"A French colonial allure depicts this two-storey restaurant with a blue and yellow façade. A relaxed vibe and its convenient location near the Han River and Han Market make it a popular spot for a meal after shopping. The concise menu features outstanding bánh xèo, boasting crispy, golden pancakes stuffed with carrot, pork, shrimps and squid. Spot-on seasoning, divine aromas and very courteous front-of-house staff." - Michelin Inspector

The food was absolutely amazing and every dish was full of flavor. You could really tell everything was made with care and attention to detail. The servers were incredibly sweet, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. From start to finish, everything was delicious and enjoyable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and genuinely kind service.

Great lunch at this two time Michelin Bib restaurant. I ordered the Bun cha which was really great mixture of sweet vinegar and a little spice. I’ve had this dish like five times now in Viet and it’s never been served much above room temperature. It’s always room temperature or warm. Dried Spring rolls were amazing and line beverage on point

The Bun Cha and Fried Spring Rolls are both excellent. The spring rolls stand out for being exceptionally crispy yet notably less oily than typical versions. The pork in the Bun Cha is perfectly roasted without being over-charred. The Bánh Xèo (Savory Pancakes) are a highlight. The golden, crispy rice paper is generously stuffed with a flavorful mix of meat, vegetables, and prawns. The staff conveniently assists in wrapping the Bánh Xèo with fresh greens and mango slices at your table. This dish is delicious on its own but is elevated further when dipped into the accompanying peanut-infused sauce. Finally, the Nam Noodle dish is also highly flavorful and recommended.

Looking for an authentic Vietnamese dinner experience you won't forget? You need to visit Ăn Thôi! This isn't just any restaurant; it's an establishment honored with the prestigious Bib Gourmand award from Michelin for offering great food at affordable prices. 🍽️ The "System" and Atmosphere: Located in a charming, two-story French colonial-style building (blue and yellow facade) near the Han River and Han Market, the place has a vibrant, bustling atmosphere. A key part of the experience here is that during peak hours (weekend dinners), you will likely have to wait in line — they use a numbering system, and the wait can be up to 40 minutes! But reviewers agree the authentic experience and food are well worth the queue.

We got the grilled cheese scallop, fried spring roll, spicy gopchang noodle soup and the mango smoothie. I thought everything was delicious! The mango smoothie woke me up with how good it was. The fried spring roll and cheese scallop was extremely tasty. The spicy gopchang noodle soup was spicy for my fiancee but for me it was a good amount. Although the noodle soup is good, i would recommend the fried spring roll, cheese scallop and mango smoothie. The vibe is awesome as well 👌!.

The food was good, however the portions were relatively small for the price compared to more local restaurants. The bun cha was decent but not as good as the stuff in Hanoi. The scallops were cooked a bit over. Be aware the restaurant does have a free mango smoothie for a 5 star review, so read the reviews yourself to determine if they are true.

The spring rolls were definitely the highlight of the meal — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. The oysters were served somewhere between grilled and raw, which felt a bit unusual for my personal preference. Overall, an enjoyable experience, good ambience with the spring rolls standing out the most. I did had to queue for very long only a 15min wait for a Monday dinner

We had a highly enjoyable initial dining experience, which led us to try the restaurant, given its respected Michelin star rating. Despite a lengthy wait of around an hour during peak dinner hours, a staff member was assigned to facilitate a smooth and organized dining experience. All the dishes we ordered were outstanding and delicious, with serving sizes that, although not overly filling, were reasonable considering the price. The bun cha, spring roll, beef noodles, and fried rice were all exceptionally fresh and delicious. However, the oysters with cheese had an unusual taste, possibly due to the cheese overpowering the oysters' flavor with a creamy rather than salty taste. Mango shake was thick, not overly sweet. Nevertheless, everything was good overall, and we highly recommend this establishment.
