Amorino Gelato - Plano

The line was long so I thought it would be delicious , but honestly, it was a let down! I have gelato’s in California and in Europe over 10x and this is by far my least favorite! The coffee gelato’s weren’t strong and the mint gelato was powdery! It wasn’t smooth and you feel grind left over! The best one was the chocolate, but i definitely felt let down .

"I stopped by on a busy Friday winter night and the place was packed, but the experience was well worth it! The staff is incredibly polite and patient despite the crowd. The ice cream tastes amazing, but the presentation is the real showstopper—they serve the scoops in a beautiful rose shape on the cone! Pro-tip for first-timers: You pay for the size/quantity first at the counter, and then you get to taste any flavors you like to build your creation. You can mix up to 4 different flavors in one cone or cup. Highly recommend!"

The gelato was amazing but the service was terrible and poorly organized. We waited in line for 45 minutes only to have people cut in front of us and we had to ask one of the employees to help us after we stood there for a few minutes. The store has kiosks to order from but you can’t pick your flavors until you are up front. People who ordered from the kiosk that were 6 people behind us got to go in front because they ordered from the kiosk. I got the chocolate gelato which was really good but I would not recommend coming here at night because of the very long line. I hope Amorino fixes the long wait times by telling customers to order at the kiosk and letting the customers pick their flavors on there.

Best service from Vaughn! He was full of energy and said he can create petals with 8 flavors, so I got to try all the flavors I wanted. He’s the best! He loves to create the rose! Look for him if you’re indecisive like me 🤣

Their gelatos are delicious specially their pistachio flavor but they run out of it pretty fast. Amorino chocolate is my next favorite and then the hazelnut. The best time to get there is before 9:30 PM. Their lines can go very long.

My experience here was amazing! The gentleman who helped me treated me to a macaron to celebrate my engagement. So kind! My mother in law brought me for the first time and I can’t wait to bring my husband! Thank you to the kind gentleman who helped us, you made our night special!

Hot chocolate is just OK, but we love the mango flavored topping for cone and cup. Huge line…not expected as the hype….

Delicious!!!! Everything that we tried was great. Hazelnut chocolate flavor was to die for. Mango Sorbet was amazing. Macaroons were delicious, especially the pistachios one. Service was good. Easy to order on the touch screens . Definitely place to visit.

As first timers ! We hated the kiosks ! The instructions were not too clear ... We stood there for a good lil minute trying to figure out how to make our ice cream selections ! Somewhat I a stressful moment. All the kids (employees) were huddled up together gossiping so no one offered to help. The ice cream was good tho

Amorino Gelato - A sweet stop at Legacy West! Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is elegant and fun, with a European café vibe that makes you want to stay a while. The gelato is not only delicious but beautifully presented in their signature rose-shaped scoops -- such a fun and Instagram-worthy touch! There's a wide variety of flavors to choose from, including classics and some unique options. I love that you can mix as many flavors as you want in one cone without extra charge -- perfect if you're indecisive like me The staff were super friendly and patient while I picked my flavors, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. Whether you're strolling through Legacy West or just in the mood for a stylish sweet treat, Amorino is definitely worth the stop!

My daughter recommended this place. She and one of her friends had been here before. There was a little line when we arrived. We placed our orders on the electronic kiosk and waited for about 10 minutes before we got to the front. My daughter got a cup of strawberry and mango gelato along with a raspberry macaron. I got a cup of strawberry, mango, and lemon (recommended by the server) gelato. The gelato flavors were so delicious and tasty. The lemon gelato was my favorite. I would visit again and next time get the rose inspired gelato, their specialty.

Visited Frisco for a work trip, it's been humid and hot so wanted to grab some sweet and refreshing for the night. The choices are unlimited! I chose a Blueberry Cheesecake, Coffee, Pistachio, Cherry Jubilee and topped it with a Gelato Macaron. Gelato was creamy, refreshing, not too sweet. Wished it didn't melt so fast so I could enjoy it out. Nonetheless, you should give it a try when you're here. There is a line but it goes by quick. You pay first on the kiosk and then you can choose your flavors. There's a restroom in the back to wash up after all the ice cream drips all over you. The place has some seating but more sit down seats outside.

Chilly winter New Year Eve... but still ROSE to the occasion for some rose shaped gelato! Small shop, limited indoor seats, line in U shape. Upon entering, you order & pay at the Kiosk. Then, you provide your name to the staff behind the counter and they check your order from a tablet. So many options, 8 sorbets and 16 gelatos... with UNLIMITED scoop petals! Though they (and myself) highly recommend up to 3 flavors. I personally love the hazelnut, pistachio, and stracciatella together. Thin cone was nice to give that rose stem feel. The lady assisting me was the only staff who wore gloves, and I appreciated her for it. One of my favorite gelato spots in Plano! Next time I'll be back to try their drinks!

This place was buzzing with a good size crowd. I had to look it up on Yelp. And after further review, I was sold. High quality gelato. Get multiple flavors in your cup! Friendly staff. I like their ordering process. Place your order and pay on a kiosk. Get in line, staff calls your name, and you pick your flavors. A definite win here.

Always a good spot to get a sweet treat in Legacy West! They have kiosks as soon as you enter now--which you put your order and name in and pay. You then go in line and wait for your name to be called so you can choose your flavors! I find this more efficient than their old layout where you had to stand in line, order at cashier, and then pick your flavors! Servers are always quick and communicative! It can be crowded and hectic at times, but it's worth it for some delicious gelato!

I realzied that i did not taste ice cream until to test the gelato cone, amazing, delicious Same taste for 5 years

One thing about me, is I love some Gelato, so it was a perfect way to end the evening. Me and my friend shared a cup of the straciatella, chai latte and tiramisu flavors. It's a small space with some seating outside. They have lots of great flavors as well as Macarons and other sweet treats to enjoy!

Delicious gelato and I like new way of lining and ordering. Very smiley serving staff and good space for couple to dine in.

Overhyped and absolutely not worth the wait! On a hot Saturday night at Legacy West, we desperately wanted ice cream and waited in line for over an hour, hoping it would be worth it. I ordered a kids cup with Stracciatella and Dulce de Leche gelato topped with a chocolate macaron. I liked that you could get multiple flavors, but the gelato was just okay--nothing great or memorable. Definitely would skip Amorino!

Amorino hands down makes the most creamy, decadent vegan chocolate gelato. That's all I can say, just amazing... The location is prime and very lovely to enjoy your gelato while shopping.

Wow - delicious ! But pricey. I tried out the small with macaroon. I had chocolate (all versions!) and a pistachio macaroon with whipped cream. Wow. Flavorful (I liked the dark and hazelnut options best) and it was so creamy. Not icy at all. Wonderful flavor and the small was so rich so plenty large. I can't believe I haven't tried this spot before but will definitely be having this again! Service was extremely friendly. They were very kind to newcomers with questions. Seating inside and outside. Plenty of spots around or take to go! Ordering is at kiosks and then you go around to the counter. If there's a long line, don't wait first or it will take a while to get through the line. It's quick but there were a few folks who went directly to the counter and had to start again.

Honestly, I keep going back for the hazelnut and the chocolate ice cream. I know there's so many gelato places in town, but it's really hard to get hazelnut that doesn't taste artificial. I would have to say that it is the best in Dallas for hazelnut ice cream. I'm not too crazy about any of the other flavors because I feel like Botolino in Dallas is much better, but if you like chocolate or hazelnut, this is the go to place

they now have self service ordering which i cant tell if it makes it shorter or not. the flavors are super good and the workers are very knowledgeable on what gelato is and what makes it special. the place is always packed beacuse its in a great spot with lots of flavors. i got mango and chocolate. 10/10/ but pricey. such a cool location an da modern inside.

I see why the customer line was out the door ! I ordered and paid at kiosk which was efficient for the crowd. The offer of the server to try a sample before I made a choice was very welcoming. I had the small cup gelato of dark chocolate and coconut and it was very very fresh and very very delicious. I am ready for my next visit. Yum !!!!

The pistachio was the most delicious I've ever tried in my life. The packaging and service, as well as the interior, were great. I'll definitely come back again!

Lot of colorful flavors draw you in for a cup or cone of gelato. Colorful macarons look delicious and they come large ($6.50) or small ($2.50) each. Their signature cone has the gelato put on with "petal" swipes to look like a flower. Was neat to watch the counter servers do this for $7.30. Nut spreads in jars are available for purchase. They make nice gifts. Get a soft drink or bottle of water or kids juice to grab and go. Line is out the door, but moves. Purchase is on an iPad with a credit card. There are no tables and chairs. Located in Legacy West. Park in a garage.

Easy to order. Touch screens to place your order then through the line to get your food. Excellent gelatos and delicious macarons. Small tables to sit and eat inside but we usually grab and go. First experience this place in London. Food/flavors just as good here.

Our favorite gelato place in the whole DFW metroplex. The ice cream tastes authentic and staff is nice. You can take free samples for different samples and the vibes in there are good.

This place always seems to have a line out the door, but the wait is usually not too long since they are efficient in taking ordered. It's in the perfect location for you to get ice cream and do a little window shopping in Legacy West. I really enjoy their ice creams. They have a variety of flavors and each one is really rich with the right amount of sweetness. I've tried their fruit flavors including passion fruit, mango, strawberry, and lemon. Lemon was one of my favorites since it was really tart and refreshing. I've also tried their other flavors like coffee, chocolate, caramel, tiramisu and I felt like Tiramisu was a must try!

Came for dessert after dinner on Legacy West. Variety of Gelato to choose from with amazing presentation. However, that was not the case. Placed my order and the girl who made my cone was clueless. Sloppy, sloppy crafting. She placed the wrong macaron on my cone, went back and just threw one on that was crumbled on one end. Seems that training is lacking, management supervision of the product being presented to the customers. Not impressed with the flavors or the Gelato at all. Place is nicely decorated, however, would not visit again.

Ice cream seemed just ok to me. Like they used skim milk or something. Macaroon gelato, is an interesting mix, just wish they had more flavors of them. Ordering using the kiosk was a bit confusing,

$35 + tip for 2 good sized buckets with fixins' n one smaller plain bucket of gelato???!! Are we NUTS? Well... YES ...and it was worth every penny n more!!! We walk past this place on our way to dinner at Haywire... It was busy. On the way back it was MORE busy so had to try it. What an exceptional visit. I've not recalled ever seeing a gelato place so heavily staffed and so crazy busy!!! The place had a tinge of clutter needing clean up in the dining area... Service was highly patient & professional for a gelato place. So of course it was not "fast", but that's ok for $35 serving 3 portions. Why 4 stars? I really wanted to give 5... But it was not super exceptional... It was darn close. Beautiful presentation... Attentive service, great portions n variety... Beautiful presentation in the final product...... OK... I'm switching it to 5 stars. I've never had better!!! I lead a sheltered life. I'm gonna rethink my existence & life choices. I really NEED to get out more often to eat more Gelato! (Silent grinning) Oh no... I'm gonna start gaining weight.

I really enjoyed the gelato at Amorino in Legacy West. I went on a Saturday night (10 pm) and we waited around an hour as we weaved our way through the line. It seemed very chaotic, however, it was our first time. My respect for the hard working team. They were real troopers. They were working very hard to attend to the mass of customers. I loved the coconut gelato. The organic chocolate was ok, however, I like my gelato more creamy. I will be going back, however, on a slower day.

Nice place for a late night gelato. Great affogato. They have a lot of ice cream flavors. I tasted a couple and they were all good. Service is fast but be prepared to wait in line.

A rose-shaped blueberry cheesecake Italian Gelato from Amorino Gelato for the win! Topped with a cheesecake gelato macaroon for a double win! Yes please!! This place is strategically located on a high end shopping strip with lots of food options around. Street Parking is a tad bit scarce but they do have parking garages. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The little shop is clean and very well set up. Nice night cap to end your day with a little sweetness.

What a cute little gelato shop right next to Haywire! I ordered an affogato and drank it one sitting quick... it was so yummy. The ice cream was and espresso was delicious! They are very busy so be prepared to wait a bit to make an order, but once you get your dessert all is well!

One of my favorite gelato places in Plano! You can't go wrong with any of the flavors on a hot day. They recently got a new ordering system via tablets and it's a whole lot smoother than in the past. I really enjoy going here every time I am at Legacy West (which is quite often). I am looking forward to coming back here many more times!

The gelato is decadent, creamy, and fresh. One of the best gelato spots in Dallas. The workers here are super nice and helpful and can make your gelato into a rose. I pretty much have liked every flavor I've tried. Perfect sweet treat for a date night walk around Legacy West.

Cute and love that's its in the legacy west strip. Good place to escape the heat for a bit, but a little expensive. Experience is unique in the area as the Gelato is shaped in to petals and you can get a bunch of flavors. Only downside is it will melt quite fast so take pics immediately if you want to enjoy it too lol. Service was very nice! It was busy on a hot day, families were taking verrry long and asking every question possible. They were very patient with them and took the time to make the petals pretty, without being super slow. Caution that it does get busy since it's in such a popular area. Also, the line does not start at the entrance, but at the register inside. So you pay and then get your cone and can leave immediately. Would come again!

Amazing gelato!! So creamy & thick! Worth every penny! They have order ahead feature with self order kiosks make it super easy to order and get your choice of flavors. I ordered the small cup with just plain gelatos. I was told I could get as many as I want in my cup. I got coffee, tiramisu and coconut. Loved every bit of it. Service was fast & friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Litchi raspberry rose Gelato mmmmmmmm get it! Got a kids size in a cup for me and my daughter. Perfect amount for us. Service is fast and efficient and friendly. Lots of flavor options! Little tables out in the front to enjoy in the beautiful weather!

Love their location and the attention to gelato making/flavors is delish! The staff is always friendly and take their time creating the most perfect gelato scooped flower ever.; which is perfect for eating whilst seating outside table and people watch

We are new to the area and placed an order with admittedly low aspirations of finding amazing gelato outside of our Italian vacations. But wow, were we deliciously wrong! You can taste the quality ingredients in every bite. I highly recommend the Mango and Chocolate Hazelnut flavors. While there, don't pass up the opportunity to grab some gelato filled macaroons, this may be the only way I eat them from now on. Overall, it is pricey, but for good reason, and absolutely worth the try. You won't regret it.

We went after dinner and the line was LONG. I will say it went by fast though. I would recommend checking out the flavors online in advance since there are so many. With the large cone we were able to pick as many flavors as we wanted. I think we ended up with four flavors and a macaron too! There's not a lot of space to sit but we enjoyed our gelato as we walked around.

Love this place! My favorite is the hazelnut chocolate and the pistachio. Disclaimer, I would not recommend the classic cone since it's pretty huge! I usually get the small cone and it was the perfect size for me. But for some reason, I decided to get the classic cone tonight and I felt rushed having to eat it, since it was going to melt all over. So if you would like to take your time, I recommend getting a cup along with it!

Most delicious gelato ice cream in its true flavors.. absolutely loved it. Located in the heart of Legacy west opposite True food kitchen and a perfect place to fulfill your sweet tooth desires. love the sessional flavors in this store. The ones I loved the most is a Black curtain, vanilla bourbon, and tiramisu.

This is definitely the place to go if you're ever in the Legacy West area. If you get the cone gelato, they will shape the gelato into a rose and it's really lovely. However, I opted for the cup since it's a million degrees in Texas and if my gelato was going to melt (which it did after 5 minutes), at least I'd have a cup of melted sorbet rather than an empty, soggy cone. You have plenty of flavors to choose from, ranging from creamy flavors to sorbets. You can also add a macaroon on top for additional aesthetics. I got the pineapple yuzu macaroon (which I think might be a limited edition macaroon flavor), and it was really good. Gelato in Italy is still the best I've ever had, but this one is a serious contender.

Nope. Big nope. Do NOT go. Won't ever return Make me order from a computer. Then I'm tipping a computer? No thanks. I'll order from a person. Also told my allergy to an employee to verify something is safe. She shrugged and said I should try it. Wtf?

Great ice cream. Service was quick. They had an ability to order online. They provided plenty of samples and allowed three flavors even in a small size.

This gelateria made us feel like we were back in Italy! The gelato was perfectly smooth, creamy, and delicious. I ordered a small cup and did two flavors (hazelnut chocolate and vanilla). I believe you can do up to three flavors for a small, which is very generous. There were definitely plenty of options between your creamier chocolates, vanillas, and more traditional flavors, plus sorbets of a wide variety. They even had macarons, which I thought was a fun addition. Despite it being a busy Saturday with a line out the door, the staff moved through everyone pretty quickly. It was a gorgeous day, so we opted to sit outside as there was definitely more outdoor than indoor seating. Could see that being a downside during some of the colder months. Overall, really delicious and will definitely be back!

OMG, this is the Starbucks of gelato shops... This is a super nice gelato shop... The gelato is awesome. Well worth the wait in line. A tad pricey but life is to short not to experience the awesome gelato.

Dropped my macroon on accident and they gave me another one! Great service! It was great!
