The ambience wouldn’t be my first choice. It leans more lively than intimate — fairly loud, with several families dining and no background music to soften the noise. The décor is dominated by deep red tones, which gives it a heavier, less refined feel than I expected for a fine-dining setting.
Service had a few small blips. When we arrived, we were told our table wasn’t ready and were directed to the lounge, only for another waiter to come over moments later, confused, saying a table was actually available. The staff were friendly throughout, but our drinks order was also forgotten and needed a reminder.
That said, the food is where the restaurant truly shines. I started with the scallops, followed by king prawns with curry leaf and coconut, and finished with the chocolate crémeux. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The scallops, in particular, were cooked perfectly — tender, delicate, and easily the standout of the meal.
Overall, while the atmosphere and service could be smoother, the quality of the cooking alone makes it worth a visit.
