Amicis Italian Kitchen

Visiting family in Canton, and we tried Amici’s tonight. The Stromboli is fantastic, and among the best I’ve had. The dough is perfect, toppings/fillings are top notch, and my mom reported excellent service when she was picking up our order. I’m planning to return before going back home for sure.

Fresh, authentic Italian flavor. My Husband chose this for his birthday lunch. He can’t stop raving about the sausage, peppers, mushrooms, onions over pasta with sauce! Garlic rolls are fresh and light. Fried artichoke hearts are delicious. My Stromboli, w/ blk olives, spinach and chicken was fantastic! Their cannoli, tiramisu and Italian cookies taste like they are right out of a kitchen in Italy. Thank you!

So Brooklyn Joe's is too far Alpine is closed on Monday's so thank God for Amicis Italian Kitchen. This small family owned restaurant is truly sent from the Pie In the Sky Pizza God's. I hope for those who live in the area and still ordering Domino's or any of them other commercial pizza places can experience what my family and I experienced tonight. You can tell Amicis knows what they are doing perfect crust crunch and chewy where it needs to be and so much flavor. The love was truly put in that pie if you are in need of a pizza I promise you every penny spent it's worth it and the wings are even better. If you are looking for a good pizza place I think I found it right off sixes road I promise they don't disappoint this is the best pizza I have tasted in Canton/Woodstock.

This place is seriously a hidden gem. The garlic knots are soft, buttery, and insanely good. The pizza? Perfect crust, melty cheese, and super fresh sauce. And the pasta tastes like real home-cooked comfort food. Cozy vibe, great service — definitely our new go-to Italian spot.

Today was my first time at Amici's but they have made me a lifelong customer. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. What you don't find on their website is that they offer fresh pasta, bread, and desserts. I was able to get fresh tortellini, bread, and stuffed cherry peppers which were fantastic. The owner was so accommodating; I came in to see if they sold cold cuts by the pound sliced fresh. He told me they don't currently but it is something he is hoping to do in the future. He asked if I needed some for this weekend (the 4th) and I told him I was hoping to get some ham and salami for a pasta salad I was making. He cut some for me and charged a very reasonable price. Let me tell you, the meat they are using on their sandwiches is not your grocery store quality, it is fantastic. The best ham and salami I have purchased. They will be my go-to for all of my pasta needs. I'm so happy I found a local place that I can support and get amazing sandwiches, salads, and pasta.

Staff is super sweet and very welcoming! Food is awesome! Pizza was nice and crispy. Also got some yummy sweets! Will be back again soon!

The wife and I stopped in for some amazing canoli last night. They fill their own canoli, it's totally made to order. The desserts were amazing. They have a full Italian menu, pastas, pizzas, and handhelds. Yum!! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great time, we will be back.

Had our first Trenton Joes tomato pie! It was delicious. Crust (most important part) was tender yet crispy! “Sauce” tasted more like seasoned (lightly) crushed tomatos. Which is what this Trenton, NJ native is used to!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMICIS!

The dining area in here is...small. We got here right after the church crowd let out, and there was a very large family that beat us there, so we got stuck in the corner and had to do some acrobatics to maneuver around them, and the had several young children and the acoustics are not favorable to whiny babies (nobody's fault, but something to keep in mind if you decide to visit). I would say their prices are a little high for the calzone toppings ($1.25/each) considering you get a little bit more than an ounce per addition, but the calzones are borderline perfect. Our food arrived within about 15 minutes of ordering, which is impressive considering we had so many people that had ordered before us. The marinara they serve with it is not like your typical pizza joint marinara; this is the real deal. The thickness of the dough lends itself to giving the calzone a gently crispy exterior with pillows goodness of mozzarella & ricotta on the inside, I just wish that the amount of toppings would be proportionate to their price tag. Give me more of them or reduce the charges. My wife got the meatball parmesan sandwich, and let me tell you, from the ciabatta to the sausage to the sauce, it's a very good sandwich...the sausage has that snap and Italian seasoned flavor, the sauce has the zing, the ciabatta is light & crispy in a way that doesn't leave the roof of your mouth all scraped and cut up. The next time we visit, I just hope it's not with a crowd present.

My favorite pizza in the entire area. Takes me back to New York. Always get the white pizza. Their pasta dishes are to die for as well. The owners are always extremely nice and everyone I've encountered that works here is amazing. Feels as though you've known everyone there forever!

Five star pizza! This is legit NJ pizza, greasy, cheesy, crusty and yummy! I've never had any other food here, but I'm a fanatic for their pies. The employee are always warm and welcoming. I feel like I'm in NJ every time I eat there.

Great food! We had the sausage pepper onion sandwich - egg plant parm dinner- garlic knots/ and sausage roll ...everything was delicious...they sell homemade pasta to go and authentic Italian desserts...you won't be disappointed .

Love this restaurant! Feels like your hometown pizzeria ( & more), because Carlo, Al, and the crew greet everyone like a long time family friend. I just tried grandma's pizza...!!! It is my new favorite. Just go, figure out which dish or desert is your favorite. Don't be surprised if you have more than one. (Yelp didn't have enough stars)

Stumbled on this place after a long day. It was like being back home. The pizza the products and the menu offerings were very NY Pizza shop. Had a grandma slice, antipasto salad & a sausage roll. All very delicious. Pizza was on point. There were some guys talking reminded me of back home. Nice getaway and meal. Will be back.

Amici's Italian Kitchen is only 15 minutes away from my house and I've only just discovered it today. Unlike chain restaurants and large local shops, Amici's is a small mid-priced family Italian eatery you can find in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey neighborhoods. We are fortunate that the owner Carlo brought it to Canton Georgia! The menu is what you'd expect from a bigger restaurant - a great selection of Italian eats. The Creamy Tomato Basil soup is a winner -- delicious, thick, and full flavored. Likewise, the Eggplant Parmesan was soaked with a great sauce and the pasta was al dente --- another winner. For dessert I ate small cannoli's that our server Alison made fresh at the end of our meal! All in all, Amici's is a place worth trying for Italian family cooking. Alison was great. She made us feel at home, comfortable, had good humor, and gave us fast friendly service. Amici's is not a fancy place, but one worth making that dinner ride.

I wanted a local place, one that screamed "mom and pop", and this was it. The eatery is neatly tucked away in a strip of services with outside public parking. The interior is simple and clean and many came in for take out. There is the standard varieties of pizza, you can order a whole pie or just a slice. I decided on a Stromboli. You can personalize it, anything you want. If you want more than three ingredients there is a small up charge but these average 10 dollars with tax. I ordered Italian sausage, extra cheese, garlic, mushrooms, and green peppers. It is served on a flat metal plate and parchment paper with a thick knife for cutting and a plastic fork, alongside a cup of marinara sauce for dipping. Take note: this serving is HUGE! Really two servings (three if your more bird like!) For the cost this was a really good deal because it's twice the size of a regular calzone. I took my time because it was so good. I liked the marinara sauce, straight up fresh tomatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I also enjoyed the assortment of Italian cream sodas. I chose root beer and although saccharine in taste, there was a nice creaminess to it when it went down. If desserts are your thing there is a great variety of items. I was eyeing the cannoli's for next time. There were other refreshing items like a mini caprese salad. The owner was very nice, the quintessential Italian and loves to strike up a conversation. Service with a smile is always appreciated! I would definitely recommend this spot if you're in the Canton area of town. I would like to come back to try their pizza to.

Yes! Yes! Yes! This place is bomb. So grateful it is less than ten minutes from my house. We went early due to work meetings so there was no one in with us at the beginning but people did begin to pile in as it got closer to 11:30. We ordered the Philly and the Buffalo chicken sub and halved it so we could taste both. OH MY GAWD! The bread on these beauties. The hostess said it is flown in from Jersey. Then they pack them full of fresh meats, cheese and veggies. Both sandwiches were amazing. Couldn't stop eating them. Unfortunately I couldn't eat the whole thing of either. Took them home, bread never got soggy, they were just as delicious heated up. The fries were hot and crispy. Not a limp fry on that plate. While we waited, the hostess (maybe the owner, no idea, either way, very nice gentleman) gave us a taste of their grandma pizza. What the heck is in that dough sir? Plenty of Italian desserts to chose from. I didn't because I was stuffed. This place will definitely see my face again!

Great pizza and Stromboli. Calzone is decent.They have take and bake Italian dishes. Pizza way better than Pizza Prince.

Delicious! Everything I have had delivered is wonderful! I love the Arugula Salad! The sausage baked in pizza dough with sauce is the best. I don't eat tomato soup, but their creamy basil tomato soup is amazing! The pastas are wonderful as is their pizza.

Great people, great food! Hard to beat Italian food from a New Jersey family! I highly recommend giving Amicis a try.

We tried Amicis for the first time a few days ago and it was delicious! I was a huge fan of the white pizza and my husband couldn't stop raving about his Stromboli. He even requested a picture with it lol. The staff was very personable - it was a 10/10 experience. The only con was they don't have beer & wine. We've already recommended Amicis to lots of family. Can't wait to go back.

Stopped in after having seen a review and was very happy I did. Had the cheesesteak with fries and it was excellent. Great portion size and what's not to love about fresh hot fries. Old style fries and not any of that new fangled coated crap that can survive the next epidemic. Food came out hot and pretty darn quick for something made to order. Folks that run the place are very nice. Had some great looking pizzas coming out of the kitchen and the desserts looked great also. Already planning my next visit since they have all the classics and from what I could see they do it right. Should I have taken a photo to post with this, yes I should have but I started in as soon as it was served. Service was fast as well so what's not to love? Inside the place has the mom and pop feel of your typical little local pizza and deli, nothing fancy but nice, clean and respectable. Several table to enjoy your food at. Lots of choices.

Best pizza in town! Grandmas pizza is a 10/10!! Definitely recommending all my friends and family to give this spot a try!

My go to for Pizza, Italian food and desserts. Great food and a great team. Very local feel that is hard to find these days. Good selection of "ready to go" food as well if you need to grab n go. Highly recommended.

The owners so so incredibly friendly, the authentic New York style food was delicious, and we left full and completely satisfied. They even treated our kids to a free Italian Ice while we waited. We'll be back for sure to try more items!

This place was mentioned to me in passing and I'm so glad we tried it out. The owner Carlo along with the staff are very nice and accommodating. He brought us some Italian bread and olive oil to try which was fantastic. (like from a NY Italian bakery) The arugula salad was very good and the pizza was great. They make a Sicilian pie which you cannot find everywhere. Their round pies are also great. This last visit we tried the Trenton style pie which I give . They have other things on the menu but we have stuck to pizza as our main course. They have desserts in the case (try the tuxedo bomb). You won't regret it. All that being said, this is a pizzeria. It is not a formal restaurant with waiter service. There are ample tables and the service is great. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This is still the best pizza that I've had! They're consistent!! My pizza is as expected every time and the staff is always super friendly!!

So far I've only had the pizza but it was pretty darn good. Small take out place with a limited menu but using the hedgehog principle do what you know how to do best. Pizza is good.

Wow! Definitely the best pizza here in the Bridge Mill area. Get an extra small side of marinara sauce, for dipping. Amazing.

Some of the best Italian for the price! the owner owner Carlo made our food for us; filling, delicious (can't emphasize that enough!), and great priced! We ordered a stromboli with chicken, tomatoes, and spinach; ingredients tasted fresh and delectable! We also got the meatball sub, excellent choice. To finish, we picked up a piece of Limoncello (not pictured, we ate it too fast!). We will be coming back for ANY occasion!

Outstanding New Jersey style pizza. Owner on premises and is always looking to satisfy the requests of the customers. The Philly cheese steak sandwich is better than Phila. Eggplant Parm excellent. Various desserts which melt in your mouth. This is a typical pizzeria restaurant. Service a-one.

This place is legitimate! Excellent pizza and service. You can tell they use top quality ingredients and don't skimp on anything. The owner was there and we visited with him and he was extremely friendly. I'll be back to try some more menu items.

Superb lunch today with one of the best and most authentic pizzas that we've had in many, many years! As a matter of fact, perhaps the last time that I've tasted such quality was at the old Amicis Sixes Road location. We're so happy that they've come back with the old master pizzaristas. Now they also have a massive smoker and we sampled perfectly executed ribs, pastrami, and shaved brisket. It was a 90 minute drive for us but certainly worth the effort. The only downside for me was that they'd sold out of the stuffed artichokes. We highly recommend this real- deal search for Italy.

Amicis is the real deal when it comes to Italian food. The pizza alone is out of this world. We've tried some of everything and everything is on point.

First time customer. $24 for reg pizza I picked up myself. Super thin crust was very soggy. Overcooked on the bottom, undercooked on top. Disappointing

There is a place in San Diego that has one of the best Meatball Sandwiches, Pomas. If you know it, you know what I'm talking about. Guess what, Amicis Meatball sandwich is right there. The bread is crazy good, I would ask for a extra meatball.

Had a sausage and onion pizza. Caesar salad. The pizza was pretty good. Excellent crust. The salad was excellent too. Already tossed. Great dressing. Overall this place could become great.
