Amici’s is awesome. Great ambiance indoors and one of the best outdoor patios around. Cocktail menu is extensive and prices are very reasonable. Chicken wings were excellent as well as the pizzas. At least 3 or 4 different team members came to our table during the course of the meal to check on us and make sure everyone was satisfied. This is a high class operation through and through and we will be back again soon.

This is one of the best pizza restaurants I have been to in a while. The food was great, offering a unique variety of topping options for pizzas as well. The service was phenomenal, each server was polite and personable. I would 10000% come here again.

The restaurant was cute and had a bit of vintage maybe a little art deco vibes. my only thing was inside it was a little too loud. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. We got martinis and appetizers. Also loved the bathroom wall art!

Loved this place. We were at a graduation party there Sunday. It is a very cute place. Pizza selection was great. Loved the Caribbean Jerk pizza and the salad. I highly recommend this restaurant. Service was great. Nice and clean.

Really good pizza!!! I ordered the roasted red pepper and a Rosemary Gin drink which was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and they were keeping a safe distance while wearing 😷. Crazy times! The staff was doing a fantastic job cleaning down the tables after everybody left. The patio was super cute. First time here and I was extremely happy with my visit. I will definitely come back.

Wow, what a lovely place!!! Stopped in tonight for happy hour drinks and food and the owner could not have been more kind and welcoming!! Will gladly be back with our kids - what a warm and vibrant spot for the whole family!

Really great, cute spot for good, unique pizzas and great cocktail menu. The vibe of this place is really cool, and the most recent time I went they were playing an amazing playlist of early 2000s rock. My favorite pizza is the Emilia pictured here. All of the ingredients work so well together and it reheats really well - so get the large!

Charming neighborhood spot for pizza. They have variety of specialty pizzas with unique flavor combinations. We also tried one of the salads and wings which were also delicious. We came in the summer and has a chance to sit out in their lovely patio. The service was very friendly.

I have gotten takeout from Amici's before, but this was my first time dining in! Really nice ambiance, we came around 7:30pm on a Saturday. Dim lighting, high seating, outdoor heated patio, and a super cool bar. Service was great too. I really like their pizza, more of a thicker crust, and the toppings are fantastic. They have great speciality pizza options, it was hard to choose which ones to try! We settled on the 'Pep In Your Step' and 'Shrooms and Grass', both in the smallest size avail. The banana peppers on the Pep In Your Step were such a good acidic addition to the meaty pizza. Also pepperoni cups! Best pepperoni shape (in my opinion). The Shrooms and Grass sauce was delicious, you can really taste the truffle. Definitely recommend! Great place to bring a group to share. We were only a party of 2 so luckily we had a bunch of leftovers for the next day ;)

This place is great. It is the closest thing you will find in the royal oak suburbs area that is very nice and modern but you can also tell it is a hole in the wall family owned restaurant. The appetizers/bread is huge! And the pizzas(pies) are perfect fire cooked and prepared simply. They also give a generous pour on their fairly priced (for the area) cocktails and martinis. During the colder months they do have an outside heated tent space to fit more guests and during the summer it's a patio. Good for a date night or group of friends (6 or less).

Came here with my friends who said this was their favorite spot in town, and I see why! Great pizza- we got the three pigs and the house made ranch that it came with was spectacular and actually the star of the show. It complimented the spice from the pizza really well (I'm a big wimp with spice and this was fine). Cute outdoor seating, and good service too.

The first restaurant I visited while in Detroit Metro. Very cute pizza place with bar. Started off with the Elderflower and ended up having two!! Ordered the Three Pigs, Shrooms and Grass, and the Caesar's Salad. The food was great and the ambiance very cute--especially for date night The servers were very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely return when I visit Detroit again.

Great ambiance, good food. Eastern market pizza with blackened chicken was sooo good! Drinks were good but not strong. Outdoor seating is in rear of restaurant with view of the parking lot but still nice.

Amazing service by Izzy, amazing pizzas, amazing cocktails (all martinis were $7 at Happy Hour). Eat on the patio! Amazing music! It's like going to the dance bar and not having to dance! Love this place in beautiful Downtown Berkley!

so I used to love to come to Michi's before the pandemic. They used to get this fantastic cheese, bread, and pizza. It was awesome. Fast forward to now, I saw they were open for lunch again. I went in, and I'm not going to lie. I hated that I had to order cafeteria style and then pay for it, and then they asked for a tip; how do you tip when you don't know what the rest of your shirt is going to be like so I'm going to tip zero when I did that the girl gave me the stinky which is not astonishing you're asking me to tip on services I don't know what it's going to be like so fuck off. Everything was self-serve, and they brought the pizza out. I mean, the pizza was good, but you know what, I'm probably gonna go back just because I want somebody to wait on me. I'm I want to tip someone who's waiting on me

Gotta say I'm a fan of this place big time. Excellent follow up from the leadership here and even with me not being 100% satisfied with the experience the food was still really good.

I've loved Amici's since moving to Berkley in 2020, and I love it even more now that I've had to remove gluten from my diet. It's been really hard to find a gluten free pizza crust that has any type of thickness or chew to it - most are paper thin and cracker-like. Amici's GF crust was a delightful surprise. It was almost hard to keep mentally engaged in the conversation I was having over dinner because I was lost in the analyzation and awe of each bite. My best bite, however, was that of a slice that had accidentally been sitting atop a crushed tomato chunk. The acidity/warmth seemed to have perfectly steamed that bite from below, making it soft and almost stretchy like regular pizza dough. I almost want to ask them to put a thin layer of sauce under my pizza next time. GF crust aside, the martinis, apps, and salads are all great. You can tell the owner really cares about his business, as he can be seen working the floor alongside his staff on a regular basis - but not in a way that feels overbearing or supervisory. The ambiance is great, inside and out. All things considered, this is definitely my favorite spot in Berkley

First of all, the vegan artichoke pizza was outstanding. It is as flavorful as I remember it many years ago. I'm glad the new owners haven't changed the recipe. But the big problem I had with the dining experience was all the fans that were blowing on the outside patio. It was like sitting in a wind tunnel. It was very uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to get out of there, unfortunately, despite the delicious pizza.

When the AT&T repair man tells you how great a place is when you mention that you are going there in the evening, you take notice. I went with a Meetup group that I am not organizer. A group of 20 in a small place sounds like a problem and add just 1 waitress it sounds like a real problem, but it wasn't. While the table was tight when all the pizzas came, it worked. Our waitress, Daisy, kept everyone's order straight with very good humor. She seemed to be a pro dealing with large groups that need separate checks. I ordered my normal - Ham and pineapple pizza with extra sauce. I have eaten this type for over 35 years and too many pizza places. This pizza is now in my top 3. Good there and just as good at home. You can look into the kitchen to see how your pizza is made. In warm weather, there is outdoor seating. I just deeply wish that they setup a second location in downtown Farmington closer to where I live. That place needs a restaurant of this quality and very reasonable prices.

Romantic and quaint. Would definitely come back. Shared three apps and herb mushroom flatbread and a bottle of wine. Would definitely come back. Servers and runners were friendly and seem to enjoy their job.

I don't go for the food but they're salted caramel pretzel martini is fantastic. It's like liquid candy.

I have always been a fan of Amici's but had not been since the previous owner because I moved out of the area. I was excited to stop in while visiting Berkeley and was pleased to discover, the food and cocktails are just as good! Treat yourself and stop in!

Service was good. Ambiance was great. The pizzas looked great however we went for the recommendation of pesto bread and pesto pizza. Each were good but definitely, for us, not enough pesto taste. Sorry no pictures.

One of the best pizza's I've had. I'm from philadelphia. when I go out of town, pizza is a must. I try to find the best pizza based on reviews. Well let me tell you, Amicis meet my expectations & proved the reviews to be accurate.

Food was fabulous! Service, amazing. Adam was our waiter and he showed out. He was so thorough in explaining the details on the menu and gave great recommendations. We settled on the Pep In Your Step pizza w/ a side of ranch and some drinks. Food came out hot and was so delicious. The sauce on the za tasted so fresh, we could taste the basil and oregano and my favorite part were the curly pepperonis. Also, I am a ranch snob and the ranch met all expectations. For drinks, I got the Samoa because I was in a desserty mood, I would get it again. My dad got a beer. Adam also treated us to his masterfully crafted sweet jalapeño margaritas (with a brown sugar/cinnamon rim), they were good. My dad was shocked at how much he enjoyed his. Will be back!! Really happy with our first experience here.

Pizza was amazing and lucky to find a table on Friday night. Service was quick too. The only knock is the drinks are pretty expensive considering the size but otherwise I'd recommend.

Loved Amici's!!! Sunday night had a lively vibe at the bar & $7 martinis! Pizza...we had 1/2 of The Emilia (arugula, prosciutto, mozzarella, goat cheese topped with walnuts & drizzle of balsamic glaze) & 1/2 Southwest (black beans, smoked corn, scallions, jack cheese, house-brined jalapeños with a drizzle of cream & fresh cilantro. It was so delicious!!! The oven roasted cauliflower coated in the sauce they use for their chicken wings was excellent! Alan was super friendly & made great recommendations. Cannot wait to return!!!!

Love it. The pizza is so good--quite worthy, and the salads are fresh and delicious. You can get whole wheat crust, gluten free crust, vegan cheese--whatever suits you. Our go to is the roasted red pepper pizza with whole wheat crust and a Mediterranean salad. Delicious! Staff is warm and friendly, vibe is a chill neighborhood feeling. They have a nice patio during milder months.

Ate here a few times before the change in management. They have decent ingredients. This is the first ever pizza spot where I was introduced to gourmet style pizza still, it's so different from regular pizza for sure, as far as experience goes. I have only had the mushroom and the Emilia, neither are too bad. I would stick to their non-GF pizzas though. I look forward to trying their warm and fresh cookies, Campania, spicy Caribbean jerk and blackened chicken when they are fully opened for the dine-in experience or even better when it's warm enough to be on their patio after spring.

Horrible customer service. The restaurant looks like it used to before the pandemic. The food quality is the same, however the service was unbelievably rude and appalling. Also, the pizza is very soggy! I tried to explain this to the waitress and she so rudely told me ohhh well I like it, she went on to tell me 3 times how it's so much better, well... on the third time I had to ask her to hear me out and why I didn't like it. She rudely shut down n didn't listen to the problem. She didn't have many tables left and she kept asking me how the pizza was I said very exaggeratedly horrible completely not what I expected and how it used to be. I went on to tell her why it was soggy n how that happens and I wasn't aware of the new cheese on top way they do stuff. I refused a refund but just wanted to tell her how I was confused and shocked at the way they make the pizzas that once were great! I came there to have a good dinner yet that was ruined. I wanted a great experience and ended up being disrespected and tasking a water logged crappy pizza with still same good quality ingredients. She copped an attitude and just turned into a nasty person. Other than telling me how great the food is to her and rudely offered a refund is so shocking it really ruined my time. I've never seen a waitress be so rude bc I hated the food. She really should reevaluate how she treats this places customers. Everytime I would say thank you after that she would ignore me. Time after time. I was raised to say thank you especially so to service members. I never have issues with them she just had an issue with me. The whole ordeal could have been fixed and I would not have a bad taste in my mouth over this place. Literally and figuratively but now I will make sure that how I was treated is known. 120$ spent and no one liked the food we have one slice each of two 12 inch pizzas, they were terrible. And the ceviche was a bad rendition, should be named shrimp n chips, the salad was ok, many rotten pieces of lettuce but that ranch is wonderfully good. But not good enough to spend 100$ on ranch. Wine was cheap no water refills, we waited 20 min to order and tables that sat after us were ordering already and got their food before us. Also, lastly attention to the owners and other waitstaff, THE PIZZA GETS SOGGY BECAUSE on the build your own if you put 6+ veggies on a pizza and then put the cheese on top the cheese seals the moisture in. How about let your customers know that you do that method. Especially for people who are visually impaired. Give them options! MOST IMPORTANTLY of there is an issue at a table and other waitstaff see it, report it to a manager. You just should not treat people so EVIL!

We are frequent fliers at this lil gem in Berkley. Innovative pies. The amici salad is reeeeaaallly good. We've tried all the apps. Most of the pies. Service is good. Ambience is cool. Amici's is on my short list of places we go back again and again for. And it's half an hour away. Very good

This review is only for take-out so I can't comment much on the service or the place. My friend got us pizza from this place. I browsed the menu online and wow, they have great selections and varieties of pizza, including vegan-friendly options. You can even add vegan cheese to your pizza. Aside from that, they also have pasta and some other stuff. To be frank, looking at how they mix and match their menu and with the sorts of topping they put on their pizza, I'm guessing Italian won't call them authentic. But, hey, that doesn't mean it's bad! In fact, I think some of their inventions sound genius! I'm not vegan, but I was attracted by the vegan option and ordered personal-size vegan artichokes. It has marinara sauce, fresh spinach, fresh tomato slices, artichokes, and walnuts on top. The personal size is bigger than what I would expect, but I gladly chowed it down and finish the whole box in one sit. Definitely a FILLING meal. The pizza has a good crust. It was not as thin, but I think it's perfect because it holds everything together well. Chewy, but not doughy, so you don't feel sick at the end of the meal. All the toppings taste fresh without feeling like you're eating grass. My friend had the vegan black bean, which looked very interesting--I might want to try that next time, and the Emilia, which has arugula, prosciutto, goat cheese, mozzarella, and herb tomato sauce, topped with walnut and balsamic glaze. I think that was a genius combination. Definitely not traditional, but sounds delicious for sure. For the quality and quantity, I think the price is really good.

We had pizza which was delicious. We also had the wings. warning if you don't like blue cheese let them know because they are served with blue cheese sprinkles on them . we also had some that couldve used a few more minutes in the oven . The Amici salad was delicious but I will definitely ask question inthe future regarding wings , pretty pricey for 5 wings .

My friend and I walked in on a Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. and were seated immediately at the table of our choice. We opted to move to the bar and ordered a few glasses of their frosé. The environment was so dim and clean. The backdrop included classes subway tile and butcher block counters. It was so good and just the right amount of liquor. It reminded us of the Wallaby Darned at Outback. The pizza came out within 20 minutes of ordering and was so fresh. It could've been cooked a bit longer, but it was mostly our fault because we added so many toppings. The bartender was so friendly and attentive. I would go back on any day of the week.

I think I've found my new favorite restaurant in the Metro Detroit area! Amici's is an adorable, charming restaurant with some of the most fresh, delicious food around. You can tell every single dish is made to order and all of the ingredients are fresh, not frozen. I'm Vegan, and seeing how Vegan friendly their menu is makes me SO happy! They have a whole section for Vegan pizzas and plenty of vegan apps to share (the guac is to die for.) Something about their crust is unlike any I've had before. It reminds me almost of flaky pastry, but sturdy? Hard to describe but easy to eat 5 pieces of! My favorite vegan pies are the pesto and black bean options. They even have Vegan cheese! They have a huge selection of drinks and cocktails that are so fun to try. The employees are always so kind, welcoming, and passionate about Amici's. HUGE compliments to the chef, they keep me coming back again and again. Now they just need to open a location in NYC so I don't need to go without it for months!

Best pizza in metro Detroit. Have been eating here for two decades and it hasn't fallen off in quality whatsoever. Easily the best tomato sauce of any pizza I've ever had. Celiac family member loves their gluten free pizzas, and recently a vegan friend introduced us to their incredible vegan pies (get the pesto one - it's insanely good even for a non-vegan). Great customer service and lovely outdoor dining experience.

We went here for dinner for the first time last week. They have parking in the back which is wonderful. The pizzas were delicious in addition to the drinks. I absolutely love the outside patio!! And the servers were super nice! We will definitely be back.

They are doing carry outs because of COVID. We got a 12 inch cheese thin crust pizza and a 12 inch gluten free pizza. This was the first time ever going here. I would HIGHLY recommend the thin crust pizza! It was absolutely delicious!!! I would say I was a disappointed in the gluten free pizza. It seemed more on the doughy side. It didn't have a good flavor either. I definitely had to cheat on my gluten free diet although I will be paying for it later . Its worth it though! If you are looking for a good pizza definitely give them your business!!!

EXCELLENT pizza and food. Wonderful service. And a cute atmosphere! I am only bummed that I live in LA and won't be able to make it back soon for more! We had the Pep in Your Step and Artichoke signature pie (+ mushrooms), caesar salad, and fantassssstic Baja Shrimp (with some good spice to them). OH and for those of us who often leave the crust behind like it was only there for decoration, you will not find yourself doing that here! Do not be mistaken. Amici's delivers beyond pizza. I am not even a big pizza person, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all and am looking forward to that leftover pizza for breakfast :) Don't miss out on this gem!

Highly highly suggest the Spartan Bread... It was absolutely delicious. We only did take out but it was quick and well organized.

Wish I could give it a 6! We are new to Berkley and had gotten several recommendations to go to Amici's so we decided to walk over. There was a pretty long wait to be seated outside, but we figured it was worth it! We had a 3 course meal and shared everything. First, a Mediterranean salad. Then the blackened chicken sandwich. And last but not least, the blackened chicken pizza and subbed the cheese out for ricotta because that's our fav! Everything was a 10/10. We were in awe because it was so good! We brought the left overs home and then ate it like an hour later One of the workers (possibly owner?) was very cool too. When we said we were new to the area he gave us lots of recommendations. I think his name was Tim.. or Greg.. not sure. Def coming back soon!

For my stay-at-home graduation dinner, I was definitely in the mood for some good pizza. I had been meaning to try Amici's for a while now, so this seemed like the perfect occasion to do it. We were going to get one 14-inch pizza, but we were having trouble choosing a pizza, so we ended up ordering two 12-inch pies (gotta try 'em all!). I LOVE a good vegetarian pizza, and we tried both the roasted eggplant and the pesto. Trust me when I say the flavors were incredible - and, I mean, look at those photos. I keep looking at these pictures in my phone and thinking about when I can go back! The roasted eggplant is like all the greatness of eggplant parmesan on a pizza. So savory, eggplant cooked perfectly. The pesto pizza is also to die for, and I think may have been my favorite. Fresh roasted broccoli and ricotta. I actually went so far as to make my own pesto and broccoli pizza at home this weekend, because I'm such a fan of that flavor combination. We tried the wheat crust for both pizzas as well, and I was very happy with that. It was hearty and just chewy enough without being too dense. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better dinner to celebrate! Will be back to try the vegan pizzas next.

Amazing. Amazing food. Great drinks. Attentive staff. You can't go wrong with anything you order. And they have some of the best salad dressing I've ever had (garlic romano; I know, random, but true). The warm chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Only 1 complaint from the last time I dined in: it was SO loud. I couldn't hear myself think, let alone hear my friend talk. We were sitting near a speaker, but even so, WAY too loud. But that will certainly not keep me from returning.

Oh wow this place is the best. They have an amazing patio / dining area. They also have the most delicious PIZZA EVER! We love the BBQ shrimp pizza!!! We just ordered the Vegan Artichoke Pizza. Can't wait to try it. WE LOVE THIS LAID BACK, COOL, HIP, TASTY PLACE. This is NOT A PIZZA PLACE, it's An amazing place with incredible pizzas.

So this is my first time here and let me tell you the pizza is amazing!! I've always had people recommend this place to me since they know I love pizza. As soon as I sat the pizza down in the car I knew it was going to be good because it smelled delicious! My order was correct, was ready on time and the pizza was cooked to perfect! I love how the cheese was lightly browned!! I asked for light on the sauce and they did that correctly as well! I absolutely love this pizza! It was a little more costly than other places but you get what you pay for! I will definitely be back! When it comes to pizza I like just cheese but they have some very interesting, nice looking artisan pizzas! They also offer breads, salads, sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies! Due to COVID they are also offering to go signature cocktails, bottles of wine, sangria, and martinis. If your craving pizza and in the area this is the place to go! I can't wait to try some of their breads and salads next time!! I love this place!!

The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant was that I wanted to order 10x more food than I could actually eat. The drinks, salad, and pizza were all great! The service was also phenomenal. My friend got a mule and thought it tasted a bit off, so the server immediately smelled it, realized it was the wrong liquor, brought a new one, and didn't charge her for either. Can't wait to come back again!

We came to this place once ~20 years ago and it was too expensive, but we're grown-ass people now so it's all good. Quality/flavor of the food was INSANE, including a fantastic traditional gluten-free crust that was absolutely on point. Cocktails were delicious, apps were delicious, cute neighborhood feel. It was small, so expect a wait at peak times.

I fell in love with this little slice of pizza heaven! I'm always looking for places with great food, drink and ambiance. Amici's met each category for me! If I could give this place a 10 star rating, I would. Located in the quaint city of Berkley, Amici's is a small restaurant situated amongst a strip of other businesses. Just driving by you wouldn't even notice it...that's the special part; drive around the back and what appears, this amazing little pizza bistro. I fell in love with the patio space seating, ivy covered brick, and soft lighting that glowed thru the greenery. If the patio was this inviting, I couldn't wait to check out the food. They offer a special deal on Tuesdays, buy one specialty pizza and get one half off. What a great deal. They have such unique pizzas and the martinis.....WOW!!! If you know me, you know, I love a good martini! They have an entire menu dedicated to their martinis; I couldn't believe it. I don't think I have ever experienced a drink menu as extensive as Amici's. The options for pizza are just as impressive. The inside is rather small so I'm sure the warmer weather is important for this establishment. I can't wait to come back and try some more items on the menu. If you happen to be in Berkley or if you want to try an amazing place...Amici's is the place for you!

Really Good Pizza and Friendly Staff. Every time I order from there they are super sweet and they always greet you with a smile. The pizza is consistent with quality ingredients and a lot of flavor.

THE BEST vegan pizza's out there. Not only do they use great vegan cheeses (violife is amazing) but their vegan pizzas without any 'cheese' whatsoever are still amazing. Great veggies, and it didn't feel like the pizza was missing anything at all. I have tried, but failed, to enjoy so many other pizza's without cheese but have never enjoyed them until I found Amici's. Amazing!!

We LOVE this place and eat here on a regular basis. Tim and his staff are top notch. Fun atmosphere, fantastic food, great menu and wonderful gluten free options. Everything about AMICIS is positive! Enjoy fresh food, fun people, excellent music and consistently good eats, drinks and company.
