Building Owner Terminates Lease Early on Virginia-Highland Tapas Restaurant Local Luna Following Shooting in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Sitting on the edge of Piedmont Park and the Virginia-Highland neighborhood, Amsterdam Walk is a retail and dining complex owned by Halpern Enterprises that became the site of Loca Luna's recent eviction; the complex houses several eateries and bars and has been the focus of the company's concern about safety and unlawful activity at tenant businesses." - Beth McKibben

I ate at Loca Luna. I was with a large party (lots of separate checks) and the staff handled it well. We had an appetizer tasting of eight starters. So much food! No one was left out of trying the multiple platters of each appetizer that were brought out. I loved the calamari and the craprese salad. We also had the veggie and seafood paelle. I was surprised that I enjoyed the veggie one the most. I'm a seafood lover. I would be remiss if I didn't recommend the blood orange margarita. It wasn't too sweet. This is a great place for large groups. They had live music.

This is for Catch Air. Great place for toddlers to run around. Affordable. My nephew loves this place. Make sure the you all are wearing socks and do your waiver before arriving... be sure to get the scan card for easy check in. Also have the little ones in comfortable clothing.

This place is hub for making money from parking spots. Went to a restaurant in Amsterdam walk for pick in 15 mins to get my food out. I was booted for it and they are rude and about to run over us because we showed the proof of bill of the place. He was not happy and kept arguing with us even after paying the money. Luckily I got in time and pulled my girl out before we got hit by the boot guy. Never recommend this place for anyone for hangout

Nice little cove of shops and restaurants, I plan to visit again. The skyline in the background is one my favorite things about here.

Lovely historic, Amsterdam Walk mall with dozens of family-owned businesses ❤ is endangered! Ballet class, Doggie daycare, Swimmerman pool, gym, Worthmore, & iconic Red Light Cafe may all be lost! The "Better Amsterdam Walk" neighbor group has been fighting Halpern & Portman developers for 2 years now. They want to demolish Amsterdam Walk & build 1,100 high end rentals or Airbnb & 1,450 parking spots in this tiny cul de sac lot. Sign our Change.org & email Atl city council today for right-size development.

Spent 45 mins getting food, walked past car to see what loud music was. Walked back to car 5 mins later had a boot. Thanks a lot, do not recommend.
