Lovely atmosphere, very clean space, super friendly servers, perfect service and amazing food. I tried the butter chicken (my favorite), chicken tikka, lamb tikka masala, sag paneer and the vegetable coconut curry — everything was delicious, fresh and had a homemade feel. The naan is fresh, soft, and generously sized. I also love how warmly they welcome you and make you feel right at home. Such a lovely place — can’t wait to come back soon 😊 Highly recommended!

I've been here a lot and enjoyed it quite a bit. however this last time the Lamb Korma was honestly kinda flavorless and the Butter Chicken (Chicken Makhani) a bit weak. seemed less seasoned than before. Also it feels like the dinner soup has been more watery the last couple times I was there. I'll still be back but I'm not sure if the quality has been declining recently

Ordered the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and garlic naan, and they did not disappoint! The service was very quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Have dined in a bunch since my initial COVID era review and I am so fond of this restaurant. It's dependable, satiating, yummy food. They always warmly welcome you in and are attentive. They still use the classic white tablecloths so there's just an old school error of formality although you're still dining in a strip mall restaurant and broader LA. I just really love their flavors and the seasoning mix that they use. But so interesting with Indian in cuisine as they are often family recipes so the flavors can very quite broadly. But this location is by far one of my favorites. I've never had a bad curry and I love their masala sauces. We most recently had the Seabass and it was so wonderful. Of course you can't go wrong with garlic man Either. And I must say I really dig their Sagnier too. Of course these are the quint social American orderings but what can I say? I know what I like and I love this restaurants iterations of these classic dishes.

Never Again. I have eaten here a few times, the food is good... not great. The service has always been excellent until yesterday at about 2.15p... All I wanted was to sit at a table... not a booth... a table. I do not like booths. I asked the person who greeted us for a table, they tried to give us a booth. I reiterated a table... and they tried to sit us at a two top table next to a family of 5 with at least one fussy kid. When I asked for the only other table I saw near the back I was simply told 'no' by the gentleman who was helping us. Bear in mind, the place was not packed....only about 40% capacity was taken, so I am really not sure why he said no. I guess they just didn't want my business.... so I went to another Indian restaurant about a half mile down the street. Note to the owner -- in this economy, you might want to train your staff on trying to work with customers and not drive them away.

Wow, First, the place was clean & servers professionals, this is my first experience with Indian Food...and I will say even tho I was conservative with my selection (don't judge we all are) I opted for med heat (but I should have based it on 1-10 method) I would have told them an eight. Food (pic below) everything was amazing, Masada sauce on the side was perfect for me...but what my taste buds were craving was heat (totally my fault) Plz know I cannot judge or rate this spot toward another...so my review is solely based on taste & quality! I have a feeling I'll try other Indian Spots but from what I know of my taste profile, I'll be circling back to this spot. 4.4

Whoa! How have I not reviewed this place my friends and I rave about! We have dined here so many times to celebrate birthdays or just friend dinners. We always leave happy and well fed. Love this place! The service is amazing and fast, courteous and it's a very welcoming environment. They're very authentic. ALL of the food we always order is so good and we always ask for recommendations. But a favorite is the butter chicken and of course the chicken tikka masala and something about their Naan is just amazing. Don't hesitate on coming if you've been looking for some delicious Indian cuisine.

What a nice Indian food restaurant in the valley! We got the combo meal for 2 that includes samosas, chicken tandoori, vege curry, meat curry and dessert. Highly recommend this set if you want to try some of the signature dishes. My favorite was definitely the lamb curry The dining area is on the dark side in terms of lighting. There're limited parking in the back, maybe around 6-7 spots? I am likely to go back to try more of their curry!

This is our go to spot for Indian food in the Valley. They never disappoint and the service is amazing. Highly recommend.

The food portion is small for a dinner plate.the Tika masala is not creamy enough, we ordered very hot but came out just medium heat. The vindaloo has potato in there which is weird for my experience with vindaloos. The flavor is also different than other vindaloos that i have tried. The mango lassi is not creamy enough as well. The service is decent, everyone is very polite. The store is very much like an India restaurant on the ambiance part. Overall, I wouldn't say the price and the flavors are very good.

Celebrated a family member's birthday and everything went perfect. They were very accommodating constantly checking in on us and clearing out any dishes that needed to be removed. Checking our drinks and getting us refills very often as well. The food was delicious! Very flavorful and freshly made. I enjoyed my time there a lot and most importantly the food. The only con I would say is it is pretty dark in there which I understand is part of the ambience.

Just heated up my left overs from a to go order from yesterday. I love ordering from Anarbagh because the portions are so big. One order can last 4-5 meals. That was quickly cut short when I was mid bite and looked down to see a long black hair on my plate. For the record - I'm a blonde and my husband has a buzz cut so I'm very sure it isn't one of our hairs. Blegh. It'll be a long time before I eat here again.

Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Portions are a good size, spiciness is spot on and the service is great.

Wouldn't take my AARP discount coupon. They say they've been trying to remove it for years but I don't know if that's true- they did try to substitute it with a smaller discount which was kind (?) but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I felt embarrassed and chose not to eat here after all. It's a good restaurant and I can't fault the food but this seems like something that should be taken care of after two years if it's truly an issue with AARP.

Great taste, the samosas are amazing! Everything, BUT ridiculously small portions of meat. Our Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka were just not acceptable. Great taste, but way too much filler. You need to improve this.

The best in LA, by FAR - in my humble opinion. I always stick to what I know, and at this venue my order is an order of chicken tikka masala, medium spice, garlic naan and a Coke. My taste buds go nuts. Not much to look at on the outside but that's how you know it's gonna be good. Mouth watering EVERY SINGLE TIME. I live in another state but come here every other month for work, so kinda feel like a local. Great service and always quick. Can't wait to come back again.

Shahan is wonderful waiter and recommends dishes if you're looking to try something new, savory or sweet. Love their food! I don't think I've had a dish I don't like. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff for their work.

Usually good food here, but not this time. I saw a review from Yelper that the lamb korma was the best dish...not sure if this person had Covid when she wrote the review, but the lamb korma we had was literally on of the worst tasting lamb dishes I ever had. Also the naan bread was terrible..not sure how you screw that up. I have leftovers if the owner wants to try the food.

The food was really great!!!! I ordered the chicken tiki masala with medium spice and it was absolutely perfect. You can easy make this family styled meals and share with the table or have the meals individually. Either way the portions are really great for the price. Aziz made it such a great experience. This definitely will be my go to Indian cuisine restaurant from now on!

This restaurant has excellent service , food is amazing I ordered my favorite ch Makena and some of the appetizers Everything was super delicious. I can tell you while I was sitting here to dine they had so many people coming to pick up orders :) food is fresh tasty with 100% Indian home made flavors!!! The place has a very nice vibes and design in a warm way I love that !!! Servers are very pleasant and super on top of customers needs. The resturant is super clean I must say as well. Best Indian food in the valley!! We are Shalimar converts. Food is way better and the staff are all much friendlier!! It's the only Indian restaurant you should go to.. HANDS DOWN!!!

this restaurant is amazing! i'd love to take my bf for dinner here for it's intimate ambiance and delicious food. there is plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. i went here for a casual meeting and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service. our waiter checked up on us frequently, making sure we were taken care of. the food was prepared quickly and i enjoyed it all! i can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes

Very nice environment. The service is good, the waiters are great. The bowls are interesting. They're very authentic. We also ordered the chicken tikka masala to go, my son loves to eat this with Naan. The considered thing is that they let you choose spicy levels from very mild to very spicy(from 1-10).

WOWWWW!!!! We are visiting California for a few days and were looking for a spot with good vegan options. We found this spot and it was a total gem! Delicious food, incredible ambiance with beautiful decorations and the service was kind and friendly. All of us were raving about every single dish we ordered and as a party of 6, we ordered quite a few options. Highly recommend: coconut vegetable curry, eggplant dish, mushroom rice, okra dish. If I lived here in California, I'd come here weekly. I'd highly recommend this spot!

Great food Our 1st time here and it was amazing! Food was fresh, delicious, we got chicken Tikka Masala, it was melting in our mouth.. our server was Rajom, he was great and very kind. He even gave us 2 free Baklava on the house.... Definitely coming back.

After our visit to the Malibu temple in Southern California, we are looking for a vegetarian Indian place to eat. While our heart was at the right place, to watch veg only, but when we saw the dishes being ordered by the neighbours, we did order some non-vegetarian dishes. We had salmon fish and coconut curry, my son had the Rogan Ghosh lab spicy level 8 out of 10 and my wife had a shrimp bhuna curry. These are followed with naan and rice and boy, The food was just excellent. They take a while to prepare but that is because they're preparing everything ground up. You can taste the difference between freshly made food and something that has been prepared a few hours ago. If you are in the VenturaCounty, 101 and Malibu area, Anarbagh is must visit. The food is excellent and the decor chic and the service is par excellent. Must visit!!!

Finally, we had the chance to taste some Indian food. We usually spend the weekend with family, who aren't fans of Indian food, but today was the day. We chose this restaurant because of the high ratings on Yelp. We started with two refreshing and delicious mango lassi drinks and some naan bread. The waiters were very polite and smiling all the time. The chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken came out, and they didn't last long on the table--we loved them! We're definitely coming back for more delicious Indian food. Just park in the back of the restaurant; it's free. Highly recommended!

Service and food were fantastic. If you've never had Indian food I strongly recommend eating here for your first time. We were a party of three and not big fans of Indian cuisine. You will not be disappointed in the food. You can't miss and the staff is very helpful in guiding you with what you may or may not like. They do Indian food really well!

The staff here at Anarbagh make sure that our glasses are never empty and that we are always taken care of. We decided on ordering some Indian food and stumbled on Anarbagh. This location has been in place for years and I finally committed on placing an order. Ordered a handful of items to properly review the quality. We enjoyed all of the items, highlights being the Samosas and Pakoras. I personally believe that dining in the establishment would be a much better experience versus takeout. Besides that the server, Abdul, was very hospitable. Thank you, Abdul!

Shahan, This gentleman was fabulous. He was our attentive server for the evening here at Anarbagh. Me and dear friends came in on a Saturday night and were quickly greeted by Shahan who got us seated in no time. We sat down and he instantly recognized one of my friends, who comes here quite often, and they got into some fun banter before he took out drink orders. Our drinks arrived and they also offered to reseat us to a more spacious table (not that there was anything wrong with our table) seeing as it would be more comfortable for us. Very thoughtful. They insisted that they would move everything for us and to not pick up anything as we moved. We felt spoiled. Our food order was then taken by Shahan who was patient with the older folks of the group. The food arrived in a timely fashion, not too fast, not too long, just right. During our meal, Shahan checked in, filled our waters, but did it in a non prying way, and always with a smile. We rapped up, and he brought us some dessert pastries on the house, as well as a beer to the friend of mine that visits often. A little more banter was exchanged and we ended the night with smiles on our faces. Just like the smile that Shahan treated us with when we first walked in. P.S. The food was spectacular. We all practically rolled out of the restaurant.

A friend and I ordered the Executive Lunch for two. It was a bargain. It was also delicious. The service was excellent. Someone always around at the right time. There was nice music playing and not too loud. It was not crowded, and we were able to linger which was very nice. Plenty of parking outside, meters free on Sunday. Also free parking in their lot in the back. I would return for sure.

I want to start by saying how glad I was to stumble upon their private parking area in the back of the restaurant with an entrance ! They have street parking in the front but you know how that can be on busy Ventura Blvd . We ordered : $13.95 Aloo gobi was more saucy than I wanted it to be so it wasn't my favorite but it also was bad. $17.95 Shrimp coconut curry was delicious. $17.95 Shrimp masala curry (not pictured) was amazing ! $15.95 Chicken tikka masala is one of my go to's and they did not disappoint. $3.95 Basmati rice $4.95 Garlic basil naan Service was great . They were on point with everything .
