We had the pleasure of working with Amy Karp as our photographer, and I must say that her work is truly unmatched. Amy's photography is of editorial quality, and her attention to detail is impeccable. Every shot she took was a work of art, and her creative eye shone through in every frame. From start to finish, our experience with her was exceptional. She not only captured stunning moments but also created an atmosphere where we felt at ease and could genuinely be ourselves. Amy was recommended to me by a friend and was such a pleasure to work with. She was professional and paid attention to the little details that made the day! My husband and I are not huge photo-takers, but Amy made us feel comfortable, gave great direction and had good ideas on locations for photos. Not to mention she had a great personality and funny! From day 1 when I inquired about her services all the way to gallery delivery, Amy was organized, professional and great to work with. She is an absolute joy to be around. John, her husband and second shooter, is equally as amazing. He made my husband and friends feel extremely comfortable and at ease during their portraits. I fully trusted Amy and John to capture our wedding weekend perfectly, but they knocked it out of the park and exceeded my expectations!

Where to begin... Amy is simply wonderful. She came highly recommended to me, and she did not disappoint. Amy gives direction, makes you feel extremely comfortable and is just the best. Amy’s work is absolutely beautiful, she pays attention to all the details and does not miss a beat. I also got to do my boudoir shoot with Amy, and highly recommend her for this as well. My husband and I look forward to working with her again for future family shoots.

We hired Amy Karp for our engagement photos and our wedding. Her work is hands down flawless!! She was so much fun to work with and our photos truly turned out spectacular. It was cold, wet and rainy on my wedding day but you would never know that when looking at our wedding photos! For our engagement session, I had a general idea of what I wanted for our engagement photos prior to the session, but I didn't know every detail. When I told Amy that I had a red dress as one of my outfits, she gasped and said she knew exactly where to go! She took us to the colorful mural wall at the Dallas Museum of Art and the pictures turned out absolutely stunning. Amy is an extremely talented photographer and I am so thankful that she captured the happiest day of my life on film!

Amy is extremely professional, creative and makes all her clients feel like they are her most important. She has a friendly attitude that makes everyone she photographs feel instantly at ease. I especially appreciated her unique and modern perspective at our wedding and we have since hired her for family photos. It has been a delight to share in our family’s most special memories with Amy.

I can not say enough good things about Amy and Jon. Choosing them as our photographers was probably one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Not only are their photos breathtaking, but they were such a joy to have as part of our wedding day! They fit in as though they were part of the family and captured each precious moment flawlessly. Amy was great! Used her for my surprise engagement and she was very accommodating and knowledgeable about best times/poses/backgrounds. She was sneaky and my fiancé had no clue when we walked past her that she was waiting for us. Then post engagement during our session she made my fiancé feel very comfortable and beautiful. Our pictures were amazing and would absolutely recommend her!

Amy shot our engagement and wedding photos. - Logistics: Extremely organized, prompt and uses her time wisely. - Personality: Amy is really fun and did a great job making sure we were relaxed throughout the engagement photo session and wedding day. - Photos: They turned out lovely! One session was in the summer with a ton of natural light and the other was in the winter with less natural light to work with. Amy did an incredible job with both. So grateful we picked Amy. We hired Amy to photograph our wedding, and we could not have been more pleased! We are not good a posing, and she did a great job telling us how to stand to make our photos look amazing! Amy and her husband (who served as her second shooter) are so fun to be with and make you feel really comfortable. I anticipate hiring them again in the future to take more family pictures throughout the years. She is the best in the business, and I am so happy that we hired her!

Amy did our wedding photos and they are amazing! I would have a wedding every year if she would do the photos. She has a true artistic eye to beauty. Our wedding day was complete because of her beautiful photos!!! I highly recommend her. She is the best!

What can I say about Amy? She is a ridiculously talented photographer. But the best part is how wonderfu she is. From the moment I met her I knew she was the perfect person to capture the memories we wanted from our vow renewal celebration. Not only was she on time and used a second photographer at no cost to us but she was very sweet and kind to all our guests and family. Everyone loved her and she made our day extra special. Amy did a fabulous job on our engagement photos. My fiance and I aren't great in front of a camera, but Amy made us feel totally relaxed and comfortable. She brings a lot of creativity to her shoots as well, and has a great eye for interesting light and unusual composition. Our photos included a wide range of images, from traditional, to creative, to candid. It was exactly what we were looking for, and I highly recommend her.

Looking for a photographer for our wedding, i knew what i was looking for,(artistic, picture quality, angles, color, etc. ). When I came across Amy Karp on google ( i just google Dallas photographers), i immediately knew she was the one! I loved her photo style and the picture quality of her work. From day one, she was a trooper along with us, as we had to take our engagement pictures in 30 degree weather in Downtown Dallas. She kept our energy up with hers (in the cold), and made us feel like we knew her really quick in one day. After that it was a very comfortable experience dealing with her throughout the whole year leading up to the wedding. She also did my bridal portraits, which she was up to try at a spot she hadn't tried yet, The Statler. We got some amazing shots! (you have to have permission, as we kept getting asked if we did, which i had gotten the ok). All in all, just saying she was great the whole time! Wedding day couldn't have been better either! The only thing I would say for wedding, she gives a pre-made worksheet which asks if you would like any special poses, pictures or with anyone in particular. I wish we could've made sure she had all my picture shots i wanted, but she had assured me that a bunch of those were already her regular shots, and some were still missed. (like bride and all groomsmen, and more pictures of individual guests, and MY DJ). Otherwise, overall we had a great experience with her and her work, and her return time for edits and giving you photos is a pretty quick turnaround!She wont disappoint.

Amy was incredible to work with. I really enjoyed going through the photos after we received them. She was very professional, but she still had fun with us and was very flexible with everything. We consulted with her several times before our wedding and she was easily the best vendor we worked with. I would never recommend another photographer.

Her ability to get to the heart of her clients emotions and capture that on film is a gift.
