Anantara Angkor Resort

We stayed at the Anantara for four nights and really felt the warmth and sincerity of every staff member. My partner got a fever the day after we arrived in Siem Reap, and the hotel staff helped by buying medicine and even made him a pot of warm ginger tea and porridge . He felt much better the next day. Overall, we were really well taken care of during our four days here.：

I had an absolutely lovely stay at the Anantara and cannot recommend it more highly. The property is beautiful, the rooms are luxurious, and the staff went so far above and beyond. I felt extremely well cared for. Even though it’s a little bit out from the downtown of Siem Reap, they have a tuktuk service that was very easy to use into town and back. Definitely a great choice in Siem Reap.

The Anantara has been a haven of tranquillity in a busy place . I call it a boutique luxury hotel with 39 rooms. We stayed 3 nights and have enjoyed it immensely. The bed was and pillows are as good as you could ever want. The restaurant offers a great range of Cambodian cuisine and European dishes. We only ate Cambodian which was delicious the lovely pool area had comfortable beds and excellent poolside food services. The butler and teams arranged a private tour to Angkor Wat at dawn and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable. There was nothing they couldn’t sort for us and every person was so friendly and welcoming. Would come back in a shot. Luckily we are off to Anantara Mui Ne next in Vietnam.

We enjoyed a fantastic 5-night stay at the Anantara, Siem Riep. We loved the hotel - it is excellent quality while also understated. The staff and service are really excellent - very attentive, kind and professional. We always felt cared for in a very genuine way. A very calm environment only a short taxi or tuktuk ride into the city, and also a short drive to the magnificent local temples including Angkor Wat. The room was superb - very comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet. The pool area is great too. Breakfast each day was excellent and we enjoyed one dinner at the hotel also, which was also excellent. Highly recommended for couples and people keen on a quiet oasis in Siem Reap.

This was without a doubt one of the most beautiful vacations I have ever experienced.||The hotel is located slightly outside the city center, which creates a calm, spacious, and relaxing environment, ideal for rest and slowing down. The surroundings feel natural and peaceful, allowing guests to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Cambodia. The local people are incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming, with a strong sense of spirituality that can be felt throughout the stay.||The hotel itself is quiet and very pleasant, even though we stayed during Christmas, when there was a lively celebration with karaoke and a joyful festive atmosphere. It was an unforgettable experience that combined relaxation with moments of fun and togetherness.||The rooms are beautiful, the pool is very comfortable, and the overall setting feels elegant yet welcoming. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the staff.||A very special mention goes to Sambatt, our waiter, who quickly became more than just a member of the staff but almost a friend. He was extremely professional, attentive, caring, and always willing to help. His kindness and dedication made our stay truly memorable.||A wonderful holiday that I would recommend without hesitation.

We stayed as a family in for a week in Dec 2025 , returning to Cambodia after 17 years : we were slightly worried as the border conflict was escalating at the time, many friends recommended we cancel- but we are so glad we went. ||Cambodia is a magical, warm-hearted country and everyone in Anantara was so welcoming and helpful, from Supratik the GM, Ratha our primary contact/butler , and everyone else, too many to name. Everything was to the highest standards and we were made to feel so comfortable and cared for. ||We stayed in the Sothea suite which is highly recommended, very silent and towards the back of the property. The restaurant was stellar - there was so much variety and evertything was delicious. Our 13 year old ate so much and so healthily , i am convinced he visibly grew taller during this week .| The spa was excellent- i think we visited nearly every day - |The small details like the khmer coffee (sublime) and the little sweets in the lobby were outstanding, I would grab a handful every morning before our temple tours . ||We took in so many experiences it is difficult to know what to list - but in particular we loved the Angkorian Dining Theatre, and the chef's table experiences, and all the temple tours we did. Also on Supratik's recommendation we visited the Apopo centre which was very special and moving (cute animals) . We got lucky with the weather- clear blue skies with fleecy white clouds , the pictures look like they are from a studio ghibli movie or a magical world. ||Thank you so much to everyone there : No doubt you too were worried about the conflict , perhaps you had family in the north - thank you so much for all the effort you put in during that difficult time. We are so glad a ceasefire was agreed in late December. ||We learnt a lot, we had a wonderful time and we built unforgettable, priceless memories as a family.

Wonderful experience with our teenagers there. Service was friendly and considerate; many vegetarian options in the restaurant including breakfast (wonderful hot Indian selections too, poori bhaji was a favorite); excellent spa; great cocktails at the bar inspired by Cambodian flavors, and overall a memorable experience. Teens enjoyed playing billiards, chess in the lounge, and a bit of swimming in the pool. Recommend that you request a second floor room away from the street so it’s quieter. Was wondering whether we should have booked closer to the city center, but Tuktuk ride using the Grab app was <$2 USD to restaurants and activities in Siem Reap. Would recommend to friends.

Stayed here in 2024. Missed writing a review then, but it definitely left a such a positive impression that I am here writing one - a full year later. The most memorable of the stay was, of course, the exceptional service (the front desk manager and every single person we encountered were so friendly and helpful.) The breakfast spread was plentiful and fresh. The restaurant on the property was such an enjoyable place to relax in general - very quiet and well decorated. We had afternoon tea and dinner on separate occasions, all great. Our room was immaculate, spacious and beautiful, all while overlooking the pool. Very convenient location to town (we took the property tuk tuk a few times) and booked a tour to Angkor Wat, which is about 20min away by car. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
