My family has been coming here since I was a kid. They are so amazing, Cathy found out I had a gluten allergy and helped to modify dishes so that they were safe for me to order. I really appreciate how much they care about their customers. The food has always been amazing too! Always our go to take out spot!

Great decently priced Chinese food. They always have your food ready quickly too. I usually get general tso’s chicken with veggie fried rice. It’s always tasty

Hand lunch here. The service was quick and friendly. A lunch box came with an entree and either soda or soup. I ordered beef with green bean and spicy & sour soup. They were okay. The ingredients were fresh. I just don’t like too much brown sauce. The price was very reasonable. The portion was decent. The place was clean.

Amy’s Chinese Restaurant has the best sesame chicken in Queens! I love the fact that the sesame chicken is just pure white meat and the sauce is so sweet and delicious. My girlfriend loves the food so we always get the large Sesame Chicken with 2 sodas. Very high quality food, the lady at the register is very nice and patient! We will always come back for the delicious food and service! Thank you Amy’s !

Amy's is a lovely gem. Blink and you will miss it but for such a small place they turn out some very good American Chinese food. The staff is pleasant and efficient, the area is clean and they do have a sauce assortment available to patrons. (This may not seem like a big deal but I don't see it much anymore). The food was hot, generous and flavorful and most importantly not full of oil or grease. The egg rolls are crisp and not too salty. The vegetables were crisp and fresh along with a sauce I cannot express fully. Spicy but not overwhelming with a nice sweetness. I usually cannot finish an entire meal but Amy's was too good to pass up

The lunch specials are especially great. My favorite are the jumbo shrimp with lobster sauce and the pork chops with salt and pepper - both done very well. The manager is also always very cheerful and friendly.

This marvelous restaurant takes the standard suburban Chinese restaurant menu, and gives it a substantial boost with more authentic choices. My personfal favorite is their vegetable egg goo young, which has spoiled me to buy thie dish anywhere else. Their fry bread is delicious and a bargain. The staff here always super pleasant. They'll be even better if they add roast duck to their repertoire, but they are plenty good as it is.

Your local friendly American Chinese takeout place with all the fixings. My choices are the wontons and fried chicken wings. Of course you want a side of pork ribs too. Enjoy

Best Chinese Takeout spot in Flushing/Bayside. I order from here often and the prices are great, food is really good. Have tried a variety of dishes and all of them have been delicious. I crave their General Tso's Chicken. If I could I would eat it almost everyday. Their Egg Foo Young is very good and the sauce is not made of that thick corn starch gravy. Their fried rice is not that strange yellow coloring and everything tastes freshly made on the spot.

Said they used Gluten-Free soy Sauce. I ate and reacted w dermatitis. Now I called and they said they *don't* use GF soy sauce (even though when I visited she showed me the bottle of GF "used") and only white sauce. So to clarify today I asked what dish I could get with GF soy sauce because I don't enjoy white sauce. She said nothing is made with it. Serious mid information. Would not recommend if celiac.

New customer. Ordered food to be delivered. I live a little over a mile away from Amy's, yet waited over an hour. When the food finally arrived: Chicken with black bean sauce and hot and sour soup weren't even warm and supposedly steamed juicy pork buns were dry and stale. They must have been left over from a couple of days ago. I guess they don't care if they lose a new customer. Very poor first impression MegP 1/31/25

Ordered here last night and it was definitely something good, the service was fast since I ordered from seamless. The French fries was a little soggy but I like it that way, and the chicken was flavorful . The veggie friend rice was tasty as well. I do recommend this restaurant to others.

Placed an order at 5:30pm. Was given a delivery time of 6:10pm. Giving them a 10 minute windows, I called the restaurant at 6:20pm. After ringing for a couple of minutes, a woman answered and when I inquired about my order I was told that they didn't even start to make cook it. Told maybe 20-30 minutes more. No apologies no nothing. The food maybe good but in my neighborhood (Bayside) there are plenty of Chinese takeouts just as good. So it all comes down to customer service which I can describe in one word...SUCKS!

Always on point with the food but my go to with them is there wonton soup so good also got beef and broccoli OMG so good and I still wanted more and more that's how good it was.. they wont disappoint - try it

I had amazing experience today, I bought 5 lunches for my family and the food was amazing! We have been searching for an authentic restaurant and now we have. We will be coming here regularly now.

Before I even tried the food here at Amy's Chinese restaurant, I was very impressed by Kathy, who took my order. Usually the people taking the orders even if their the boss or manager do Not have a pleasant personality. And then, for me at least I would never return to the place even if the food was fantastic. I already ordered extra food to take out and will 100 percent be back here again.

Order all the time. Food is great. Staff is friendly. Consistently good Chinese food. I call the order in. Wait 5 minutes. Walk over and the food is ready.

Tried some classics. Food tasted interesting, little different from the norm take out I am used to. The pork dumplings were very bready and thick with bread flavor which I didn't like. The lomein tasted too garlicky and Salty but it was still solid. The fried rice tasted standard. Nothing crazy not bad but I have had way better.

General Tso chicken not bad, very little broccoli but otherwisethe sauce was cery tasty. I had the eggplant and chicken and that is actually very good, sauce is on the thicker side so it goes well with rice. Wife order mai fun curry noodles with chicken, shrimp and pork, also very good and tasty. I have to say they sre very dependable and consistent in taste and quality.

Stopped by for a snack and they had it prepared very quickly. Thank goodness i was so hungry. Front desk girl was kind and quick! My egg roll was a little too deep fried but good nonetheless

value city my family and I have been getting takeout from here for almost a decade. can say with confidence that they make fantastic food at a very reasonable price. our go-to's are the curry chicken (ask for extra curry in the sauce), chicken broccoli, and chicken wings. unlike other takeout places, they don't skimp on the protein. always fresh, tender, and packed with flavor the lunch special is a good deal but the regularly priced items are equally good value considering the amount of the main dish you get. despite all the inflation, their prices have actually not increased that much either

Take out only Chinese place. Friendly service. Got the special combo plate ( include egg roll and ham fried rice): general Tso chicken $ 10.25, Sautéed chicken with baby shrimp $9.85. Portion was very generous. The meat occupied half of the box plus covered the rice on the other side. Ingredients was fresh. Tasted good. One star taken away due to fried rice too 'wet', not enough wok chi. Tips: Called ahead for pick up. It takes little longer than usual chinese takeouts. Closed Sunday. Credit Credit accepted but extra fee.

It's not always about what happened, it's about how you make up for it. The restaurant sent us one wrong meal out of 4. I called to notify them and the owner, Katie, answered. I explained what happened and she not only apologized but offered to pay for the correct order personally, so that I wouldn't have to pay again. The issue was that I ordered the food through door dash because the restaurant is over the delivery distance limit. So, her personal driver was not able to bring me the order. All I did was reorder the food on door dash and I sent her the bill and she reimbursed me in full. This type of customer service is rarely displayed and needs to not only be recognized, but celebrated regularly. Personal shout out to Katie and the entire staff. Not only is their customer service amazing, they are very polite, and the food is always fresh and delicious. We have plenty of Chinese restaurants in our local neighborhood but we pay the extra fee just for Amy's. We've even eaten at the site once or twice and are always dealt with legit. Vibes are always up. Katie, thank you. What you did was very kind, professional and I won't forget it. I rarely ever "Yelp" but I took time out of my schedule to do this because it was well earned. That's how rare great customer service is. Thanks again! 5 stars all the way!

Ordered General tso chicken combo plate, was very sub far. Not enough sauce, chicken was not great, fried rice tasted burnt and stale. However, I always like the fast friendly service.

best chinese restaurant in the entire world i wish i could give a higher rating, this place deserves way more hype and the people are really friendly and make really good and fresh food. please only get from here, they NEVER ONCE DISAPPOINTED ME! i love this restaurant so much, i truly recommend this place to anybody who enjoys food and hot meals that are prepared fresh im very glad to have discovered such a hidden gem here!! always remember to tip guys, they work very hard and are amazing people thank you so much amys chinese restaurant for everything!!!

It was a rainy Friday late afternoon and I was craving some hot Chinese food. Ordered it from their website for delivery! It was fast, hot and delicious! I got a beef chow fun, general tso chicken w/chicken fried rice and an egg roll! I will order again from here.

Got take out from this place and enjoyed my food. It was nothing great but was pretty good and comparable to other Chinese restaurants and was an affordable food option. Would order from here again next time I'm in the area.

Best Chinese take-out in Bayside! Great lunch specials with good portion sizes. There is also a huge authentic Chinese dish menu to the right of the ordering table. We ordered a lot of the authentic dishes which were very well done.

Brief overview of my first time ordering from here -Chicken and broccoli: 5/5 saucy, can't go wrong with it -Hot and sour soup: 4/5 adequate -Egg drop soup: 0/5 I think they completely forgot to season it. it's a 3/5 after adding soy sauce -Garlic beef: 3/5 randomly too sweet but the fried rice that comes with their lunch special is pretty good -Fresh garlic chicken: 4/5 not very garlicky but overall well seasoned, a little but of buttery flavor -Chicken skewers: 3/5 dry but the flavor is pretty decent -Beef skewers: 0/5 it's like they slapped a piece of beef jerky on a stick. like seriously it wasn't even cut into pieces my jaw hurt from chewing Overall I would come back and giggles for chicken and broccoli and that's pretty much it

With many restaurants falling off during covid times, and many closing, it's been hard to find decent America chinese food around here (in Flushing? Really. Yes in Flushing). Amy's has become The BEST Chinese food in the area. Hands down. I mean they've always been good, and consistently delicious. But since they don't deliver to my area, we try to find places that do. With our close places tapping out, when craving Chinese food, we don't mind driving to pick it up. Their fried rice is amongst the BEST I've had. They general Tso, lomein, nuggets, chicken and broccoli, ALL GREAT! If you're craving good Chinese food, give Amy's a go. You won't be disappointed.

Thank god this place is still up and running! Ordered takeout when hungover! Crispy chicken wings-- on point! Best cheap crispy chicken wings Can't go wrong with the Beef lo mein. Honestly, this place really doesn't go heavy with the oil. The beef lo mein actually tasted better than other Chinese restaurants. And the price-- you can't beat the price! So worth it!!

The chicken and broccoli was really good. I got the combo with white rice, and there was a lot of sauce that coated everything and made it super yummy -- Would recommend

For a take out Chinese place I give it 5 stars because of the flavor and internal dining space being larger than normal for take out. They do catering orders and the food doesn't disappoint. Prices very reasonable and quick turnaround. Definitly come here for your Chinese take out fix.

Worst Chinese takeout place! Ordered a moo goo gai pan and got a call from the delivery person more than an hour later, and we only live two blocks away! Tried calling the restaurant asking where the food was and no one picked up! Never ordering from them again!

Nice people, mediocre food. Ordered pork in garlic sauce lunch: nothing special about it. Egg roll bland, cook must've confused sugar for garlic. I mean to give it 2.5 stars, because it's in the middle. Mediocre.

Based on prior reviews online, I tried Amy's for the first time this evening. I placed my delivery order on Seamless as it projected the time of arrival to be 35-45 minutes... My order wound up delivering 90 minutes after placing the order... double the projected and reasonable time. On top of that, the food was nothing special

So far I think I can't give a fair star for reg chinese restaurant for this . The fried chicken is too salty and dried , I can't even finished one piece.

I was so shock that this place is so delicious! It is NOT bland and it is NOT just salty. It is very delicious- we live by 4 chinese take out places all close by- but we always end up calling Amy's (which is far) and it is worth it everytime. The delivery driver is so nice and courteous. The lady answering the phone is very sweet too.

Excellent Chinese takeout with a few extras that aren't normally found on the menu of the typical neighborhood spot. I ordered the country style pork belly and it was fantastic. Tender with a nice glaze of soy and traditional brown braising sauce.

I ordered from here last night and I've ordered a couple times in the past . I can't complain about any of the dishes I have ate . They are quick with delivery , food is always hot and yummy . The prices are reasonable also! Last night I got the general tso's chicken , it was spicy and delicious ! They packed the container with so much chicken and a few pieces of broccoli, just how I like it lol . I also got a side order of fried pork dumplings, which was also very good . My husband got the seasame chicken , he had no complaints with his food either . We will definitely continue to order from here because it's hard to find a good Chinese food spot . Oh and also if you order a certain amount you get free stuff ! Who doesn't like free ?! Either egg rolls , soup or 2 cans of soda your choice .

God awful. The pork fried Rice was disgusting with microscope pieces of pork. The BBQ chicken sticks were so bad I had one bite and felt nauseous immediately. They had a real off taste and were mostly fat. The egg roles were small. Even the free dried noodles tasted weird. The wonton was ok. The best part of the meal was the shrimp toast. Never ever again. I'm sick just thinking about my experience.
