Anantara Angkor Resort

"From the waterways that flow throughout the grounds (representations of water are the Khmer symbol for woman) to the white sandstone sculpture of a mother and child by the pool, this 37-all-suite hotel, which recently underwent a full takeover and renovation by the Anantara group, has a wonderfully calm ambience in a rapidly growing, and crowded, city. When to go: December through March—the driest but the busiest months. Experience butlers welcome guests with a single white lotus and a foot massage ritual, and stay at their disposal through the remainder of their stay."

Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa (Siem Reap, Cambodia) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"For connoisseurs of Asia’s villa hotels, the concept is the thing: small-scale luxury, physically up to international standards, yet painstakingly localized. That last bit is important when you’re talking about a destination like Siem Reap, a place where the city’s cultural inheritance is practically as palpable as the 400-thread linens or the deep soaking tubs. A 39-room villa resort in a contemporary Khmer style, Anantara Angkor Resort is set a few miles from Angkor Wat, one of the great cultural wonders of the world — a setting that, to say the least, sets a rather high standard." - Tablet Hotels

To all the team at Anantara Angkor Resort, thank you so much for hosting us for three days. We felt that we were treated with care so much more than just as paying guests. Your hospitality was sincere, the welcome extended to us was warm and genuine and we loved the atmosphere and presence in the resort. For anyone reading these reviews and thinking of visiting Siem Reap, just do it! It has everything a holidaymaker looks for - some of the most amazing historical sites you will ever see in your lifetime, good food, places to rejuvenate and some fun too. The team at Anantara will ensure you maximise every moment, make your tours stress-free and provide the tranquility and rejuvenation needed after a day of sightseeing - a beautiful and relaxing pool, nourishing food, a ‘magical’ housekeeping team who keep your room together throughout the day, and a peaceful spa. Thank you again.

Anti mozzie spray is provided in the room & replaced regularly.|Water is provided, however it was not always topped up & there was no room in the fridge to keep it cool. A bucket of ice was provided.|Breakfast was amazing, a menu of freshly cooked Asian & Western food is provided as well as hot/cold buffet options & an egg station.|There is a bar with a happy hour. Be mindful of ordering glasses of wine as sometimes the wine had been open for sometime & was not at it's best.|We organised trips through the hotel, which were fantastic, an amazing guide & air conditioned transport.|There is a small gym , which was very hot even with air con.|The spa was lovely, although quite alot of road noise during a massage.|Overall a lovely hotel, made special by the super staff.

Returned Traveller to Siem Reap and staying at what I consider the Best Hotel in Siem Reap. Anantara Angkor Resort is a small, boutique hotel set amongst beautiful natural surroundings. Architecturally Khmer Inspired and Designed, the hotel's surroundings are conducive to a cozy and relaxed environment. Welcomed "Home" by all the staff who welcomed us with the Traditional Cambodian Greetings as well as hugs and a Cambodian Kroma (Scarf). Both my mother and I seem to have a collection of these now which we proudly wear when we go outside.||Stayed in the beautiful Family Pool Suite with 2 Bedrooms. Very much appreciated the Multiple plates of Welcome Fruits. All the night Turn Down Cambodian Snacks were all delicious. Stay was made more memorable as my Nephew and his Wife were able to experience the Anantara Hospitality with us. The private pool was always very cool and relaxing, especially after a long and hot day exploring the many Temples around Angkor.||Many Congratulations to Mr. Supratik Guha, General Manager and his Front Office Managers, Vannak and Yuki in making our return stay a most delightful and always memorable experience. ALL the staff working here are so friendly and hard working, with excellent customer service. Very much enjoyed the complimentary head/neck massage in the restaurant after breakfast.||My Mother and I felt truly welcomed again and like close family members. Keep up the excellent work.||Looking forward to visiting again, hopefully next year and with friends.

Amazing, beautiful hotel conveniently located to the temples and city. Quiet and comfortable. Staff were very attentive. Thank you to Lawii (?sp) our host and the other front desk staff who arranged all the outside dining and activities. And thank you to the chef, Rey and the other Chi staff for an enjoyable breakfast and lunch experience. Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in SR.

I cannot speak highly enough of Anantara. We were greeted with such warmth by the staff, which included a welcome gift, welcome drink, ceremonial and complimentary foot scrub, and orientation to the property. The resort is luxurious and tranquil, and our room was well styled, stocked, comfortable and roomy. They left little gifts for us each day of our stay, which was a nice touch. My mom and I went for spa treatments, and they were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. We felt so pampered and relaxed. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive and we especially enjoyed the breakfast options. Finally, we needed late check out on our last day and they were very accommodating. There was not one staff member who was anything but above and beyond gracious, special shout outs to Mouyee, the bar tender, and the spa staff. Highly recommend Anantara.

Anantara Angkor Resort, Cambodia I had a truly wonderful stay at Anantara Angkor. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. I was greeted with a refreshing Cambodian welcome drink, which was the perfect way to begin the experience. One thing I really appreciated was the flexibility — they allowed me an early check-in and late check-out without any extra fees, which made my stay even more comfortable. The Cambodian food at the resort was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The place itself is beautiful and calm, offering a truly relaxing stay. It’s the perfect escape after a long day exploring the temples of Angkor. Overall, the service, hospitality, peaceful atmosphere, and local charm made this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Anantara Angkor to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

This place is unbelievable! The staff are so kind & respectful, the room is spacious & has everything you would ever need. The room was like a small apartment, I loved it. The restaurant at the hotel serves great steak, mostly the food was great. The best part is sitting at night for a nice drink near the pool, what a great resort!
