Anantara Hua Hin Resort

"Two-and-a-half hours south of Bangkok, the Anantara Hua Hin Resort, set in a sleepy seaside town once frequented by Thai royals as their summer playground, still looks the regal part. Rooms have hand-crafted wooden armoires, silk accents, and the occasional private terrace that overlooks either the tropical gardens or the Gulf of Thailand. The roughly 14-acre garden dreamt up by architect and landscape designer Bill Bensley is designed to resemble an ancient Thai village, and water features like lagoons and lotus ponds fill the property. There are plenty of restaurants and lounges to choose from, too: Readers recommend Rim Nam for Thai and fusion cuisines, and Issara Café for leisurely breakfasts; for a dining experience that's a little less conventional, there's Spice Spoons, to school you in the art of perfectly balanced curries." - Betsy Blumenthal

Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa (Hua-Hin, Thailand) Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Before a few years ago, Hua Hin was rather out of the way for international travelers, and was best reached by train or coach. Now four flights leave Bangkok each day for the Hua Hin airport. Survive the slightly claustrophobic journey to the heart of the northern Malay Peninsula and you’ll soon find yourself at Anantara Hua Hin, a 187-room spa resort from the local Thai mini-chain." - Tablet Hotels

Dear Anantara Hua Hin Team, Hi, We had a wonderful stay at Anantara Hua Hin. The staff were super friendly, efficient, and truly on top of everything. The breakfast offered a large and delicious selection every morning. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the Kids’ Club is just perfect, my son could stay there all day! The badminton area is also a great idea for some fun family time. We especially loved the relaxing hammock spots, such a peaceful place where you can hear the birds, squirrels, and the soothing sound of the sea. At the Little Farm activity, it would be even more perfect if kids could also plant seeds and water the plants, in addition to feeding the animals. The instructor did a great job explaining that everything is organic, though my son did wonder why the eggs were plastic! Maybe biodegradable ones next time 😊 A small suggestion from my husband: a larger fitness room with newer equipment would make the experience absolutely perfect and in line with a true 5-star resort. We’re already looking forward to coming back with our family, and I’ll be very happy to recommend and send more guests through Emotions Asia.

Warm welcome on arrival by Alex at the front desk. He was really helpful and funny. ||Some renovations still going on but despite some noises during the day, not affecting us much. Pool areas and especially service there outstanding. Special shoutout to Nam who attended to our needs at the pool area and also at the Rim Nam restaurant. Excellent work!||Rooms were updated and clean. Air conditioning worked great. Really nice atmosphere in the hotel area. ||Overall enjoyed our family stay and would recommend to anyone. Hope to come back again.

I've stayed here a couple of times now and will definitely be back. Although it doesn't have the best beach, it's easy to get to from Bangkok (2.5 hour drive - you can arrange a pick-up from the airport for about £60-80). Plus, it's very affordable. The staff are always lovely and the rooms beautiful. I would recommend getting one with a sea view though. The newly renovated Sea Fire Salt is located on the beach front and has some good options for lunch and dinner. If you're looking for a quick getaway from Bangkok and don't want to fly I would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing stay at Anantara Hua Hin! 🌴 The resort blends Thai charm with modern comfort perfectly. The Club Sea View Suite was excellent, and big thanks to Khun Padcha, Miu, Faii, and Book for the great service. Sea.Fire.Salt. was a highlight — great food, atmosphere, and views. Also had some of the best massages I’ve ever experienced — special thanks to Khun Jean and Khun Sai. Can’t wait to be back!

My first time here and it is quickly becoming my favorite choice in hua hin. Me and my family spend two nights in Club Anantara Seaview Suite. The view was just amazing, our balcony has panoramic view of the sea. Room is newly renovated, superb functional and clean. Kids club is just newly opened, our kids spend a whole day, so much fun. I personally love the tropical vibe at the pool area. Highly recommend for dining at Sea Fire Salt restaurant. Food is great plus a sea-view. Special highlight to a staff at the restaurant Khun Na, Khun High, Khun Sanit and Khun Book, they are all super friendly. Definitely comeback

Anantara Hua Hin is a charming, Thai inspired resort with lush tropical, immaculately kept gardens along a quiet stretch of beach, offering everything expected from a 5 star resort. It is about 4km outside of Hua Hin town, so may not be practical if you want to be based in the thick of it, but they do offer a complimentary shuttle bus to town. The rooms were beautiful and clean and well appointed, with all amenities you would need. We had a beach front balcony room, which was perfect (room # 126). Amazing views of the beach-with an awesome balcony. The grounds were well kept and neat. Only downside was that they were doing some maintenance/building and there was a bit of noise poolside, but I guess maintenance needs to take place at some point. The breakfast offerings were extensive and really good, and the service was wonderful - this was overall during our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs (especially at the pool with drink service). We did have an evening meal at Sea Fire Salt restaurant, and we did have a massage at the Spa, both of which were great. Overall, we would highly recommend Anantara Hua Hin, and we will definitely return. Its a good option if you are looking for a romantic escape or a family holiday.

My wife and I had a great 4 day stay at Anantara. From the welcome drink upon arriving to the mosquito repellent burn on the balcony. You can tell they thought everything thru to provide an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The rooms are clean, airy, well decorated and big. The property is lush with tropical trees everywhere. The food is reasonably priced. The breakfast was legit 😋 and the view at the restaurant on the beach was majestic. The staff were genuine and always willing to help. We will be coming back in the future for sure. If there was one thing I would hope to be updated, it would be the gym.

Room definitely is fine. But I don't really sense the hospitality of the staffs. Well they do the normal greets but not exactly making you felt welcomed. Breakfast spread wasn't big as well. If it's on discounted price no hard trying but I think full fare can get you much better experience elsewhere
