Amici Pizzeria

This is by far some of the best pizza we have had in a while. They have a proper pizza oven and the pizza was perfectly cooked. No flop. We will be back again for more soon. The stromboli was also very very good. They were super nice and quick to make our food fresh. This will be a our new go to spot for a fresh pizza.

On my own personal list, this is the best pizza in Norman. The crust is always perfect, the toppings are generous and it always comes cooked right where I like it. None of that underdone stuff or burnt bottoms. I’d even go so far as to call it the best in Cleveland County and in my Top 5 Oklahoma pizza places. Yes, it’s kind of on the edge of town right now - but it is well worth the extra mile.

I literally walked out the door and had to stop to write this review. From the moment you step inside, you can tell the owner takes incredible pride in his business. He’s genuinely kind, professional, and keeps the place spotless. I ordered three pizzas to go, and they were ready in about 15 minutes. When I was leaving, he even walked me to the door and held it open for me. I just took my first bite and WOW ☺️ absolutely delicious. The food is amazing, but the service alone will keep me coming back. 💛

Date night with my wife. We enjoyed the delicious pizza right out of the brick oven. Stromboli and cannoli were also amazing. Strongly recommend this great establishment! The owner was personable and kind.

My family isn’t from Norman and we were craving pizza. I ordered a 14” cheese pizza for the kids and I got a personal jalapeño, mushroom, and spinach pizza. Both were delicious. The drinks were cold. The service was great. Over all a nice place to eat. We will definitely be back.

We were driving through town and I was searching places to eat. Decided on Amici’s from the reviews. The pizza was really good! Made in a large pizza oven imported from Italy. The crust was thin and crispy just like we like it. Make sure you get a cannoli for desert also. They are outstanding with very crispy shells as they should be. I’ve ate quit a few in Italy, so know how they should taste. The owner was very nice & friendly and had a little chat with my husband in Italian since they are both from Italy. Definitely check it out - highly recommend.

We recently dined here and ordered the La Boinda, which was packed with bold flavors, and fresh toppings, making every bite delicious. The only slight downside was the crust, which was a bit tough, but it didn’t detract much from the overall enjoyment. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere welcoming, perfect for a casual night out. We’d definitely return to try more pizzas, as the quality and taste were impressive.

10/10! Finally REAL pizza! Delicious! You can tell they use fresh ingredients. My kids loved watching them make the pizza, and it go into the big indoor brick pizza oven. We will be adding this place to our regular rotation. We ordered a cheese piiza, and the Amici. Both personal size. Enough to feed two.

Pizza is outstanding. Very tasty. I had pepperoni , pineapple, and Italian sausage, I have tried it 6-8 times Never Disappointed.

Wowzer, what a great find. We took a road trip of rural Oklahoma and found ourselves in Norman around dinner time. We had a hankering for pizza and Amici pizzeria received high marks on social media. We started off with a Ceasars salad. Cold, crisp, and scrumptious. Then the pizza arrived. We selected to build our own. All I can say is "Fantastic". A nice thin crust with plenty of toppings. A flavorful pizza sauce rounded out this delicious pie. We would not hesitate to drive from north Oklahoma city all the way to Norman to have Amici's pizza again. By the way the wait staff was spot on. If you're down Norman way & are craving pizza, stop in at Amici pizzeria, you won't be sorry.

What a gem in Norman! Fantastic, tasty pizza; fresh sauce, not overly oily; perfectly crispy cooked underside with no flop and crunchy crust. Good vibes, clean inside. Will absolutely be back for more one day.

My coworkers and I come to Amici's on a regular basis, we love this place! The food is always delicious, some get Stromboli's and some get Pizza and we always leave happy. The staff is so kind as well and it's a relaxing environment.

The service, pizza, cheesecake was all amazing! My friend will definitely be back, but sadly, I'm visiting from out of state. Otherwise, I would be here lots. Delicious pizza. Really enjoyed the simply decorated, clean dining area. It's worth the visit... just go already.

Service was so great! Everyone is very polite and friendly. The pizza is delicious! Sauce to crust ratio was spot on and the crust is nice and crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Highly recommend!

Amazing pizza. Best in Norman and probably Oklahoma. Ordered everything in this picture and the flavors were wonderful. The place is really clean and neat. Will definitely come back again whenever I'm in town again.

We had a fantastic pizza and cheese bread tonight, it was served piping hot out of the oven. The service was fantastic, and the restaurant was very clean. I sometimes feel like we live in an area where pizza is not that great and I'm so happy my husband and I have a new spot to go to. I would love if wings were added to the menu, because we'd love some oven baked wings to go with our pizza. We didn't get to take any photos because the pizza just looked too good not to eat. It's very important to support local right now, and this is a spot I highly recommend

The most amazing and authentic Italian cuisine I have ever had!! The cooks put so much care and attention into their food and it's so beautiful inside! Food was out within 6 minutes of ordering!

Straight up the best pizza in Norman. It's real deal wood fired pizza with real homemade sauce. The salads and bread were top notch as well. Everything is super fresh.

Excellent representation of NY Style pizza. Went in expecting more of a Neapolitan style due to the restaurant name, but the pizza is definitely more in the NY style realm. The underside was nice and crispy. The crust had excellent chew yet was soft in the middle. Toppings were solid. Tomato sauce was true to style as was the cheese. Glad the west side of Norman has a NY pizza option again. If you're a fan of NY style pizza, give this place a shot.

Pizza like no other, I have tasted before, so good! So delicious. So satisfying. We saw this on the top of the Yelp so we came to the restaurant and we're so glad we did. This is our first day in Oklahoma. We're from Reno, Nevada. So thumbs up. We've been to Italy, this is comparable.

We tried this place for lunch today based on the amazing reviews and it did not disappoint! I had a pepperoni and sausage pizza and my friend had one with prosciutto and they were PERFECTION. The crust was perfect. The service was very quick and everyone was so nice. Cannot wait to go back!

Great pizza place we have found here in NW Norman. Friendly and fast service. Pizza comes hot out of a wood-fired oven! Authentic Italian style calzone. We have been back several times and it has yet to disappoint.

Great food, super friendly owner and staff. Honestly the best pizza in Norman, eat it while you're there too! I've been a few times and tried various things off the menu...everything is wonderful. Support local businesses too(especially Amici), they're much better than the chain restaurants.

We are staying in a nearby hotel and ordered a Tirolese Pizza and a Caesar salad to go. The pizza was excellent and the salad a nice addition to dinner. I'm very particular about pizza and this pie from Amici ordered out of convenience at the end of a long day did not disappoint. Nice job

Went to Amici's Pizzeria last night and ordered the Caeser salad and Amanti Della Carine Pizza. It was delicious!!! The salad had freshly grated chunks of Parmesan and croutons that burst with flavor. I got the pizza to go, since they closed at 9:00. The owner was very friendly and made my pizza while I ate my salad in the restaurant. I wasn't that hungry, but, once I sank my teeth into the fresh, hot, amazing pizza, I ended up eating 3 pieces! I love a brick pizza oven! The toppings were cooked to perfection! I can't wait to try other things in the menu. Way to go Amici!

I've ordered takeout many times now. Always excellent food! Everything has been delicious! Pizza, calzones, and cheesecake all excellent every time!

Their calzones are just like I get when I visit family back in NYC. Love the wood fired crust.

My wife and I ate here for the first time this evening and I have to say the pizza is wonderful. I am a bit of a pizza snob and I wasn't sure what to expect but it exceeded my expectations! It reminded us of the higher quality New York pizzerias we have visited. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and the Amanti Della Carne both were great! The ingredients tasted fresh and the pizza sauce had a good flavor. We also tried the garlic knots and they were made hot and fresh. I highly recommend you try this place. We will be coming back here often. The service was also great and the atmosphere was pleasant!

Excellent locally owned pizzeria. I highly recommend trying it. We've tried the Diavolo, La Regina, Bologna, and Italia so far, and I'd order all of them again. The quality of the italian sausage they use is so much better than the crumbled stuff other places use. We've dined in and ordered online for takeout and both were great.

Amazing pizza with super fresh ingredients. We got two personal pizzas - the supreme and the italino which is pictured. Both were generous portions. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful, the crust is light and airy. Customer service was fantastic as well. We finished off with the tiramisu, which is clearly made in store and was unbelievable. This place is a must visit. We will definitely return frequently.

This is the BEST pizza place in Norman! Opened about a month ago and we have already been 3 times! Highly recommend the La Regina pizza, the Antipasto Salad and the Calzone. I cannot rave about their dough enough. I can taste the quality and love put into each pie! Don't sleep on the Italian dressing for the house salad either!

Wow this place is great! Might be the most perfectly cooked wood fired pizza I've eaten in the state. Dough had good flavor and texture, fresh toppings, decent variety of pizzas. Other reviews described this as NY style, it is more of an authentic Italian pizza than that. The salads were good and generously portioned, again ingredients were fresh. At least one reviewer commented on rude staff- I found the exact opposite. My wife and I were checked on several times while we ate; including the owner personally asked how everything was and took the time to chat with us for several minutes. It was obvious from the way he talked that he was passionate about what he did and took it seriously. We felt that the experience was much more about building a trust and bond with a long term customer than a mere transactional attitude. We will definitely be back.

Ordered by phone for pickup, got there a little early, paid, and waited in the car until it was ready. The young man said he'd bring it right out. Waited and waited..he forgot..pizza was cold . Not bad pizza, wish it had been hot. Worth a try.

The service. Didn't stay and eat because counter guys were bitching about us coming in and it was still 30 minutes before the closed.

This is my go-to Pizza place now. A nice selection of Italian Pizza's. Ordering is a snap and the service is fast and friendly. Nice quiet place to eat. I have seen others get calzone and it looks delicious also. Writing this has peaked my hunger, so I am heading that way for lunch!

Service was genuinely pleasant and the artichokes on the pizza were fresh and tasty. There is a variety of personal choices and the toppings were abundant.

Our favorite pizza in Norman. New York style, just the right amount of toppings, and crust is spot-on. We've ordered carry out and delivery at least a dozen times since they have been open and they are extremely consistent in quality and service. La Bionda is a favorite for a cheese pizza, but the winner is always a pepperoni and Italian sausage. I will be a regular.

Great pizza. However, they have a front oven that was there by the previous owner and it does a terrible job cooking the pizza. The top is charred and great but the underside is not cooked at all. This oven is meant for napoleon style pizzas and not NY style and really ruins the taste and quality of the pizza. Bummer too as it's one of my favorite local spots and we have not ordered from there the last 3 times because of that oven.

Can definitely recommend this as one of the best pizzas in Norman. Tried a plain cheese pizza and it was really good although I'd prefer it to be slightly saltier. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is there are a couple of NY style pizza places in the OKC metro area that I think are better. But this restaurant is closer to home so I'll probably go here on a regular basis. There was plenty of seating inside and the atmosphere seems warm and inviting (no harsh lighting or super loud music). I'll have to try some of the other menu items next time.

We ordered and prepaid pizza from Amici and scheduled a 6:00 delivery. We were entertaining guests. At 5:39 I get a text telling me that Amici Pizzeria is closed and that my order was cancelled. So I call Amici and they are open. The person answering knew it was me without me saying my name and said he would call me back about details. No one calls. I call back and am informed that Amici uses Doordash and that the delivery service didn't pick up my pizza because it wasn't ready when they came. However, Amici wasn't concerned in the least bit that the customer gets a text saying that a prepaid delivery is cancelled, and that the restaurant is closed! The manager literally said that it was not his problem and passed it off on the delivery service. Also our order had been sitting on the shelf for almost an hr. They didn't even try to call. When I called the first time, they could have told us to come pick it up. They didn't indicate it was ready and sitting. So we pick up our cold pizza. No apology whatsoever from the manager. No phone call from the restaurant saying that there was a delivery issue. The paid pizza just sat on the shelf. We will NEVER patronize this place again. Awful management.
