I’ve stayed at several Anantara hotels, but this one takes the proverbial cake — and serves it with a smile. The level of personalised service here should be studied by every other luxury property. Not once did I feel like “just another guest passing through.”||||From the moment we arrived — weary and delayed after multiple flights — we were greeted by Sam, whose amiable charm instantly erased the travel fatigue. He whisked us through check-in, gave us the lay of the land, and led us to our Premier Suite. To our delight, the team had transformed it into a birthday haven for my wife: cake, décor, and all the celebratory trimmings. Touché, Anantara.||||Our spa day was a masterclass in serenity thanks to Kao Eak and Leak, who pampered us with impeccable care from start to finish. The Anantara Spa remains a sanctuary of calm, delivering consistent excellence no matter how many times you visit.||||Dining was another highlight. Chi Restaurant and Road 6 Lounge offered immaculate ambiance and flawless service. Chanra, Mary, Chai, Dam, and Chef Narong — your warmth and openness turned every meal into an occasion. Each dish was a story, and we were more than happy to be part of the audience.||||With the Angkor Eye practically next door, we indulged in a complimentary ride that offered sweeping views. The hotel also arranged a private Angkor Wat tour that was nothing short of spectacular, complete with top-tier guides, comfortable transport, and icy water with chilled towels after each temple excursion — a lifesaver in Cambodia’s sweltering heat.||||The property itself is immaculate, the saltwater pool is pure bliss, and every small detail reminds you why Anantara has a reputation for redefining hospitality.||||Highly recommended — and Anantara Angkor, you haven’t seen the last of us.
