The sandwich’s are delicious but definitely getting more pricy. Was disappointed this last time I ordered food I got onion rings, when I got home there were no onions inside! When I called the restaurant to fix it, the owner (I think), said there’s nothing he can do and I have to go online. There was no customer service link on their website. I ordered through their website, not an external service. Very disappointed that they wouldn’t accommodate their mistake!

I tried the Parmesan sandwich with the crunchy Dutch bread and it was honestly so good. It came out nice and warm, which made it even better. The bread had the perfect crunch on the outside but was still soft inside, and the Parmesan flavor really stood out without being overwhelming. On top of that, the staff and service were amazing — you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Even though it’s fast-paced, everything still feels attentive and welcoming. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely be coming back.

If you’re craving a serious sandwich, go to Americano. The portions are massive, the ingredients taste fresh, and the flavors are on point. Staff was welcoming and quick, and the vibe is fun and old-school in the best way. Highly recommend for lunch or takeout.

i'm not certain if this place has new owners, but last time we went, got the spaghetti, what a disappointment. The cheese was hard and dried out, it was horrible. First time was a sandwich and was pretty good. but will not be back . price went up quality and service way down. Good Luck.

Americano in Livermore is a must-visit. The Mr. Fred pastrami is stacked and flavorful, and the Godfather & Mob sauces take everything to the next level. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and friendly service—even when busy. Easily one of the best sandwich spots in the East Bay. Highly recommend!

I finally tried the "Friday I’m In Love" at Americano and it lived up to every bit of the hype. The combination of pastrami and turkey was perfectly balanced, and the Godfather sauce (their legendary garlic-herb spread) adds such a unique, rich flavor. The Americano slaw gave it a nice crunch that cut through the richness of the meat. It’s a huge sandwich definitely enough for two meals!"

After a business meeting we looked up a place to get lunch.(Not from the area,) We split the King Kong sandwich. Good thing we split it. Its a very large sandwich. Very, very tasty. One that will be remembered. If your in the area definitely stop by. They'res a litvon the menu to choice from.

This is THE place for sandwiches. We’ve tried their other food items but they were really disappointing, so tried their sandwiches and we’ve never looked back. They are loaded with meats and delicious ingredients and are huge. They are a little pricey but completely worth it. Their sourdough bread is *chefs kiss* they add godfather sauce to everything so I normally don’t get it because it makes the sandwich soggy and their coleslaw could use a revamp. The onion rings are made in house and are always crunchy and delicious. The restaurant always has a weird smell so we get our sandwiches to go. The interior is very in your face “Italian” and all the decor is dusty and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since they opened.The guy that sometimes answers the phone is a little rude but you can be rude all you want as long as you keep making these amazing sandwiches.

Not gonna mess around with this review. This was simply one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Driving through Livermore looking for a good sandwich, and yelp recommendations came through for me! This place (obviously) has great reviews so I decided to go. And it certainly meets the hype The staff was very friendly--I let them know it's my first time there so I needed a bit of time to look over the menu--and they were very helpful letting me know the options. I got the Friday I'm In Love and it was amazing. Great size, absolutely packed with meat, amazing flavor. This was a 10/10. The garlic spread was delicious, the slaw was seasoned very well, and everything was very fresh and flavorful. Dutch crunch also had great texture. My only possible complaint was that the meat wasn't very evenly distributed as you can see in the pic, but that's a very minor complaint. To reiterate, this was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Unfortunately I'm not very close to Livermore, but anytime I'm close by in the future, I absolutely want to stop by again. I highly, highly recommend this place for a sandwich!

You know how bread makes or breaks a sandwich? It was a total miss here. The sourdough was so soggy and lacked sourness so it was really bland. Initially I thought maybe the bread was soggy because of my very loaded Californian sandwich, but we ordered another sandwich that didn't come with slaw or cheese and removed sauce, and even THAT one was still soggy. I even tried retoasting the bread but to no avail because it still tasted far from sourdough. Really wanted to like this place and support a local business. I had high expectations for the quality given the prices and ratings. I'll give it to them that they use quality deli meat and have a fun menu with homemade sauces, hopefully they can continue to improve. One thing to note is you can't sub for a different sauce. PASS: + Californian ($18.25, 2/5 stars) felt very overwhelming to me with flavors mixing from the heavily vinegared slaw, Swiss, and garlic herb sauce

Solid sandwich shop in Livermore - we stopped by earlier this month after going paddle boarding nearby at Shadow Cliffs. We were seated right away, but they were understaffed and it took them a long time to take our order. When the server finally stopped by, we ordered drinks, appetizers and a few sandwiches, which arrived soon after. Our favorites: - The Americano: superb classic Italian sandwich. - Philly Cheesesteak: our teen enjoyed this. - BLTA: get this on Dutch Crunch! The appetizers (jalapeño poppers, arancini) and sides (onion rings, fries) were either under or overdone, but the sandwiches more than made up for it. Doing takeout next time.

First time here. Came before 1pm and it was slow day I guess. The restaurant has a "I'm at home" vibes. It's cute. I came to get a sandwich. I got the Mr. Fred sandwich which has Pastrami, imported Swiss, Godfather Sauce, and slaw on sourdough bread. There was lettuce and tomatoes as well. Okay first bite.....The bread was too hard for me. The meat was cut thin and it tasted good, but that Sourdough bread was not the right combination. One of the workers there I asked if they had softer bread and he said the sweet or wheat roll. I asked how they would order it and they said, I don't eat sandwiches?! Okay? Anyways I'll still come back and try other items because some of their food looks good. I would get the sandwich again on a sweet roll since it's softer maybe have them warm the bread and no lettuce or tomatoes. Maybe extra godfather sauce, but that's extra. So for now it was okay....Oh! The onion rings were good tho!

Is it worth the $$$? Not to me. The sandwich was just ok. I had the King Kong, Hubby had the chicken parmesan with a lemonade and a side of fries, our total was $55. The fries were tasty. If it had been a huge sandwich, busting with ingredients,tasty, not thrown together and big enough to share....maybe. Perhaps their italian dishes are great, but I won't be finding out. Service was good..but the bathroom had a horrible smell, like sewage.

We love Americano! The sandwiches are amazing and big enough for us to share. If you like garlic, you have to have the garlic fries.

We were out in Livermore shopping at the outlets and wanted to grab some dinner. Italian was the theme and Americano was the choice. I chose Americano because of it won an award with the SJ Mercury. What I didn't realize was it won for their sandwiches. LOL. What do you do when it's dinner time and you go to a place known for its sandwiches? Order pasta. And if you haven't had pasta at Americano, you should!!!! The tetrazzini was fantastic. It is a baked dish with chicken, cheese and fettuccine. Just a delicious combo. The portion is large so deintiely shareable with two people. We also had the Rigatoni Bolognese (also a shareable portion). The bolognese was touted as homemade and you could tell. Bolognese is really about the time you give for the meats, tomato sauce and herbs meld together. And I can tell this one wa made with care. The place itself is mall with maybe a capacity max of 30-40. There was one server last night and she was busy. This place has nonstop sandwich orders to go. There was a constantly folks coming for food deliveries and to go orders. Our order took a little time but I could tell both pasta dishes were made to order, so I didn't mind. The sit down ambiance was very relaxed and homey in style. It's too bad Americano is all the way in Livermore, I'd deintiely want to try their sandwiches.

Came for lunch with coworkers and was not disappointed! Had the meatball sub on Dutch crunch and it was MASSIVE, and awesome Tiramisu too - just bummed they didn't have ice coffee to go along with it. Alexi was super friendly and provided amazing service. Will definitely be back, and probably cater some office lunches from them too!

I ordered Americano through DoorDash and it was a total hit. I got the meatball sandwich on Dutch crunch bread with garlic fries, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. The meatball sandwich was awesome tender, flavorful meatballs, rich marinara, and that Dutch crunch bread that somehow stayed perfectly textured even through delivery. Great balance, great flavor. The garlic fries were just as impressive. Super crispy, loaded with garlic, and still warm when they arrived. Easily some of the best delivered fries I've had. For a delivery meal, this was toptier. Americano really delivers (literally). I'd definitely order from them again.

I truly dislike having to write this, but today's visit was by far the most disappointing experience I've had at Americano. While their new kiosk design is sleek and modern, it shouldn't come at the cost of attentive service--I felt entirely overlooked. I've been here before, and although the sandwich construction was never stellar, today was a low point. I ordered the Tiger Woods sandwich and paid an extra $4 to add avocado. What I received looked like it had been carelessly assembled: the sandwich was sloppily cut, spilling out most of the ingredients immediately. The bacon was barely cooked--fatty and limp when it should've been crisp--and the avocado? I'm guessing they added a quarter slice at best. It was nearly absent. The entire experience made it feel like there was zero pride in the food's preparation, no care or thought put into it. When a business claims to make the "Best sandwiches in the Bay Area," they ought to stand by that promise. Sadly, this wasn't anywhere close. I sincerely hope the team takes this feedback to heart. Simple attention to detail--better cutting, properly cooked ingredients, and thoughtful service--can make all the difference.

Niko was a great waitress! She accommodated my extreme thirst after working outside in the hotel sun all day with plenty of water and iced tea refills! There was hardly anyone else in there when I ate so occasionally we chatted a bit too which was nice. I ordered something similar to an Italian sandwich with crunch bread and it was very good -- the looks were deceiving because I was so full after eating half! The interior feels a little dated, but so many good Italian places are like that to keep the original charm. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area!

Small little place inside a shopping center. They have about 6-8 tables but I came by for a pick up. I decided to go with the Tiger Woods, hear me when I say this sandwich was delicious!! The texture of the Dutch crunch with the sauce and all the meats made this sandwich just taste amazing!! Okay so here's the only small things that didn't give it 5 stars. I order a small side of garlic fries and they were just okay nothing too impressive. Feel like it didn't have enough salt or garlic plus it didn't came with any sauce or even ketchup. The sandwiches are also pretty big which is amazing but kinda messy and didn't get any utensils or napkins. Other than that food was great, staff was amazing and the vibe is just really good here. Definitely coming back to get another sandwich and try more Items.

Worst sandwiches I've ever eaten, and they're way, way too proud of them. I ordered their BLTA- shows up with greasy, hot bacon- So much grease it soaked through the wrap- a half an avocado- uncut- and was just absolutely awful. Every time I give them another chance it's not just a disappointment but inedible. And it was $90 for TWO SANDWICHES and a side of fries. Never again.

My husband and I love going to Americano! The Food is absolutely fantastic! They have there famous Americano Sandwiches and many more to choose from! The Service is great! Very kind staff! The Ambiance is stunning! Feels like a family home when you walk in! We love the next renovated aesthetics!

Stacy the server has the hospitality on point, the guy in back w gold chain seems to have a major attitude typical toxic masculinity I assume...even after I said how delicious and smiling and great experience he jus didn't respond at all. Either someone died or he doesn't like me. No idea just that was not the vibes. I spent 40 with tip and taking home half sandwich bread will probably be soggy by the time I get somewhere and have the appetite for the rest. I had chicken parm sandwich, fries & pellengrino ...so happy I did not eat on road very messy chicken parm it came out in a bowl I had to ask for utensils and napkin and a plate .... it was delicious. The picture is after I tried to pick it up so it was really weird to try and eat it in a bowl... Stacy was a delight but the other guy took away my 5 star experience. Womp womp... I am all about vibes. And I love returning places that got vibes don't think I ll stop in Livermore again. Just not feeling it and I am from NYC and LA and SF and this was not close to freeway. I am a lil bit irritated from his energy just saying. I am in hospitality and we treat people with smiles and hospitality, if there paying fancy food prices maybe care a little more. I've enjoyed lunch at Americano, with good food and service. Dinner last night was an entirely different experience. There was no waitress when we arrived. After a couple of minutes we seated ourselves. After a couple more minutes we looked around and found mens and placed an order using their optional digital system. The first time we saw a waitress was when she delivered our food to an empty table with no utensils or water. They were out of the wine we ordered. After several minutes they presented two alternative wines that were not on their wine lists and not wineries we were familiar with. The food was not hot when it was delivered and was only warm by the time we got our wine.

Wow! Loved this whole in the wall Italian spot. I got the tiger woods sandwich and it had everything I love. Ham, turkey , bacon, cheddar and their "MOB" sauce. That was amazing. Their garlic sauce was very tasty too and was able to add that to my sandwich. Customers service was also great. I would say that is very rare these days to go to a restaurant and there be great service. Really appreciated that. Go and check them out you won't be disappointed!

This Is the best thing i have ever had i come here all the time! took my wife she loves it! took the whole family for my dads 60th They loved it its the best in the west loots of food i know its 20$ but feeds two or food for the next day! Wish i came more!

I'm not sure what happened here-- new manager? New business model? But whatever the change was, it ruined what was a great restaurant. This used to be a favorite restaurant, and one of the only places I would go to for a sandwich. The portions were massive and price was elevated, but fair considering how much food you get. The last couple visits were odd and disappointing, and prices notably were higher (as the popularity was notably declined, too). The food has been so bad, I have left it barely eaten twice now... And an entree is now over $30 (but tastes closer to $12). You will be the only customer on a peak night, so the ambiance is awkward. When my check came, my waiter (who I assume was also the manager), handed me a card with a QR code to leave him a 5 star Yelp review.... As he stood there and watched me to ensure I wrote the great review (I didn't, and here is my one star proof!). Unfortunately, I'll never be back. The bad taste lingering in my mouth was from more than just the food...

This place USED, to be the greatest place in town. I dont know what happened, but its bad now. The sandwhiches are not as big, there are less than half the choices. The staff does not help, and they force a kiosk now, and instead of being helpful, you can wait more than ten minutes for "them" to complete a to-go order. It sucks to be stepped on so hard by, what was, a great place. It WAS (THE) livermore sanwhich shop. Now its almost a shadow and it has nearly ruined the place. At least, the clown theme is gone. Sandwiches are still decent though.

I used to love this place, their sandwiches are delicious but I'm so disappointed in them. Their prices are crazy expensive but worth it every once in awhile. However this last experience I ordered onion rings and once I got home found out there was no onion in them. When I called to get it figured out the (I think owner) said there was nothing he could do since I ordered online, through their website, not an external source! There is no where on the website for customer service. I really want to support the mom and pop business but find it really hard when they don't accommodate you for their mistakes.

What a disappointment tonight was here at Americano. My husband and I arrived at 5:30 to a completely empty restaurant. This is never a good sign, and we soon found out why no one else was eating here. For the hour I occupied the restaurant, only two other customers came in for to go orders. I ordered chicken parmesaen (again) because last time I ordered it about a year ago, it was so delicious. This time, the chicken was so tough I could not cut it. It was TERRIBLE. This dish costs $29.50, it should never NOT be edible. My husband ordered lasagna. A few bites in and he says "want to see something strange?" The entire dish was layered in this order; sauce, some meat and cheese, covered by about 6 noodles stacked on top of each other. Now normally when you get lasagna, you put the noodles in between the sauce and cheeses, but not here. He did not finish his dish because it was plain pasta noodles stacked together. I did not finish my dish because it was INEDIBLE. The server comes by, and he did offer me lasagna in place of the chicken parm, but after seeing the lasagna my husband had, I declined. The check arrives, and he charges us full price for both entrees. When we questioned him why he would charge us full price, he states that he has no way to change it in the computer and that the owner would have to do it, but he can't contact him. So the guy in charge has no way to rectify the situation and now we are paying for food that we could not eat. That does not equal happy or satisfied customers. I paid over $66 for food that was terrible and now I have to say DO NOT COME HERE unless you want overpriced food that you can not eat. What a shame.

Sadly the sandwiches are not the same as they used to be, but the prices are the same. The quality of the meat and bread has gone down as well as the portions and sizes. We used to be ok paying the higher price for their sandwiches because the quality was excellent. Now it is definitely not worth the price. No idea if there's been a change in ownership or something.

I'm not sure how or why this place got such good reviews. The service, while friendly, was very slow- we waited about 45 minutes for two dishes and a bottle of wine. I could have made it faster. The food itself was good, but again, not worth the wait. Portions were also somewhat small for the price that I paid. Cannot recommend, unfortunately.

What a terrible experience. Firstly the whole customer service, the person doesn't even know how to treat customers well. Secondly, price 20$ for a stupid sandwich is ridiculous plus 3$ for a pop of coke. Lastly, sandwich itself, it's greacy with no taste at all. Never ever going again, save yourself a trip and insane amount of money.

4th time here, mainly for the Americano sandwich. Have had dinner here too. Chicken Parmesan. They were out of my beer choice, I did an alternate also good. Order at the kiosk just okay, not personable. Cute dinning room with nice decor.

This is a very unique restaurant with a different Ambiance. The food is good with no shortage of cheese :-) and the Service is okay. However the pricing is very much off. A sandwich for over $20 ?? Wow.

I was told by two different people, in another city, to go to Americano for the best sub sandwich around. So I had to run over to try one. Here are a couple of money saving tips: A Yelp check-in is worth 10% off on your first visit. Signing up for their email updates on their website is $5 off of $35. I went for the KING KONG ($18.95) Roast beef, turkey, ham, provolone, jalapeño poppers, Godfather sauce, Mob sauce, avocado, slaw. Now, don't let the price scare you. This sandwich is bigger than you'd expect. The roll is about the same size as you'd get from Ike's or Togo's or Mr Pickles. However, the fillings are piled on. Sorry, I didn't get a photo. See the photos from other Yelpers. How can I describe this? First of all, who puts jalapeño poppers on a sandwich? Americano does! And they are wonderful! When I first bit into one, I wondered, "What is that?" I forgot that jalapeño poppers were listed on the menu description. But then, I really enjoyed it. They are not hot at all, just delightfully flavorful. Let's move on. They have 2 kinds of sauces. I saw Godfather sauce and Mob sauce on the menu. I don't know what they are, but they put both on the King Kong sandwich. One of them definitely has garlic. When I warmed up the leftover part the next day, I could smell the garlic and it made me even hungrier. Besides 3 kinds of meat, there is a generous amount of provolone cheese. It was thick and oozing out both sides of the sandwich. I told you that the sandwich is big, right? I was filled up by eating just half the sandwich. I wanted to share the other half with my other half. I took it home and she couldn't eat it right away. It went in the fridge overnight. The next day, we warmed it up in the air fryer and divided the half sandwich between us. A quarter sandwich was still a decent sized snack! Then I remembered that one of my friends told me that the sandwich is big enough to share. They have more than sandwiches there. Next time I go in, I'm taking the family along to try the Italian entrees. Some last comments about the business. I think Vanessa was the one who took my order. Even though the place was filled with a soccer team, she was still one her toes, polite, and friendly to everyone. The decor is cute and kitschy. It gives you a lot to look at and makes you feel welcomed. I spent my wait time using Google Translate to figure out what all the Italian words on the artwork meant. There was also music in Italian playing. Overall, a great experience even though I only bought a sandwich! This place definitely deserves a revisit.

It's a lil spot like a small cafe in Italy, quaint n quiet. The menu covers most of the usual suspects of the Italian bad guys from Lasagna and Tetrazzini to Calamari and Sammies! Beer n wine are the sidekicks along with some desserts. If the line backs up, you can order via the QR code to bypass the wait. We noshed on the Americano sando although it's an Italian combo? Should be called the Italiano? Combo with the garlic fries (plenty garlic!) Garlic cheeesy bread and Calamari (tender n tasty) with a Peroni beer (when in Rome..) to wash it all down. Overall a great lunch and a staycation if you imagine it. Mangia!

Americano in Livermore is hands down one of the best local gems around. The food is absolutely delicious, especially their sandwiches, which are huge, fresh, and packed with flavor. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, a perfect place to grab a meal without the downtown rush. Prices are fair for the portion sizes (you'll probably have leftovers), and everything comes out fresh and fast. If you're looking for a great lunch spot or a casual dinner that hits the spot every time, Americano is the place. Highly recommend the sandwiches BECAUSE they're some of the best you'll find in the Bay Area.

We stopped in for lunch and had the King Kong and Southern Belle. Both sandwiches were amazing, as well as the fries and onions rings. Natalie was a great server; very polite and friendly. We'll definitely be back again!

Food and service was great, but we ordered too much, thinking that portions would be regular or more like personal size but the staff didn't even bother to tell us we ordered way too much.. i just wish she would tell customers if portions were big and enough especially if you're with little kids. Our order was like good for 6-7 adults. Ambiance was okay.

I brought a group of 14 clients to have lunch there, there was a total of 17 of us. I think we overwhelmed the location, but they made it work. Alexi was awesome! The music was up beat and fun. The ambiance was Italy 50's 60's hole in wall catering to American visitors. Would go again but with less people. A smaller group would be ideal so not to ruin thier lunch service for other customers.

Don't get me wrong, this place is great. The food is really good. This review is based on my first catering order. I ordered an XL & M sandwich box which was $309 and $20 tip. Ordering online was super easy. They even let me pick up the sandwiches early before they opened which was super convenient. The only issue I had is ordering that many sandwiches they put them in a thin cardboard box. That thin box didn't travel well and you couldn't tell which sandwiches were which. They weren't labeled and a lot of people despite me making a handwritten menu, didn't know the difference between the sandwiches. On the website it shows the sandwiches in an aluminum tray but the sandwiches I received were in a thin, pastry box. It could have been packaged better so I was disappointed this was my first time catering.

Cute little Italian restaurant that serves super huge , delicious sandwiches! Visited Pleasanton site last week and ordered to share: arancini, chicken pesto sandwich, garlic fries and Chardonnay. (recommend to order red sauce for arancini on side if you plan to take home) What an unexpected, pleasant surprise. We were greeted by Alexis who was very welcoming; he happily described the sandwich selection and chatted with us. Although small inside, it is cozy and on the retro side with one large red table in the middle (seats 8-10) and a sprinkling of 4 tops around it. (Red, black & white color scheme) There are about 5-6 outside tables, as well. A pictures of Dean Martin and the "Don" adorn the walls as Italian music adds to its charming ambience. Prices are not cheap here, but you get great quality and quantity. There was a steady flow of "to go" orders.

I'm sorry to have to say we ordered the Rigatoni and the chicken Parmesan pasta dishes. I had the chicken parm a year or so ago and it was excellent, but today, both our dishes were so bad we couldn't eat it. Very mushy noodles, sauce just didn't taste right at all. The soda was in a can, no cups, no ice. $75 for food we couldn't eat and had to go find somewhere else to buy food we could actually eat. We will never be back there again and just felt this was information I should share.

Terrible meatball sandwich period. What makes is terrible? The meatball taste like it's been sitting in the bottom of pot, overcooked and dry. The sauce was not traditional red tomato sauce (Roma) instead it was like a orange color mayo/vodka style sauce that had no flavor or passion from the kitchen. The sweet bread was dust as it was sitting for days hence like a saltine cracker. For a $20 sub... it's trash.

So let's just go ahead and start with $50 for two sandwiches? I mean come on, the sandwiches didn't even come with any extras. No fries, no drink, no appetizer, no salad. Honestly the sandwich itself was "just okay". I equated it to a grocery store sandwich in style and in flavor. The service was good, friendly service with a smile. The young lady serving our table was pleasant and attentive. After our experience, I can't say that I'm surprised that the place was empty when our group of four was there. I asked my three friends what they thought of the place, no one thought it was worth the price they're asking for the food. We came here based on the reviews, but we won't be returning as it seems more and more restaurants are serving mediocre food and charging exorbitant prices.

Ambiance is nice, but I'm doubtful any sandwich is worth $22.50 when you haven't even added anything extra to it. They have no honey mustard or dijon mustard, they have no barbecue sauce for the chicken, and both their house sauces are mayonnaise-based, so if you don't like mayonnaise, you're out of luck. Sandwich was made well, but flavors are not hitting, and the almost $23.00 price tag for just the sandwich is just not normal. You might get a pass if you had lots of sauces and customization choices. Go check out SUPER GRILL instead - teriyaki plates for $13.99 very close by, and you get rice with it!

Edit 7/30/25: Came today with my wife & daughter and our experience was not the best. The server was also the cook and he seemed to be rather flustered/busy when asked for basic things like plates and ketchup, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The sandwiches were decent but they seemed to be thrown together and very sloppy. He also overcharged for my daughter's plain spaghetti w/o meatballs, so I had to have him correct it which also took a little bit of time for him. Might have to avoid when he's working.

Service was terrific - Cami was super friendly and gave us great suggestions as it was our first visit. Best onion rings ever! Californian was delicious.

We have been to Americano two times. The first time we had a sandwich and Caprese. Today we had the caprese and rigatoni bolognese. They have a large sandwich menu. We need to try some of the other pastas and have a nice chat with the owner about their view of Italian food origins. I suspect they are trying for authentic Italian which is a good thing. The rigatoni bolognese was good but we are wondering what kind of meat it had. The meat sauce seemed a tad light. Our issue today was lack of internet connectivity. Their area has very bad cell coverage. They have wifi but when we have been there the guest WiFi was down. Server didn't know how to reset the guest WiFi. When we left I suggested he talk with the owner about it. Hopefully they get it fixed. Give them a try. It may become a great place for your Italian tastes.

We were traveling in California. I stumbled across Americano as a place I wanted to visit. I wasn't sure that we were going to make it in time before they closed - they do close a bit early in my opinion, but luckily we made it. It was busy, so service was a little slow. What we got: Chicken Tetrazzini - It was good (not great), nice and cheesy, but I felt like the sauce could have been more flavorful and thicker. Americano - fantastic flavorful sandwich. This was the win out of our two orders. Sandwiches, while expensive, are worth their value. I'd recommend Americano if you were in the area, but not a place I'd go out of the way for.

So disappointed in the sandwich I got. Soggy slaw that was almost mush, hardly any meat, and one huge chunk of avocado right in the middle and nowhere else
