I absolutely love this place! It has a very unpretentious/neighborhood vibe, also surrounded by tons of other shops if you wanna grab some ice cream or maybe a brew/bottle of wine from across the street. It’s 5 min walking distance from my house but so it 2 other spots.. I always end up coming back here because this sauce, cheese & crust is just so authentic New York style. It really is delicious. & starting at $9 & some change for a small cheese is honestly a heck of a price! plus they always throw in free ranch & crushed pepper. Bravo amici’s, huge fan!

I have been going to Amici's my whole life. I have tried a lot of pizzas out there, and this is by far the best pie. The sauce is perfectly seasoned, and the cheese is a wonderful accent to the sauce. The crust, oh the crust! It is very thin but soft at the same time. It is not a crunchy crust. The mozzarella sticks are also extremely good. Service is amazing and they always take time to greet people personally if they know them. It is such a good place to hang out in Medford square. This place is a Medford classic.

Yelp
If your in the West Medford area you must Amici's a try. Great pizza. chicken parm sandwich. The owner is always there and is a great neighborhood shop owner. Support your neighborhood businesses and enjoy some great food while you are at it.

D S.

Yelp
Great food, very prompt service. Usually get the steak bomb but pizza sometimes also, all excellent.

Yelp
Love this place. Sandwiches are great. Staff are such nice people to chat with. Has a real family vibe.

Bob B.

Yelp
Good pizza, but stay away from the sandwiches, I got a steak and cheese with onion there last night the bread was steal and there was hardly any steak in the sandwich, and what was there was dry, and they made it with raw white onions.

Yelp
The pizza is really good! I'd definitely go again. A tad pricey per slice, but delicious pizza! Mario (worker) is a really nice man!!

Yelp
Love Amicis! The pizza is great & I love the salads. You can tell the vegetables are really fresh. The people who work there are always so friendly to me.

Yelp
I had to sign in to Yelp because of the absurdity of someone saying they serve breakfast sausage with peppers in a review. I am literally going 20 minutes out of my way to get their sausage pizza (and subs) because it is one of the best Italian sausage in a sub or pizza around that I know of... it's not breakfast sausage... it was probably sliced on a pizza and not ground up that confused someone.

Maura H.

Yelp
Ordered a pizza because joe pizza is too expensive and amore is Greek pizza. Ordered a sausage and onion. It was breakfast sausage and the sauce was terrible. Never again.

Yelp
Great Italian pizza and very nice people. Generously gave me two bags of chips after a short convo. I don't usually try pizza places twice but will definitely come back
google avatar

Yelp
Unfortunately, no one here wears gloves when handling food. The fact that I've watched them touch money then turn around and start preparing food is utterly disgusting.
google avatar

Fred A.

Yelp
The pizza is ok but as a cook I think they use to much dry oregano in the pizza sauce. Also the should wear gloves to prepare food or at least wash their hands after handling money

Yelp
I'm sorry but I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. I went to this place on the recommendation of someone on TV and should have known better. While the pizza looked delicious, the first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that there was no aroma. Even worse when I bit into it there was no flavor. I was with another person and we both had a full slice before giving each other our honest opinions. This pizza just was not good at all! Sorry but I will not be returning ever again.

Yelp
This place is a neighborhood gem! I am new to Medford, coming over from Malden and the wonderful store owner not only welcomed me and my family but had his patrons do so as well. I ordered a chicken club, small fries, and a slice of cheese and the food was ready in less than ten minutes and came out EXACTLY how I wanted it to. Delicious soft/fresh sub rolls, wonderful cheese to sauce ratio, and a small fries that is so large you don't regret not getting the next size up. Not only is the food delicious but the customer service is amazing, the cook came to my table to personally deliver my food. If this isn't five star dining idk what is!

Yelp
Great family owned pizzeria that has been in West Medford for over 25 years. Old school as they come! Food is always fresh and conversation always fun.

Mary M.

Yelp
I love this place. It's your most standard pizza and sub shop. It's exactly what it is. The pizza is good, it's thin and tasty. Sauce isn't my favorite though, I like sweet sauce. The subs are fresh, the veggies fresh. The chicken fingers are literally the most quintessential pizza shop chicken fingers (how I like it) The people running it are great, it's a no BS vibe. You can come in for a cheap sub and complain about trivial things with the staff whilst your order is being made. If you're not a native masshole you may be put off from it. This isn't amazing food but it's good and it tastes good and they know my order. The prices are good too. Long live amici's

Yelp
We were heading home and had heard Amici's had great pizza so thought we had called them to pick it up. Turns out we had ordered from some place else! But they offered to make a pizza for us but asked us to call the other place and let them know - classy. Well, glad we said yes because the pizza was amazing!! Love the thin crust and the folks could not have been nicer. A local gem - we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Amicis is my go to pizza place in Medford. The sauce is absolutely delicious and the pizza is made to golden brown perfection! It has a nice, local neighborhood feel. The meatballs (in a sub or on their own) and buffalo chicken pizzas are my favorite.
google avatar

Kevin A.

Yelp
Best Italian sub I have ever had. Chicken cutlet parm is a medford legend. Pizza and calzones are excellent and the service is fast!

Yelp
I've gone to this place twice looking to support local businesses in my new neighborhood. I will not. The pizza here is nothing to write home about, and the times I have ventured into this joint I felt like an unwanted outcast. I kid you not, I felt as if I walked into a Juke Joint only to have the record player come to a screeching halt upon walking through the doors. I tried a second time because I thought this was in my mind, but had the gent at the counter toss my credit card at me after securing payment. Done
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
I stopped here because I missed the place I had wanted to go to (traffic was bad), and was in a hurry. I walked in and the girl behind the counter was too busy to acknowledge me (and the others waiting) because she was wondering out loud where she put an order. I waited, and placed my order. I was told "10-15 minutes", waited over 20, and got attitude from the guy (owner) when I asked about it! "I put you in, when I got a chance, I put you in [the oven]!". I ended up waiting for a half hour in a place with terrible decor and a freezing cold air conditioner blowing on me in late October. Will not come here again, even in a rush.

Yelp
two old guys run this pizza joint. They never wear gloves even after they handle cash. Gross. But they have some of the best buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had.
google avatar

Victor P.

Yelp
I went to the Amici's for the first time yesterday, and I will go there again. Tasty, crusty, well made pizza from a real Italian guy from Abruzzo. Despite the fact that I was in a hurry (France was about to start playing Germany), he did not waiver, but told me to wait. Obviously, he values his product, and takes pride in it. And so I waited, and was duly compensated for it with a conversation about Toscana with a beautiful lady who was sitting under a wall depiction of an Italian town with the hills in the background. The pizza was worth it. I shall return.

Yelp
Amici's is a great local pizza place. The crust is thin on the bottom and puffy on the edges, they don't cook it too long so it doesn't get too hard. Typically we order a cheese pizza, but we also have tried the sausage pizza and that was great too! The prices are very reasonable unlike another pizza place down the road.

T B.

Yelp
Okay so if you saw this place referred to on a Barstool Pizza Review by a guy in a car in Woburn, don't get too excited. I didn't want to give three stars, but maybe this is more like a 3.75 star place. Pizza is good, but not earth shattering. Funny how people have their local or childhood pizza joints that they are partial to and hype them.
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
The best! I've been coming here my entire life and the pizza is thin and crispy and just tastes amazing! I've never had an issue coming here or with an order, and the two men and the new(ish) woman who run the place are always professional and friendly!
google avatar

Maria D.

Yelp
I've been coming here since I was under the age of 10, and I still remain loyal to this place. If you like thin crust pizza, this is your place. Pizza places are widespread, but if you live locally, you gotta try Amici's at least once.

Pallavi M.

Yelp
They have a really good buffalo chicken salad and pizza. Good portion for Resonable price. I like this place
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
Really good pizza, eggplant sub only OK. Good delivery to West Medford. Very pleasant staff and delivery drivers. Reasonable prices.

Christian C.

Yelp
Fresh and very tasty pizza. Great place to come to for thin pizza.

Yelp
I've been to Amici's a number of times, but I would not recommend it. The pizza is a average at best -- for that I give them three stars. I have also gotten sandwiches several times which are also par for the course. Amici's is typical Boston/American style -- a medium sized crust with plenty of cheese and toppings, but there is something off-putting about the sauce. Some efforts to improve the recipe would go a long way. Nearby Joe Pizza and Jimmy's pizza both better Amici's when it comes to taste. The service at Amici's is poor. The owners are sometimes rude to patrons and unapologetic when they make mistakes (which they do). Due to the service and tense atmosphere when you go to get takeout, the overall experience is bumped down to two stars. Again there are better options down the road in West Medford, and I don't believe I'll be back to Amici's.

Yelp
The pizza is mediocre and the service is terrible. We placed our an order for delivery at 5:30. At 6:30 when I called to check the status of our order only to find out it hadn't been started yet. To make matters worse when I told them it had been an hour, the guy debated me and said that I was wrong....nevermind that I have call history on my cell phone. Needless to say we won't be ordering from there again

Ezra M.

Yelp
This is probably the best business in Medford that I've been to. Their pizza, while not the most high-end, is some of the best I've had in the Boston area. And no one I know from Medford seems to know about it. The family who runs the restaurant is wonderful; they even know what kind of pizza we're getting when we call in the order (Onion, tomato and garlic, half sausage, half eggplant). And sometimes, if we're running late, they'll actually put the pizza back in the oven after it's ready. Wonderful. The only reason I take a star off is that their tomatoes are usually horrible, even in the peak of tomato season. That being said, it's probably not worth a drive, even from Somerville or Arlington (they don't deliver outside West Medford) but if you're passing through West Medford or you live here, you should definitely get my customized pizza.

Adu N.

Yelp
best Italian food in the area and Amici's has had a great reputation for decades.

Yelp
Amici's is a great place to get pizza, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers and salads (Greek salad with grilled chicken = yum)! Mr. Mario is a great cook and even nicer person! He always has a funny joke or kind word especially for the kids!!! For true Italian love.. You can't beat Amicis!!!

Socal C.

Yelp
Decent cheese pizza at this place but it'll remain my only experience with them. Why? Because I could hear a worker openly complaining to another worker about my meager order of a cheese pizza. Again, the cheese pizza was fine, but on a basic level of customer service and civility (and with the availability of other good pizza joints)---there's no reason for me to ever walk in here again. The restaurant business looks tough and like very hard work. But if it's on the menu and a customer orders it, get it made and maybe they'll come back for something more substantial in the future. How does a business count this kind of loss?

Stacy S.

Yelp
The pizza was great, plenty of toppings, ready on time, and made by authentic Italians that own the place. It's my go to pizza joint!

Kenny P.

Yelp
This is a local business that's just trying to keep up with the fierce competition around them since the West Med ford Deli has opened they seem to have been crushed except for the pizza and their juvenile clientele . They have excellent pizza if you like the thin crust pizza .There pizza is a huge plus for them The two gentlemen who run the place aren't the most personable folks you'll ever meet in the food service business and the area at night is usually a hang out for large gatherings of elementary and middle school etc. kids who's folks let them roam the streets at night without any supervision like wild boars yelling and screaming obscenities. The Police could do a better job at clearing the sidewalks of all these kids so that folks coming to or from other eateries such as Bistro can pass along without all the kids. I love kids, don't get me wrong but the square where businesses are is not a good place to have them hanging around all hours of the evening. Have you ever been to a trailer park on a hot summers night. Well that's what the neighborhood reminds me of with all the yelling and screaming.
