Amy's Déjeuner Brunch Gâteries

Looking for a good breakfast/brunch because I am in the west island and stumble this place from people recommending this place from the internet. When I came, the place is already packed and I need to wait for like 7 minutes before getting seated. The atmosphere looks like a family dinner and it is loud, but we still able to talk and hear each other. There are a lot of menus to be offer and a lot of choices to be choose. Their mashes potato is really good and unique, haven’t seen a mashed potato like that in a breakfast/brunch restaurant so far. They also have donuts and this donut is also good. Because they said that it’s a homemade donut, once they are gone, they are not making it until the closing and you need to visit there the next day to get a particular donut flavour that you want.

Great breakfast/brunch place. Affordable prices compared to its competitors. Lots of menu options. Quality of food is excellent and great portion size. Even though we went an hour before closing, service and food were still great!

My family went to Amy’s last Saturday for breakfast. The smashed potatoes are amazing! I ordered a simple poached eggs with crepes and bacon and potato. Delish! Generous potions. The service was efficient and our server Richard was a gem. We will be going back for a brunch in the near future!

The food was pretty good. Food was hot and the bacon cooked to perfection....and you get a lot of it. Amazing and intentive staff. Oh the most important part....thier homemade donuts.....delicious

We went on a Saturday morning, and the place was packed. We waited in line for about 35 minutes, but it was worth it. The staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time. The coffee wasn’t great, but the prices are very reasonable. The real challenge is picking something from the menu, there are over 100 items! I’d suggest deciding what you want while you’re waiting in line to speed things up. We tried a few different dishes, and everything tasted good. Just know this isn’t a fancy brunch spot, it’s more of a no-frills place where you get solid food for a fair price. They also have a bunch of smoothies and juices. We tried a few, but they were just okay, more yogurt than actual fruit, so they didn’t really stand out. The washrooms were clean, which is always appreciated. It’s understandable that it gets crazy busy on weekends, but it would’ve been nice to at least be offered a glass of water, we had to ask a couple of times. There’s a free parking lot, and finding a spot wasn’t too hard. Just plan ahead and be ready to wait in line, especially on weekends. And it’s a family business and was told that the chef owns and runs the place, so support them!

Amy’s Brunch is excellent! The portions are generous and shareable if you’re not a big eater. Service was a bit slow, but they gave us a heads-up since it was busy. It could have been a 5-star experience, but I’m deducting 1 star because they began next-day prep while we were eating, including sweeping with a broom nearby. This felt unhygienic and disrespectful, as it stirred up dust and could land on the food. Something for the owner to keep in mind: this type of cleaning should be reserved for after closing.

I went to brunch here with my sister on a Saturday morning. Upon arriving, you give your name to the hostess and wait for them to call you. There was a line at first but it moved fairly quickly. The food was great with affordable prices. We ordered the Twins and the House chicken tenders and waffles. Both meals were generously portioned and yummy. The service was ok and not attentioned, but it was quite busy. As for the atmosphere, this is a great place for big groups and family, so it can be quite loud. Overall, we had a decent time with a great meal.

Delicious large portions! The smashed potatoes are a must! There was a lineup on sunday morning but it the it moves well. When there’s a lineup be sure to go up and put your name down (the sign on the door has these instructions but sometimes it’s missed). When it is busy it can get a little loud. Also the menu is large so it takes a while to read through but there are a lot of tasty options. I’ll want to come back for sure!
