Google
This place has some very good coffee. The Americano with mocha flavoring was great. Didn't have to wait long to order. As for seating there is plenty of space. A very open concept design. The chocolate cookie was delicious and so was the brown sugar rice crispy treat. Parking was not hard to find.

Had some coffee and snacks while driving through on our way to Ocean City. The coffee was great, even picked up some fresh roasted beans and I had an egg sandwich on a bagel that was great. Ample seating but it was fairly busy on a Saturday morning

Stopped in for lunch while in town and what a score. Amity coffee roasters hits it out of the park on all fronts. Great vibe with plants, a fire place, industrial chic decor and even a children's area. They are roasting on premises which is greatly appreciated. You know you are getting fresh roasted beans and the smell is amazing. The food was great too. I had a Turkey sandwich with arugula and cranberry chutney and they nailed it. Bread was on point and the slab of turkey breast was juicy and well seasoned. Extremely hard to do with a thick cut of turkey. Had a cup of black coffee and it was great. Very well balanced acidity and flavor was great. The latte art I saw from the barista was impressive. This coffee house is worth a stop if you are passing through or are a local. Highly recommend it.

Google
Great place to have coffee with friends. Comfortable and never pressured to leave! We were there for over 2 hours and only had 1 cup of coffee, some plain and some lattes. Delicious treats available to.

Google
Wonderful, cozy place, plenty of seating though. I loved my hot vanilla latte. We all had a bite of their to die for cinnamon roll. The quiche was delicious. The croissants were too.

Google
Was looking for a good cup of coffee while traveling to Bethany Beach. Amity Coffee came up and I was more than impressed and happy with finding this gem. The layout is spacious but cozy. The staff is friendly and hard working. Coffees were excellent from drip to pour overs. The food selection is very impressive. Highly recommend the quiches. And you must get an espresso cinnamon roll, heated. I had another one on my trip back home. Oh, it’s dog friendly.

Google
Great coffee spot featuring some very good coffee and food options. The atmosphere, while very open, airy, and a warehouse vibe, somehow it still feels cozy and inviting. Large enough that you dont feel like you're having to yell to have a conversation. My wife had an Oatmilk latte, and I had a cold brew. Both were well made, and the cold brew was nice and smooth. If I had to make any suggestion, it would be to move the water station for the food runner to put orders up. Currently, all food and drink get put out at the same spot on the bar and create a bottleneck, especially if you're adding cream to your coffee. Will definitely come back often!

Google
Elmer(I hope I spelled his name right) was absolutely TOP NOTCH!!!! My boyfriend and I walk in, not having been there in years and he just instantly welcomes us and is smiling like he knew us 🥹 He was super knowledgeable and recommended some pretty amazing drinks and food choices. Overall great experience and can’t wait to go back 💖

Yelp
Wow! What a gem! My family & I were driving to the Delaware beaches early morning from a significant distance--we were exhausted and depleted from the drive and were revived by this cozy (while still being spacious!) cafe, nestled on the Main Street of Greenwood, Delaware, an area one must pass through to get to the sea salty air of the beach towns. The coffee at Amity was absolutely delicious--the lattes were perfectly crafted, smooth and with just the right amount of milk & froth to create the much sought after creaminess without losing the flavour of the rich coffee itself. The Americano hit the spot for my other family member--who, too, is a coffee snob and severe coffee critic. Having spent time in Italy, few places in the US ever meet the mark for him, and yet Amity passed the test with flying colors. The green tea latte we ordered was also memorable; a sweet and reviving treat for the family member who had specifically requested it. The place itself was also pleasant and is worth noting. The warm smell of coffee that wafted throughout the spacious establishment was delightful and invigorating; the staff were helpful and efficient and clearly expert barristers. We took a little time to simply sit down and enjoy the smells and warm sense of community the place endows. I very highly recommend stopping here if you find yourself in Greenwood, Delaware and are on route to the beach; I can assure you that you won't regret it! (We didn't manage to eat here though the pastries were inviting! Given the quality of the coffee and the high standards of this cafe, I wouldn't be surprised if their food was quite good as well!)

Yelp
Every time I come to visit, I try different pastries, cookies and if in the afternoon, sandwich's. All made fresh! You can taste the real ingredients in every bite. I just learned today that they make their own coffee flavored syrups for their coffee. It's no wonder when you get a flavored coffee drink, it tastes amazing! Come enjoy this shop. There's a lot of seating and a cozy fireplace for the colder months. The staff are very helpful with drink selections.

Yelp
Delicious and variety of coffee and specials! Many sandwiches and quiche are available. The grilled cheeses is AMAZING! Flavorful and on a thicker white toasted bread with seasonings! The chocolate chip cookie is baked in house and I asked for it warmed, it was perfect. The cold brew shake was very good and you can add flavors to it. The Hot ham and swiss cheese sandwich, which has a sweet honey mustard dressing on a poppyseed bun was so good! It is really big enough for two people to share!

Yelp
Such an awesome cafe. The people are the nicest workers and their coffee is goooood. I will say I wish they had better pastries. Overall a top cafe tho.

Yelp
This coffee shop is a gem!! The service is always exceptional and friendly. The food is incredible. I love the overnight oats, ham and cheese sandwich, and cold brew shake!

Yelp
Fantastic coffee and breakfast options. Loved the cardamom latte! Breakfast croissant is probably the best I have had!

L L.

Yelp
This is a gem. The ambience is friendly --- kids are welcome. The quiche and muffins are excellent as well as the coffee.

Yelp
This place is adorable!! The inside is much larger and spacious than it appears from the sidewalk. They have so many great pastry and baked good options, along with a few breakfast foods too. I saw some really good looking quiches in the case! I opted for the affogato and a monster cookie. There are several tables and other more casual seating options available. They have one huge table that can certainly accommodate a large group. The affogato was out in a few minutes and it was delicious. The espresso was so smooth and flavorful. The cookie was exactly what I was looking for. It was peanut butter-y and had little m&ms inside. It was a little crunchy on the outside, but had a chew in the middle. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Took a bun home to enjoy the next day! Heated slightly and just as delicious as I remember. Happy to see this small town business succeed!

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop on the way to Rehoboth! My hubby and both did a cold brew! It was quick and both baristas were friendly enough, we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
As a coffee nerd, I've tried most the shops in the county and this is by far the best I've had. I use the beans daily for my pour overs, espresso, etc.
google avatar

Yelp
hermoso y acogedor lugar! el servicio es genial! un ambiente muy agradable el café delicioso! y la comida también

Yelp
Probably one of the cutest cafes I've been to! Love the overall decor with the high ceilings and exposed brick. There are a ton of outlets so it's a great place to plug devices and the noise level is manageable that you can get a lot of work done. Plenty of seating available. There is a huge community table in the center, sofas in the corner, and even a kid station with games and books. We came here on a Saturday afternoon. The lavender scone was very light and delicious. I already had coffee that day so I opted for the chai latte...love the milk foam they added. Would come back if I'm ever in the area! There's limited street parking but a fairly large lot in the back.

Clara P.

Yelp
Lovely lovely coffee shop! Wonderful, friendly faces, bookshelf full of classics for all ages, but would be an especially great spot for families. Both our drinks were so delicious it caught us off guard enough that we had to write a review about it. Doing great work Amity!

Yelp
This is a cool coffee shop about an hour away from the Delaware beaches as driven to from the DC metro area. It is a large building with plenty of seating. They offer some small eats but I just had my usual latte. Since they are a coffee roaster I was excited to taste their offerings. I was pleased with the preparation of the drink. The milk was nicely textured on their La Marzocco machine and at a perfect temperature. The barista was even able to draw some good latte art and was done in a nice porcelain mug. The drink was good but had a slightly funny after taste. I'm not exactly sure what it was and I added a little sweetener (which I almost never do) and it was perfectly nice and enjoyable. It's at these times which I am sad that I have to choose a whole number for a rating. I would love to rate it a 4.5 because it was very very good but alas I can't do that and it didn't quite make it to a 5. Overall, if you find yourself on the drive to Bethany or Rehoboth and need some good coffee, then give it a go.

Yelp
This is such a cute place to stop by. Service was very friendly and the menu was extensive, there were lots of fun seasonal specials! We really liked the small selection of local goods for sale too (we picked up a great scented candle).
google avatar

Heidi P.

Yelp
Nice place of the beaten path. They have an area for kids, several people were playing cards or on computers while they enjoyed coffee and baked goods. I enjoyed my tea, and hubby loved the mushroom quiche.
google avatar

Linda R.

Yelp
The name says it all. Super welcoming coffee shop, friendly to all. Lovely and kind employees. A place anyone could feel comfortable with a variety of seating, games, and books and seemingly an area for the kiddos to hang. Also, outdoor seating. The coffee and food options were plentiful. Didn't eat anything but the coffee was quite good. $10 bouquets of flowers too!

K D.

Yelp
The chocolate mousse puff pastry was amazing. Love that they have macadamia milk too.

Yelp
Great fresh coffee. I serve it proudly where run the kitchen. Great service and owners . You must stop in and get some.

Yelp
Lovely coffee, lively staff :) There are a plethora of wonderful hot and cold drink choices; from tea to coffee. Staff has always been very friendly as well!

What a spectacular coffee shop owned by some fantastic people! So glad they are open again! The new space is gorgeous and really inviting. The coffee is as always excellent and the food is great! Glad to call this my local coffee shop! Check it out!!

Yelp
A stunning and unexpected find on the way to the beach. I did a double take as I drove through Delaware and was so pleased to have stopped the car to see what's going on. This great coffee shop roasts the most perfect beans and makes a terrific cup of coffee. The espresso is crisp, clean, and well frankly, perfect in every way. Both the in store espresso and their beans to grind and make at home. I also tried the Bourbon Barrel aged coffee which made a great afternoon brew. Elmer the barista was warm and knowledgeable and treated me like I'd been there for years. Solid sweets and food as well. Amity was so good that I made it a point to stop in on the way back too. If your GPS takes you through Greenwood and love a great cup of coffee, this is a must stop - I'd even suggest punking your GPS suggestion to be sure that this is your stop when going to the beach.

Yelp
Stopped here passing through to Annapolis MD. Amazing food and coffee! I ordered the dirty oat milk chai, harvest quiche, and pumpkin scone. They were all amazing. The scone had a light glaze with just the perfect balance of crumble to moist ratio- pumpkin flavor well balanced -point on. The quiche was excellent with sausage, cheese, and thinly sliced scalloped potato at the crust. Very unique presentation and not too much of any component. I will absolutely put this on my must stop list when i go through this part of the world.

Yelp
Excellent coffee, great baked goods, superb & friendly service. We have made this our stop every year on the way to Dewey Beach. I can't recommend this place enough. And judging it by the amount of other customers, it's pretty popular with the locals as well. Amenities: - Seating inside - Seating outside (4 in total), basking in the morning sun - Customer bathroom

Yelp
This local roaster and coffee shop co-located with an antique store is a great place to be! If you're driving through Greenwood, or in neighboring areas of this cute town, stop by AMITY. I live in Northern Virginia and I'm wishing I had a place like this there. Service is great. Price is definitely affordable and personally I think the coffee is way better than Starbucks or any other place. Met all the baristas and the dedicated baker they have there. All are great and make some amazing coffee and baked goods. The place has a real authentic cute vibe to it. Currently, I am working on some stuff for work while drinking coffee and it's great. Has wifi! I'm a fan!

Yelp
This was my third time here; all three times have been amazing. Last week I was here for the official grand opening and today I came down to pick up some Breakfast Cookies I preordered two days ago. The order was ready when I arrived but I had to eat some breakfast before I left. I had the bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant and a large Dirty Chai. I highly recommend both. Amity is a great place to hang out, relax or socialize.

Yelp
We've passed by this place several dozen times on our way to the beach and finally took the time to stop on our way home from Dewey a couple of weeks ago. The coffee shop is actually inside of a really cute, eclectic shop filled with all kinds of great finds including new and used items. I got the Cafe Americano and it was delicious and super inexpensive. The coffee shop is located in a very cool antique/consignment shop which I briefly explored. I'll definitely be back, both for the coffee and to check out all of the cool stuff in the store with hubby.

Yelp
One of the (excellent) road stand owners on Rt 404 recommended Amity for lattes and other coffee etc. drinks and we're so glad he did. As close to perfection as you can get. And those cookies...they're all good but try the breakfast cookie. OMG. A future must stop for us...and you! Great service with a big smile. Love it.

Yelp
Good coffee and baked goods friendly staff It was the best thing on Main Street. I cant wait for them to reopen

Yelp
SUPER cute and clean place, really friendly service, and amazing coffee. Will definitely be coming back!!

Sam M.

Yelp
A great stop for excellent coffee. Also, love the keisch and cookies. Worth going out of your way when driving to the beach. The only place I still buy coffee from!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
We stopped for a quick iced coffee and a sandwich on our way to the beach. We were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. They have a very small food menu, but the food was very good. I believe there are three sandwich options and three quiche options in addition to some breakfast items and some pastries. My husband is vegetarian and was pleased to see that one of the sandwiches and one of the quiches were vegetarian. The coffee was fantastic and my dirty chai was just the right level of sweetness. Highly recommend this little gem! As an added bonus, it's connected to a really cute antique/quirky gift shop.

Rachael M.

Yelp
Fresh roasted coffee and homemade yummy baked goods. Great stop on the way to or from the beaches. Locals come in to study or work with free Wi-Fi. Great new space in garage of historic Greenwood Fire Station.
google avatar

Priscilla Y.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop that also serves as an antique shop. We stopped by here on our way to the beach. I really enjoyed the mocha and chocolate chip cookie we got. We didn't have time to check it out, but they had some cute home goods and knick knacks. Kind of a hipster kind of place.
google avatar

Cecelia O.

Yelp
I'm a big city girl w a big city attitude towards all things "coffee"... Amity earned the five stars plus some:) The almond cream scone was sublime, btw... wonderful, cozy, warm and welcoming place!
google avatar

Harry B.

Yelp
There is NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER this is a gem of a location that brings life to everything. The antiques and collectibles alongside Amity truly shine in a brighter light due to the amazing comfortable senses that come alive when you are in this authentically realizing coffeeshop. You can watch the coffee beans being prepared, taste the GIGANTIC cookies, soak in the Chai tea that will awake every one of your sense, and Scones or muffins that melt into your tastebuds. This is a MUST STOP and say alot about why Delaware and small-town Eastern Shore is a magical place.
google avatar

Ben D.

Yelp
Awesome pecan scone with cream cheese frosting... great fresh brewed coffee and all reasonably priced. Interesting antiques to check out while sipping coffee. Good stop on a road trip!
google avatar

Cindy D.

Yelp
Love everything about this place. Coffee and desserts to die for and the awesome shopping experience. Just s good ole fashioned country town store. We drive from Seaford all the time. Wish we had one closer. Do not miss. Try all the cookies you won't be sorry.
google avatar

rachel m.

Yelp
an adorable surprise! we ordered a cold brew & an iced dirty chai. definitely going on my "places to stop in delaware on the way to the beach" list.
google avatar

Becky M.

Yelp
This was my first time at this cafe'. It's incredibly cute. It shares a space with an antique store. You are able to browse while you wait. There are a lot of neat items. I'm a local to the area. This is by far the best cafe in the Milford, Georgetown, Ellendale, Greenwood area. They have gluten free options and carry items from the Gluten Free Bakery Girl bakery out of St Michaels. If your headed East from Baltimore or Washington DC make it a pit stop on your next trip. Prices are very reasonable and much healthier and fresher then waiting to go through drive through or going to Starbucks. It will be on your left as you drive down Route 16 through this quaint little town.
google avatar

Tyler T.

Yelp
I have had both a pour over and their new nitro cold brew. I highly recommend as Delaware is severely lacking in the craft coffee department. A stop to Amity will be well worth it!
google avatar

Ilya L.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and quiche, cozy place! Also we bought a cute cup to drink espresso out of for 12$. It says it was made in occupied Japan!
google avatar

Jeff P.

Yelp
Adorable antique shop and coffee shop. They roast their own beans! Amazing cold brew iced coffee and blueberry muffins! It's the perfect stop on your way to or from the beach. They also have ice cream from a local creamery. Worth the stop!
google avatar

Esther B.

Yelp
If you're on your way to or from Rehoboth or Bethany, this is a perfect spot for a coffee break. Don't miss the lemon rosemary shortbread cookies! The brew is on point.

Joline B.

Yelp
Stopped by on way back to DC area from the beach. We were there at lunch time and had a fantastic sandwich and homemade iced tea. This place is a gem and well worth a stop.

Lisa F.

Yelp
Hidden little gem in tiny Greenwood. Worth the visit anytime of the day. A couple tables outside to sit and enjoy your beverage and yummy treat.

Alexis C.

Yelp
Such a cute and yummy little coffee shop! Their cold brew shake and cinnamon rolls are out of this world! You can't forget about the gigantic chocolate chip cookies either! You can find so many fresh treats at this sweet stop!

A S.

Yelp
Amazing stop on the way to the beach! I got a delicious lavender vanilla latte and a slice of quiche which hit the spot. Highly recommended!
