Lots of fun flavors and combos, the staff was quick, efficient & super friendly. Took a bunch of high school students here at the end of the day and it was huge hit. If they still have it, check out the orange & lavender ice cream; it was amazing!

What’s not to love about Amy’s Ice Creams? Delicious flavors (some are constant on the menu, some are seasonal), friendly service always, several scoop sizes & toppings to choose from, clean and tidy atmosphere, and it’s an Austin original chain! I always get the coffee ice cream sans toppings, but on my latest trip last week, I tried a bunch of other flavors - you’ll love Honey Pot if you like biscoff or honey, Strawberry Basil is super light and fresh although it feels more like a summer flavor rather than winter, Choco Berry is like their Choclate covered Strawberries but as an inversely paired ice cream flavor. I already know I’m coming back for the Zilker Mint Chip, (and maybe for Coffee too).

I booked Amy’s in the beginning of March to cater at my wedding in October 2025. However, I was in contact with them in the beginning of February. I notice that IIa Ely the booking manager took forever to respond back to my emails. I figured it was best for them to not cater at my wedding due to their lack of communication and not responding back to my emails. Today is March 25th and they still never responded back to my emails even though I signed a contract. It’s a good thing I canceled the contract because I found an eyelash in my ice cream at my recent visit at the Round Rock location. The young ladies at the register were embarrassed and quickly gave me a refund.

It just doesn't taste good... I got the large turtle sundae and didn't even want to finish it. Also, you call this a large? This is a mini where I work. Way too expensive for a scoop of ice cream with mediocre flavor.

I had the small 1 scoop of Belgian chocolate! 🍦 It was awesome! The lady was so friendly to me too. Come get some ice cream y’all 🧡

Came to enjoy an ice cream with my family when in the paying process they charged us for a Sunday that we did not even ordered when we walked out it seemed off for the amount we paid so I went in for a refund it should not take more than 15 mins to complete bother time they finished our ice cream was melted. Went in for ice cream and walked out to milk in a bowl paid completely for nothing. They should be able to fix their mistakes and double check the orders are paid before taking the next client.

On Monday night, they ran out of few flavors of ice cream. We ordered Team Rocket (banana split with red velvet cake). They ran out of the red velvet cake. They messed up the order of the ice cream especially after they insisted we let them know the order of the ice cream we want on the banana split. They did not tell us that they ran out of fudge too. They should not have agreed to make us one when they did not have some of the items to make it. Super disappointed as it didn’t turn out as it was to be.

Took the kids here for a sweet treat after having ramen next door.. Love the variety of flavors as well as seasonal ones.. my only regret is not asking for a sample of the other flavors but I will definitely be back to try them..

Yelp
Lot of good flavors and menu could be overwelming if you don't know what you want. Just ask for sample if you see a flavor you're curious about. I'll have to comeback when they have pistachio but my first visit was good. Service is friendly and there are plenty of seats inside. Now that it's warming up I can see more people coming out for ice cream.

Yelp
This location has yet to disappoint. I've been more than once and enjoyed my experience every time. The customer service is always 10/10 and the ice cream is delicious. It's clean as well and has a decent amount of seating - inside and out! I would 100% recommend coming here. Amy's is an ATX staple and this new location is no less delicious!

Yelp
Wow!! Great ice cream!!! Four of us ate enough ice cream for 7 people ! Starting with the smallest appetite, the mint chocolate chip was pronounced to be delish! The rest of us really proved that Amy's knows how to provide! The Amy's virgin had Oreo ice cream with hot fudge, pecan praline sauce, and coconut. All in a waffle cone! She needed a cup to catch the overflow! Two of us had Belgian chocolate ice cream with Reese's cups chopped in! It was so terrific! And the fourth person had hot fudge on top of her chocolate with Reese's! Heavenly. Our scooper was friendly and terrific. I believe her name is Jessica( I could be wrong) but she wore a Universal Studios baseball cap. She was a delight! Thanks for making our visit delish! We sat and enjoyed and by the time we left, the line was almost as long as the store is ! What a great evening!

Yelp
We popped in for a quick sweet treat on our way home. This location is super cute, had tables indoor and some picnic tables outside. They had a sign with some despicable me themes for ice cream. Very on brand for the new movie. I got the Freeze Ray and the mister tried the Kyle. Highly recommend both. There were a few people inside when we got there, the line moved fast and the staff was very friendly.

Yelp
Over the years, my family and I have cherished our experiences at Amy's, especially during our time in the Austin area. While I've visited nearly all of their locations, the one on Burnett Rd remains my preferred spot. They recently opened this Round Rock, TX location, conveniently situated near I-35 northbound, boasts a spacious interior compared to others. It offers the full array of Amy's ice cream flavors, and their merchandise is readily available at checkout. Personally, I adore the Mexican vanilla flavor with a delightful mix of gummy bears and rainbow sprinkles. The service here wasn't too bad at all. I had a great time and experience at this location. I am very glad I don't have to drive far when I get the craving for Amy's ice cream.

Yelp
Stopped by Amy's ice cream on a hot summer day and the Oreo ice cream actually saved my life. It was super delicious with Mexican vanilla (I'm not entirely sure how that differs from traditional vanilla but that's what the menu said and it sounds kinda fancy). If you're looking for ice cream in Austin look no further!

Yelp
A solid ice cream experience with an equally cute and weird storefront that makes the experience special. Plus a multitude of flavor and topping options that will hit any ice cream craving you may be having. It's a weirdly Austin take on your standard cold stone or Marbleslab type spot, but with a touch more heart. Staff was nice and the look and vibe of the store is too fun to miss if you are feeling a scoop in the area.

Yelp
I've heard great things about Amy's Ice Cream and have picked up plenty of door dash orders from this locations. The staff is always quick and friendly. The atmosphere is fun for kids and always clean. Just came into with my kids and was a bit disappointed. $4.50 for a tiny size (two scoops, no toppings) and then $1.29 for each topping. Each toppings is about 1.5 oz worth from the ramekin they served us on the side. That's $5.79 and I'd say is steep. 3 orders of that with tip was $22+. Yikes. To boot, this place is flying the trans ideology flag and they are selling rainbow cookies to support the cause. Disappointed and will never return.

Yelp
I have tried Mexican vanilla and Oreo. The mexican vanilla has strong vanilla bean flavor with a very smoth texture and right amount of sweetness, it tasted great. The oreo is okay, just oreo w/ ice cream kinda thing. The staff are accommodating and nice. We'll come back to try different flavors.

Yelp
3.5 I had never heard of this store before but was excited to see what it was like after seeing some of the fun flavors online. When we arrived there were far fewer flavors which was a tad disappointing but it was fine. There were about five flavors that were gluten-free so I was able to get something. I had the Mexican Vanilla and my friend had the Belgian Chocolate. I really liked the vanilla flavor as it had a very unique flavor, maybe a floral-based honey? The store is a bit smaller but there are tables to sit at and the staff was knowledgeable about what they had, let me try a small sample and then were able to flip scoops into the air and into the cup which was pretty neat. They had a small promo with a token and vending machine. I got a discount paper and a cute toy. I'll go back even if I can't have all the flavors. A nice shop.

Yelp
Worst customer service EVER! The workers just stood there and were not helpful. They did not give me what I ordered and when I told them it was the wrong thing the didn't do anything about it. It was overpriced and didn't even taste good. The employees were overall not helpful, not informative, and kinda rude in my opinion. I will never be going again. If you do go I would be extremely clear with what you want and don't expect to much from it

Yelp
My first visit to an Austin institution. There's a nice little children's play area behind the 183 location. The people were the star of this visit. I could taste every flavor that attracted me (taste the Belgian chocolate first, before the deep, rich dark chocolate). Everyone was so nice and friendly! There are all sorts of toppings and mix-ins (I didn't indulge; I'm on a purist streak), and some very beautiful frosted cookies on offer. I think I have spent too many years eating inferior, mass-produced frozen treats: the texture of the ice cream was too velvety smooth and creamy for my taste. How is that even possible?

Yelp
Amy's is a delicious austin staple. The ice cream is well made and elevated with toppings and sauces. Their hot fudge is to die for! The only thing Amy's needs to work on is how they handle a busy rush. We waited in line for over 20 minutes just to get some ice cream. They only had two people working and it was clearly not enough.

Yelp
The family had ice cream, gelato, and custard all over Noth America and Europe. But the one we love the most is Mexican Vanilla from Amy's Ice Creams. This new location was close to our hotel, so we had to get some Mexican Vanilla. Employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Pricing was appropriate for high-end ice cream. Plenty of parking.

Aaron M.

Yelp
Like other reviewers, we were served melted ice cream. Way too expensive for what you get.

Somer L.

Yelp
We were served melted ice cream. Scoops are tiny. Three scoops at this place is one normal size scoop by any normal standard. Too expensive for what you get. Long line, flavors meh.

Shannon C.

Yelp
I was surprised with selection of ice cream flavors are limited and basic. Why have oreo ice cream when you can just add oreo mixins. i got the brownie sundae in which the brownie was hard and stale. Would like to support a local business but highly disappointed. Guess i'm spoiled by Maggie Moos. Better selection of flavors and more delicious!

Ashlie M.

Yelp
Ordered a cake for my Dad's birthday and Madison was so nice and helpful! Wonderful customer experience and I would definitely recommend. Thanks Madison!
google avatar

Brianne S.

Yelp
This place is kinda cold stone set up but expensive and if you want a mix in you can't get the smallest size. Well not everyone needs a big size.
google avatar

Derwin M.

Yelp
This place has some of the worst customer service. The staff is too young not to be led by someone who can direct them. Service is slow, and they tend to be out of many flavors. The only reason I come here is because I live in Round Rock, and the other Amys locations are too far away. Get it together.

Yelp
Can't get a simple order correct ordered pineapple up side down cake got cherry and 8 bucks for two tiny scoops no thanks you

Yelp
This new Amy's was great!! Staff was super personable and really seemed passionate to be there!! Plus the ice cream is just delicious. Mexican vanilla with cookie dough and hot fudge was AMAZING!
