On the Grid : Amigoni Urban Winery

"This is such a great spot in the neighborhood. It doubles as a tasting room and beautiful event space. Head over here for a flight of tastings, or take a full glass up to the Mezzanine to hide away. While I’m woefully under-qualified to "review" the wines, I can say that the Viognier (white) is very balanced and drinkable, and pairs well with a sunny afternoon and good conversation with friends. Bonus, they're open from 11-7." - Faregrounds

Very cute winery with tasty wines. If you’re looking for sweet they don’t have those, I’m not big on drys but I enjoyed all the ones I tasted. The employee who administered my tasting was very sweet. I was the only customer at the time on an early Friday afternoon so we got to enjoy some nice convo during my time there. She made me feel very welcome visiting the city.

Outstanding service, friendly, and knowledgeable bartenders. These ladies genuinely enjoy their job and it shows. It was a pleasure spending a Sunday afternoon learning about the wine and local sources for the appetizers they offer. My husband and I enjoyed the 5-pour tasting — it’s a wonderful introduction to the variety of wine they have you offer. We liked our cold plate appetizer so much that we purchased the seven pepper jelly to take home from the gift shop. The ambience is urban, modern, but comfortable. There are plenty of nooks to cop a squat, relax, and take it all in. This is the perfect venue for a holiday party, wedding, or social event. We highly recommend Amigoni if you want to pamper yourself for a couple hours — it’s a fantastic place for good conversation and a great date night.

The wine here was honestly disgusting. I can’t fathom why there are so many positive ones? I feel like they must be writing their own positive reviews. I would rather drink Barefoot wine than drink Amigoni wine again. If that wasn’t bad enough, on top of that their service was horrible. The woman serving at the bar with red hair and glasses was incredibly rude. Her attitude was so negative and unwelcoming. Coming here was an overall terrible experience. Stay far away. They also don’t serve you here or provide flights. It’s bar service only. You get what you pay for when it is a $15 wine tasting. They also don’t give you a fresh glass for each wine, they pour it back into the same glass WITHOUT rinsing it. They wouldn’t give it to me as a flight even though I bought the 5 wines for $15 tasting. I had to go back up to the bar each time to receive the next wine. 0/10 experience overall.

Very historic building with charm and great atmosphere. My friend and I went on a weekday for wine tasting and also ordered 2 of the small plates. Our hostess August was very knowledgeable of their wine and wine making process and the many events they offer. She helped us identify the tasting "notes" of each wine. This was a very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you August!!

Came here for a bachelorette trip stop because of the good reviews. When we walked in no one said hello to us and we didn’t know where to go or what to do. We assumed the reserved table was for us so we all walked to it and sat down. When no one came over to us we realized then you had to go to them to order. They asked us no questions about what we wanted, what we were there for, no engagement of conversation at all. We ordered the wine testing for $15 and it was awful. Every wine tasted like exactly what you paid for I guess. The wine was all poured into the same glass each time so that interferes with the tasting?? The female with the red hair glasses and face piercings who was working and she was terrible. No smile, no desire to engage with us whatsoever. She gave a member of our party the wrong bread on her bread and oil plate, didn’t say anything about it. then when we said something about it she just said oh we’re out. We returned the plate and a few minutes later she came out, gave us the right plate still saying “I found this in the back I don’t know how fresh it is but it’s free.” With no apology or smile. The male worker was very kind to us and did good with explaining what each wine entailed. The female worker didn’t do that until after he did. Overall super disappointing. Not a place for a bridal party, definitely a “dive bar” winery vibe. Probably good for locals but not for us. Also didn’t answer us for weeks to get a reservation until this morning. Not sure what everyone else likes but this place to us was not the vibe we were going for! The reviews did not match up with what we walked into.

My wife and I went wine tasting here for our anniversary weekend celebration in a very warm and welcoming environment. Customer service was top-notch and we felt very much at ease. We are not dry wine lovers, and this was our first real attempt at tasting dry wine. Let's say for us it was definitely an experience; we took away a bottle of what felt good for us! Very wide selection of wines to choose from and souvenirs to remember your time. Recommended with 5 stars!

Came for my sisters bachelorette. We wanted a place that offered something for everyone. We have tried calling for the last two weeks to make a reservation and no one answered until day of. We would not recommend the 5 for 15 wine tasting, you get what you pay for I suppose. The customer service was disappointing to say the least. The guy working was incredibly sweet, but the female with the glasses & red hair was not welcoming and frankly rude to most of us. Not sure if it was an off day for her, but certainly off putting. Disappointing to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

I went here a couple weekends ago and it was a nightmare. The bartender who took care of my party was incredibly rude, and honestly mean. I ordered a focaccia plate and when she brought it to me, it was sliced baguet. I went up and asked her about it to which she rudely told me they were out and she gave me what they had. I decided I didn't want it and we went back to our table. I think she overheard us being upset with her attitude towards all of us because awhile later she comes up with a focaccia plate. She told me she found it in the fridge, heated it up, and that she wasn't sure if it was fresh. It wasn't. It was horribly stale. I would have just preferred an apology and that is all. Additionally, when we ordered the wine sampler we were given one glass of wine at a time. There is no problem with that except they use the SAME wine glass for each sample without rinsing it! Common sense says that is absurd. I want to be clear that above all, her attitude was the worst. She was flat out mean anytime you interacted with her. For the owner: This person (I assume a woman but obviously gender expression doesn't equal gender identity) was skinny with short, brownish red hair. I have genuinely never dealt with someone in the service industry that rude. I know everyone has bad days, but I never behaved like that when I worked in the food and drink industry.

Yelp
We had an awesome time here! The wine is amazing! My wife did the limited tasting and I did the full tasting. We tried 9 wines that way. The grapes here are from Lodi, CA, which is my favorite soil in California. So, I was super pleased with most of the wines. The owner greeted us at the door as old friends, even though it was our first visit. We joined the wine club and are super excited our friends introduced us to Amigoni Urban Winery. Love that they are partnered with the KC Current too. We are so excited to go back. I bought half a case. Ha! We sat next to some super loud folks. Maybe next time we will sit outside. But overall, this place is excellent!!

Yelp
I went to this winery because I had never heard of them before and I'm so glad I did! The ladies behind the bar were amazing with explaining everything I needed to know about the wine tasting, they're were very generous with the different tastes, and the winery was beautiful. I loved it so much!

Yelp
You walk into this beautiful lobby. The building is a historical building. Such a perfect place for a date, bachelorette party, a place to enjoy a glass of wine with your girlfriends, etc. We did the classic wine tasting. I'm not a huge white wine person but their Pinot Grigio was so delicious. I really enjoyed their Sangiovese, Cab Frank, Syrah, and Petit Sirah. All of the little food options they have are from other local places which I really liked! The classic whine tasting we did was 5 tastings. 2 white, 3 red, and $15. They had a reserve tasting as well. That was 4 wines but I don't recall the other things with that one. You can also get a bottle of wine to drink there. If you don't finish it they all happily record it for you. You can then take it home and enjoy the rest of it. The service was phenomenal. Super friendly staff who answered any questions we had. There was one bottle of wine in the 4 we went with we hadn't tried and they gave us a try to ensure we liked it. We ended up becoming members! You can choose 4, 6, or 8 bottles. There is a default selection set up but you can exchange it for something else. This also saves you 15% off of your purchases. So if you plan to come a few times absolutely worth it! Plus their wines are just divine!

Yelp
Classy Experience Best: Location! Gorgeous interior, with lots of natural light, 2nd floor seating options with balcony views, and an overall unique experience tucked in the West Bottoms Affordable wine flight with special Aperol Spritz option on Fridays & Saturdays Tip: Have them pour 2 glasses for your flight tastings at once to avoid as many walks up & down the stairs for your next pour Don't come too hungry, mostly light snacks available. Both the Meat & Cheese Platter & Farm to Market bread with olive oil were tasty Next time: Will plan to arrive earlier to enjoy more time there. They close at 7, however it was super nice that they did not rush us out the door! Probably stayed until 7:15 & we weren't the last to go Service: Great! Food orders came out quickly, never had to wait for pours at the bar. Extra plates for sharing available on request Ambiance: Open and spacious, yet not too loud for visiting Visit: 3.15.24

Yelp
Love love love the ambiance! Such pretty, old fashioned chandeliers and touches throughout the room, plus I just love the upper level that overlooks the lower level. This would be a wonderful date option! The wines are excellent as well. My favorites were the Petite Syrah, which had a smooth fruity flavor. The second best was the urban inkwell, which was a spicy, almost jalapeño red. The Sangiovese was also good, but wasn't a stand out. I'm not a huge fan of white in general, but the Pinot Grigio had some fruity soft notes, almost tropical. Counter service was friendly, and I appreciated how quick and easy it was to get a drink.

Yelp
I am not a big wine drinker so when the gift of a wine tasting came to me, I was a little nervous. But the women at the winery are absolutely amazing! I cannot express enough how comfortable they made the experience by being able to explain every single glass of wine that we were testing. The ambience is amazing, very clean, they also had shareable appetizers that went really well with the wine. I definitely recommend this if you are, or even if you are not a big wine drinker. It is a wonderful Experience! Definitely will be going back.

Yelp
We met up at Amigoni to start my birthday celebrations yesterday. If you haven't been, this building is a treasure in and of itself. The decor pairs well with the overall architectural style with arched door ways and rod iron accents. The service was fine. I prefer locations with table service but also understand that it can be hard to provide due to the labor shortage. We did have the cheese plate. It was okay. It only had two actual slices of cheese on it. Where they used to provide it with crackers, it had bread and where it used to be provided with olives it had pickles. It was fine but a little skimpy for $15. We had the Pinot Grigio. It was actually really nice. Wine language is not my language but the ladies I with are fluent and said it was fantastic. This was a great place to start the evening!

Yelp
I moved back to KC after being gone since 2008. When I left, the only thing in the West Bottoms were haunted houses and (back then) Kemper Arena. We explored the West Bottoms earlier this summer and I was shocked it had come along as much as it had! Amigoni is just that touch of class that it needed. We've come back about 4-5 times since, just because it's such a relaxing time and the best way to spend a couple hours out of your weekend. They also have nice little meat and cheese snacks and board/ card games to play while you're enjoying your bottle.

Yelp
Delicious wines! What a gem! Visited from out of town and was pleasantly surprised by our experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Beautiful building, lovely decor, wonderful staff. Acoustics are a bummer. Very loud anywhere you sit. Perfect for younger crowd, bridal parties - and festive events. Not ideal for older folks who struggle with background noise. Wonderful tastings lovely selections.

Yelp
Had a fabulous time on a Saturday with Kelley and Jasmine!! First of all, amazing wines in California-style--NOT Missouri-style. I do Napa, WA, and CA tastings when I can, this winery is seriously on par with those. Kelley and Jasmine were very personable, and made a sincere effort to connect with all customers and their wine likes on their level. Both were attentive, fun, and knowledgeable. The place is beautiful and very clean with ample parking in the back. There are also some food options and a great wine club. This is, IMO, the best winery in KC IF you like CA-style wines. So many amazing choices, great staff, I highly recommend.

Emily C.

Yelp
This place was the most pricey winery I went to in Kansas City. I didn't know they were charging me for the 2 tastes of wine they gave me before deciding on a glass, especially when they wouldn't let me try the two wines I thought I would like most because the bottles weren't open.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I did the the white and red tasting. I enjoyed all of the wines they had to offer. Our favorite was the Pinot Grigio sparkling. The bartender was awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. 5/5 would recommend.

Yelp
Fantastic wine. You can also do a tasting of 5 preselected wines. Our wine tender (Andrea) was amazing, she was solo, but attentive, engaging, and friendly, even when it was super busy. It was a 5 star visit...include it in your sipping schedule!

Yelp
This was my first time at Amigoni and I was in love! A group of friends and I stopped by for a wine tasting. They were sampling 5 wines for $8. On the day we stopped by, they had 3 white wines and 2 red wines. I personally favor white wines to red wines so I enjoyed those more. Each wine had different flavor profiles so it was great to be able to try the various offerings to find what suits your palate. When they poured our wine, they would explain the flavor notes of the wine which I appreciated. I would have like if they listed those on the tasting sheet as I have seen that done at other wine tastings I have been to. I liked most of the wines they selected and it was definitely worth it for the price! Not only did they have great wine but their building is stunning! The patio outside is perfect for when there is good weather. The second floor is where my friends and I spent most of our time. We casually finished our wine and played board games while looking over the balcony to the first floor below. I could not have asked for a better place to do a wine tasting and spend time with friends. I will most certainly be back!
google avatar

Sari C.

Yelp
I loved absolutely every wine I had here! One was better than the next! They have a small outdoor seating area with a few tables. Luckily when we went there was only one other couple sitting outside so we felt like it was distant enough to be outside. Everyone was so friendly and answered all questions we had about the wines. They had a very small snack menu so if you are hungry make sure to each before! I think there were three options of little bites to enjoy while drinking wine but not enough to fill you up. I also learned their wine is sold at Gomers and I absolutely will be keeping bottle of this in my house. Truly one of the best wineries I have been to and great quality wine!

Yelp
We stopped by Amigoni on a Sunday afternoon during a chiefs game - and it was dead. Perfect for enjoying some wine during Covid! We signed in, headed to the bar, and ordered our wine. We got the Urban Drover, and it was delicious! I'd definitely go back for more! The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a win on a dreary Sunday afternoon
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
Fun place to come with friends! During covid, they aren't doing flights, which is disappointing, BUT if you buy a bottle, they will re cork it for you so you don't feel obligated to finish it all. The flavor profiles are different than a standard wine I would pick up at the store - in a good way! The meat and cheese plate is a good addition to the drinks you'll have!

Beth M.

Yelp
Friend of mine and I have been coming to Amigoni Urban Winery for a little over 5 years and Michael Amigoni makes some great tasting red wines as well as white wines. There are several that we really enjoy and not a time that we've been there have we not bought our favorite wines. The winery is in a historic building and the staff is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this winery

Yelp
A big, yet adorable, place to spend a whole afternoon or evening drinking away with your friends! We came here for wine and they definitely delivered. I am not a big wine person, so I opted out of the wine tasting my friends participated in. Instead, I got a glass of their sparkling rose and it was delicious! It was a perfect mix of crisp and sweet. I also ended up getting the cheese plate which had a great selection of Green dirt cheeses. My friends also enjoyed their wine flights which included a mix of red and white wines. The best part for everyone was the games they had on the second floor! It always makes life more interesting when you get a group of slightly tipsy people playing board games. My friends and I enjoyed our time here at Amigoni! The space was gorgeous, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the wine is delicious. I'll definitely be back with my friends to enjoy more rose and cheese!

Lindsay A.

Yelp
Looks like it used to be an old bank converted to a winery. Greatly renovated and cute place. Lots of selections

Jon A.

Yelp
So, we were really excited to try this place. So we came for the wine tasting. While we aren't wine connoisseurs, we do enjoy a decent wine. So the first tasting wasn't all that bad, but the 2nd one had bites of dog poop. The third glass actually had smells of a mattress that was heavily saturated with piss. Off to the 4th...my sister in law says it smells like burnt electrical wire. Brother says it smells like rubbing alcohol. So last night we played a game of tasting hot sauces...as it progressed they got spicier. Those who reached level 12 won $20.00. I think they have this place a little backwards. Instead of me paying them for tastings, they should pay me for making it through the challenge. Just sayin'. We mostly enjoyed #5. So the challenge was completed. I don't think they're giving us a prize. Their water was the best thing we tasted!

Jaylene O.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The owners are so nice and personable. The wine is great, love that they import the grapes from California. Definitely should check out their wine club!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a great find in MO if you prefer dry wines and tend to avoid sweet wines! Love that it's local AND they serve wine I love - rare find in the Midwest. Their membership is super affordable so I became a quick member and love their member events just as much as their wine. All of their staff has always been great - attentive even when they're busy and great for conversation during slow times. They have a great tasting deal which is a happy hour go to (price is always $7 but it's just enough for pre dinner). I have brought many friends here since finding it and so far we've all found something to love. If you are one of those MO sweet wine lovers, they have some good middle ground wines, but I haven't seen any true sweet wines.
google avatar

Maggie C.

Yelp
Such a chic and spacious area. Weekly wine tastings are staff choice, with 5 for $6. Our server accidentally poured us the wrong wine, so he gave us one for free. Red wines were very woodsy and bold, with tons of flavor. They also provide crackers with toasted cheese to nibble on while you're sipping on your wine. Loved our experience here.
google avatar

Marissa M.

Yelp
Spend an afternoon here for a wine tasting. I will warn that they only serve dry wines. I am usually a sweet wine type of person but I did enjoy their selections. Exploring the building I think gave the tasting the most charm. A low key activity with a relaxing feel. A tasting cost 8 dollars a head. (4 types) Loved this for a Sunday afternoon
google avatar

Natalie T.

Yelp
What a fantastic spot to spend a Saturday afternoon at with some good friends and even better wine. The building itself exudes an immediate vibe of true class, being converted from an old printing building with much of the original woodwork intact and full of character. We snagged a table in the back room to taste some wine and were delighted by the very generous pours served by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Amigoni is high on my list to swing by for a tasty glass of cabernet and conversation.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Loved this place. Tried it out during a visit home to KC. Every time I go home I discover another cool, new place in KC. The ambience inside is lovely. Comfortable and chic at the same time. The tasting menu of the day includes 5 tastings for $7. The staff we encountered were all very friendly too. I definitely want to go back the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I came here with friends who are trying to work their way through all the Missouri wineries, and it was a pleasant experience but I didn't enjoy their wine as much as I anticipated. This winery is definitely not for sweet wine drinkers, if you like California dry wines though this is more in your alley. I myself am I dry wine drinker (reds are my favorite) and I wasn't impressed with the wines I had. We got the flight, but were disappointed to find they give you 5-6 wines out of 15+ to add to your flight, but said they would be accommodating if we *really* wanted to try something not listed as a flight option. I thought that was kind of strange, but nevertheless when we did get the flight they were extremely large portions which we were thankful for. The Pinot Grigio is the strangest I've ever tasted, and others in my group weren't fans either. I tried the 2015 Red Blend they had available and it wasn't very good - kind of had a metallic taste to it. I did enjoy the merlot they had available though and drank that for most of the time we were there. My non-wine drinking friends were easily accommodated because they had beer options on tap, which was really nice. The building itself is really beautiful and there's tons of places to sit, both inside and out. While we were there alone there were 4 bachelorette parties going on, if that tells you anything about the atmosphere, loudness, and ambiance of the place. Overall the service was great, just probably not for me in the future.

Yelp
The West Bottoms is full of treasures. And this may be one of its best. Amigoni is a great tasting room with a phenomenal ambiance. They have delicious wine and snacks and impeccable service! Yes, they were featured on an episode of Queer Eye, but there are many other reasons to go to here! 1) The wine. Wow. Delicious and well priced. 2) The service. Friendly, knowledgeable, prompt. 3) You will feel like you are in Napa (well, close). If you're in the West Bottoms, go here and have a glass or a flight. If you're not in the WB, it's worth making the trip for this gem.

Kasi B.

Yelp
First time to visit. Had a great experience. Andrea was very friendly and helpful. Will come back next time I'm in KC!

Yelp
restrictions, we followed the instructions at the door, sign in/fill out a form and wait to be greeted. So we did... and waited approximately 10 minutes to be greeted by no one. A one point the bartender cleaners a table, which we thought would be for us. Walked past us, looked at us, and didn't say a word. After multiple parties (already seated) went to the bar for additional tastes, I spoke up and asked if we needed to seat ourselves. The bartender finally acknowledged us and said she was the only one working, and proceeded to help everyone at the bar. We chose to leave instead of continuing to be ignored. Money out the door, for a party of 6, that's easily a $100-$200, more if bottles were purchased. My recommendation is to increase staffing on event weekends. We won't be back. Disappointed.

Yelp
An "urban winery" is the perfect way to describe Amigoni! Located in a revitalized portion of West Bottoms (along w/ Genessee Royale, Stockyards Brewing, West Bottoms Kitchen, Voltaire, etc.), Amigoni is a one of a kind operation. Good wine, an AWESOME multi-floored tasting room, and a fun bartending staff made my visit memorable. I want to come back with a big group of friends and take advantage of the 5 wine tastings for $7 deal... definitely worth it!

Yelp
What a beautiful redo of this space! This is the second time I have visited but keep coming back for the ambiance and of course the wine! Staff are incredibly helpful at picking a wine with you whether your going for a flight, bottle, or glass and the atmosphere is incredibly classy and cool without being pretentious. Great happy hour location to laugh away the day.

Yelp
Warm and friendly staff and owners. Make you feel at home. Reminds me of Cheers from the TV show.

Yelp
Had a great time here, small and cozy. Went with a friend. She prefers sweet wines, which they are mostly to the dry side. This is definitely what an urban winery is all about. My 3rd trip there and should go more often.

Yelp
I came to Amigoni in search of a place to change my wine club membership. This is the cutest intimate spot, right in the west bottoms. Tastings are $6 and they have memberships that range from $130-$460, you get 15% off of Everything with the membership and the best part about it....the vineyard is right here in Missouri!! So you can support local. The downside is that you're back to trying only one brand. The hours here are not ideal. I was in my car and ready to try it out on Monday only to learn that they were closed, I guess they don't get the Monday blues and they close at 6. However, Brittany our host/server, was amazing. She answered all of our questions and had great information about the wine. We were very pleased and bought a bottle to go. If I don't get a membership, they will have a new frequent customer. Great Job folks!

Yelp
I really really liked Amigoni Winery. The inside seems almost historic and makes you feel high class in a sense. We should have walked around before our tasting because the room in the back was much cozier. I loved seeing this winery located in the West Bottoms. It's not an area I ever visit but have fond memories of being in during my childhood (circus; Wizards games; haunted houses; etc). It was great to get back down there at an older age, and for not better reason than WINE! My one dislike was only that the variety of wines they had seemed to be lacking. They had no sweet or semi-sweet wines. I wouldn't say that semi-sweets are my favorite or what I drink exclusively by any means, but having a variety in a tasting and going from sweet to dry or vice versa is something I typically look for. This may not be their thing and I respect that, but would have loved to have at least been able to try one that wasn't on the drier side!

Yelp
A little disappointing. Toured the KC Wine Trail today and Amigoni was part of the stop. While the venue was gorgeous, they're touted as a "KC local/drink local" wine bar. Unfortunately, we found out they their grapes come from California and are bottled here locally in Missouri. We were not impressed as we prefer Missouri grapes grown and bottled in Missouri. If I wanted to drink California based grape wines, I would travel to Napa Valley. Please only serve KC Local/Drink Local Missouri grape wines. Or advertise differently. If you're looking for dry reds/whites, California-based wines, then this is the place to be. If you're looking for Norton, Chambourcin, Vignoles, etc. Then I encourage you to go to a Missouri based winery because you won't find it here.

Yelp
Went here awhile ago and had a tour and a tasting and it was nice. We enjoyed bread and such as well and it was very relaxing. Liked that there is a parking lot next to building too.

Yelp
Missouri winemakers have made great strides in recent years, and nowhere is that better illustrated than at Amigoni. Not only have they figured out how to grow and bottle French hybrids here in our hostile climate, they've also transformed an old building in the West Bottoms into a gorgeous tasting room and event space. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon before the nightlife crowd arrived and had the winetender's (is that a word?) undivided attention. For $6 you can taste five wines, and more for an extra small charge. I've been impressed with their wines before, and this day was no different. The reds are rich and supple, the whites crisp and refreshing. After the tasting, we wandered around place, which consists of the elegant two-story tasting room and the more rustic cask room, also with a bar. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the product, and she had every reason to be. I'll go back any chance I get to drink some wine, and if I ever need a classy event space, this is one of the first I'll call.

Yelp
We came here for a fun date night and it was perfect. It is in the middle of COVID, but how they are handling it was great. Took everyone's info, required masks, and encouraged social distancing. (Minus the manager guy who had a total disregard for masks and wore it under his chin...) There were not very many people there when we visited so it was very easy to space out. I was pleasantly surprised with their wine. They do source their grapes from California but do all the mixing in house. They offer tastings, glasses, or bottles for purchase. I wish they allowed you to make your own tastings. You are stuck to sampling the ones they set up which was a bummer for me. However, my husband and I just opted for glasses of the reds we thought we would like and were not disappointed! We bought some bottles and will definitely be back.

Yelp
A great tasting of superbly made Missouri wines. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Missouri wines...there are few I like. However Amigoni has managed to take a nice crop of grapes from central Missouri and blend them with a good selection of California grapes to make some very palatable wines, French inspired all the way. We were impressed with our first tasting a month ago and upon our return we continued the enjoyment. Who would have thought such a young man from Centerview, Missouri (Scott) would inspire such great conversation over grapes. Yes, we sampled some fabulous zin grapes the owners, the Amigoni's , just got in for the harvest, see photo. Our personal favorites, that we took home with us, Urban Vaquero and Viognier. Did I mention the amazing and beautifully historic building in the West Bottoms? Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Indoor and outdoor seating is avalible . This is probably the best winery in Missouri. Their wines are reasonably priced and are more dry than sweet. The service is great.

Yelp
Stopped in for drink before nearby dinner. The space is very interesting with a lower bar area and tables upstairs. Some cool pictures of the building surroundings from its stockyards days. We grabbed a glass of cab for my wife and the bartender recommended a local IPA for me. Both were good (even though my wife is not usually a cab person). The staff were very helpful and nice. We did not sample any of the appetizers as we were headed to dinner. There is also a larger space in the back which looks like it is for events or private groups. That area was really cool with a wall of wine barrels and separate a case with awards. A separate bar is also in this part of the space. This was a nice find. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Yelp
I've wanted to go here for over a year, so my anticipation was high. We told them when we walked in the door we were first timers, and Sarah showed us the list of wines in the $6 tastings for the night and poured us our first one. 2015 Viognier - This might have been the best white wine I've ever tried, so we were off to a great start! I was later told by their staff that it's the red wine drinkers favorite, even my wife liked it so that must be a true statement as she tends to avoid white wines. The rest of the reds we sampled had their high's and low's but everyone's palate is different. What I always liked about Amigoni, was their french inspired wines which is different from typical Missouri wines. At this point we just walked around and looked at everything. Such an amazing location to taste, drink wine and enjoy company. We sampled the Cheese Plate and Plowman's Platter which were fun adds to the experience. The wife pulled out a dice game and we quietly played together, only to see other board games scattered about tables so this made us laugh and relax. My wife and I each added 2 extra tastings for $1 a piece and after 2 hours of being at the location couldn't have enjoyed it more. We'll be back as much as we can. Expectations were high and Amigoni Urban Winery delivered!

Yelp
Loved the place! Staff was great. I am not usually a local winery person but this was a treat. The Pinot Gorgio was just delightful.
