Amores Tintos - Review - Villa Crespo - Buenos Aires - The Infatuation

"From the outside, Amores Tintos looks like a loud, busy craft beer bar—but get closer and you’ll see the taps actually serve different varieties of wine. Bring some friends and sit at a wooden table on the sidewalk, and share plates of Malbec empanadas or a hearty milanesa. This is the kind of place where you go for “just one drink,” and hours later you're still laughing and ordering extra rounds. If you want to pore over an endless list of bottles from internationally renowned vineyards, this might not be the place for you. But if you’re looking for a heavy pour and a good time on a lively street corner, Amores Tintos is perfect." - Annie Bacher

Enjoyable and reasonably priced night out at this chic wine bar. A large selection of wines on tap, served in a half carafe plus other beverages such as vermouth, beer, gin & tonic. The tapas style menu is quite extensive. We had the croquettes and the dumplings and both were tasty. Friendly service and our server even suggested buying a carafe of the vermouth rather than by the glass, which was an excellent idea which saved us a few pesos.

Lovely place. They serve free water as soon as you sit on the table. The blackboard with all different wine choices above the bar is not updated so when we got our order back they brought a different kind of wine. We liked it anyway but it’s not hard to keep it updated or let the customers know beforehand to avoid confusion.

Low key amazing empanadas. Wine on tap. Servers will happily let you try a sample before you decide your order, but you'll probably end up ordering many different wines because they're all great.

Food was amazing! We ordered Ghoulash and bife de chorizo. Both were delicious and big portions. The prices are very reasonable for the ambiance, food portion and quality. Service was excellent and our server understood little English which was a plus for me. We found Soler location way better than Goritti!!

They have a QR menu. You can sit outside in tents by the sidewalk with overhead heaters or inside. The servers were really quick and polite. The restaurant was packed, but my group's order arrived really fast. I drank the Petit Verdot (red wine), which has a really nice aftertaste. French fries are average at best, so I can't really recommend it. The brie with caramelized apples is very tasty, and the bread is just enough to bring everything together. The main bathrooms are upstairs, clean enough, and i don't know if they have one for people with accessibility needs.
