We had a private event here for our wedding and are so happy we did! The atmosphere is great but the staff made it even better. We had food catered by the chef from Gimme Gimme and it was delicious. We’re so happy with the way the evening turned out and to have supported a local space that went out of their way to make our evening special. Thanks to Aaron and the team!!

Stopped in on my anniversary this week. My partner and I loved the atmosphere down to the fresh flowers on the tables. Best espresso martini either of us have had! Try the noches de amor cocktail. It is so yummy! Will definitely visit again 🥰

Very cool bar, with a very esoteric vibe. You have to walk through the porch to go in, it’s an old house transformed to a bar. When you go in, in front of you is the bar area and to the sides, which are the living and the dining areas, you’ll find sofas and some formal chairs so you can drink and enjoy the vibe from this bar. The drinks were ok, nothing fancy. The people there were in their 30’s to 60’s age range. The half light ambiance makes it very relaxing and since the music is not that loud it’s a good option to go for drinks and talk. I loved the fact that you can walk and go to different bars, this location is very convenient! We stayed almost 5 blocks from here and the area is very safe to walk around.

Sansibar is a well suited drink. Not to strong not to sweet. My wife got the agua de isla and let me tell you this will kick off the night the strong tone of tequila will definitely put you in that celebration mood ! Love the vibes and atmosphere inside. You have to stop by and have a drink !

Southtowns newest and hottest craft cocktail bar. The vibe is fantastic: great neon but dim lighting, perfect temperature and fantastic fragrance from all the candles. The music is always on point by record spinning dj’s who make it very fun and energetic. Service is top notch by these seasoned bartenders who can create the perfectly balanced cocktail including table servers who are on top if it refilling the house cucumber infused water. Bite options are available which are a spin off from some Mexican inspired favorites. Chicharrones with Valentina sauce, the perfect snack for a proper cocktail. A perfect addition to Southtown. This place is so posh and swanky. I loved the vibe and although popular it didn’t feel crowded. The espresso martinis are to die for and the sweet cream foam on top is delicious.

Everytime I come here, I'm always treated like family. With the best drinks and service in the city. With The most professional honest and incredible hospitality. The cocktails are all a hit! The atmosphere will NOT disappoint! We love amor and they love us!

Nice vibe, good music, chill spot BUT it's Drinks only no bites or food so ordered a drink called noche de amor, no food menu, you have to order drinks at the bar the drink was excellent the music too I definitely recommend the business to do a bites menu.

Amor Eterno is a nice and intimate bar located in Southtown. This bar is located right behind Bar America, across from Rosario's. They have a wide selection of liquors and the mixologist can prepare anything you want. For my first time here I ordered an espresso martini, and it was absolutely perfect. They don't have a lot of sitting space, so keep that in mind if you are coming with a large group. Overall, the service was great and everyone working at Amor Eterno was excellent. Can't wait to come back and try something else from their menu.

okay, i will give good reasons why im giving this place 3 stars, but i genuinely do love the vibes and ambience! It's absolutely GORGEOUS in this bar. So romantic! Make you want to stare at your boo all night long and just be in love. However, what set me off was how expensive the drinks are and how weak they are! We spent about $24 for 2 very small cocktails and my bf and I didn't even taste any alcohol... it just seems like a waste, we would of love to just get a lil buzz in. However, if you want a cute night out with your boo, i recommend, but maybe pre-game a bit before. The bartenders are so nice though! just need a decent size cocktail and more of the booze for about $14 a drink, please.

This bar is kinda hidden on a side street in South Town. It's very unique because of the softcore adult time playing on the television. The bar had a DJ playing some good music and the drinks were tasty. My first drink was the Noches De Amor. It's a nice and refreshing strawberry cocktail. My second drink was the Agua De Isla cocktail. It's a tequila and mezcal cocktail with pineapple. It's pretty good. The bartender was very friendly as well. If you're looking for something different from a bar this is it. Definitely check it out if you have an open mind.

Not in to the rowdy bar scene? This is the perfect place to chill and listen to vintage vinyl records with some of the best handcrafted cocktails in SA. This place is a whole vibe y'all. The music, the intimate, welcoming atmosphere, the soft core 70s porn on the TVs late at night . We love coming to Amor to put the cherry on top of a great night.

Walking back home to King William we needed a pitstop. Small and dark and loud, clubby atmosphere, people out for a good time with friends not necessarily a good place for a couple of old codgers on their way home for the night. However, we enjoyed our Manhattans and had some shrimp from the boys cooking outside. Service was friendly, prompt and expert and it put us in the mood for another stop.

Great place to bring friends, or a date. Very helpful as they try to have a food service outside.

First of all let me tell you, I am the type of person who can appreciate a fully immersive aesthetic experience. This place is such a vibe and definitely gives you what you came for! I met with friends after dinner and I was so captivated with every aspect of this drinkers. From the wooden plank wall, textured fabrics, funky technicolor highlights, and soft core semi 70's porn playing in the background, THIS PLACE GAVE WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO GIVE! I went on a Saturday night and there was a Live DJ. I am an older millennial, and may not have known every 70's tune that was playing, but Bayyyybeee I was gonna learn today! The drinks were lovely and strong, and the ambiance was just everything. My mom is a 70s baby and I told her she HAS to come! I love that San Antonio is finally embracing these types of artistic venues, bars, and eateries. I will most Definitely revisiting!

Our party was carded at the the door, then after we ordered our drinks the bartender made them and was then Carded a 2nd time for no reason. After complying they refused our service and poured our drinks out. I guess if you're white they don't want your money - Thanks for the great memory of what to not look for in a bar

The bar has a dive/speakeasy vibe that's cool without trying too hard. The place is small and on a Saturday late night it's packed. I had some flavored shots which were great. It gave me flashbacks to bars of my youth in the small Mexican towns of Washington, but without the incipient danger. So cool!

Amor Eterno.... Eterno... ohh ohh... Eterno - y'all know that part at the end of the song? What a place. So cute, I wanted to live there. Can I live there? It's a fairly small place and their cocktail menu is simple but the way the bartender's make their drinks- it's a craft. The lighting - dim. It was a Saturday night so it got a little packed. Pricy cocktails but I didn't mind because they were beautifully crafted and presented AND TASTED GREAT! Maple Burbon - 100% Been here at least 5 times and it's a nice spot to meet up with a friend or two. Cool date night spot if you find seats to sip and chat. Would come here again!

One of my top 5 favorite places to meet for a cocktail and good atmosphere. Service never misses, drinks never miss, and the movies they play are always entertaining! Sometimes on Sunday they have a DJ spinning and whoever he is, also never misses with the funky r&b/mood music. I have literally never had a bad or even mediocre experience here and that keeps me coming back. It's laid back enough for a casual hang and sexy enough for a date or special occasion. Crowd is always an interesting mix of people, and even though it does get a little busy service is always fast. Overall, this place is intimate, low key, with killer drinks- try the Noches de Amor if you're a tequila fan.

I stopped by here on a Sunday evening & it wasn't too crowded. I love the ambiance of this place & they had a nice menu of unique concoctions to order from. The staff was very friendly & the DJ was playing great music. I only stayed for one drink but I'll definitely be back. Peace

What a great bar. The music was popping, the drinks were amazing and the space is a deft go to in San Antonio. I'm from Brooklyn NY, visiting my in laws and I couldn't find a spot to visit that I thought lived up to a NY vibe. But this spot is it. I loved it. It's beautiful decorated, the bartenders are entertaining to watch, and the taco truck outside was great. I actually left my glasses here and was freaking out thinking they were gone forever. I DM'd the bar on Instagram and they had my glasses! It was great customer service. If you are queer, BIPOC, trans+ etc this is a safe spot for you! Will definitely come back!

I finally had the chance to visit this bar after months of seeing buzz about it on social media. I came on a Wednesday night event called Wet & Silky. It was a dj set with dancy/r&b sounds all night til 2 am. The ambiance is so snazzy. The lounge area, lamps, tucked away booths, retro neon lights, and low lighting makes this bar perfect for an intimate night. There is a dance floor too for those that like a little bit of groove too. The cocktail menu Is stacked! I had 4 different drinks throughout the night and all of them had good taste and presentation. I think what really tied it all together was the music. The DJ's were spinning wax records which I think added to the bar's authentic charm. I think Wet & Silky describes this spot perfectly.

Wish i could give 0 stars. Yall honestly suck. How are you going to ID us at the door ( which is totally understandable ) then as we proceed to order our drinks the bartender asks us for our id's again just to see them and tell us yeah no were not serving you drinks because of our "attitude". Honestly she was very disrespectful, rude, and treated me like crap. I don't appreciate this as i came here from out of town with high expectations and was treated the way i was. Me and my party were just ordering drinks not causing any issues and were treated like trash. This occured on 09/22/24 at around 12 am so who ever the girl was bartending should honestly put that on the pause and take a class on customer service /hospitality because she sucks at it and cant do her job correctly. Super cute little bar, a fun theme and aesthetic inside as well. The bartenders are patient and knowledgeable, as well as understanding and kind. The drinks are unique and tasty! The only downside is the lack of free parking, but that's majority of that general area.

Eternal Love! This place is a great southtown hidden gem. It's in the spot behind Bar America, in an old house that looks to be super old. The bar has a big ramp that leads up to the big open interior. This bar specializes in cocktails- they have a limited selection of beers- Lone Star, Dos XX. But their tequila and mezcal drinks are what I like about this place. They take their time pouring a paloma blanca and have a few different types of mezcal. Their espresso martinis are made in a big pitcher with previously brewed espresso and fresh coffee beans on top. All of the drinks are mixed up with care and pride. The DJs are the most fun thing about this place. they have lots of local and psychedelic music that jives with whatever kind of weird stuff they throw on the television sets. There's a dance floor, and lots of places to sit inside and out on the patio. The whole place has a cool vibe, like going over to someone's house and drinking with a speakeasy in the corner. The neon signs give off a warm glow and the music is always on point Parking can be a challenge around in here. Be sure to check out the mural of downtown next door on the rear of Bar America!

Great drinks. Quaint little place. Cozy. Because it's so small, I didn't prefer having a DJ. I couldn't hear my friends. And it's more of a cozy bar than a dancing bar, so the DJ seems like too much. But the drinks are fabulous. Would go again.

New intimate bar in Southtown. It's a place that truly captures the essence and culture of San Antonio. The drinks are beautifully crafted, I have yet to try the food. I think it's the perfect setting for a small group or a date night. Favorite drink off the menu, Araceli's Way.

Cool spot. Right behind bar America in southtown and also the same ownership I understand. Very different vibe from bar America. More of a speakeasy vibe. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and they will provide chicharones with hot sauce drizzled on them by request. Definitely a place to stop in and try if your in the Southtown area.

I frequent the pipe corner and had never made it to the back side of the building where Amor is located. I'm so glad I did because I love the vibe here. The decor got better and better as I took it all in. Think of retro decor at a fancy aunts home. It's upscale yet relaxed. Drinks were phenomenal. Hand crafted and ascetically pleasing. The music was gave a chill yet upbeat feel. The longer I was at Amor the more I fell in love with it. This is a dope spot.

Hidden gem! Happened to stumble upon this cool hidden bar after dinner. It was so cute! It is very small inside but very eclectic. I loved the vibe, everyone there was really nice, and it was just a really fun environment. Their drinks were excellent!

This is the coolest, latest hippest spot I have found in MANY months. It's a small intimate restaurant/bar. Great people, the bar tenders are soooo good. Fancy drinks and not even that expensive at all. The waitress was very sweet, recommended lots of yummy things on the menu that me and my boyfriend never tried. We have since been back at least three times and will continue to come back! The bouncer in the front was super cool and attentive as well. We LOVE this spot! Definitely recommend this spot

Amor Eterno is a lovely intimate bar located in the heart of southtown. They offer beautifully crafted cocktails, there is a drink for everyone. They also offer your ordinary brew beverages of that is your preference. The eats are amall portioned but pair well with a nice cocktail. I highly recommend the chicken taco as it is delicious. They do offer reservations but you can come in and they will seat you. The music is great and they do have a dj after 9. Staff is great and are ready for customers.

This place is super amazing and has a good vibe for a great DATE the pizza is so good the mexican my favorite I dont eat pizza at all ,but this one had to try it and going back for more

I went to Amor for the first time about 2 weeks ago with a cousin of mine and was absolutely pleased with it. The ambiance of this tiki bar was fabulous and is the perfect fit for southtown san antonio. The bartenders were well versed and mannered and the dj there that night was playing all the good tunes! Given that it is a tiki based speak easy, the drinks are more cocktail focused than a typical bar with an extensive beer selection. It is a bit smaller inside and out given it was once a small coffee shop, so be prepared to not find too much seating if you go later into the night. Aside from the seating, it is a great place to go with a couple friends to have some cute & tasteful cocktails, socialize and have some great photo ops. I definitely will go back and recommend trying this place out if you are into more of the speakeasy bar scene.
