American Express Centurion Lounge

This is by far the best Centurion Lounge I’ve ever been to. The food was outstanding, but if you want to truly feel like you’re out in the city, head to the speakeasy and enjoy an incredible cocktail experience that makes you forget you’re even in an airport. We tried the 1850 Stealth drinks, and every single one was amazing — especially thanks to one of the best mixologists we’ve ever had, Nicolas. His creativity, skill, and hospitality took the experience to another level.

I had a good experience at the Amex Lounge at JFK Terminal 4. The service was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. While the food options were a bit limited, the overall atmosphere made up for it. The speakeasy bar was definitely the highlight — such a cool touch. The espresso martini was my favorite, easily one of the best parts of the visit. A solid lounge experience overall.

A “has been”. The only good reason to go here would be if the Chase lounge next door has too long of a wait. Crowded with a waiting list (but then so was the Chase one). Kids needed to pay $30 while they are covered in Chase (but then that’s a difference in perks between Amex Platinum and Chase Sapphire, so I understand not a fair ding against the lounge). Style is dated - buffet style instead of made-to-order like in Chase Sapphire. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Bars are present in each floor. Elevators between floors are slow. Service is prompt and polite. Definitely was a great lounge in the past, just that it no longer competes with the lounge next door.

We've been here a few times and rly love it! The separate coffee shop inside has great options - live taking the wellness shot! Recently tried the smoothie as well and it's AMAZING - I normally don't take kale smoothies because you can taste it but I'm this one you can't taste it at all 🙏🏽. The staff is always friendly and they pick up dirty plates quick enough, since the tables are kind of small. Love that there are 2 levels as well! Been Amex platinum members for a few years now and the lounge is the main reason we continue to keep it.

As a frequent traveler, I’m shocked by how bad the experience of this lounge is. The food is no better than the most basic lounges I’ve been in. The layout is strange and makes you feel like you’re in maze. I came at 7pm and it was pretty empty, I got right in. I immediately wanted to leave and go to another lounge. The standard delta sky club has better food than this buffet. The only thing I like here is the nice comfortable seating, otherwise I’d never come back. Sad because I just got the Amex and thought this would be a great new perk.

Beautiful Centurion Lounge by American Express. ✨ It gets busy so a waitlist sign up is often needed. It has taken about 20 min every time for me. Shower is super nice! And the Blue Roast coffee shop is amazing! 😊

It’s a step above a Priority Pass lounge. Drinks and wine are good, but the food options are minimal like Priority Pass and not mindful of people with sensitivities. Chicken is over seasoned or with exotic spices, everything else is creamy, like mashed potatoes or mushroom cream soup. The speak easy is nice looking and the bartenders are cool. They make a good espresso martini, and the Cote du Rhone and Barolo are nice. If you just want drinks this is a good spot, if you can snag a seat. If you want food, not the best option. We should’ve gone to the delta lounge since it was an early international flight.

I don't know who they are paying to write all the great reviews but if you're hungry this is not the place. If you don't like to be boiled in glasshouses also the wrong place . Sun is all over the place noon and afternoon and on the food. Row of low tables and some more in the corridor. Food is not appealing though it is eatable if you caught it before the sun made it melt.. And alcohol.. one glass per id...and one good thing - the stuff is very nice !!! But all in all -Skip it !
