I’m currently sitting at my table in Ananda, and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. One of the butlers taking my order insisted—rather bluntly—that I place my starters and mains together. It wasn’t just the request, but the tone and the attitude with which it was delivered. It felt rushed, dismissive, and completely out of line with what I would expect from a restaurant that positions itself at Michelin-star standards.
At this level, you expect refinement, courtesy, and an experience that feels thoughtful and seamless. Instead, the interaction felt abrupt and borderline rude. For a place known for premium service, the way my order was handled has been extremely underwhelming and has set a very poor tone for the evening so far.
I genuinely hope the restaurant pays attention to the service quality, because this is not what guests come here for
