Amorino Gelato had me hooked from the very first bite—yes, I bite my ice cream instead of licking it… don’t judge me. My first taste was in Rome, then London, then NYC, and let me tell you—never once have I been disappointed. It’s a dream for all the lactose-intolerant folks, and unlike some dairy-free desserts, it doesn’t have that weird powdery aftertaste. The texture is so light, fruity, and refreshing that you can’t help but want more. Honestly, they need to open a location in every Canadian city. Like… now.

I’m not usually a big fan of ice cream and tend to count calories, but your ice cream made me happy in two ways: the indulgent pleasure of the treat and the joy of its delicious taste. I genuinely enjoyed the flavor and appreciated the warm, inviting atmosphere inside. It was the perfect way to end my day. Thank you!

I've been to Amorino in Europe and the experience here is just so much worse! It's self order and the store definitely does not make that clear because many customers and I had no idea, and the workers did not help us at all. It felt stressful and the gelato was overpriced for how it tasted. I will always love nocciola but that was my highlight, overall super disappointed!

Delicious ice cream. Really good coffee also. I tried the pistachio latte and it was creamy, and sweet but not overbearingly so. The sweetness and pistachio flavor were subtle. The interior is quite nice, dim and cozy vibes. Not a whole lot seating which is fine. The staff were young girls, either high school or college age and they weren't very warm or welcoming. You can order your ice cream via a kiosk system but still need to give the front of house staff the ticket? I guess they don't have a ticket machine where they get the guest's orders? It was weird. My husband and I ordered on the machine and then the girls yelled for him to give them the receipt to make the order. Asides from that strangeness, I really enjoyed my first visit here for a sweet treat during date night. I would definitely return and highly recommend others to try them out!

I love this spot from Italy! Especially how they do the cones in the shape of a flower with multiple flavors. But I’ve had better at the other locations in the city

My fiancé and I love to go here whenever our gelato cravings align. The gelato always hits and service is usually speedy with their screen ordering system. Even when I encountered a strange individual in line ahead of me today, who falsely accused me of cutting her, the anticipation of tasting the "amorino chocolate" drowned out this individuals cloudy energy -- a true testament to its flavor.

Delicious dessert for a warm spring day! We visited on a weekday afternoon, there was no line. Staff was very friendly, and we were greatly appreciative there was plenty of seating here. 4.5/5 Pistachio -- definitely a pistachio gelato that can hold its own in the NYC gelato scene! Smooth, rich, nutty -- everything you want in a pistachio gelato! 4/5 Mascarpone Fig - tasted great as well, but the Fig flavor could be stronger.

food exceptional Service Pleasant and friendly Ambiance elegance with charm and sophistication. The mango milkshake and Gourmet Milkshake are favorite indulgence. I recommend becoming a loyalty member you get discounts and coupons to your phone. I know another "sign up program" however, this one is worth it because you will feel decadent enjoying each bite.

Delicious gelato! We waited in line at a Van Leeuwen on Saturday night and decided to skip this and walk over to Amorino. Great decision! This place is authentic European gelato, a chain headquartered outside of Paris. We first stumbled in this gelato place in Paris. This one near NYU is also very good. I went with three friends and we all got a Classic cup with three flavors with a cone.

Currently, IMHO Amerino, on University Place, offers the best iced coffee in NYC. The atmosphere is always attractive. Other cafés have their respective, desirable, utilitarian purposes, but Amerino offers more of a respite from everyday life. The service there is professional and very pleasant. After I praised the iced coffee, which is served in a remarkably designed cup (which has no plastic), the barista described its incredients. Certainly, this rich concoction is not what what ice coffee is made with in most other places.

Delicious! So many great flavors to choose from, but my favorites are chocolate hazelnut and coconut. Their ice cream macaroons are sooo good too!

I've always wanted to try this place, and I'm so glad I finally did! I had their gelato hot chocolate, which was such a unique treat. You get to choose both the gelato flavor and the hot chocolate flavor, and it's the perfect combination. It was incredibly creamy, and I absolutely loved it. The pistachio gelato was rich and packed with flavor! I'll definitely be back to try more flavors soon!

I love this place. My fav is blueberry cheese cake and pistachio ice rose ice cream on a cone. And service is pretty fast my man always goes for me, but I don't wait long in the car

The gelato is excellent. Maybe having gelato is the bright spot of the day, the reward to kids for real effort, a hardship attended to, and while ordering you get a snarky attitude, pretend sarcastic "polite" service, second-guessing, no matter how good the gelato, the nastiness of the server stays with the food.

We came on a Tuesday 6pm and there was no wait to order. They offer a preorder touch pad machine as well. Dog and kid friendly. A family celebrated a 3 yr old bday and they played a birthday song over the speaker system and servers thumped on the counters. Pistachio cream was really delicious creamy and lightly salted and the vanilla cherry Amano was my favorite.

Upon entering Amorino Gelato, you're immediately greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. While the seating may be limited, it adds to the cozy charm of the place. I was pleased to find two convenient kiosks for customers to place their orders, which streamlined the process. I specifically came to Amorino Gelato on a recommendation to savor the Affogato Al Cioccolato, a delightful concoction of gelato crowned with velvety melted chocolate. It didn't disappoint in terms of taste, but it's important to note that it leans on the sweeter side, so those with a less-than-sweet tooth might want to proceed with caution. The staff, I must say, exhibited a mixed bag of friendliness and enthusiasm. While some of the team members were genuinely helpful and approachable, there was one who seemed a bit disinterested. However, despite a minor hiccup with my son's forgotten hot chocolate, they promptly rectified the oversight, leaving us satisfied with the overall experience. In sum, Amorino Gelato provides a pleasant atmosphere and a delectable Affogato Al Cioccolato that's sure to please those with a sweet tooth. While the staff's friendliness can vary, the quality of their offerings makes it a worthwhile visit. Not too shabby at all.

The hot chocolate is the great fresh thick kind you get in Europe. It comes with a choice of whip cream, macaroon, or gelato, with additional cost for the macaroon or gelato. A little pricey at a base cost of $7 or so, but very good and comes with a complimentary little hazelnut biscotti. The service is also very friendly. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the soap was annoying to use and almost fell on the floor. If you're going to a nice cafe like place it would be nice if everything were high quality. It doesn't take much to monitor the bathroom, leave extra toilet paper, and put in a soap dispenser on the wall.

The gelato in a cone were very pretty. They make it into a flower shape. Gelato were also delicious.

A trendy spot for gelato served up in cute little roses -- you order at the counter and can pick up to two flavors per cone. There's a nice outdoor patio to enjoy your dessert. I loved the pistachio flavor but the chocolate was alright IMO, both textures were great!

Some of the friendliest, considerate service I've ever experienced. Answered any and all questions and offered samples and did not skimp at all. Came in for the hot chocolate affogato, somethIng I've always dreamed of existing but hadn't had the pleasure of trying because no one offered it. Amorino came in clutch. Each comes with two scoops of ice cream (you could do two different or the same). I went with tiramisu and salted caramel. The tiramisu gelato actually had lady fingers in it and was topped with cocoa and was so reminiscent of the real deal. Even more impressive, those with celiac or gluten free preferences will be overjoyed to know the lady fingers are gluten free! The gelato itself was silky and creamy and I couldn't tell whether it was the salted caramel flavor I got or the lady fingers that had slightly chewy yet crunchy sugar crystals in the gelato. It was amazing texturally. The sheer amount of ice cream in the cup had me astounded. It's two scoops as I mentioned earlier but lord were they huge. They did not hold back. The hot chocolate was fantastic. I wished there was just a little more of it in the drink but seriously no complaints otherwise because it was all just so spectacular. The flavor wasn't bitter by any means, just silky and thick. So damn good. Will be back for an entire cup of it one day. Cannot believe all this time I was snoozing on Amorino. I understand now why it's worldwide.

I had Amorino Gelato for the first time in Paris a while back and haven't had the chance to taste it again. Even though I was so full from dinner, I knew I had to grab some dessert. I paid for a kid's cup at the kiosk and picked my flavors at the counter. Opted for nutella and dulce de leche; both were very sweet and rich. It's definitely not as good as the one I had in Paris. Also, I should've picked the cone so I get a nice gelato flower. My kid's cup looked so sad since everything started to melt shortly after in the heat.

I stopped by for a quick treat, and I saw that they offered a cafe affogato. The coffee and vanilla ice cream played very well together - the ice cream is so creamy and light, while the coffee maintains a nice rich quality. Ordering was also fairly straightforward - you first order from one of the kiosks and then present the receipt to the staff member at the stand. All in all, it made for a quick sweet treat on a warm day!

Great ice cream! They have a good variety of flavors of great quality, but my favorite are the blueberry cheesecake and the pistachio. The flowers they make on the cones are almost too pretty to eat (but are unfortunately unable to make those flowers for ice cream ordered in cups, which is understandable). If you order during a busy hour, it can take a few minutes to get your order since it takes a bit of time for the staff to place each flower petal around the cone. The store itself is well-sized so there's also plenty of seating that free up pretty quickly! If the ice cream wasn't so pretty, I probably would not frequent here as often, as the ice cream itself is great, but not too special taste-wise.

Amorino has a lot of gelato and sorbet flavors to choose from! They also serve coffee, crepes, waffles and other pastries. You can ask them to make your gelato look like a rose which I pretty fun! You can also add a macaron for extra. Overall, Amorino has really good flavors of gelato but the only negative comment I have is that the servings are pretty small. The staff is really nice and patient; they allow you to try out flavors before making a final decision! The inside is also very spacious and is decorated nicely. There's a couches and a few tables inside and usually 2 tables outside.

Drooling. This ice cream is to die for. Not overly sweet, well-made and a good portion for your dollar. Quick, efficient service and clean area to sit and relax. Will return!

I have been to Amorino in Times Square, Lisbon, & London. At every location, the service is great, the gelato is consistently delicious. They use fresh pistachios and hazelnuts in their gelato, not the artificial flavoring. Also, my friend has an egg allergy and when asked if there are flavors that are egg free, they pointer to a poster showing all of their flavors and each flavor lists ingredients (i.e., eggs, nuts, soy, etc). One of my favorite gelato places and my friend is now a fan too.

Uuuuuuuummmmmmmmm I didn't know this place was this good. My friends always told me about their coffee gelato and the hot chocolates in the winter. I finally got to try them today and I was kind blown. The chocolate hazelnut gelato DELIVERED its flavor to the HIGHEST extent. I felt like I was struck with, surrounded by, bathing in, inhaling hazelnuts while having the chocolate-y heaven at the same time. The blueberry cheesecakes also was done right. Crepe and the dark chocolate sauce complimented the dessert oh so perfectly. Just go there already so you won't waste your time like I did.

My go-to place for Gelato always. They are so rich in flavors and the best part is you can have as many scoops as you want in a cup. I got the Pistachio, hazelnut and amorono chocolate. Loved Pistachio and hazelnut among these. They also have tasting so you get to choose whatever is your favorite. There are bar stools and cozy chairs inside to dine as well. Service was good. Must try place!

Ordered mango + coffee gelato. They shaped it into a fancy flower. It's good but it is pricey for a small cone. Lots of different flavors to choose from. There are plenty of seats inside and outside to enjoy your gelato.

Yummy and creamy gelato and macaroons. Theres some seating inside and an outlet nearby. Cozy ambiance. I would recommend and revisit this location. The only complaint is that there were a few ice chips in the gelato but overall it was very delicious.

Did I mention it's hot and humid!? Used this quick spot to escape the heat. I can't have a lot of dairy so I love when I can find some sorbetto gelato options and in tropical flavors no less. Mango was creamy AF, with passionflower having a light delicate flavor. I am also obsesses with chai so I had to try it, but definitely paid for it later due to my lactose intolerance #notsorry Service was fine, and was not too busy when we went.

I loved the gelato and the vibe at this shop that transports you to Italy. I got the Mascarpone & Fichi (Fig) and the Blueberry Cheesecake in a small cup, and the flavors were so well thought out. The Mascarpone & Fichi had the perfect amount of texture from the fig and I can't even describe it well - it was just so delicious. I would say it was better than the Blueberry Cheesecake, but that was good too. I also appreciated they have a list of all the gelatos and the allergens in them. The store is spacious with lots of seating, tables, and outlets to chill or do work. They have beverages along with gelato so it's a great place to come for any occasion-- it's basically like a cafe. Given that we are losing the quality of food, beverages, and *desserts* for quantity in the mega chain capitalistic society we're in, I can't recommend trying this place enough. It gives you an ethereal feeling of freshness and the undiscovered in the first bite of their gelatos. I can't wait to come back to try their famous Amorino gelato flower.

Ice cream and flowers, two of my favorite things combined. I've always enjoyed their gelato. Recently, my husband and I went to Italy, and he's been searching for hazelnut gelato in New York that could compare. Although we'll probably never get that exact taste here, my husband finally felt like his craving was satisfied.

If this is the same franchise as the Amorino Gelato that I tried in France then it's slightly underwhelming. Unlike the European, one the Macaron is not included, flavors were still okay but not the best gelato in town. I'd recommend the lime basil if you don't mind the slight bitterness of the zest, yet the yogurt tasted more like vanilla so I missed that tart yogurty flavor.

We decided to visit after having dinner nearby. It was quite crowded as it was a hot summer night. There were only a few employees working, and they seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd. There was not a single line either, so it took even longer to order. We got three cones: blueberry cheesecake + melon, pistachio, and chocolate + mango. We thought we could only get two flavors, but the other reviews seem to differ. I love the rose's aesthetics, although the ice cream all began to melt soon after receiving them. It was okay since we devoured and enjoyed them in the outdoor seating area with the cute fairy lights.

They make the PRETTIEST cones!! They shape the gelato as a bunch of petals, and it ends up looking like a flower. Even with the smallest size you can get three flavors, and it's really pretty. I love the fresh, fruity flavors. There are a few seats inside to enjoy the desserts. Service is fast.

Love the gelato, but just noticed that I got overbilled on a recent visit. My receipt said $17.77 for two cones and when I just checked my online credit card account it said that I was billed $27.85. Yikes! Someone from the store should reach out to me because this isn't right.

So happy they do kids sizes since this was all I needed after a big dinner! I do wish my cone had more than one cherry in it though, as that's what I loved about the amarena flavor

I finally tried the Italian hot chocolate with whipped cream on a cold day. It's a very thick consistency and i think the whipped cream helps balance out the richness. I really enjoyed it and not something I'd ever had before

Loved the decoration of this Gelateria. The Ice cream was a little over priced but it was very good. I got a small cup with White Chocolate and Dulce de Leche and my boyfriend got the Red Berry one. All three flavors were delicious. I definitely recommend if you are walking through Times Square. They have 3-4 screens where you order yourself and then you just showed them the receipt for them to make your ice cream. It was a little busy and we had to wait good 15min to order but they have a great variety of flavors and they also sell the rose petal ice cream if you want to get a good Instagram picture!

Gelato was 10/10. I got the coffee flavor in a cone, and it was truly the prettiest flower looking sculpture I've ever seen. The gelato was so soft and smooth. I basically inhaled it. The Greenwich Viallge place is very cute! You definitely get that quaint little icecream shop in nyc vibe. Highly recommend:)

Ordered: The Amorino Signature (~$9): infamous Amorino gelato flower in a chocolate-flavored cone with a macaron on top. Macaron I chose: pistachio. Flavors I chose: refreshing jasmine, mango, strawberry, banana, passionfruit, stracciatella , mascarpone with fig, blueberry cheesecake, and pistachio. Aya's take: omg, the amount of joy this gelato brought me is unreal. I love the variety they have and that you can put as many flavors as you want (until they run out of space really). Pro tip: tell them your favorite flavor first because that will be the base before adding other flavors you want around it to create the flower shape.

strong coffee and sweet ice cream- this place has both. nice and accomodating place. AC is a big plus during hot weather.

Stumbled across this cute gelato place in UWS and stopped by because I saw a sign that says they have hot chocolate. I tried this place in Europe for the gelato flower cone and loved it! I was happily surprised they have hot chocolate so I was super excited to try. Love that they have dairy free milk options and different flavors of hot chocolate to choose from! My friend and I got the almond flavor hot chocolate with oat milk. They also have the option to add whip cream. The hot chocolate was a little too rich, thick, and creamy for my liking. Overall, I like the gelato here more than the hot chocolate.

Plenty of outdoor seating as well as inside and the people from the neighborhood as well as employees are pretty friendly and looks to be a nice spot to chill. Didnt get a chance to try the gelatos or icecream so the review is just based on how vibrant this place feels and location.
