Anantara Hua Hin Resort

"Two-and-a-half hours south of Bangkok, the Anantara Hua Hin Resort, set in a sleepy seaside town once frequented by Thai royals as their summer playground, still looks the regal part. Rooms have hand-crafted wooden armoires, silk accents, and the occasional private terrace that overlooks either the tropical gardens or the Gulf of Thailand. The roughly 14-acre garden dreamt up by architect and landscape designer Bill Bensley is designed to resemble an ancient Thai village, and water features like lagoons and lotus ponds fill the property. There are plenty of restaurants and lounges to choose from, too: Readers recommend Rim Nam for Thai and fusion cuisines, and Issara Café for leisurely breakfasts; for a dining experience that's a little less conventional, there's Spice Spoons, to school you in the art of perfectly balanced curries." - Betsy Blumenthal

We came here as my friend got married on the resort. When we first arrived from Bangkok we were met in a very large open traditional themed Thai reception area......very impressive. We were also greeted by a parrot (Rocky). Check in was fairly smooth and the concierge staff promptly took our bags to our room. When we arrived to our room, we were very happy with the quality of the room and the view out to the sea, with our own little terrace area. The staff were all very polite, friendly and professional. I took advantage of the pool, where the water was just perfect. The breakfast had a wide range from continental to Asian themed foods...all of which were very nice. Outside of the resort, there's not much to see and it's around a 10 min drive to the beach or night market. If you use the local taxi app (Grab), you can get a taxi into town quite quickly at a very cheap price. If I did have something to pick at, was that there were works taking place near our room so I didn't fully take advantage of the view other then the early morning sunrise (epic). All in all, it was great stay and would be happy to return.

This was my second time staying at an Anantara Resort, first time at the Hua Hin resort. It didn't meet the level of service experience that's expected from a luxury resort. My husband and I stayed 3 days over the New Years holidays so I understand the resort is busy. All staff were polite and tried their best but some looked like they weren't sure what they're supposed to be doing. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in was smooth, and the staff had my room ready early at noon, which I appreciated (because we drove in early and were tired). They also accommodated my request for a slightly late check-out. Facilities & Amenities: The pool and beach experience were disappointing. Guests reserved sunbeds by leaving personal items for hours, and the staff didn’t manage this, so my husband and I unable to relax by the pool. The gym was far from the main buildings, quite inconvenient and I didn't end up using it. The beach wasn’t impressive compared to other Hua Hin resorts, but the New Year’s Eve fireworks were a nice touch. Cleanliness: Cleanliness throughout the resort was good, from the rooms to the common areas. No complaints here.

We just left the Anantara Hua Hin Resort, we're we spent 3 nights for a friends' celebration and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds, which blend traditional Thai aesthetics and impressive luxury though in the traditional curated ambience What truly set this resort apart, however, was the exceptional management and staff. The team was incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel truly valued guests. We came with a group of 50 people and I must say we enjoyed every single moment. The resort itself is a peaceful sanctuary, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and discovery. I had the chance to walk around a lot and enjoy the beautiful lush greenery. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with stunning views of the tranquil lagoon that made for a serene retreat, high ceiling, silent and provided with all possible amenities. What to say about the food? The Thai restaurant was a highlight, with every dish prepared to perfection, the crub yellow curry was outstanding! It was clear that every detail at this resort is carefully curated to provide guests with a memorable and exceptional stay. We had also a private dinner on the beach and I must say this was one of the best dinner of my life, everything was simply delicious. We already miss this paradise and hope to be back very soon! Thank you Susy

Anantara Hua Hin Resort - A Slice of Paradise just a short car journey from Bangkok I recently stayed at the Anantara Hua Hin Resort, and it was beautiful. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning grounds that perfectly blend traditional Thai charm with luxury…And the amazing Macaw! The staff were warm and welcoming. The resort itself is a haven of relaxation and a labyrinth of surprises. The rooms are lovely and the beds are comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the serene views from my room overlooking the tranquil lagoon. The authentic Thai restaurant was delicious. One of the highlights for me has to be the massage I had at the spa.

Our stay at Anantara Hua Hin was nothing short of exceptional! The resort itself is a stunning oasis, with lush gardens, pristine pools, and direct beach access. Every detail is meticulously curated, creating a truly luxurious experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and valued. The authentic spa treatments were pure bliss, providing the ultimate relaxation. The food was simply divine, with a delicious variety of both local and international cuisines. We especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of packing us a breakfast to-go when we had to leave early. Without a doubt, Anantara Hua Hin deserves a 7-star rating. It's a truly unforgettable destination that we highly recommend.

The Anantara Hua Hin Resort impresses with its beautiful architecture, flora and fauna, which invites you to linger at every corner. The secluded lagoon area in particular is a true paradise. The service staff are courteous and very friendly. A lot of renovation work is currently taking place in the hotel complex, which unfortunately does not necessarily contribute to relaxation. In addition to a large construction site on the beach, which makes the beach almost inaccessible due to construction noise and dust, renovation work is also taking place in the individual houses, which leads to construction noise all day long. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of the numerous construction works, which would certainly have influenced our booking decision. In addition, during our stay there was a large group from a company, which unfortunately attracted negative attention from many guests due to the enormous volume and inappropriate behavior. Unfortunately, the hotel did not take care of the behavior of this group. This would have been desirable in order to enable the other paying guests to have an equally enjoyable vacation.

Stayed in Anantara with my husband for 4 nights over my birthday period and it was amazing! The food was divine and the staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I was very excited to see that local favorites such as kaprao and phad Thai are on the menu. The location wise, its great and not too far from the night market. Grab and Bolt is easily accessible and you can take a Tuktuk home. Treated myself to a 90 minutes Thai herbal compress massage and it was worth every baht! And having Rocky the macaw to greet you when you arrive was a beautiful touch. I hope to come back to Anantara Hua Hin again. 😊

I had a great experience here celebrating my mom’s birthday. The breakfast buffet is diverse and delicious. The view is wonderful with the ocean, garden, and lagoon to explore. There’re a lot of activities and amenities available with two pools. Perfect place for vacation. Front desk staff Ing and Lemon were very nice and helpful. They helped me sorting out the reservation error and recommended a great beach restaurant.
