American Deli

On 6/26 I ordered wings and they were under cooked. When I went on 6/27 to get a refund or something the manager refused to give me a refund because I didn’t have a receipt or the wings from the previous night. I even provided my bank statement

One of the best gyros I’ve had in a long time. The meat was tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked, wrapped in a soft, warm pita with fresh, flavorful toppings and just the right amount of sauce. The fries were a pleasant surprise—crispy, golden, and served in a fair portion that complemented the meal perfectly. Excellent quality, great value, and service that shows pride in their food. Highly recommended.

My son & I came in around 9 30 pm on 12/16 and there was a man at the counter, but I forgot his name. His customer service was top tier - he was so kind and accommodating. He then asked me if I was interested in a 2026 calendar and gave me this awesome American Deli calendar lol, and some adorable Styrofoam cup drink keychains. It absolutely made my night how kind he was. The 3 orders of wings came out perfect by the cooks as well, the wings were great! 10/10 - We always go to this American Deli and will continue to return

If I were you I would not order from this location. I was in there tonight and I saw that they had a plastic jug when some type of substance inside of it trying to warm it up sitting in the fryer they were cooking food in. That plastic is reaching temperatures of 350 and higher which would melt it and leaving chemicals and other foreign substances in their oil. I will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau in the health department. That is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen and I used to work in a kitchen for over 7 years.

The best chicken wings in the Sandy Plains area await you. They are cooked perfectly, imho, and have a very nice spicey flavor. I like them hot and these do not disappoint. I will say their fries are some of the best of any place in Marietta. An excellent crisp with a fluffy interior make these French fries sing. As for the cheese burger 🍔, I was impressed. The bun was soft, yet held up very well. Overall, I give AD high marks for their wings 🪽 😋 Great job!

I’ve been coming here a long time before it even became American deli, they constantly change managements. Most recently the orders we’ve placed lately have had small pinky wings. Unbelievable how tiny they have been. It’s such a disappointment, because this wing place was less than a 8 minute drive from us, it was always our go-to place. With the size of the wings lately this is the last time we will go there..

He was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to improving the customer experience. I appreciated his transparency and his dedication to making things right. It reassured me that my previous experience was more of an exception than the norm. Since then, I’ve noticed improvements—the food quality remains strong, and the service has returned to being prompt and reliable. Unfortunately, that began to decline over time. The atmosphere no longer felt inviting, and the staff often came across as defensive rather than service-focused. The food quality also dropped from what it once was, and I found myself going only because it was close to home. I even started considering other options because it just didn’t feel like the same experience anymore. ⸻ Final Thought: I’m grateful the manager took time to listen and address concerns. That kind of leadership deserves to be acknowledged. I’ll continue coming back to this American Deli and hope the positive changes continue.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this place has the most laughably tiny chicken wings I’ve ever seen in my life. They’re so tiny that they weigh about half an ounce each including the sauce and the bone so you can imagine how much chicken is on there. If it were advertised on the menu that the wings were tiny then this would be understandable but obviously that is not the case. They are advertised and priced to lead you to believe they are “normal” size.

Its been a while, I've found other chicken places over the years...but figured I'd try this location replacing Wing Haven. Arrived & order was wrong to start, then incorrect again. Extra charges for mix or half & half, which are new to me. Watched a lady walk out without celery which she didnt want to pay extra for because it was supposed to be included. Anyways got my wings all hot sauced...and very little lemon pepper, which we all know what lemon pepper hot means....&& it didnt even qualify being mixed for the charge. Overall wasn't happy just hungry....I sprinkled so much lemon pepper on my wings & left. Not bashing but wont return, not enough listening happening for extra charges. Will just hit my regular spot.

I love American deli but lord have mercy y'all have got to make the wings bigger. If I'm paying for 10 wings, I expect them to at least be a decent size.
