We went there for dinner. The food was delicious and not very spicy, which was perfect for me since I prefer milder flavors. However, the prices were a bit higher than other Indian restaurants I've been to. Overall, it was a good experience. PS: the main doesn’t come with rice or nan you have to order them separately

Really nice restaurant with good food and great service. We went for the Ananda Set Menu which was a 3 course meal for €45pp. For starters we had the ‘Ananda Kebab Tasting’ and the ‘Vegetarian Platter’. Both were so flavorful and so delicious. For main we had the ‘Butter Chicken’ and the ‘Lucknow Lamb Shank’ which had a €8 supplement, and they came with rice and naan. To finish off we had the ‘Chocolate Crémeux’ and the ‘Homemade Ice-cream’ which consisted of 2 scoops: flavours were rose and caramel. All in all, great experience and we enjoyed the meal very much!

This has to be the best Indian food we’ve had in Ireland and trust when I say we’ve been to a lot of Indian Restaurants across the country. Fabulous taste in each dish, catered really well to vegetarian options. Special occasion made even more special! ✨

Ananda is one of those restaurants in Dublin that has championed fine dining with traditional Indian cuisine. A burst of flavours is what Indian cuisine is mostly about, and serving it with elegance on a plate defines the experience. The staff is amazing, and they ensure that the food is prepared according to your needs (for eg. that extra bit of spice if you're game for it or toning it down if you like it that way, while retaining the flavours). +1 for the ease of booking. They managed to secure a place for us on a short note over the weekend :)

I went on dinner with friends and I had a huge expectation. We started with Raj kachori and seek kebab both were good. Disappointing part was main course roast ghee ghost lacked flavour and dal makhani was same (no way it was 36 hour cooked dal). Goat meat dish was served with green & mango chutney and rice pancakes which did not tie together at all! What an abomination! For dessert we had mango kulfi and gulab jamun, kulfi had no consistency of real kulfi it was more like mango ice cream and gulab jamun was good with rose ice cream though was a bit too sweet for my taste. Not to mention wine menu was not curtailed for indian food, we went for italian pinot griogio was too citrus for pair with ghee roast main course. Overall it was mediocre culinary experience that will only please limited indian food exposure clientele

An amazing experience! Some of the best food and drinks I've had in a while! The service was excellent and faster than I expected with how busy it was! The food was divine and the atmosphere was so lovely! Highly recommended

My husband and I went for our 4 year anniversary. We got the Set Menu for 45€ each, which was excellent value. The food was lovely. Starter, main and dessert. The staff was really friendly and welcoming from the beginning. Definitely Anandas was the best option to make our dinner an unforgettable night, for all the right reasons.

This Indian Restaurant in Dundrum has to be one of the very best in Ireland without a doubt, Duck and Prawn Starters are so unique and the main courses of Pork Chop, and the lamb rogan josh were unbelievably good, many layers and layers of spicing. Will definitely be back for my twice yearly visit, it only gets better and better with Age. John K.
