Updated review October 2022: Second visit, gave it a second chance. Employee customer service attitudes are probably even worse, if even possible. And let’s get real about ice cream prices, $12 for a minuscule cup and a small cone, given to you, begrudgingly by hostile employees, is completely absurd. The flavors were decent, but I won’t be back. Who needs the prices or attitude? First review 2021: Ice cream was delicious. A little pricey but very good. Good a/c on a hot day. Employee attitudes aren’t great, it’s a little weird, so I took off a star. Also what is the rationale for not permitting tastes? Covid risks don’t apply, so don’t be so cheap. That’s how ice cream parlors operate.

Love this place! The ice cream is absolutely amazing. Came here on a Monday afternoon with coworkers for an afternoon snack. They let us sample a number of flavors. I eventually chose the chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups mixed in. Also, it was cool to learn that each location has its own signature flavor not carried elsewhere. This totally makes me want to visit the other locations and try out their signature flavor.

Really good ice cream with ample funky choices that have a ton of mix-ins. If you like Ben and Jerry's, you would most likely love Ample hills. Prices are quite good ($8 for 3 scoops), texture is insanely good (rich and stretchy) and flavors are plenty (>15 with 2 vegan sorbets), delicious and unique. They also have a happy hour Wednesday 4-6 pm and also sell ice cream cakes, pints, hot beverages and give toppings options for $1. I got a flight which had 6 flavors (small scoops) for $8 which was a really good deal. Of the flavors I had, my favorites were the pistachio square, ooey gooey butter cake and spruce goose (banana and fudge).

Easily one of the best I’ve cream shops in the city. They have birthday cake waffle cones, a taco chaper, candy cups, and FLIGHTS. Apparently, breweries are not the only ones who offer flights. Naturally I had to go with this and try 6 flavors on my first visit. 6/6 all were incredible. The ooey gooey butter cake was my favorite with the orange sherbet a close second. Great staff and lots of indoor seating for a hot day.

I love the ice cream flight because I get to try even more flavors! It was very cute in the six pack egg carton. I felt bad for the employees since they didn’t seem very happy; but the ice cream was good. The art is also very cute! Tried the ooey gooey butter cake, coffee pumpkin, cereal, cookies and sweet cream, and some other cookies one.

Went here after work yesterday and to my surprise, it wasn’t too crowded. It was a nice and sunny day too. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly and patient as I decided on what flavor to get. I noticed that the milk and honey was a flavor I’ve never seen before and to sample it. It was SO good! You could definitely taste the honey, and high quality honey (reminded me of Golden Blossom honey brand to be specific), with bits of crunchy cinnamon bun matzoh that added a bit of saltiness from the matzoh (I think). I ended up ordering the milk and honey with my go-to flavor ooey gooey butter cake.

Ample hills never fails to satisfy! So many creative ice cream flavors with generous mix-ins. If you are in a group of 2 or 3, I highly recommend sharing a flight instead of getting separate scoops - they give you 6 scoops in a cute little half-dozen egg carton so you’ll get to try more flavors and feel just as full at half the total price. Some of my flavor highlights are: Peppermint Pattie, oatmeal lace, chocolate milk & cookies, and baked unbaked.

Very cool ice cream shop on 8th ave between 16th and 17th street. I think this is a new location because the Google map isn't updated to show the store. They make their own ice cream flavors and they are really good. They have cones or cups for the ice cream you choose and many toppings to choose from. There are also a few tables to sit inside to eat your ice cream.
