Amici's

This place consistently serves good dishes. My family and I have been coming here for about 5 years now and all the dishes we have tried are amazing. The pizza is super yummy, the seafood risotto is delicious, the pasta with clams in white sauce is always a good choice, and the chicken Marsala is my favorite. Every member of my family comes out of this restaurant pleased and content. Definitely would recommend for a great well-priced meal.

this was my friend and I’s first time going to a restaurant in miami and i am so glad that we picked this place. first of all they were very generous with complimentary garlic knots (which were inanely good). the food was incredible i got the fettuccini alfredo and bruschetta. i also got the tiramisu as dessert and it was DELICIOUS they make it in house and it altered my brain chemistry. however, the best part about this experience was how amazing our waiter Daniel was. he answered every question that i had about the menu in extreme detail and passion and ultimately helped me decide what to eat. he was also not afraid to tell us what he liked AND disliked. we greatly appreciate his honesty. additionally, the atmosphere was comforting and the music was a vibe. :)

My husband and I come in to amici’s at least once a month and also order take out, maybe twice a month. Food and service are always great. Today we placed our take out order , my husband goes to pick up & they realized they gave our order to someone else - no biggie , he waits , unfortunately because of this delay he was not able to eat before going into work, but it’s okay . He drops off our food and there is no sauce on my pizza.. I ordered a pizza with “white sauce, ham & mushrooms” .. I call the store and the manager not once , not twice , but three times insists I confused them when I placed my order because I didn’t say “Alfredo pizza”.. so pretty much saying it was my fault even though I explained I wanted “white sauce on my pizza”.. anyway he offered to make an “Alfredo pizza” but at this point I was over how he handled it, so I told him to forget it. I drove to the store with the full pizza box , the hostess apologized for the misunderstanding (she was very nice) she went to get the manager, & he came up as if nothing , issued the refund , no apology no nothing .. remember , they also messed up giving away our order . its 7:20pm on 7/9/2025- I want to say the managers name is Enrique.

Being a New Yorker trough and trough had to go experience Amicis first had highly recommended by various friends and I have to tell you not at all disappointed the food was fresh to order plates came out piping hot and with lots of flavor the chef out did themselves very authentic Italian cuisine the service was very good felt like I was at home they were not stingy with the bread or garlic knots one of my favorites, being that the food was so good had to try a slice of pizza it was good very cheese but for my personal taste I like a little more tomato sauce but otherwise excellent definitely will be back

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day & I loved it! The quality of food you get for the amount & prices were unbeatable. The ambiance had such a nice feel to it & our waitress was so sweet/attentive, I wish I remembered her name. ):

Amici’s has always been a neighborhood comfort spot for me. Love the food, the random live performances, and their ability to accommodate large parties. Their dishes are also awesome, but I have noticed a change in flavor some stuff is just not as good anymore.

This is my third visit here and each time was consistent. The food was good, not over seasoned, a large portion and very reasonably priced. The service was good and our waitress would always check on us. We never came here during there busy time so I cannot speak for that. My go to Italian dish is spaghetti and meatballs and I think they did a great job with taste and portion size. I will absolutely return! My review today is based on a pick up order. I ordered food for pick up and when I arrived they gave me my food and when I got to my car I realized that they forgot a part of my order and I had to go back inside to get my missing order. When I got home which was less than a 10 minute drive we sat down for dinner and we unfortunately found the garlic rolls to be hard which often they are typically amazing. They were hard and unable to eat. We tried to microwave them to hopefully get them soft but that didn’t help. I believe whoever placed them in the bag for me to take home had to realize that they were not soft and should have never given those to us. My advice to anyone who is picking up an order would be to check everything which is a lesson learned for myself. And what was sad is that the time of our order and pick up was a very slow time.

The dining experience was nice but the take out was not as good as expected. The taste was great, but the temperature was the issue. It was very cold! Once again, the taste is great but the pizza was way too cold. I recommend adding phone text notifications for when the pizza is ready out of the oven.

The food was not great and came out in the worst order. We ordered cocktails and asked about bread. The server returned without drinks or water or bread and, instead, took our entrée order. No biggie, food started coming to the table. Keep in mind...no water or cocktails yet. Salads came out first. Then our entrees arrived. When we were almost done, our cocktails arrived, then water by request. Finally, the bread (that was "still in the oven") arrived...cold. Strange evening, for sure. None of it worked.

Hi! So I might be a little biased because I grew up eating here. So for that reason I decided to bring a couple friends who had never been to get unbiased opinions. I love this place. My favorite thing to order is off the menu, a baked ziti with pink AND meat sauce. It is my greatest comfort food. On this visit, I ordered it again and as always I had a great time. My friends ordered the Amici Ziti and Carbonara. We also split a pizza and calamari. We left no crumbs. Everyone not only enjoyed their food but was eager to come again. I have been eating here for over 10 years and I have got to say they still got it. Every friend I bring is always grateful I brought them. I should mention that the portions are large here so we shared plates. Now, I do have to admit that the Sangria was a little disappointing and it took a long time to be serviced. Amici's rarely disappoints.

So, my husband and children wanted to eat Spaghetti with Meatballs. I wanted to eat shrimp with spaghetti in Pomodoro sauce (fresh tomato, spinach, and garlic sauce). Since Doordash does not allow or does not have a button next to the Pomodoro pasta to allow you to add grilled shrimp to your Pomodoro pasta. So, I called the store and the front desk lady said she could accommodate the Pomodoro dish I wanted by me selecting any pasta with shrimp-like shrimp fettuccine and writing that I wanted the Pomodoro sauce instead of the alfredo sauce in the note section and she could tell the kitchen to change the sauce the way I wanted it. Amici restaurant went above and beyond by accommodating my pasta preference and I truly appreciate it. Not only was the shrimp with Pomodoro spaghetti nice and hot, but it came with 6 large shrimps in a DELICIOUS fresh Pomodoro sauce with diced tomatoes, spinach, and garlic (I do wish they used fresh slices of garlic vs chopped jar garlic though. As fresh garlic taste different than jarred garlic). Despite this issue, the Pomodoro spaghetti with large shrimp was AMAZING. I truly can recommend this dish as it was flavorful, well-seasoned, and delicious! We will be ordering this dish again! BTW, the dish comes with 2 pieces of garlic parsley parmesan rolls with your pasta dish. We ordered 4 Amici's Side salads that come with romaine lettuce, slices of cucumber, sliced red onions, and slices of tomato with a side of dressing. I also ordered a side of Lentil Soup. My kids and husband loved the Spaghetti with Meatballs. So, we recommend Amici for Spaghetti with Meatballs and spaghetti with Shrimp in Pomodoro sauce dinners! See the attached pictures below...

One of my favorite restaurants in Kendall. They never disappoint. The service is great and the food is better. Love their chicken Marsala.

I have been eating at and or ordering take out from Amicis since 1997. It has always been decent, sometimes average other times good food overall. Tonight I ordered delivery, simple pasta dish, as always online asked what type of rolls I wanted plain or garlic, and which dressing for the salad. Made my selections and waited patiently for the delivery. Upon arrival the bag is small, I ask the delivery driver where is the salad and rolls? He tells me I didn't order the salad, i pull up a screenshot of my order and show him, then I open my email and show him the email receipt which was sent to me and both clearly show it. He shrugs his in s shoulders and sats that J need to call them. So I call the restaurant which takes about 10 minutes for someone to answer, understandable on a Friday night. I explain to the woman on the phone that I placed my order online through their website as I have done for decades, and my order was incomplete. She then replies very smugly that I didn't order a salad, and she proceeds to read it back to me repeating exactly what I ordered, pasta dish, garlic rolls and salad with Italian dressing. Then says oh we are not including the salad anymore. I then say well you need to correct your ordering system online to represent that as it it s miss leading. Then she smugly again says 'no not anymore, never again ' which made no sense to me. I said I have been eating and ordering from there since I moved in the area in 1997 and she acknowledged that I guess from my phone number and records. I asked is this the proper way to reply and handle a situation with a loyal long time customer and the reply was if you want salad now you have to pay. WOW

Restaurant far from my neighborhood so it was my first time there. Ample parking and attractive restaurant with great friendly service provided by Maday. The best garlic rolls ever full of parmesan, olive oil and garlic. My husband ordered the Spaghetti Pomodoro and he said the tomato sauce was delicious and my Amici's Ziti with eggplant was very nicely prepared and served and with good flavor. My only recommendation is to improve their Cappucino taste and maybe place a biscotti to serve it. Prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to return.

Such a Classic place when it comes to Italian Food. Very nice staff and food is always amazing. So many dishes to pick and or decide. Very chill environment and family oriented. If you love Italian food, you must try this place.

This place is delicious. Everything on the menu is amazing!! I have no idea why they have 3.5 stars. I would recommend you try this restaurant and decide for yourself. I have eaten Italian food all over the world, including Italy, and I strongly recommend this restaurant. Please give it a try. You will not retreat it!

Inconsistent results on the pizza again. Burnt cheese topping and undercooked crust. I've reclaimed over and over but doesn't get better. The stars just got reduced again. Honestly I give up. Idk what happened. Used to be good years ago.

I went last weekend -- the bruschetta and baked tortellini were good. Our waitress was pretty rude and that's why I knocked a star off. Nobody likes to have unnecessary comments and faces made at them and that kind of soured the experience.

I've been here before and the food is always very good. The service lacks I had to wait a while for a refill my waitress went MIA. I do recommend to the manager to have the restaurant cleaned, I've never seen it like this before but I hope that they see this and clean better.otherwise it would be a 5 star what you see here is the wall side panel and the floor under a "clean"table.

This has been one of the worst service I've had we order the food and are child food was supposed to come out first it did not it came with everyone else food and it came wrong they said they make it quick it did not they never put the food in the kitchen we keep asking and they brought his food when we all finish eating love you never again.

This is my "go to" Italian restaurant in West Kendall! My favorite is ziti with salmon in pink sauce!

Food tastes good. I like coming here. But, for lunch, the service is slow. The food is served but where's my drink? Bread served. Pizza served. But the drink? Gotta ask if not, you gotta weight. Maybe this time the lunch service was slow or new. But anyways I still like it here.

Can't review the food because I wasn't greeted for 15 minutes, service is trash. Hostess was great. We sat there for 10 mins and a table that was just sat down after was greeted immediately It wasn't even busy

Been here before; it was a Friday night and packed to the T; Food, was really good considering how busy it was; full liquor bar was key I believe. Recently returned with my second half; it was very quiet and not much people. Service despite how slow it was; was a bit of a let down it took atleast a good 15 minutes to atleast attend us and offer something to drink; Note: I'm brutally honest when it comes to these reviews of places; so people know what to expect; So service needs to bump it up a bit. Food; let me say food is really good; pizza is very well done and very good; and when you order a plate of food it's a big portion; enough to share with whom ever you're with here; upon leaving service took a little bit again to get to us so we can pay and leave; I recommend getting here before the evening rush, and hopefully the have more servers. Ambience is pretty good if your one of those people like to be in places that's loud and packed, especially the bar area get here after hours and on a weekend or Friday. But overall ambience is pretty good depending on what you want. I did see some pics on reviews of the cleanliness of the place but I certainly didn't see no issues.

In my case food is a hit and miss thing even if my sibling loves it. Has been in the area for years and their service is good with a loyal following . The place is a clean and the service pleasant.

Great service, nice ambiance, the food was good. Our favorite was the stuffed portabella mushroom. The lasagna had lots of meat. Overall had a wonderful dinner.

A Hammocks staple. Ordered a large half Hawaiian, half ham pizza. Pizza was delicious but it could've handled like 3 more minutes in the oven. Either way, sauce to cheese ratio is perf. Can't go wrong with Amici's pizza, tastes homemade. Service was just okay - but we really enjoyed the food.

The bread is good, pizza is good, everything else should be avoided. The fish there is like a piece of rubber and tastes disgusting. Pasta is bland and the meatballs and chicken tastes like fake meat.

This restaurant is a hidden little gem in West Kendall. Aymee was an excellent server and our lunch was delicious. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Very nice menu. The garlic knot rolls were perfect too.

Amicis is amazing. Great Meatball Subs, Pizza Slices and Garlic Rolls. Definitely worth the drive.

Best pizzas in West Kendall. The Tiramisu is the best. Ordered home delivery and it comes fast. A couple of times my food tasted too vinagre and I did not eat it. My wife shared hers with me. Ambiance is quiet unless they book a party.

I love this spot! If you're a local then you know you will always get great food! They are always busy so be patient...it's worth it

My lasagna came out cold at first but was reheated and it tasted great. It was a good portion for lunch and with lots of flavor. Garlic bread was excellent. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Going back again when I return to Miami to try the pizza.

Hi Loves, I was recommended by a ex-co worker who is a foodie. I went with my husband and really enjoyed our experience. I ordered pizza and my husband had the chicken parmigiana Everything was on point. The food was incredibly good. Great selection of wine. The service for it being a busy evening was everything you could ask for. The ambiance was lively and it was just what we were looking for. I can't wait to try there bolognese.

Came here for lunch. My boyfriend has been bragging about this place for a while. He says it's one of Kendall's best hidden gems. We ordered/shared a fettuccine Alfredo, mozzarella caprese and a slice of cheese pizza. The service was quick and sweet and the food came out fast. Everything was Delicious the food also came with two garlic rolls and a house salad. I loved the pizza it was thin and crispy would deff recommended this spot of you're in the area and will come back soon.

Their Baked Ziti is very specifically the Amici's Ziti, with their sauce and eggplant is creamy and delicious. Probably my favorite thing on their menu. They say you can judge an Italian place by their Garlic Rolls, and have to say they are pretty soft, garlicky, and flavorful. The place can get crowded especially on Fridays, but that means business is good, right? The area can get kind of dark, so try and get w ell lit table if you are eating inside. Wish their outdoor area was more lively, and decorated, but then again you can only do so much since it is in a shopping plaza. All in all its a decent Italian place that has been around for more than 20 years, so it has my respect.

This is my third visit to this restaurant and the food, service and atmosphere has always been good. I was always greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress always checked on us to make sure everything was ok. The food tasted good not over seasoned with always large portions and reasonably priced. I never went here during there busy hours so I can't speak for those times but my guess is that this local place can get very busy. You can call to make reservations, I couldn't find a way to do this on line. My go to Italian food is spaghetti and meatballs and it was prepared perfectly and there garlic rolls are full of garlic which I absolutely love. I will definitely be back.

On a day when lots of people were off work and out shopping (and, likely, stopping for lunch this restaurant had one waitress to serve a (roughly) half filled dining room, including a rather large business lunch next to us. We waited more than 20 minutes for her to take our order and an hour to be served. It sure wasn't the server's fault that we were unhappy, but management needs to wake up. The food was, as usual, pretty good but not good enough to ensure my return.

Excellent service and good food. The salmon was amazing and perfectly cooked. The place is very clean and quiet and very nice menu. The meatballs are also really tasty. Good portions and reasonable prices.

The food was frozen in the middle... horrible ...don't recommend thus place at all... happened when the pandemic and we try again but is worse

Love the lasagna at Amici's - we always order to go or have it delivered. Their pastas are very good and will not disappoint. A bit pricey but worth a good meal.

First time back in a while and I won't be coming back. Their portions have significantly become smaller and price has risen. I ordered a gnocchi and a sandwich which ended up costing 30. The gnocchis are now being served in the smaller take out containers and they were hard. The steak sandwich had huge chunks of green peppers and barely any meat. Nothing like before and now they only give two breads which only had Parmesan cheese and no olive oil or sauce. Very disappointed

The calamari, the pizza and the fettuccine Alfredo is spectacular! I've only ordered takeout and the food is always hot and ready quickly.
