Got the steak and the truffle pizza. Not sure if it’s cause we ordered the “wrong” thing, it was good but not amazing. The truffle pizza was very rich, we recommend sharing it among at least 3 people; we ordered it for 2 person to share and it was a bit too much, personally I could only take 1 slice because it was really creamy and rich. The steak (medium) was well-cooked and seasoned, not beefy at all which is just the way I like it. However, not mind blowing. Probably won’t be coming back unless someone recommends a dish I must get.

We tried their Restaurant Week menu, and was pleased with the experience. The presentation of each dish was on point, the service was attentive, and most importantly, the flavors were excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy well-crafted Italian cuisine!

First impression was a classy ambience and very hospitable service. One in our group was pregnant and the staff offered a pillow to help which was much appreciated. Contrary to earlier reviews about tap water being charged during our visit (Jan 2025) they offered cold tap water without any charge. We really enjoyed the crab meat strozzapreti and meat lovers' pizza. The pizza dough, generosity of toppings, and composition were memorable. Fried artichoke starter is quite good. Arrived 6.30pm and was quiet initially, then filled up by 7.30pm. Made advance booking and easy to do so online. Very nice for group celebration or date night!

Amò @amorestaurantsg has revamped its menu, and definitely worth checking out! The new dishes bring out the best of Italy’s diverse flavours, perfect for sharing and enjoying together. We kicked things off with a comforting Creamy Pumpkin Soup with Truffle Pesto and Piemonte Hazelnuts ($22), followed by the flavourful Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with Rucola, Parmigiano, and Truffle Relish. The homemade Strozzapreti with Jumbo Crab, Tomato, and Mascarpone ($35) was a standout for me—absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the juicy Grilled Wagyu Beef Hanging Tender Tagliata with Truffle Mash ($42) and the smoky, charcoal-grilled Spanish Octopus with Black Olive and Paprika Cream. And of course, we wrapped things up on a sweet note with the classic Amò Tiramisu ($18) and the silky Pannacotta with Blood Orange Caramel ($15). Best Linguine Clam Noodles. Large Plump clams unlike the small ones elsewhere. Cold Eggplant with mixed vegetables was very zesty and refreshing. Beef Ragout with pasta was v good. Dessert was also very good. Overall a very good experience.

@amorestaurantsg has long been one of my favourite Italian spots —casual, unpretentious, and consistently serving great food. They keep things exciting with new creations that keep regulars coming back. While their wood-fired pizzas and homemade pastas are well-loved, their charcoal-grilled mains are just as satisfying. Love the wagyu beef carpaccio with parmigiana and truffle relish. The pumpkin soup is also freshly made with roasted pumpkin. Grilled octopus was perfectly tender. Can’t go wrong with grilled wagyu beef! Don’t leave without trying their panna cotta with blood orange caramel —it’s one of the best, infused with natural vanilla.

Super!!! The food was INCREDIBLE—I’ve been to many Italian restaurants, but none have truly wowed me like this one. Every dish was superb! The service was just as impressive—the waitstaff was very attentive

Tried here a few years ago and didn’t have a chance to return till now. Menu is really really good now. From appetisers to pastas and mains. We had the artichoke fries which crispy and smoky and a good dip, yellowfin tartare was refreshing with avocado, beef carpaccio was fresh and balanced with truffle relish. The pastas were good, especially the homemade chittara with seafood. Mains were ok. Didn’t even have a chance to order pizza. The tiramisu was good.

Second time we visited. All the dishes were wonderful except for the pasta. It was rather bland. It was not as good as we remembered it to be. Maybe the chef had an off day. Of special note though is the roast chicken. It really is to die for. Well worth the visit and will come again. #maneklady #manekeats

Newly opened just 2 months ago, this place is perfect for a chill Friday night out. Good buzz, attentive & amiable servers. They highly recommended their pizzas, but we decided to go for the widely photographed/publicized Boston Lobster tagliatelle for sharing. It was as good as expected, fresh juicy lobster, paired with homemade pasta - left us stuffed. The calamari appetizer was excellent with the aioli, but slightly pricey for the serving. Seafood was very fresh though. Tried the ricotta castagnole too - would highly recommend, but do share with a bigger group. It does get a bit too heavy for just 2 people. However the little fried dough balls were glorious dipped in the alcoholic custard, complete with a burst of salty sweet ricotta in the middle. Bill came up to ~$140 for 2 for the above 3 dishes, without drinks. Will return to try their other dishes!

Good Italian spot on HK Street. This place = my definition of a solid 4/5 stars restaurant. Good food, good service, good wine selection though nothing wow. The highlight here is the pizza - very good dough with generous toppings. Other items - grills, etc. are standard - good quality ingredients with solid execution but nothing particularly notable.

I was surprised by the good reviews. The pizza was alright, the cod fish was abit fishy and tasted blend. And the heirloom tomato salad was so underwhelming. For the prices they charge, it was very disappointing and not worth the trip. We skipped dessert as the food wasn't good. Maybe we ordered the wrong food but we definitely won't be back again.

This was a lovely, chill place for Friday evening with an excellent ambiance. I arrived right around 10pm to catch the kitchen open for another 15 minutes or so. I got the Friday night cocktail special. The bartenders served some yummy spicy olives to start. I was told by the great bartenders to get the pizza. I was not disappointed! I got the pizza (I don't remember the name bc I was blinded by hunger) with the delicious prosciutto and finely minced basil and olive oil and ate the whole thing! #piggypower I also got an old fashioned with a new bourbon they'd just got in and it was phenomenal and didn't break the bank. The owner even shared with me all of the new wines he just brought in on the menu and was very informative and passionate about his work. Just go and experience this place. It's warm and relaxing at the bar!
