I loved this tour! Renee was a very knowledgeable, pleasant tour guide and treated everyone on the tour with kindness. Renee had a wonderful way of explaining the history of the Over the Rhine area that intrigued me and made it come alive. The places we visited on the tour were quite interesting. The Queen City Ultimate Tour was the best part of my vacation.

What an incredible experience in the city of Cincinnati! The tour was led by Mrs. Miranda, a woman with a big smile and a remarkable ability to make you feel like part of her family. She also had an impressive knowledge of the hidden caverns beneath the city and could remember the name of every person in our group—wow! It was truly amazing. But the most interesting part was all the history I learned during this two-hour tour. Miranda, thank you for making our tour magical and, most of all, for helping us learn so much about the history of the city. William from Houston, Texas.

Google
Miranda's tour was great, she was very enthusiastic about Cincinnati, Ohio, and the tour subject. We did the underground tour, learning about the brewery district of Cincinnati, the "Greater Cincinnati " area, and the history of all of the above. She put her Aussie charm into the tour and interacted with the tourists as she explained about the use and purpose of the varied penetrations from the tunnels to the surface. Thank you for an excellent and educational tour.

We went on the Queen City Underground Tour with Tour Guide Harrison. He did such an awesome job with our tour, being very informative and fun. Also had quite the comedic humor when needed on the tour. This is an absolute must recommend if you ever have time to do this in Cincinnati!

Google
What an amazing tour!! My wife and I spent the day in Cincinnati for our anniversary. Miranda (the blonde Australian) was great! Even with the temperature in the 90’s, she kept our attention with great facts and humor. We learned about the tunnel’s history and some of the neighboring buildings. She is passionate about not only the tunnel’s history but about Over the Rhine in general. The tour was just the right amount of walking and plenty of time to rest in the shade. There are some tricky steps and a couple of spots that could be difficult for some to traverse, but it was very doable. We will definitely take another tour on our next visit to Cincinnati!

Google
We had an incredible time on the Hidden Brewery Tour in Cincinnati, led by our fantastic guide, Miranda. Her passion for sharing Cincinnati's rich history made the experience truly engaging and memorable. The tour began and ended at Northern Row Brewery, a fitting location steeped in history. Northern Row Brewery, located in the Over-the-Rhine district, is housed in a historic pre-Prohibition brewery building from the 1800s, revitalized to honor Cincinnati’s brewing legacy while offering modern craft beers. The highlight of the tour was exploring the underground tunnels, which were a bit creepy but absolutely fascinating. Learning about the Linck Tunnel, only discovered in 2016, was a surprising and intriguing piece of history that added depth to the experience. Miranda’s knowledge and enthusiasm brought both the city’s and brewery’s stories to life, making this a must-do for anyone interested in Cincinnati’s past and its brewing heritage. Highly recommend this tour for a unique and educational adventure! Because Miranda said her mom reads all the reviews, I want to say 'Hi, Martha! Miranda is an amazing tour guide!'

Google
Our guide Miranda with American Legacy Tours was fantastic. My girlfriends are not from Cincinnati so it was fun to learn some history while they were in town. As a local it was really cool to hear the history of the murals in the brew district. Northern Row brew was great!!

Google
We gad a great time! Our tour guide Miranda was great, she even lives in the neighborhood we toured. We are already planning our next tour. Hopefully we can have her as a guide again. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Underground Cincinnati tour to round out our trip. Actually really cool but also very worth it. We walked away smarter. At least about beer. And well, that seems to be what #Cincy cares about most. #PatsYourBags #DeezPats #Patsinnati #PatsAwayGames #PatsNation #Cincinatti #AmericanLegacyTours Highly recommend Harrison!!!!

Yelp
We went on the Queen City Ultimate Underground Tour. About half of the tour is above ground telling the most interesting stories of the area and how the city grew. Including some of its dark history that had been forgotten for many years and then unearthed - literally - when building an underground parking garage in a downtown city park. They found out the park had been a grave yard that only MOST of the bodies had been removed from. It's a crazy story you will definitely want to hear for yourself if you are ever in the area. We visited a beautiful church and its crypt. The crypt floor was "tiled" with tombstones. The whole thing had the feel of an illuminati escapaded. Especially, when we accidentally got locked in the church. Our tour guide kept applogizing but seriously! How cool is that! Tours with a little upheaval are the best, especially when the adventure is unplanned and no one was hurt. We explored several of the underground tunnels left vacant and forgotten after they stopped using them to brew beer, in favor of modern technologies. Going down in the tunnels was super interesting and a little sketchy (which was part of the adventure and made it so fun). The "stairs" down, which is actually more like a ladder because they are steep, have their own crazy story which starts with a group of friends drinking and jackhammering a hole in a basement. Needless to say, the tour was a huge highlight of our trip and made me feel like Indiana Jones (at least a tiny bit). I saved the best for last. Our tour guide, Jordan, was AMAZING!!!! And deserves every single one of those exclamation points. You could tell he loved what he was doing and was super fascinated by the things he shared. He didn't just share facts, he shared stories and adventures from the past. It was like an old friend chatting with you, not a tour guide droning on. Jordan is the MVP of tour guides.

Yelp
Took a dessert and wine tour with my wife. Viator had a better description than their site. I expected different desserts, but it still worked. 3 stops graeters for ice cream Al's popcorn for great popcorn to try and a macron store. final stop was revel wine bar and winery. We had a great tour guide, Madelin. Got some history of buildings and of Washington park. They also do ghost tours. I think it was 79 dollars for a 2+ hour tour.

Yelp
We took the 'Hidden Caverns Tour.' Our expectations from the online description and the reality of the tour didn't match, but it was still enjoyable. What's described as "underground journey of the historic Linck brewery tunnels beneath the City" was more above ground than anything. We definitely learned the history of the Linck tunnels but we were a bit disappointed we weren't touring more underground - especially since it was a cold December day. The actual cavern portion is maybe 20-25 minutes of the 90 minute tour, and is pretty cool. It's amazing what people used to be able to build without today's technology! But again, we thought most of the tour would be in caverns and tunnels. I was completely picturing a whole other underground world where you take this tunnel and pop at this brewery, then back down and end up at another one. Learning how the caverns work, it makes sense that's not an underground world like that, but the description of the tour online should be tweaked to be more 'above ground tour about the underground.' If you're interested in the history of beer it is a good tour. Shout out to our tour guide Harrison. He was a wonderful guide and he made up for the disappointment of it not being completely underground. He had great knowledge and humor, made sure we could all hear him, pointed out other things that weren't on the typical agenda, and made it enjoyable and engaging.

Yelp
We went on the Queen City Underground tour with Harrison yesterday and it was so much fun! Harrison was the best tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Highly recommend! We've already told several friends to book when they are in Cincinnati.

Yelp
Miranda was a great guide. She knew about the history of Over The Rhine. There were so many breweries there, but few are left. I learned a lot and had a great time.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our Nightmare on Elm Street walking tour with Miranda! So much creepy, scary fun to explore the tunnels and to hear the cool historical stories. We cannot explain why our flashlight kept flickering off and on in sync with the candle. Very scary and mysterious!
google avatar

Yelp
Great tour. Our tour guide Harrison was a wealth of knowledge. Definitely give it a try.

Yelp
Best part of our trip!!!! We had a company meeting, and booked this tour! Miranda was our tour guide, and she was absolutely fabulous!!!! She really knows Cincinnati and really brought it to life for us. She gave us so much history, and is a great story teller! Hated to have it end, next time we come back the Ghost tour is definitely on our list! Thanks Miranda

Yelp
Loved the ultimate underground tour. Michael is a knowledgeable and interesting guide. I would recommend this tour to anybody visiting Cincinnati. I'm already looking forward to our next tour

Yelp
Just took this amazing, historical tour led by our tour guide Cade. He was funny and so informative. He answered all of our questions. It was a little tricky getting down into the caverns. There were skinny stairs that we had to go down a little sideways. So glad we did this.

Natalie P.

Yelp
cane is the best tour guide! His passion knowledge and love for Cinny is incredible. I learned so much about this city.

J.R. S.

Yelp
My family and I went on our tour with Miranda! This woman is fire! The absolute best tour guide you'll ever encounter. She's warm, funny, knowledgeable, and so clever. She took time after the tour to talk with my parents and gave my mother special attention. Her attention to detail and her thoughtful insights made the tour extraordinary.

Yelp
I took the Ultimate Queen City Underground tour and loved it. Cade was an amazing guide. He loves his native city and it shines through in his tour. I never knew about the underground tunnels built for making lager.

Very informative, funny and personable, she gave us an entertaining tour and took us to some very interesting locations. I would definitely recommend booking this tour. Yelp
I recently did the Ultimate Queen City Underground Tour with a group of friends during a bachelorette weekend. We had a blast learning about the history of Cincinnati, particularly about the history of beer and brewing! It was so cool to go underground and see the brewery tunnels and learn how they were used previously, the process to restore them and what they hope to do as they restore them. Our tour guide, George, was a great storyteller, very knowledgeable and passionate and funny too! He gave us so much information during the two hour tour and answered any follow-up questions our group had. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with American Legacy Tours and I would recommend requesting George as your guide!
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
Harrison was very informative, open to questions and the pace was comfortable and easy to take in the surroundings while learning some history about the OTR. We would recommend to others.

Yelp
My friends and I took the Ultimate Queen City Underground Tour while in Cincinnati for work. The tour was extremely informative about the history of the city and some of the hidden secrets/underground world. We try to do tours in every city we pass through and this was definitely the most informative and interesting one I can remember. Our tour guide Zach was really funny and knowledgeable and definitely made the tour great. We are going to look into other tours with Legacy and would highly recommend!!

Yelp
The Hidden Caverns Tour was one of the highlights of our Cincinnati staycation! Miranda was awesome and our 3 kids loved her and the tour. FYI, our kids love museums and history so learning about the history of OTR was fascinating to them. This was personally my second tour with the company and I've loved each one - if you are looking for something fun to do while visiting Cincinnati or if you are play tourist in your own hometown don't miss out!
google avatar

Yelp
My brother and I went on the Cavern Tour this afternoon, and had so much fun! We learned a lot about Cincinnati history during prohibition, too. At 90 minutes, it was just the right length and ended with a pint at a relatively new brewery. Miranda was engaging, informative, considerate, and quite funny. Next time you are in Cincinnati, make sure this your is on your list!

A S.

Yelp
Miranda was such a fun, informative, and funny guide. I enjoyed her cheerful disposition and appreciated the way she remembered the names of some of the people in the group. I look forward to visiting Cincy again and taking another tour with American Legacy, and hopefully Miranda.

Yelp
A good use of a couple hours, very interesting and we had a great guide. Dean was great. Lots of fun and very interesting.
google avatar

Courtney T.

Yelp
Such a cool and insightful ultimate underground Cincy tour! The complimentary water at the beginning was great. The history of the city and beer/prohibition facts were interesting. George was an awesome guide-he was knowledgeable and funny. 2 hours was a perfect tour length and the beer tasting at the end was the Gerry on top. Would recommend 100%! Ps: the donut place next door to the meeting spot is worth a stop as well!
google avatar

Robert G.

Yelp
The tour was amazing. Miranda was fantastic and so much fun and engaging. The tour was spooky in all the best ways.
google avatar

Teresa J.

Yelp
Miranda was our guide, and she did a fabulous job! She definitely loves what she does. We enjoyed hearing about the "Old Rhine" area of Cincinnati. The crypt below St. Francis Seraph was interesting. However, even better were the tunnels, if they can called that. The area was HUGE! If you get a chance to go on an "American Legacy" Tour, do it!!

Anna D.

Yelp
Madelyn was amazing!! We had such a great time and learned so much. This was the first thing we did in the city, and we're so glad we did. We did the ultimate Queen City underground tour. There are some steep steps here and there as they describe on the website, but at 22 weeks pregnant, I was fine.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Dean was friendly and full of information that was both educational and entertaining. Started the tour at Northern Row Brewery and Distillery. Come get a tour and have a few beers before you leave Cincinnati.

Wes C.

Yelp
Miranda gave me and my colleagues a tour this afternoon, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best tour I've been on. It was the "Hidden Caverns" tour, and her personability, knowledge, and love of the subject matter and her job made it super fun and engaging. I 100% recommend to anyone interested in Cincinnati's brewing history, or just love fun tours!
