Found this place by accident, and boy, we are glad we did. The atmosphere is beautiful. Service was top-notch. The menu variety was great. We will definitely be back to try so many options. It was busy on a Tuesday night, so be sure to make reservations if you come on a Friday or Saturday. This has seating for large or small parties, family friendly, and private rooms as well. If you like Italian food, give it a try.

The establishment is nice, and the service is always good. My group indulged in the artichoke dip with bread sticks as an appetizer, and I had the shrimp bisque as my main entree it is one of my favorites. Our server noticed our appetizer was running a little late and served us dessert on the house of our choice. Such a nice observation and gesture. Give this place a try if you have not already.

Popped in for an early lunch. The restaurant is a bit worn around the edges but clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had a couple pasta dishes that were hot and we'll made. Overall a positive experience.

Food wasn’t anything extraordinary- bread was a little dry and lasagna was soupy. It felt like it was missing meat and noodles. Waitress was ok, she was attentive to a food allergy in my party which I appreciate. Overall, a meh experience.

Google
It was a good chain restaurant, very familiar taste! I would come here if i wanted to eat italian food! Not bad food! I dont really know italian food so its unfair for me to judge it but i would recommend everyone to try here. Portion size are decent!

Google
Very nice Italian restaurant! I am not a huge Italian food guy but the food tasted good and well-seasoned (even the bread!). Our server was Levi and he was amazing! Drinks were always full, answered all our questions, didn’t ever feel like we had to wait on anything. 10/10! 🔥 Appetizer: Calamari Fritti - light, crispy, and the marinara and pesto sauce was unique and delicious Entree: Salmon Leo’s Pasta -light, delicious, and fulfilling Entree: Chicken Alfredo - “yummy” I’ll take my wife’s word on it. 👍😊 Dessert: Peanut butter blondie - rich, crunchy, and well-balanced with ice cream Reasonably priced as well. Definitely coming back! Bringing friends next time. 🥳

I don't normally take the time to review food places unless it's above and beyond, exceptional food/service. I have to say, I was a little skeptical when my boyfriend booked a reservation here for Xmas dinner, but wow! am I impressed. The server that we got, really made a huge difference in our experience. It was busy, but her personality, humor, and attentiveness to our table, really made the experience enjoyable! She had fabulous energy, even though you could tell she was juggling 15 different things at once. She handled it! Food was amazing. I wanted to give the server, Vicki a shout out, best server ever!! And I will def be back!

Amerigo Brentwood has been one of my favorite restaurants for a couple decades now. Always loved to sit in the bar in one of the booths. My all-time favorite bartender was Mary Beth, who has since retired. Becah is my newest favorite bartender. There for lunch to meet my son recently, she recommends this Hawaiian Pizza special. I was sure that wasn't for me, but she was persuasive. Well, she was right, it was delicious. I've been back to order it again from her. It typically includes chicken along with the traditional toppings of pineapple and cheese, providing a sweet and savory flavor combination. Thank you Becah!

Yelp
Some of the best Italian food around. There steaks as great as well. They have a different but flavorful twist on their lasagna. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I live out of state and wanted to order an anniversary dinner for my aunt and uncle in Franklin. I did a lot of research and restaurants that offered fine dining dinner options with good ratings and delivery service option was very limited. Finally found Amerigo Italian restaurant and had a wonderful experience working with Brett, the manager. He answered all my questions over the phone and offered recommendations (prior to placing the order online) and on the day of delivery confirmed everything was as planned and going smooth. Food was delivered exactly on time and hot: shrimp scampi, lasagna, chicken piccata, cannelloni, Caesar salad, tiramisu. My aunt sent me a message thanking me for the dinner and raved about the food. She liked it so much that she asked which restaurant it was from so that they could go visit in person. Brett, thank you for helping me coordinate this order and the great experience for the recipients.

Yelp
I dined at Amerigo Italian Restaurant on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 7:30 pm. There was a slight wait for a table of 4 at this time and day. As far as Italian chain restaurants go, I thought this restaurant was in the middle of a pack. Better than Olive Garden for sure, but not as good as Maggiano's. The restaurant was a bit dark with a good amount of ambient lighting around the restaurant. I ordered the Tuscan crab cakes appetizer, the gemelli sausage pasta, and a slice of key lime pie. The crab cakes were decent and had a decent amount of crab. The pasta vodka sauce was salty. I think I must've chugged 2 glassfuls of water while eating the pasta. The key lime pie was kinda disappointing because I didn't taste that much lime. It tasted like a cheesecake with a very faint hint of lime. I didn't really care for the chocolate sauce in the tiramisu, since I thought it overwhelmed the coffee essence of the tiramisu. Overall, the portions of every dish are pretty large, and the price is good for the worth. Service was good - attentive and professional. Our serve helped answered questions about the menu and gave good recommendations.

Yelp
I dined at Amerigo on October 13, 2024, at 7 PM, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in the charming Brentwood area, the restaurant offers ample parking, which is a plus. Although the place was bustling, I decided to walk in without a reservation and only waited about 10 minutes before being seated at a table for four. Once seated, our server promptly took our drink and appetizer orders. I opted for the Tuscan crab cake, which was truly delicious--served over a bed of mixed greens and accompanied by a warm white bean salsa. While the crab cake itself was fantastic, I found the warm white bean salsa a bit overwhelming for my taste. For my entrée, I chose the spaghetti, which was flavorful but slightly on the salty side. It came with a juicy meatball that was quite tasty. Complimentary bread and oil were served, though I found the bread a tad dry. Overall, I loved the ambiance of Amerigo. The menu features a variety of options to cater to different palates. Despite a couple of dishes being on the salty side, I believe it's a great spot to dine. I definitely plan to return to explore more of the menu. The service was attentive and friendly, which added to the positive experience.

Yelp
We are frequent fliers at Amerigos, there is easy access from I 65, parking is a breeze, the service is always excellent and we have never had a bad meal! We have tried everything from steaks to salads, to pasta, to dessert, all things we have tried are fantastic, thank you Amerigos!

Teresa F.

Yelp
From fantastic friendly bartenders making smooth cocktails to dessert and coffee- this place is solid. Fair prices. Lots of options for vegetarian, gluten free, and picky eaters. Chicken Piccata was the best we've ever had- they add lump crabmeat! The only miss for us was the lasagna. Calamari, tortellini, and giant salad of goat cheese and walnuts were good choices. I want to come back for the salmon and gemini with sausage. The ambience is old school Italian with nice lighting.

Mi M.

Yelp
Had Shrimp Scampi for supper. The Shrimp were not done and the sauce tasted like fish water. No depth of flavor and bland. Waitress was kind but inattentive . Had to ask another waitress for a spoon and she was bothered by the look on her face. Was expecting a better experience at a well reviewed restaurant.

Linda B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, good food and service. I would recommend this restaurant and we will be returning!

Pat G.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was phenomenal. Enjoyed the bar and the bartender was exceptionally good.

Yelp
We had a reservation on Open Table for dinner but changed it to lunchtime because we were attending a concert at nearby First Bank Amphitheater and wanted to be sure we had plenty of time. We were seated in a booth beside the bar which was fine but it's very dark, so much so that you need to use the flashlight in your phone to even read the menu. The lunch menu was small but we found a couple of interesting options. The waitress brought us bread with oil. It was just ok. I ordered a glass of house wine and then chicken Marsala. I found the chicken to be chewy. The sauce was bland and very little fettuccini was included. It was a lunch portion but still disappointing. My husband ordered the porchetta and it came with waxy green beans and delicious mashed potatoes. Total bill was $64

Yelp
Eating with friends this evening, the food was very good. Three of us had the grilled special, which was redfish, couscous and grilled asparagus. It was very good, and the portions were just perfect. The waiter was a little much because in every sentence, he called us "friends". Just a little overboard, but he was efficient with his responsibilities. I'll be back.

Yelp
Okay! Despite it being a chain, I loved this dining experience. Inside is clean & upscale; plus we came here for dinner a few days after Thanksgiving and so they already had some Christmas decor up. It was very tastefully done, and the orchestra-backed Christmas music in the background made it feel very welcoming. Our server was lovely and extremely professional (he didn't mind running back and forth three separate times for our drink orders!), and everything came out quickly. The house Cabqas a little sweet, but good, and the bread was fabulous. It was very doughy and flavored with rosemary, which felt very fitting for the time of year. They bring oil with seasoning to your table to dip it in. My appetizer and entree were both off their Seasonal Menu. I loved both, my Coffey Butternut Squash Soup & the Caramelized Salmon. The flavors in my entree were stellar; it helps that it was all my favorite things (salmon, sweet potato, kale, onions, roasted tomatoes & more). The 5oz was just enough with the soup to stuff me to the brim!

Yelp
2nd time there in 3 weeks. Great food, service, reasonable prices. Lost my hearing aid. Called the restaurant and asked for help finding it. The hostess went to my table search for it and found it on the floor under the table. Way above and beyond.

Tisha T.

Yelp
I love Amerigo first and foremost! However, it appears that a lot of restaurants (with regard to Parmesan/alfredo cream sauce) have changed the recipe or have stopped making in house! I ordered a dish that I love from Amerigo, Fettuccine Imperial, the sauce was watery and flavorless. if there was one thing has stopped me from ordering pasta outside of home it's the terrible unspoke of trend of nasty pasta cream sauce/alfredo sauce. Another one bites the dust! Everything else (service/customer service) was excellent as usual. Very disappointed in my order of Fettuccine Imperial 2 out of 10

Lauren M.

Yelp
My husband has the chicken Tuscany and he really liked it. had the pasta carbonara, it was pretty good but I've certainly had better. I think if they used a more traditional Italian meat (guanciale or pancetta) instead of regular ham it would've been great. They didn't seem busy the night we went, but they seemed understaffed. The service was still satisfactory. The kitchen manager was pretty loud and hard to ignore him screaming about hands the whole meal.

Sunshine D.

Yelp
The service here was not great- it has not been good for the last several visits. Food was just ok Restrooms were dirty, smelly and out of both toilet paper and paper towels. I reported it to the host and he said perfect ‍ sad

Yelp
After my first time doing Indoor Computer Golf with a very longtime friend from my Los Angeles days we we're meeting his wife for lunch. He picked a very nice Italian restaurant here in the Brentwood section just south of Nashville. Amerigo was this lovely place that fit our purpose for this lunch; to talk and catch up on our life's. The acoustics were perfect for us "Mature" (like my adjective) folks. We settled into our booth, each of us ordered a Caesar salad and a margarita pizza for the table. Then the gab fest started. It was so nice being with these people I've known for decades. It was like a breath of fresh air. May I add, the food here was pretty damn good also. My Caesar was excellent. Our pizza was also very good. I enjoyed my morning / afternoon very very much. Amerigo was a splendid backdrop for good friends visiting and reminiscing!

Yelp
On first impression the restaurant was very dark inside: dark wood, low lighting. We were seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon, so that was a plus. We received complimentary bread, which was very dense and served with olive oil. The calamari appetizer was good, and we enjoyed a Caesar salad and entrees of gemelli pasta and lasagna. Service was average, price for the meal was on the expensive side with our bill coming to around $60. Overall, we had a good experience at Amerigo, but we won't be in a hurry to return as there are a few more affordable options for Italian food that we also enjoy.

Angel C.

Yelp
Excellent, all the way around. If you can get there for happy hour, great prices great food .otherwise it's all worth the money . The bartender was fantastic.. everyone was so friendly. I would return.

Bob E.

Yelp
I've driven by this restaurant for years and tonight had the opportunity to attend a party at Amerigo and the food was excellent. My wife and I both had the chicken Tuscany and it was exceptional. Others in the party all commented on how they enjoyed their entrees. We will definitely be back.

Tim O.

Yelp
We stopped in without reservations on a cold evening and were able to sit in the bar. The ambiance was fine. The server was prompt and friendly, although I didn't get the sense that she loved being there. Regardless, she took good care of us. The pizza was solid, one all meat and one pepperoni. The spaghetti was typical of what you'd find just about anywhere else. Calimari was very good. The prices were a bit higher than what the food quality supported, but this was a good stop near downtown.

Lisa T.

Yelp
Today's to go order arrived prompt, and with a smiling face! Tried the Seabass with leek mashed potatoes, and Juliannef mixed vegetables for a very yummy early dinner. Amerigo's food is always top-notch and definitely worth repeating. Their to go service is comparable. I would have Attached a photo had it not been eaten so quickly!

Paul H.

Yelp
Very disappointed in this restaurant... We frequently dine at Italian restaurants and the food at Amerigo is just not any good. Mussels were fishy, shrimp dishes were undercooked (and salty). Bolognese was cold. Even the bread was average. Not going back...

Moody M.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing. The service was perfect! The whole place reminded me of an old Italian restaurant we went to during my childhood in Spain. We had a blast at Amerigo! We went here because we were told they could provide worry free gluten free grub. Some of my family have Celiac. So, when we learned about an Italian place that has gf bread, pizza, pasta and dessert... we made a beeline to Cool Springs! When we entered the restaurant, I blurted out, "This place is sweet!" One of the managers heard me, and welcomed us right in. Geoff asked me, "Is this your first visit with us?" I nodded approvingly. I told him Amerigo was recommended by our gluten free community on Facebook. He quickly assured me that the rumors were true, and they would be happy to accommodate our dietary needs! Then he ran off to set the table for us. The whole feel of the restaurant is inviting. Everyone there was clearly enjoying their visit, and yet the noise level was enjoyable. Every seat looked comfortable; especially ours! The gluten free bread is their gf pizza dough. My wife and kid loved it. The rest of us had the gluteny stuff. It didn't take too long for the entrées to arrive. My wife loves pasta carbonara, and Amerigo nailed it! My kid went with the imperial fettuccine, which was actually gf spaghetti because that's the gf pasta that's avail. Both of them happily devoured their gf pasta dishes. Our server, Jasmine, was delightfully personable and humorous. It's always fun when people share their personality while you are there. It just makes the whole experience memorable! When the food came out, several servers approached our table gently laying each dish in front of each patron at the same time. I just love when that happens. It adds an unexpected, welcome dash of style to the whole experience! I went with the Veal Piccata over angel hair pasta. The dish even had sizable portions of jumbo lump crab meat. The white wine lemon butter sauce was simply divine. I saw so many options on the menu that I wanted to try, but it had been decades since I have had veal. That made the piccata a perfect first choice for me. The meat was tender, and the portion was surprisingly generous. The pasta was delicate while bursting with robust flavor. Each bite was a pleasure to put together. A little bit of pasta wrapped around the fork, a little slice of the veal, and lastly a final scoop catching a portion of the crab meat. It became a fun game repeating this process. I enjoyed the perfect bite every time! When they ask you if you want to see the dessert menu, just say yes. The table ordered a few. None of the plates survived the barrage of spoons attacking them from all directions. The gluten free peanut butter blondie was topped with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream and covered in a rocky road ganache. My kid's face lit up when he realized that monster was what he ordered. The chocolate pecan fudge brownie won the richest dessert award. It also had a colossal scoop of vanilla ice cream atop of it as well as a Kahlúa chocolate sauce. Hands down, this one won over my tongue's heart. I only took one bite of it, and that was truly enough. It was perfect in every way. Then the key lime pie made its entrance. If key lime pie is on the menu, I always have to try it. The succulent creamy filling was a perfect mixture of tart and sweet resting comfortably atop a thick graham cracker crust. This concoction was incredibly delicious. I can't remember the last time I was taken back by this dish at another restaurant. As far as I am concerned, it wins the best one out there! We will return. Oh yes. That will happen! We had so much fun at Amerigo that we lost track of time. We had been there for over two hours and enjoyed every minute!

Nicole T.

Yelp
So I've become a pasta lover over the past 2 years, and I can say this was easily one of my favorite pasta meals I've had. I ordered their curbside pickup and the food was ready in 20 minutes and I'm time. The food was well packaged and very generous portions. I ordered the Gemelli & Sausage and my boyfriend ordered the Fettuccine Imperial. Both were delicious. Now we want to go back and try more options from the menu. The only thing to note, was that they added a $5 gratuity to a takeout order. I thought that was interesting, but don't let that deter you from a good meal! Can't wait to order from here again!

Christy C.

Yelp
Went here for a work dinner for the first time. It reminded me of Maggianos with its dark wood Italian theme. It is very dark in the bar and I like the vibe but it was hard to see the menus. I'm on my 40's but not that old! We ordered the artichoke dip which was good. I'd give it a 4/5 and would have preferred softer bread to go with the dip. It had a nice depth of flavor and was plenty cheesy. My main dish was the bolognese which was a standout. The waiter highly recommended it and I could see why. It was rich but not too heavy, meaty and just perfection. Perfectly cooked pasta. I could eat it every day! My buddy had the chicken piccata and my only wish is that the chicken had some kind of a sear on it. The way it was cooked didn't give you any yummy texture, just kind of sub par cooked chicken. The piccata sauce was nice and was served with Angel hair. We skipped dessert but each had a cocktail. I would like to come back and try the fettuccine or the chicken parm! I think it's solid and could use a few tweaks but the service was great.

John O.

Yelp
This establishment has been our go to spot for 21 years and it still works great. The food is consistently good, the service is always great and it is more like a local spot than a food joint off the highway. Thumbs up to our server Collin who made our dining experience special for my daughters birthday. We will always refer our friends and we will return.

Barbie B.

Yelp
Fantastic food , Great attention to detail, Friendly staff. Wonderful Ambiance. We Always ask for Chris at the Brentwood location, hes such a wonderful caring person I highly recommend this place for anyone. It's more Adult oriented in my opinion.

Willie W.

Yelp
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday Great brunch menu Great service We had a great experience with Wendy our server They have expanded the brunch menu The salmon Cesar salad is a go to The crab cake Benedict was the best Bon Appetite

Kristi C.

Yelp
I've eaten here several times and i always get Consistently excellent food and service! One of my favorites!

Brian P.

Yelp
Tried to get a table for 3 at 5:30 with about 20 open tables and a kid hosting who looked frantic turned us away and said he didn't have any tables. I would suggest the manager be there helping the guy as he just lost a potential customer forever.

Rachel G.

Yelp
We needed a place to be tucked away for a work meeting. This was the perfect spot. I love how when you walk in it almost like walking back in time. I wasn't sure what to expect. But reasonably priced for a 3 course! The salad was good. The Chicken Acuto was delicious and flavor packed. But the star of the show was the Tiramisu... I could take a bath in that chocolate! Cannot wait to go back and try something else yummy.

Kiki R.

Yelp
Food is great here for it to be a mid-range Italian restaurant. Perfect for kids, great deal on the happy hour house wine. It's a win!

Bradleigh D.

Yelp
Absolutely love it here! Stopped in a few times for lunch and would go back for a nice dinner. Always start with the bread and olive oil and usually go through more than one serving - so addicting! Tried the cheese artichoke dip this last time, it comes with crisps to eat off which is not my favorite so I probably wouldn't order again (but it's of course not bad). I've ordered a few different pasta dishes here and each time finish every bite the food is great. Even better than the main courses is the dessert. I don't always go for a dessert at lunch, but it's hard to come here and pass up dessert. The tiramisu specifically is incredible! On top of the great food, the service is so accommodating every time and extremely helpful and kind! The staff stands out here. Looking forward to coming back!

Dennis S.

Yelp
Amerigo feels like a friendly established neighborhood gathering place. Ate in a booth by the bar, which was crowded with folks who were clearly regulars. The overall vibe is a little dark, a bit smoky from the pizza oven, overall very comfortable and a bit upscale. Our wait person was a long time Amerigo employee, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We started with the crab cake appetizer, two large crab cakes on a bed of fresh spring greens with a pile of white bean salsa. Lots of flavors, a great starter, also made you feel like you're getting a nice bit of salad as well. The dinner entrees are quite large, really plenty for sharing. The fettuccine imperial was quite a pile of pasta in a thick and rich cream sauce, with lots of big slices of moist grilled chicken, quite good. Wife loved the chicken picatta, and after a few bites myself, I agree it was the better of the two dishes. Sadly we were way too stuffed to try the tiramisu. Next time we'll be smarter, split an entree, and include a dessert. One minor misstep was an order of espresso that was presented overflowing the little cup and tasting a lot more like a dark roast coffee than an espresso. Amerigo is certain to be in our regular rotation for fine dining.

Morgan M.

Yelp
It was mid Italian. Nice vibes but food wasn't special. Pizza had a weird flavor. I wouldn't recommend it over Carrabbas.

Jonathan D.

Yelp
The atmosphere is nice, pretty mellow and medium/low light. Service is good when you can great when you can get a table. Definitely make reservations. My wife had the pasta carbonara and I had the smoked chicken ravioli and they were both spectacular.

Joe W.

Yelp
Great ambiance and amazing food. Forgot the other places if you are looking for a nice night out. Good for family or romance.

Dave W.

Yelp
Excellent service and food! Very knowledgeable about food allergies. Wait and host staff took great care to ensure we enjoyed the meal.

Nikki D.

Yelp
Excellent Italian...chicken piccata, chicken Marsala, and tortellini were on point!!! Drinks were stellar and had a generous portion of alcohol, even though it was happy hour. The bartender (sorry don't know his name but he was bald) was AMAZING!! Chocolate brownie and peanut butter ice cream was literally the best!!!!

Leo D.

Yelp
The food was good and the service excellent. The pace of service was spot on. Everything came out to the table on the timeline of a top restaurant.

Karen B.

Yelp
Great service and even better food! I got the mushroom ravioli with a Caesar salad and the espresso martini... 0 complaints!!

Mary Kate E.

Yelp
I enjoy coming to Amerigo and have for a number of years. I went to the original location in Memphis and have frequented the West End location. This location is my preferred location above all of them. We come here for happy hour, dinner, and have been for lunch. Do not skimp on the dessert. Get their tiramisu or even their espresso martini. I think happy hour is probably the best deal you can get. The drinks are strong, the portions are sizeable, and I'd encourage anyone to split it between two people if they really want to get a good value. Happy hour is at the bar, and just order drinks then split food. You won't regret it. I think what I like the most is the atmosphere. Everyone treats you like you're worth a million bucks. I have come in here with yoga pants, and service was never compromised. It seems like the servers genuinely enjoy working here and it is not a persona they put on just for show. Parking is ample. You won't have an issue getting a space. Not much more to say about that. Anyway, it is a good Americanized Italian restaurant that gives you that fulfillment of delicious food with some good prices.

Carie L.

Yelp
This place was a great surprise. We chose this place because my husband LOVES spaghetti and meatballs. In fact, it is the only entree that he will order in any Italian restaurant. They served complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil and herbs that was nice. The sauce for his spaghetti was , "spot on" and his jumbo meatball was very meaty. I ordered the Thu special which was "porcheta". I have never tried this dish before, but I was in the mood to push my tastebuds. It turned out to be a great dish, as well. Our server was very friendly and I loved the ambiance of this old place. This is a place that we will definitely consider when we are back this way again.

Rachel L.

Yelp
Been to Amerigo a few times, but first time at this location. Love it! Great spot, easy parking, clean with friendly staff. I ordered the crab tortellini with spinach and a parmesan cream sauce. It was great! Fresh crab, very sweet that paired well with the heavier cream and pasta. Definitely not my favorite Italian spot, but a good option to have in the back pocket. My mom got the veal parm and it made her sick. Not sure what was up with that as I didn't try it, but aside from that... good spot.

Marie B.

Yelp
Post Covid = New Normal I am still hestitate to eat out but realize I can't live in fear forever and restaurants need our business to stay open. Dine-in only 50% capacity so there was a 35 min. wait on a Saturday afternoon. The hostess asked each person dining the Coronavirus questions, took a name and number, and sent a text when our table was ready. She also advised that we click the bar code to view the menu on our phones to decrease person to person contact with paper menus. We sat at a booth in the bar area, at least 6ft away from the next booth. Staff wore masks and gloves and continuously wiped down surface areas. I ordered an Apple Martini and I must admit that it was one of the best I have ever tasted. Our food tasted fresh, came out quick, and served hot. I am pleased to say that this restaurant is taking the necessary precautions to ensure that its patrons and staff are safe. I really appreciate it.

Yelp
Excellent spot for great Italian food! We came without a reservation on a Saturday early evening so we ended up sitting at the bar for our meal, but that was a big blessing given that the bartender was amazing and had excellent recommendations! We started with a small order of the cheese fritters and then I had the Gemelli pasta. All of the food was excellent - huge portions and great flavors. The Gemelli was a perfect level of spicy thanks to the Italian sausage. Service was fast and our bartender was a delight. Definitely give this spot a try if you are in the area! Definitely recommend a reservation if you can to ensure you have a spot.

While in town visiting from Memphis, I was excited to see an Amerigo near where I was staying. I love Amerigo in Memphis. I don't believe I will be back. My friend and I wanted something easy and quick so we both ordered salads with salmon. My salad arrIved and the salmon was raw. My friend's salad arrived and it was the wrong salad entirely. I had to get up to find our server. It took a long time to get our replacements. The second attempt: my salad arrived and the salmon was correct. However, now my friend's salad was prepared wrong and HER salmon was raw. The manager told my friend she ordered it wrong. She should have indicated how she wanted the salmon cooked. However, some time later the third time was the charm. There was an apology from our server (who was great), but no attempt to assure us this was a fluke or even to offer a discount or free dessert. Generally it was less than stellar experience. Thank goodness I like spending time with the friend I joined for dinner. Ciao, Amerigo!
