We have been waiting to try this place forever, we drove 2 1/2 hrs just to be highly disappointed with the food. Let's start with the turkey sub nothing special overly salty sandwich meat, soggy bread, the same issue with the ham sub. The lemon pepper wings worst ever it honestly taste like they put the chicken directly in the fryer with no seasoning then took the chicken out and drenched them in lemon pepper seasoning the taste was so overwhelming with the lemon pepper, the fries nothing special. Will avoid this place for the horrible food.

Called at 7:14 they Tell me the order will be ready at 740. I get in there at 743 to give them extra time JUST IN CASE, go to the counter at 745 guy tells me coming out now. Didn’t walk out with my order till 754 mind you my break is 730-8 so what time do I have to eat my food? Next time I’ll order it and if it ain’t ready in time ima get a whole refund!

Im in town for a game and decided to stop and try this spot. I have to say I totally recommend it. Food was so good. I got fried rice, Fried shrimp and a Philly cheese steak was fire. My frimds got Hot wings salmon sandwich and shrimp fried rice. Going back for more before we head out to phx.

I like their hot with lemon pepper sprinkles, I have no complaints about American Deli, they have some of the best hot wings in LA thus far. Would always suggest calling to order because the wait time in person could be 20-30 minutes otherwise, which is understandable because they get quite busy.

I witnessed some extremely unsanitary practices during my visit. The cook was wearing gloves but repeatedly scratched his face with them on. He then continued to handle food and touch the foil used for serving fries with the same contaminated gloves. No glove change, no hand washing. Meanwhile the cashier was wearing gloves while swiping through her phone, then placed it back in her pocket and immediately began making a sandwich touching the ham and bread with those same gloves. That’s completely unacceptable and unhygienic. On top of that the beverage station was filthy and clearly not being maintained. The floor, rug, counter, and the entire small area were dirty and gave a neglected impression. This level of cleanliness and food handling is deeply concerning and needs to be addressed immediately.

They are so thorough, I mean napkins, straw, utensils, ranch sauce it was all there. Food presentation was on point. Aromas had me ready at the door!!

Overpriced and cold. Tried to charge me $2 for a side of hot sauce, AFTER I paid for some overpriced wings. lol laughable. What a rip off and scam.

I it was a delivery order. Very efficient and quick wings were small and crispy. Vegetables fried rice was very good. I would say order away if in the lax area great service for sure.

American Deli in Inglewood is a alternative to some of the other wing spots in the area. I've been here a couple of times, so, let's jump right into this review. Centrally located in a shopping center, about two blocks west of Manchester and La Brea. Pros 1. Customer service is excellent. From the person behind the cash register to the person handing you your order. I like that they show you your order prior to bagging it up. Any discrepancy, you can clear that up right there on the spot. 2. They offer all flats OR all drums. You can order extra crispy wings and fries. 3. Wings are good. Flavor is consistent. Cons 1. Wings are small but I prefer small wings. For me, not necessarily a con, but for the rest of society this may be an issue. 2. The inside of the establishment is run down. Ceiling panels ajar or missing. Thick glass barrier that separates customers from employees. Gives no contact jail visit vibes. 3. Wait times is long even on average. If it is busy, you looking at 30-45 minutes. 4. Online pricing differs than in-person pricing when you place an order through Grub Hub or Door Dash. The increase to order through a food app is substantial. Not sure why, but I would prefer to order online and pick-up to avoid sitting at the establishment 30-45 minutes. Overall, food is fresh and the wings are crispy and flavorful. If the inside appearance doesn't bother you than you will appreciate this spot. I am 50/50, appearance vs. food quality; I am not sure I can get pass how run down the inside looks.

These wings lock in so much flavor! My favorite is the wet lemon pepper and medium. The parking is a little tight but it's worth the wait!

I used to love wings from here! The flavors are so good! But unfortunately the last handful of times I've went the wings have been old and dry. And the fries, limp. While waiting an 25 extra minutes in store for my order, I noticed the cooks didn't fry any new wings and they were actually grabbing wings from a previously fried bulk pile. I don't know how long they were out for, but our wings were cold. They barely coated the sauce into the wings and it almost had no flavor. Which is a bummer because I love the hot lemon pepper sauce, and garlic parm sauce. The fries were limp and soggy with hardly any seasoning salt too. It was disappointing. The wait time was 20-30 minutes longer than what it said when I ordered online, the management is rude, and when my husband complained, as it turned out, it was the manager he was speaking to! She told him, "give me your number and I'll call you later about it." Very weird. Please check your order is done correctly in store. It's ridiculous to wait 1 hour for 20 wings and a large fry and for our order to be as disappointing as it was.

This was my first time visiting American Deli, and my expectations were moderate since I've heard it's a big deal down South. Upon walking in, I noticed the pace was very fast--definitely not the warmest or most welcoming vibe. It felt like you were expected to already know your order. We ordered two 10-piece wing combos, which came out to about $45. One combo was sweet chili with fry seasoning, and the other was honey hot and hot lemon pepper with lemon and parmesan seasoning. The sweet chili wings were solid--had a nice kick to them but still flavorful. However, the second combo really stood out! The hot lemon pepper wings were amazing, and the seasoning combination was on point. The fries were decent, though not particularly memorable. Overall, the food was good, especially the wings, but the lack of a friendly atmosphere and the price point make it hard to justify rushing back. If you're all about flavorful wings and don't mind the hustle, it's worth a visit!

I recently visited a relative and they recommended this place. I tried them and omg they are absolutely amazing. Their Philly is to die for.

Mid, too expensive, all hype. 3 stars. Customer service was ok, place was clean, food was fresh. Skimpy portions, call your order in even then it takes a minute to get your order. Food was ok, fresh hot but not worth the hype. I've been to 2 locations and the location does matter... its worth trying!

We looked forward for awhile now, to trying their wings, fries, Beef Philly cheese steak sandwich and the house fried Shrimp Rice. All were great. The review even made it to our YouTube channel @TripoutwithSadieandRandThom

I ordered a plate of shrimp fried rice about a year ago. And it was so awful, I still have nightmares about it till this day. I get upset even writing this review... Anyway, I ordered and waited about 20 minutes... Once I received my order, I was ecstatic because I was super hungry. After I got home, I happily picked up a spoon to eat. I sat at the table full of joy and dug in. I placed the spoon full of fried rice in my mouth and instantly was met with this foul and disgusting taste.

Long wait times, but this is definitely a place for consideration you want to pregame before that concert at The forum. And when I mean pregame, I mean to eat. Otherwise, you're gonna get stuck ordering the ultra-hyper-super-mega prices for crap food at the forum. I haven't tried there wings yet, but I've had their Philly Cheese Steak. Twice. Yeah, it's kinda 'junk food' , and having more than one a month will for sure clog those arteries, but overall, on the above average side when it comes to what Los Angeles has to offer on this Philly classic. And like all other items on the menu, they're made to order. And I love the krinkle cut fries. A lot. Those and steak fries are my preference. Seasoned with some lawry's seasoning/cajun seasoning is highly recommended to optimize the taste.

Had their fish plate. It was delicious. Fish well seasoned, fried to perfection, nice coating crunchy, and tender. I like my fries crispy no salt. They got my order right. I have had various flavored wings also saucy and tender. People are friendly, the wait time can vary depending on how busy. We have eaten here for years never disappointed.

Friendly staff with great food! Honey hot w/ lemon pepper sprinkles ‍ hits everytime! There's a pretty brown skin girl with natural hair, she's cool as hell and I think she makes the food which is prob why it's so good.

For this to be a place that accepts EBT & make fresh food - it's amazing! I ordered the salmon burger. Good price, tasty overall & not a long wait period. Peach lemonade wise also tasty.

My daughter and I recently visited AMERICAN DELI in INGLEWOOD, it's always a long wait but the food and SPECIFICALLY THE WINGS are amazing with fresh fries and many different seasoning salts. Great staff during busy hours!

I love the wings at American Deli, they are usually 5 Star plus! But on Friday 5/23/25, and on a couple other occassions, they have not been fried crispy as requested and almost tasted half done, which could cause illness. I think it depends on who's there and busy they are, it shouldn't matter, especially with the higher than average price they charge. Also the bbq sauce tasted watered down with no flavor and, just barely covering the wings. Please get it together American deli you have the best wings in town!

I've been looking for a great wing spot that does DRY lemon pepper wings and American Deli had great reviews, so I decided to try them out! Ordered on Doordash, when I arrived, the young lady behind the counter was just finishing my order. She poured my drink (peach iced tea) and handed me my order which smelled fantastic and was piping hot. The wings were delicious, crispy, well-seasoned, a real treat. The fries could have used a dash of salt, but the real reason I'm taking one star off is for the overly sugary iced tea! I took one sip and almost spat it out! It'll have to be watered down A LOT and will probably stretch to three or four cups of tea. Really overdone with the sugar. Parking is super easy, as this is located in a small plaza with not too much traffic. Overall, fast and friendly service, and when I'm in the mood for wings, I'd return here.

Service/ cold food I picked up my order b-4 it was ready and my fries were just warm going cold. I brought it up to the cashier $18.69 order for a Philly steak sandwich & fries, and I wanted to try their signature sauce. DISMISSED your fries are fineMaybe because you're not eating them. I wouldn't spend another dime at a business that disrespects you. Maybe they'll change their ways. But that's a little late for that.

My first time ordering from this place, open the bag taking out the containers, the bottom of the bag, one of my ranch containers was opened and spilled all over. The ranch sauce was actually very good. My wings were dry, like they were sitting under a warmer , or fried over. The fries were old and hard. I spent so much money and the food was a disappointment, I should have ordered from wingstop. I saw latryguy video, and the food look so fire, not the case for me. Also the size of the wings were too small, some of my wings look like pigeon wings, I don't like big wings, but these wings were too small.

Turkey burgers didn't have any dressing on them and they look like they were just thrown together. We spend too much money there for our food to be delivered like that. I think it's because door dash delivers and we don't see the food until it gets to us. Shameful

this one star is specifically cause I came to order some wings & I saw they have a new flavor Honey Hot. ... I ordered them and noticed they charge .50 extra when i was about to pay when it doesn't say that on their flyers I just felt it was weird. why would you be charging extra just cause it's new? Can we get a chance to try it first? A pet peeve of mine is money hungry businesses - especially when the customer service is not on point. there's really no need for that. They will tell you 10-15 min for your order and you be there for about 30. Get it together please! :)

Ordered wings and a cheesesteak sandwich. Wings were tiny, but the steak sandwich was just okay. Ordered the food 45 mins ahead, got to the spot and had to wait an additional 30 mins for fries (sigh). While waiting 3 customers played a game to see which one of them would pay for the group. All the loud laughing, yelling, bumping into other patrons (combined with American Deli's loud music) made my wait miserable. Their chaos backed up the order line. This may not specifically be American Deli's fault, but had they reached out to those in line (behind the players) at least it would have shown some concern for their customer's time. The food, service, and ambiance were two stars for me.

I am a regular customer of the Inglewood location. I live around the corner. I always order the same thing 15 barbecue wing extra crispy. I ordered on Saturday and walked to pick up my order when I get home they are the hot wings and not BBQ. I called and the guy was able to locate my order number 236 and said to stay close to my phone and manager will call me. No one has called. I've called everyday and spoke to the same man and he assured me the manager will call. I called today he said he can't help me and blocked my number. Not professional at all. I wasn't rude at all. Just want to know if I can get my order or a refund because I can't eat hot wings. I go to the restaurant and the lady was able to pull up my receipt and order but said she has to wait to hear back from her manager. This is so wrong! I have to wait so long to get my food or a refund.? Hope this doesn't come off as rude but the black homie put me on wings are fire !!! And I like the Philly beef combo . Fries wings and a sub . Fills you up ! Ask for light onions and bell pepper . Get extra meat and trust me it's good . Get the wings extra crispy and extra wet the homie gets annoyed everytime he asks where I wanna eat now cuz he know ima say deli

My favorite wings in LA right now! I'm a huge sauce fan, and that lemon pepper wet is perfection!! The service is ok, you'll have a bit of a wait but it's all worth it! (Also, try the fruit punch lemonade mix)

Il I like this place the wings are pretty good! But, I don't like there over the phone online ordering service!! Why order over the phone and then you have to wait additional time once you arrive to get your food.. they literally wait until you come in and pay .. before they will start cooking your food!! So irritating!! That defeats the purpose of pre-ordering!! She said 10 mins!! Once there 40 mins to get my order!! SMH!! People pre-order for a reason and this took longer than. If I had just walk-in to place a to go order!!! Do better!!!!

There no prices on their menu and the prices on their website is not accurate because when you go in, they are much higher!

I got the Philly cheesesteak. The food was really good. The sandwich was a bit small for $12 but it was very filling and tasty. I believe this place is listed online as accepting EBT, which they don't, just a heads up. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely be back.

Decided to give this place a try....contemplated on which one to try...we went with the one in INGLEWOOD always UP to NO GOOD!!! We step into the place it's one person waiting for their food. Hmm, it's empty in here am I making the right decision? Should I go elsewhere. Here's what we ordered: Pastrami Sandwich with fries and drink: Sprite Chicken Sandwich with fries and drink: Fruit Punch Philly Steak Sandwich with fries and drink: Fruit Punch 10 Piece Wings (Mild with Lemon Pepper Sprinkles) with fries and drink: Lemonade It took a while for the order to be fulfilled. While waiting here's what I observed: Even if you call in your order ahead of time, they do not began to prepare your order until you are present and the order has been paid for. The wings with Hot/Mild with Lemon Pepper are very popular. There are various seasonings available on the counter to sprinkle on your fries. The Philly Steak Sandwich seems to be popular. My thoughts on the food: The Pastrami Sandwich was on Rye Bread. The pastrami meat wasn't piled high on the sandwich. For the price and quality I'd go to Tam's before thinking about ordering it from American Deli. The Chicken Sandwich was piled high with thick or nice size tenders; it was siting pretty. Unfortunately it was a tad too much. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was flavorful with the meat piled up high; worth the charge. I got it with no mushrooms and added Mayo. The WINGS, nothing to be hyped about. Mike's Deli have them beat. The fries were a disappointment. You have the seasonings to top them off for perfect flavor BUT the consistency as to the way they were cooked wasn't there some soft some over cooked some cooked to a perfect crisp some not consumable. They were plentiful with the serving portion but it was the slack and lack of the consistency for me. The DRANKS...the fruit punch was overly suga'rish! I added ice and a splash of water to make it perfect. The lemonade was overly suga'rish too! The Peach Juice mixed with the Sweet Tea seems to be popular.

While I sincerely hope these are not the best wings in LA (as a native Buffalonian and Buffalo wing purist), these wings were quite good and definitely hit the spot. American deli coats them with cornstarch before frying, which gave their wings a texture I wasn't used to (more akin to General Tsos chicken when sauced), but it wasn't entirely unpleasant. It was also gluten free which I loved. The sauces I tried (lemon pepper and hot lemon pepper) were also quite good. If you are used to a crispy wing however I'd definitely get everything made dry because the cornstarch coating + sauce makes for a little sliminess.

The food is FYE! For sure. However, the service is slow asl. Like why do they accept phone order and when you arrive it's still a 20 min wait. The point of make a phone order is to minimize the wait. Y'all gotta do better. But like I said... food is fye (fire).

Ordered my food it should've took 18 minutes however it's a 35 they gave me a peach juice it was disgusting so I asked for water instead she told me she'd have to charge me for the water because she already gave me a cup. She was very rude about it it didn't make any sense so I just asked her for a refund and she told me not to come back. Save your money! Customer service save your money.

This is more a 2.5 than a solid 2. The wings are actually good. That's pretty much the end. There is parking if you care about that. The place is small and there's a crooked table inside with 2 flimsy chairs. But apparently this "fine dining" establishment takes reservations and guests aren't able to use the very subpar seating area. Long story short my friend came from North Carolina. After a long flight we stopped to get wings. I don't live in the area so we sat down to eat the wings before hitting the road. 3 wings in and we were told the table was reserved and nobody could eat there until their guest came. We left! And obviously would never go back. How is there nowhere to eat your food? But again... the food was good. Just not good enough to be kicked out.
