"69th Street Pier (or American Veterans Memorial Pier) sports some of the nicest views of lower Manhattan, the Verrazano Bridge, and Statue of Liberty. You will find fishermen from all over NY trying to find the latest catch as well. Park benches are littered throughout the pier, encircling a large statue memorializing those we lost in 9/11. It’s the perfect location to sit back and relax, enjoy the views and you can even catch some fish while you catch some rays." - the serif design

The American Veterans Memorial Pier, located in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge neighborhood, is a poignant tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. This scenic pier extends into the Upper Bay, offering breathtaking views of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and the Manhattan skyline. It’s a favorite spot for fishing, reflection, and soaking in the beauty of the waterfront. The pier also hosts “Beacon,” a memorial honoring the Brooklyn victims of the September 11 attacks, symbolizing a community’s resilience and remembrance. Whether you’re paying homage to veterans or simply enjoying the serene environment, the American Veterans Memorial Pier stands as a proud testament to the spirit of American valor and unity.

The place is nice and beautiful, but they need to train their employees of ferry to be nicer and more understandable.
