American Place Casino

Came to check this place out, when your inside, you would never think you're in a large tent. Was not very crowded when I went. The bartender in the photo was rude. I wouldn't suggest going to her. Maybe she was just overwhelmed or having a bad day. There are many slot machines here, table games as well, blackjack, roulette, also video craps, roulette and poker. Stopped in and got food at the Asia Aztec restaurant. Let me just say that the food is amazing and so is the service. We had Bella for a server, and she's got to be one of the best. Will be back. I would hate to see this place when it's busy since the parking lot is not that big. I was also surprised that this is in the middle of shopping stores. If you gamble or want a really good bite to eat, I recommend checking it out. Giving 4 stars because of the bartender. When you show her the menu and say you'd like to try this and even point to it, and she says which one, and you repeat yourself and point it out on the menu again and she gets frustrated and says she can come back cuz she's got other people waiting n not elaborating on what she's not understanding about what I'm saying or flat out showing her what I'm talking about on the bar menu, I'm not sure what the issue was.

We had been here before but I heard that the Canoe Bar was sporting some cool new drinks and really wanted to stop back here to play a little and try one of the restaurants. The bartender caught me taking pictures and said it was ok - she even struck a pose! We had a few people hanging out and we were able to try multiple drinks - responsibly! - since we shared them! I have to be honest... I didn't want to share most of them. The flavors jumped out even more than the visual presentation! I can't say the last time - if ever - I have had drinks with layers of flavors like these. Simply Amazing. We were told that there will be fresh drink menus changing with the seasons - I am looking forward to the next set! If you haven't been to American Place Casino yet, why not?!? Get a Player's Card - they have perks for players - AND drawings for active players! The staff that we interacted with were very friendly, answered questions and made us feel like they appreciated us being there. Some people remember what customer service means - many of those people must work here!

I had a great time at American Place Casino! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. While I didn’t win big, I appreciated the $10 free play to get started. The complimentary soda and coffee were a nice touch, keeping me refreshed as I explored the games. I even donated my small winnings, turning my visit into a fun and rewarding experience. Even without free alcohol, it’s a fantastic spot for entertainment and a good time!

I love this place! The slot machines pay out like crazy! If I could give it more than five stars I would. The staff is super friendly. The only suggestion I would make is to put more staff on the floor offering water and drinks. Every time I'm there it seems like there's only one or two people on the floor.

That meal was incredible. we order fried rice , spring rolls and guacamole chips. And also for dessert Green Tea Ice cream is so good. Love it my favorite. The server name Alicia was a good server . Nice place to eat and affordable price 👍

I’ve only stopped in once real quick to check it out for an hour when scoping out new casinos for a group of slot players to try as an alternative to Rivers. We all live within 15-20 min of Rivers and we meet to play like 5x a week; but only because it’s close. After learning that none of the group of 12 particularly like Rivers (primarily due to their high bets and abnormally long stretches of losing coupled with terrible rewards), I decided to look around for a new casino to try, even if it’s a bit farther. While normally I’m not a fan of casinos that have little to zero classic old school slots, I was still impressed by AP. They have a very large selection of modern games that I’m hoping will make a worthwhile substitute for classic reel games. Personally, I lost, but I wasn’t really trying as much as I was just testing the waters. I’ve heard very mixed reviews on winnings, which is not uncommon for a casino. If it was a guarantee - there would be no casinos. The only unusual negative I heard commonly was that for some reason people tend to think bonus games pay out way lower than other casinos - but who knows if that’s true. I did experience a little of that in my brief visit, but I’ll go ahead and assume that isn’t true based on the large crowd that was there. The main reason we’re going to try AP for our next outing is that the whole place had an overall happier atmosphere than Rivers by about 100x. People seemed to be having fun, the staff I interacted with was way friendlier, and the whole presentation of the casino convinced me to suggest it to the group. I’ll update this after we’ve all gone this weekend and during the week when I can give more input on slot experiences of the lot of us. So I’m looking forward to trying AP out! It seems like there’s so much more positive energy in this vibrant casino - so I hope luck goes our way and we can have a cheerier place for our meetups!

I attended the NYE OzTacular Event and I had a ball the entire time. I was at one of the blackjack tables and dealers Fuji and Chris were fantastic, engaging and having fun with everyone at the table. Most of our table played together for more than a couple of hours!! The DJ played all fun dance music so I was dancing in my seat!! All the casino staff made the night a great place to be!!

Good Steakhouse in an area where there aren’t a ton of steak options. The food has been awesome and Makayla and Amy at the bar always make it an excellent experience. I’ve had a bunch of amazing meals here. Back when it opened there were a lot of issues and now they have addressed and corrected just about everything. Steaks are good quality, Soups are very good, the homemade Ice Cream is fantastic, the sides are the only thing needing some improvement.

Very nice place. I got the opportunity to talk to Kiki an executive casino host she was very pleasant and she answered all my questions about promotions, gifts, events and I also got a sticker for my gold card parking. The best thing was when she asked me What can we do better? I mentioned a couple things and she was writing it down she made me feel important! Btw She also suggested some nice dishes from the restaurants. Thanks Kiki for taking the time to answer my questions. You are amazing!

My husband works at a casino in MKE and his co worker recommended this casino. It was a quick 50 minute drive we were the only ones in the parking lot and we thought it was closed! We went in and it's beautiful inside. The bar was closed and beverages didn't come til around 9am. We got coffee and a pastry free with our players card. And a lunch of a hot dog, soda and chips for lunch. Everyone was super friendly. We had some fun on the slots! The restaurants aren't open until later in the day.

This place is a freaking joke. I know casinos only want to take your money but when they hold your payments because you are winking that's just wrong. I have been waiting on a payout (not hand pay) for over 15 min and still not one employee has come up to me.

This company has entertained me more in the past year than any other business. Therefore, there is no better customer to give a review that encompasses the past (almost two years), the present situation and where they are going: This destination is going o change your opinion of Waukegan. The employees make you feel like family. They are kind and courteous. The entertainment is ever changing and keeping the pulse fresh. The food has had growth and offers among the best cuisine in Waukegan (the au gratin potatoes are fire ). The cleanliness, the layout, and even the air streams are well-thought out attention to detail. The temporary tent is impressive for its limited function, the plans for the permanent are a high-class, safe, and fun experience. If I have to give a critique, it's that sometimes the security is backed up when entering, because of slow ID scanners. That should NOT stop you from giving American Place Casino a try or a second chance... and go feel like family.

What a great place! Didn't have any luck, but the people were amazingly nice! Dealers were very personable. Brian, the table supervisor (pit boss) was the nicest person ever. He set us up with players cards (which get you free slot play, and up to $500 credit on your first visit loss, and other free comps throughout the year). He just made our day. This is a temporary location, while they are building their brick and mortar location. It's a huge huge tent, but from the inside, you'd never know you were in a tent. Several restaurants and air stream/food truck places for coffee, hot dogs, pizza, sweets, etc. Tons of slots. Nice variety of table games including roulette, 3-card poker, texas hold em, Mississippi stud, blackjack, high card flush, and craps. Reasonable table minimums. (Friday afternoon-$10 available at most tables.) Clean restrooms. Clean overall. No smoking!

I'm really unhappy with the security managers here. The bigger guy with the scruffy beard especially. They don't treat the customers with respect. He needs to learn to smile and make customers feel good. Not treat every person as if they are a criminal.

For our 1st time visiting we had a great time! Staff was very friendly and helpful getting us set up with our Players card. The atmosphere was very friendly! The beverage Staff was friendly and constant in coming by our area we played. Dinner was fantastic!! No doubt we'll go back!

Save your time and travel lose your money at Rivers very tight slots and low bonuses.

First time here, visiting from Bay Area California for my sons Navy graduation so wife n I decided to stop by to check it out n hit a jackpot, just gotta get lucky and sit on the right seat. There in n out within an hr, hit n run lol. Also Wify hit 900 on huff n puff.

I like this casino even though it's only temporary while the larger complex is being built. It's a 42-45 min toll free drive from Oak Creek. Very east to find. I usually go early on weekdays and it's not very crowded. The workers are all extremely friendly and go out of their way to assist you. It's extremely clean especially the restrooms which are spacious and easily accessible for walkers and wheelchairs. I found the slots to be far more generous than at a certain Milw casino. I played for almost 4 hours and still came home with money. The tables games are fun as well and min bets are also less than some WI casinos. Parking is all outdoors and feels very safe. Food is a little limited but again, once the complex is finished, it will be a top notch venue, for food, hotel stays, gambling, and entertainment.

American Place Casino is a really nice casino. It's new looking very clean. They have a good selection of slots, which all seem new and in working order. There were a lot of games we'd never played before, as well as our favorites. They also have table games, and a wall of tv's with sports betting. In addition, there were also two small areas for food and drink. All the employees we came in contact with were helpful and friendly. We will definitely return to the American Place Casino again.

I saw a review stating the casino has marketing group. I have tried 3 times over the last 2 months to contact the casino about holding an event at their facility for about 50 people and what restrictions we would encounter. I also asked in all the attempts to get a name and do a visit to understand the lay out. Two attempts were made through the Contact link on the header of the website and the last was to the website on the bottom of the website. Starting to think they aren't interested in our business as they already have enough.

So much fun, staff is so friendly. Food at all the restaurants is great. Glad they brought back the airstream, can't beat a good old hotdog.

My experience was awesome! The environment was clean, staff was friendly especially Phil, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about several things. In my opinion he is the best employee they have!

They had a lot selections for slot machines. I went in to play poker as a table game. I played poker on a slot and had lots of fun. The drinks were good too. The casino was clean and there was lots of parking.

High limit; childish rules.Rules that every other Casino allows (face down on a double, playing two hands mid-shoe). These rule have NO impact on the Casino's edge; yet there was no explanation. Gus, a classy guy, tried to reverse my request. But to no avail. American Place is not new. It now allows promotional videos on you tube where these rules are not enforced. I left feeling like a child. I guess it's back to Rivers.

I am horrified about this casino I have been coming to this casino every since it opened bringing three or four customers with .e from Milwaukee and then to be notified I won't even receive a gift anymore so since I don't qualify I will be taking my money and my friends back to Potawatomi Casino

I have mixed feelings but a recent visit lowered my rating. They have recently added reserved parking for Gold Tier Members close to the Casino. It looked like about forty spaces. Most of them were empty. I understand that finding a regular parking space is always a gamble but this puts the average gambler at a major disadvantage. There is no garage and no valet. If you are a Senior and it is raining or snowing or just plain cold they just don't care about you. The casino is half way between the Des Plaines casino and the Milwaukee Casino. Both have indoor garage and valet parking. When approaching a floor supervisor the response was we have the required number of handicapped spaces. That is really not the issue. Maybe its time to have a different perk for high rollers.

I would avoid this Casino at all costs. The staff are rude. someone needs to contact the gaming commission because all the table games and slot machines are rigged against the customers or I should say the victims that frequent this place. They robbed me of $6000 in a little over an hour. The worst experience of my life. Totally destroyed my Christmas. I've been there several times and have never seen a single person come out a winner. save your money because a recession is looming. This place needs to be shut down indefinitely.

Place is great for a temporary casino. In fact, if this place is temporary then I can only imagine what the permanent place will be like. Asian Mexican place was good. I played tables and my wife played slots. Broke even. I WILL BE BACK

Worst casino ever! Terrible service at the restaurant, waited an hour, and food still wasn't ready with the waitress only checking on us once time. We took one drink from the room temperature beers, and they forced us to pay for them. They were giving out used decks of cards, and the "security" workers accused us of stealing them. Payouts are extremely tight.

Great food, great casino, wonderful staff and we usually have a great time in win. Add this casino. Can't wait for it to be finished, but the temporary is wonderful.

I've been a costumer of The American Casino since day one I recently was kick out without an explanation. Since the last 5 months I was spending a lot of money in that place and they stopped giving me gifts, rewards and I asked in the players club desk and they told me they don't want to give me any rewards because "I was winning most of the time" and the gift and rewards it's only for people that loose which is not true. After those 5 months this manager name Mario started harassing me all the time when he saw me playing he will be behind me . On 6-13-24 Mario was behind me and my friend and he made us feel very uncomfortable and then he started asking questions about the slot. one of the employees approached to him and asked him why he was stocking us and then he said he couldn't do anything to us but he had a way to kick out people like us ( hispanics) taking out our privileges. After we spend $2,400 we got a "jackpot" of $2,0026 it was a $30 bet Mario approach to us and say to us you guys already win are going to leave now?! And he said what's next ?! We ignored him I went home after 4 hours I returned and I wanted to redeem my points it's when I notice my card was locked I went to the player's club center and when I asked for help they just told me to wait and they called security and they kicked me out without any explanation. I reached out to Mr. Ben Crimm which is the Director of support operations I explain the situation and he just answer saying I'm not welcome to the casino permanently.
