The Hit List: New San Francisco Restaurants To Try Right Now - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"A platter of lahmacun the size of a MacBook is a centerpiece on every table at this Turkish spot in the Mission. It’s a mandatory order here, along with the buttery mantarli pide with mushrooms and a sprinkling of za’atar. The lamp-lit restaurant has enough tables and bar seating for any waves of post-Dolores groups. It’s perfect for debriefing a particularly dramatic week over hot and cold meze, or date nights involving a bottle of wine and marveling at chunks of chicken that glide off the skewer with ease." - julia chen 1, patrick wong, lani conway

Anatolian Table is a great catch-all dinner spot - Review - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Anatolian Table is the Mission’s catch-all restaurant. The Turkish spot on the crowd-magnet that is the corner of 18th and Valencia draws in a continuous stream of couples seeking a nice weeknight date, solo diners looking to spend some time with a glass of Greek wine at the bar, and sun-beaten post-Dolores groups. They're all here for anything coming out of the oven, from platters of lahmacun and buttery mantarli pide to house bread. Plus, it's walk-in-only and never too hard to snag a table, which is an advantage on Friday nights when everyone forgot to make plans. Just show up, put your name down, and be fine with the fact that you'll soon be at least 75% flatbread. photo credit: Monica Lo photo credit: Monica Lo photo credit: Monica Lo Pause Unmute Food Rundown Lahmacun The centerpiece on every table here. Order one to split and get rolling with the accompanying tomatoes and sumac onions. photo credit: Monica Lo Mantarli Pide Our favorite of the boat-like flatbreads. It’s got an earthy mix of mushrooms, gooey cheese, and a trail of za’atar. photo credit: Monica Lo Adana The minced lamb and beef kebab is smoky, charred, and arrives glistening in its juices. If you’re going to get a meat entree, get this. Chicken Brochette These chunks of chicken glide off the skewer with ease. Among the other just-fine chicken dishes in the city, this one stands out. Meze Combo A standard array of hummus, tzatziki, falafel, and much more. Nothing from the checkerboard of dips will really blow you away, but it’s good for a group. photo credit: Monica Lo Kasharli Beyti Appropriately saucy and topped off with pistachio dust. It’s a solid main that’s super easy to share. photo credit: Monica Lo Manti Each candy-sized dumpling comes with pinched edges and pleasantly chewy wrappers. We’re big fans of these. photo credit: Monica Lo" - Julia Chen

There hasn’t been a line when I’ve come in the evening for dinner and we got seated quickly. There are outdoor heaters too. Their service is good and servers are all Turkish. This spot might be one of the best Turkish places in SF according to my very Turkish friend. Love the food especially the manti and pides and etc. definitely would come back.

Google
Dined here for the first time with my friend and we arrived around 6pm. We were able to be seated immediately since I don’t think they take reservation (or could find it online). We ordered a variety of dishes: falafel, kalamar, lahmacun, and sultani. It was the perfect amount for two people. Everything was absolutely delicious and my personal favorites were the lahmacun and sultani. We didn’t have enough room for dessert, and so that means I’ll just need to come back!

Google
We had a great time here. We ordered Manti, Kasarli Beyti, and Lahmacun and everything was extremely delicious and full of flavor. The service was great too, special thanks to Hussain for being attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable and we will definitely be coming back.

Google
A Taste of Anatolia Done Right The Anatolia Table truly delivers on every front. We started with the borek—crispy, golden, and filled with flavor—then moved on to the manti, little dumplings packed with deliciousness. The kasharli was rich, gooey, and just the right portion. Everything tasted authentic and satisfying. Add in the warm service, the cozy ambiance, and the choice of sitting either inside or out, and you’ve got a spot that feels like a little slice of Turkey right here.

Arrived at 545pm without a reservation. Was placed at the bar immediately. Service was exceptional, I'm sorry forgot the young ladies name. She made delicious suggestions and answered all my questions. The restaurant within 15 minutes of my arrival. A line out the door when I left. The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Traditional dishes from my middle eastern travel experiences. Service was again exceptional, food arrived quickly and aesthetically pleasing. Great price point for the quality and quantity of food served. Highly recommend you give this gem a try!

Google
Disappointing overall! The service and ambiance was great but the food was mediocre at best, especially considering how much we paid. The pide was tasting sour and below average, and the Soltani meat was dry, bland, and too stif. This food may have passed if we were not familiar with Turkish food, but it fell short for us.

Google
From the moment we walked in, Fatima made our dining experience unforgettable. Her warm energy, sense of humor, and genuine care created an atmosphere that felt both vibrant and welcoming. She, also, made us laugh, and shared amazing recommendations that elevated our entire meal. Fatima has that rare gift of making every guest feel special, and her positive energy stayed with us long after we left. The food was absolutely incredible, but it was her exceptional service that truly made the evening one of the best we’ve ever had.

Google
We went to Anatolia Table again yesterday—it was our second time—and honestly, everything was just as amazing as the first! The food is seriously so good. Our favorite is definitely the pastirma pide, we love it. This time we tried the Sultani kebab too, and wow, it was delicious. We really, really liked it. The desserts were on another level. The kunefe was incredible, and the ekmek kadayifi was honestly one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. Everything we had was super tasty and just made us so happy. Also, Fatima and Huseyin were helping us—they were both so nice and friendly! They gave us great suggestions and checked in on us, which we really appreciated. The whole vibe was warm and welcoming. Anyway, just wanted to say this place is awesome. We’ll totally be back again!

Yelp
Located in a former pizzeria, this busy corner restaurant is small on the inside, but doubles its space by having a lot of tables outside, including in a parklet on the curb. There are heat lamps to keep outside diners warm in the cool (frigid!) San Francisco evenings and culturally-appropriate music piped to the outside at a reasonable sound level, still allowing for conversation. The owner is friendly and generous (invited us for free coffee when we welcomed him to the neighborhood during their grand opening!), and is very willing to accommodate. But you want to know about the food, don't you! Well, it's delicious! We ordered the Meze Combo ($29), which includes so many choices and is vegetarian: tzatziki, tabouli, hummus, borek, falafel, ezme, sarma, badimcan, olives served with a delicious, fresh-tasting flat-ish bread. We also couldn't resist an order of the Anatolian Fries ($9), dusted with a tasty blend of za'atar, sumak, paprika, and parsley. You could put za'atar on a rubber tire and I'd eat it! These were, of course, far superior to anything at an automotive store!! My husband couldn't resist ordering some Kibbeh ($14), which are "ground beef, bulgur, onion, spices ,cumin, parsley, nuts, yogurt, fresh lemon, and burnt paprika butter". They were on the mezzes menu, which was a nice way to try more items without ordering too much food! The outside area is WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE. The inside is partially so, with access from a side door, not the front entrance. I have not used the bathroom there, so I can't speak to that. I'll definitely enjoy their food again sometime soon, and I'm so glad they've moved into the neighborhood!

Yelp
What a welcomed food experience! We decided to go on a family dinner on a whim. We arrived around 8:30 pm to a lively scene! They have a spacious outdoor seating area and a space inside as well. The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. It felt like coming home to dinner with family. They all played with our baby and ensured we had all that we needed. The food itself was delicious and had so much flavor. We ordered the meze combo, Mantarli pide, and the halikarnas tava. The Mantarli pide was reminiscent of a pizza but better in my opinion. The halikarnas tava was the star of the show! The flavor was uniquely exquisite. We also enjoyed some wine, most notable was the vihno verde! I would go back. I want to become a regular. It's so good I am dreaming of trying new things on the menu!

Yelp
Had dinner here and wow this place is legit. We got the shareable mezze, yogurt kofte, beyti, chicken brochette, manti, and kunefe. Everything looked amazing and came out quick. The yogurt kofte was fire, super flavorful with the perfect mix of yogurt and bulgur. The beyti was another hit, rolled in lavash and topped with pistachio, chef's kiss. Turkish tea? Perfect. Strong, hot, tea slapped fr. Not sponsored btw, just sharing a few pics of what I actually ordered. Didn't wanna turn dinner into a full photo shoot for the table lol. Go try it, seriously one of the best Turkish spots in the city. Shevsky'nin deneyimi, çok güzel!

Yelp
Great for dinner! We visited Anatolian Table on a Saturday evening and got seated right away with no reservation. I didn't get to see the interior, but the outdoor area had a nice ambiance, despite being practically on the sidewalk - good for people watching! For starters, we shared the Meze Combo and two orders of Kibbeh (for 4 people). Both were delicious! I especially loved the tzatziki and borek in the combo. The Kibbeh were also fantastic in their lemon yogurt sauce. For entrees, we also ordered items to share - the Sucuklu Pide and Manti. The Sucuklu Pide was delicious and super filling! The dried beef soujouk was fantastic, and I'd be curious to try this with egg next time. The Manti were also excellent - definitely tinier than I'm used to, but killer in the garlic yogurt/tomato sauce and burnt butter. We couldn't resist trying the Kunefe for dessert, which I was obsessed with. The combination of sweet pistachio with salty cheese worked so well together. Service was friendly and mostly quick, aside from getting our check at the end. Would return for more!

Yelp
The food here is consistently always really great! We got the Meze Combo and the Yumurtali Pide which almost felt like too much for two people. The Meze Combo was honestly filling. The vibe is so nice, if it's a nice night out I recommend asking for outdoor seating to people watch while you eat. If you're going for great food and a good ambiance, then you should definitely come here. It can get pretty busy on weekends so prepare to wait for dinner!

Yelp
Anatolian Table provides great Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of the Mission area. Within walking distance of Dolores Park, it was the perfect spot to rest and have dinner after a long day in the city. The restaurant itself is beautiful with an old school vibe and plenty of lush greenery off the site. Everything we tried was tasty but on the smaller side. Mezze combo (4/5): Standard sampler of the usual Mediterranean appetizers such as hummus, falafel, tzatziki, tabouli, and olives. Smaller portions of everything, but everything was good. Appreciated we were offered a refill on the bread to make sure we finished everything. Yogurt Kofte (4/5): The seasoned ground lamb and beef was tasty, but felt cooked a little under and a bit on the small side. The yogurt provided a nice creamy counterbalance and the onions had the perfect acidity. Surprisingly, for a Sunday night, it was easy to walk in and get seated. However, as the night went on, it did pick up. As mentioned earlier, the service was attentive. Overall, for a nice light dinner with friends, I would recommend Anataolian Table!

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the old Flour and Water Pizza space. When we arrived at 6 pm it was empty, but by 6:30 the place had filled up quickly. I was glad we chose to sit inside because PG&E decided around 6:45 that it was the perfect time to dig into the sidewalk directly outside, right between the outdoor dining booths and the entrance. That was a close call. I came on a double date with some best friends, and we started with the meze platter to share. Everything was delicious, but the item I cannot stop thinking about was a small yellow crispy egg roll type bite filled with sweet cheese. It was absolutely spectacular. We also split a kebab platter, which was tasty, and another standout was the lamb flatbread. I may insult someone by saying this, but a drizzle of the yogurt sauce served with the platter would have taken it to an even higher level. It was such a fun night of sharing food, trying different flavors, and enjoying the lively atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Visited on a weekend night with friends around 5:30pm, restaurant had a handful of other guests but plenty of open tables both inside and outside. We grabbed a table outside and were promptly seated. Food: Meze Combo - good, platter has a great variety of spreads, dips and appetizers, hummus was smooth and creamy, tatziki was tangy with a nice dilly flavor, badimcan stewed eggplant was probably my favorite with nice rich roasted flavor with a nice dose of olive oil, ezme was a little chunky with a great balance of sweetness and savory nutty bell pepper, falafel, dolma, and borek were all solid, bread was served along side was the perfect vehicle for dipping Lahmacun - solid, flatbread was super thin with a slight crispy texture but still pliable enough to roll up with the pickled onions, herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice, well seasoned and a pretty tasty flatbread, could have used a touch more salt to finish for the meat on top but enjoyable Manti - good, lots of little dumplings served with a yogurt and tomato sauce, wish the dumplings had a little more filling or seasoning and dish came out a little hotter Chicken brochette - very good, two large skewers of chicken that were cooked perfectly succulent and juicy, served with a rice/ bulgar and stewed veggies and chickpeas in a tomato forward sauce, definitely worth a try if you visit Service was solid, very attractive at the start, food was well paced, water was refilled throughout our meal, did take a while to clear plates and get the bill. Overall enjoyed Anatolian Table, a good option to try Turkish cuisine in the city. Menu has a nice variety of options, pricing a little bit high but for the serving size and quality felt fair.

Yelp
One of my new favorite restaurants in SF! Took over a pizza spot so they have the ovens to make mediterranean flatbreads, which I don't see too many of in SF. - Kibbeh - ground beef balls with onion, cumin, parsley, nuts, and yogurt. This is one of my favorite appetizers and perfect for sharing. - Meze combo - a sampler dish of tzatziki, tabouli, hummus, borke, falafel, ezme, sarma, badimcan, and olives that's perfect for trying a bit of every meze type. - Manti - anatolian meat dumplings served in garlic yogurt, tomato sauce, and burnt butter. Okay, this is so good, I got a second order Flatbreads are definitely the star of the show, thanks to the mentioned ovens. - Lahmacun - a super thin flatbread topped with ground meat, bell peppers, onions, parsley, and tomatoes. Comes with campari tomatoes, sumac onion, parsley and lemon which you additionally add to the flatbread, roll up, and eat. Flavor bomb. - Kusabi pide - flatbread with minced lamb, kesseri cheese, bell peppers, tomatoes, and herbs. Reminds me of a supreme pizza, which is nostalgic to me, but 100x better Anatolian Table is a cool new addition to the city with a casual yet cozy atmosphere and friendly service that brings dishes not commonly found around the city.

Yelp
I'm not really getting the hype, if I'm being honest. I tried one of their signature Pides (Sucuklu, or Turkish sausage). It was good, but after tax & tip came to $29, which is steep for what is effectively a fancy flatbread. I didn't find the dough to be particularly special, and given that they supposedly lead with their baked goods, I expected something with a little more "pop." Also, the sausage was tasty, but I found it to be a little one-note, and on this particular item would have liked some other topping or garnish to cut the saltiness. It was served with a side of very fresh chopped tomatoes and onions. If it were $10 cheaper, it would have been an easy 4 stars, but even in this financial climate, I can't justify the high cost.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place!!! So glad I decided to try it out. For a party of 2 for dinner at 6pm, there was no wait at all. Loved the ambiance both indoors and outdoors. But most importantly the food was sooo good. We ordered the mushroom flatbread (forgot the actual name of it), and a lamb and beef wrap thing (also forgot the name). Both were amazing!! Definitely get a flatbread if you come here, the presentation is really cool, and the dough is the perfect amount of chewiness / thickness. One of the best flatbreads ive had. Would definitely come again and bring more ppl with so we can try more things on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful nice and aire decor...a little tight on the tables. Overall, highly enjoyed the restaurant and can't wait to come again and order more dishes. Today, a Saturday night was packed... in & outside with some overflow waiting. I was very grateful for the owner being able to place us quickly for a late night meal. We ordered the meza sampler and one of the flatbreads. The sampler was tasty and different. Flatbread wasn't my favorite, but you could clearly taste the bell peppers and meat. Highly recommend this new gem to the city.

Yelp
My new favorite Turkish restaurant in the city! Everything was so delicious and the service was amazing! We went early on a saturday right when they opened so we got lucky with seats since it got busy quickly. It gets a little bit loud but it's better for smaller groups. Food ordered: Octapodaki (10/10): the octopus was so soft yet chewy and the flavor was amazing Yumurtali Pide (8/10): the pide was delicious and i loved the cheese on it. I'm definitely interested in trying their other pides Manti (10/10): I've never had good manti in the city until now. This was absolutely addicting and i'll 100% be ordering it again! Feta Garides (9/10): I normally don't love prawns but these were so perfectly seasoned that I could definitely get used to it. We added chicken kebabs to our order but it was slightly dry although still flavorful. Drinks ordered: Shalgam (10/10): first time trying shalgam and loved it! It was sour and sweet all at the same time. Never thought i'd enjoy fermented turnip and purple carrot so much. It's my Turkish boyfriend's fave drink and this definitely lived up to his expectations! Ayran (9/10): i've tried aryan a few times and I don't personally love it, but my boyfriend does and said this is one of the better ones he's had in the cityz Turkish Tea (9/10): ordered multiple cups of this since it paired with everything We also ordered dessert but I can't remember what it was called. Definitely can't wait to come back and have already been sending my friends this rec to try as one of my fave places to eat in the city!

Yelp
My husband and I were able to dine here Saturday night without a reservation. We started with the calamari which had a wonderful flavor. The meat was soft and tender and the tomato based sauce worked very well. The complimentary bread was a great addition to sop up the juices. I had the sultani and my husband, the Adana. The sultani was SO flavorful and incredible balanced. The lamb/beef was soft juicy and the bell pepper butter paste on top was a great addition. The eggplant puree had a wonderful smoky flavor and the yogurt was great for mixing and dipping the bread into. My husband's Adana was also very good but his meat seemed a tad bit drier than the sultani. We ended the night off with the bread pudding but it seemed a little stale and was way too syrupy. Other than that, we fully enjoyed our meal and can't wait to return.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with this place. I've been twice in 3 days!! I walked in both times in the evening with a group and was able to be seated immediately. It's such a nice vibe in there with good mood lighting and the tables just far away enough from the other customers. I got Mezze Sampler - great to try a little bit of everything and was a fan of most of the items! Pastirma - good but I personally could skip it. My friend just loves carpaccio and I don't. Octapodaki - literally the best thing we ate Kibbeh - meat inside could be a little more seasoned but the crunch was flawless!!! Yogurt Kofte - the flavors worked so nicely together- the meat was seasoned well and nice and moist. The rice was perfect on its own, and the tomato yogurt bread thing it was all sitting on was delicious too! Mantarli Pide - kind of like a flatbread cross with pizza, really loved the bread and I like that they had arugula on the side for you to choose your own adventure with how much to put on there Overall 10/10 definitely coming back- clearly as I've been back already!!

Yelp
Good food, great service, but a little over priced in my opinion. We got a dumpling, calamari appetizer, and a salad to share for the table. Seasoned well and a great addition to the area. I sat inside but didn't love sitting by the door. I'd probably opt to sit on the patio if the weather is nice next time.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night for dinner at 6:30 PM with a party of 4 and we were able to be seated outside immediately. Heat lamps keep their outdoor patio toasty, so no need to worry about that! Waitstaff are busy but friendly, and they get your food out in about 15 minutes. I got the Adana plate, which consisted of a large piece of ground beef and lamb that was surprisingly juicy; some places they can overcook it, so I'm glad this place did it justice. I loved the pickled onions on the side to cut through the meat, and the vegetables with the chickpeas added some freshness to the meal. So many dishes looked amazing, next time I'm here I'll do family style so I can try as many as possible!

Yelp
Walked in as a party of three on a Saturday around 6 pm and were sat right away, there were a couple tables inside and outside available still. Service was attentive and well versed in the menu and offered great recommendations. I ordered the meze combo to start, the bread was fresh and warm and accompanied all the spread so well. The borek was light and cheesy, hummus was creamy and tasty, and the ezme was sweet with a light kick of spice. The combo is a wonderful sampler appetizer if you're in the mood to try a bunch of food. The yogurt kofte was delicious, the minced beef was cooked perfectly, and the bread cubes absorbed all of the sauces make each bite full of flavor. The burnt butter pilav was fluffy and enjoyable. I wish I had more room in my stomach as the flat breads looked incredible. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time I'm in the city.

Yelp
The food was great, but the service from one particular waiter was disappointing. It's not my nature to judge a restaurant based on the experience interacting with one server, but a restaurant should know if there's an anchor on board that's weighing them down. For the most part, the staff members were great, except for the one we had. He had a dismissive attitude and seemed to be rushing us from the minute we walked through the door. I would love to return, but hope not to get the same waiter again. BB

Yelp
4.5 but rounding up to 5 ## vibe * prime location with lots of indoor/outdoor seating. the space is very airy with lots of windows and a great view onto the busiest part of Valencia St! * no wait at 5:30/6pm on a Monday, but it was busier than most restaurants in the neighborhood * service was friendly and fast, but we never felt rushed ## food/bevs * they had some turkish non-alcholic bottled drinks that i'd never heard of. the ayran was basically a salty lassi and the salgam was a fermented beet/carrot drink. i'm not sure i would get either again as the former was kind of thin, and the latter was way too salty, but they were fun to try. * the meze combo was 5/5 and one of the best i've had! my favorites were the tzakiki, hummus, and badimcan but honestly everything was amazing. we even got a free bread refill. * OTOH i thought the lahmacun was overhyped. it wasn't bad, just underwhelming. next time i would rather try one of the pides.

It was a great experience. ordered wine to go with the dishes .I suggest to make reservations. we had one at 6pm . By 7 we could see people lining up. wish I remembered all the dishes we ate. Ill be back for sure...

Yelp
Got here on a Friday night and waited in line. There was a paper to sign in your name but didn't seem to be going off it strictly. We got seated outside and is lovely inside and out. There's heat lamps outside but didn't have them on since the weather was fairly nice still. We ordered a bottle of wine and our waiter was kind enough to give us a sample of the wines we were deciding between. We ordered the kibbeh, lahmacun, and manti. After waiting an hr we still didn't have any food and most of the restaurant had cleared out. It was really busy upon arriving but said something to our waiter as everything had been quite slow. Turns out our order never got out in. They comped an additional bottle of wine which was kind and all our food came out in the next 5-10 minutes. The kibbeh was delish with good texture, filling, and flavor. The lahamacun was also good and always love how thin it is and the flavors. It was a good portion and didn't disappoint. The manti was really small. I'm used to large dumplings but these were quite tiny with a dime size portion of meat/filling inside. Flavor was fine but wouldn't order again. The other food we saw coming out looked good. I'd come back to try some other items but hope things get smoother all around with service and seating

Yelp
This is a seemingly new spot in SF that's really causing a stir! It specializes in Anatolian food, which is now modern day Turkey. The staff are all polite and helpful. The restaurant is extremely well decorated. Cute touches like lamps and containers of Olive oil are thoughtfully placed with a gorgeous bar looking out into the kitchen. Beautiful wood tables and really perfectly chosen dishware. Even the bread basket is outlined with a gold trim. The food is excellent. The mezze platter was a great option to try lots of different things. The falafel were pretty basic, not fried to order. The sarma were also pretty standard. I am a sucker for tabbouleh salad and hummus, both of which were great. We also ordered the lahmacun which seems to be a stand out here. We watched a local eat it and learned that you add the fillings - parsley, tomato, and red onion - into the slice and roll it up like a wrap. So good! I could have had an entire one of these to myself. I would definitely come back for one of these! There are two unisex bathrooms with two sinks available outside. Seating indoors and outdoors and at the bar.

Yelp
Anatolian Table in San Francisco - An Authentic Turkish Culinary Experience That Transports You Straight to Istanbul As someone who has traveled extensively through Turkey--from the bustling bazaars of Istanbul to the coastal towns of Antalya--I've been searching for a Turkish restaurant in the Bay Area that captures the heart and soul of Anatolian cuisine. Anatolian Table in San Francisco is that place. Every visit brings me back to the rich, vibrant flavors of Turkey, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots for an authentic Turkish dining experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and Kazo, the owner, consistently greets every guest with genuine hospitality that reflects the heart of Turkish culture. While I've dined inside, I highly recommend sitting at the counter near the ovens, where you can watch Eingin and his talented team craft fresh bread with absolute mastery--it's a mesmerizing experience. Ismiel, has an incredible memory for details and ensures that each guest's order is executed flawlessly while making everyone feel at home. When ordering Turkish tea, Fatima presents it beautifully, upholding tradition with every pour. Tugba is always friendly and attentive, rounding out a team that truly elevates the entire dining experience. Must-Try Dishes at Anatolian Table, San Francisco: COLD MEZES Tzatziki ($11) - 5/5 Made with lebni, dill, cucumber, and olive oil, this tzatziki is incredibly fresh and creamy. You get two generous scoops, served with homemade bread that's soft and warm. If you prefer a crisper texture like I do, ask for it to be served thinner and toasted. HOT MEZES Kibbeh ($14) - 4.5/5 Think of this as the Turkish cousin of a loaded pizza without the sausage. Made with ground beef, bulgur, spices, and topped with yogurt, lemon, and burnt paprika butter, it's bold, rich, and indulgent. Be careful--it's served piping hot. Anatolian Fries ($9) - 5/5 These fries are always hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned with za'atar, sumac, and paprika. They pair beautifully with the tzatziki. My friends and I finish these quickly every time. FROM THE OVEN Lahmacun ($26) - 5/5 This thin, crispy flatbread topped with spiced ground meat, bell pepper, onion, tomato, and parsley is the dish I keep coming back for. I always pair it with Adana skewers and wrap it with the accompanying onions, parsley, and tomatoes. Add a side of tzatziki for a creamy contrast. MAINS Adana ($26) - 4.5/5 A blend of minced lamb and beef, grilled to perfection and served with sides like kale, sundried tomatoes, and bulgur pilav. While excellent as a main entree, I prefer wrapping the Adana in a Lahmacun for a flavor-packed bite. DESSERT Sutluac ($11) - 5/5 This rice pudding is creamy and delicately sweet, topped with crushed pistachios for texture. It's a perfect balance of richness and lightness and my favorite dessert on the menu. Baklava ($12) - 4/5 While the flavor is traditional and sweet, I personally prefer a flakier texture on the top layers. This version was more on the chewy side, though still satisfying for a sweet ending. Final Thoughts: If you're looking for authentic Turkish food in San Francisco, Anatolian Table is a standout destination for flavor, atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, you'll feel like part of the family here. I heard they'll soon be opening for lunch and revamping their wine list, which makes me even more excited to return and see what new delights they'll introduce. This is a restaurant that not only honors tradition but continues to evolve--truly worth the visit.

Yelp
Food was fantastic, we got the Kusbasi Pide, Kasarli Beyti, and Sultani. Everything was delicious, super savory! Only reason for 4 stars is service was okay, got a drink order wrong and we had to ask twice to correct. Otherwise great place for a casual dinner shared with friends!

Yelp
I went at 6:30pm for 2 on a Sunday and was able to get a spot outside walk-in. Ambiance is lively and service is nice! Kibbeh ($14) was crunchy on the outside and delicious when dipped with yogurt. Beyti ($26) was also very tasty. Both dishes had lovely plating. Both were protein heavy dishes, making for a satisfying meal split among two. I do have a smaller stomach though, so might recommend another dish for others.

Yelp
Yes this one is a 5 star (fairly rare in my reviews !) The decor is nice and the atmosphere is quite livwly , services great- attentive and knowledgable and we overall had a great experience As for the food: 1) kibbeh- very good , not too thick of a shell and the meat tastes fresh (4/5) 2) pide with mushroom and cheese - yummy ! The dough was very good and the cheese and mushroom weee just the right amount (4.2/5) 3) yogurt kofta - 2 very yummy kebabs with just the right meat mix . With the yogurt and tomatoes the dish was excellent (4.3/5) 4) sutlac - was good and not sweet . My better half thought it lacked some more rice (4/5) We also got a glass of Malbac and a glass of rose which were both good . Prices were reasonable We will be back for sure !!

Yelp
We sat at the end of the bar and watched these get made. The bread was soft yet crispy. The meat was well seasoned and moist. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu.

Yelp
Popped in for dinner (Friday night, 6pm) and the place was pleasantly full, with only a few tables still available. We chose to sit at the bar, because we love to watch the kitchen. Our server was friendly and helped us order the right about of food - we knew we each wanted our own dessert. Shared- - the Meze combo everything was not only delicious but beautifully presented. I'd consider ordering this as my entire meal. (My favorites were - badimcan, ezme, and the borek) - sultani - lamb/beef kebab esque, served with Smokey eggplant and red peppers, and a yogurt sauce, perfect portion. - ekmek kadayifi - bread pudding w/ ice cream, yum - kunefe - cheese covered in crispy phyllo strips and covered with a light syrup and pistachios (we always order this if it's on a menu) Everything was delicious, and seasoned perfectly.

Yelp
The first time I dined here, the food blew me away. It came out so hot and the manti was unbelievably decadent! The flatbread we got was delish as well. The second time we came the food wasn't as hot and didn't blow me away as much. Maybe was an off night so will give them a go again. Just hoping for an experience like the first!

Yelp
Anatolian Table just opened earlier in spring, didn't have much reviews but saw other Yelpers had positive reviews so why not try it? I was curious about Turkish food, only had it once 10+ years ago in Berkeley. It was pretty popular on Monday evening when many places are closed. We were party of 4 and shared a couple dishes to try different things Lahmacun - tasty, thin bread, roll it up with tomatoes, onion, parsley. I think we should just each order one of these next time. Pide (mushroom one) - tasty thin crust Tabouli salad - small portion, skip next time. Adana (main)- expected bigger portion, one large doner but only like 2 bites for everyone. Bulgur was like brown rice, not a grain I typically eat but liked it. When the waiter said there were some sides, I thought there were Korean banchan style side dishes. It's like a scoop of side. Overall solid food, no mishaps for a new spot, nice modern vibes and atmopshere but I was like 80% full so we got dessert elsewhere.

Yelp
This spot is a decent new addition to the neighborhood. Honestly, I was initially a bit disappointed when this place replaced Yellow Moto because I don't usually crave Mediterranean/Turkish food. But I ended up having a pleasant experience here. I recently dined here with a friend for dinner on a weekday. Inside was pretty empty when we initially arrived around 6:30pm, but all the tables began to fill up soon afterwards. We shared the meze combo and lahmacun, which was just the right amount of food for two people. Although nothing in the meze combo quite stood out to me, I still recommend getting it if it's your first time dining here so you get to sample a little bit of everything. Of all the flatbreads on the menu, the staff said that the lahmacun was the most traditional item and recommended it. This did not disappoint! I've never had anything like it before, and I'm so glad I got to try it. Service was also friendly and attentive. I'm open to coming back to try more items on the menu next time!

Yelp
This was a belated birthday celebration. We had the lovely server, Tugba. She sided with me in ordering the lahmacum. I call it a pizza but it is not. Its a flat bread with grounded beef and lamb. It comes with the most freshest parsley that looked like cilantro. Also red onions which doesn't have heavy onion taste. My friend wrapped it all with the flatbread with squeezed lemon. The other dish was Yogurt Kofte. Beef and lamb shaped like sausage on a bed of yogurt, tomato, marinated bread. With red rice. Love the yogurt sauce. Our dessert was Kunefe and my friend loved it. Not very sweet syrup. It was very cheesy. Flavor is perfect combination. What a great place if you are eating with your palate.

Yelp
3.5 STARS Who can say, "No" to meat sticks! Kebabs, that is. Anatolian Table opened in Mid-March 2025 from the owner of Blind Butcher, Dunya, Lark, and Opelia (Los Gatos). Open for takeout, indoor dining, and outdoor dining. Dog-friendly. I don't see Anatolian Table on any rezzie platforms yet but we were promptly seated on a weekday evening during primetime dinner time. M E N U Aegean and Anatolian (Turkish) cuisine- cold and hot mezze (apps), salads, pide/flatbreads, and entrees. GF, vegetarian, and vegan friendly. Beer and wine available (no full liquor license). F O O D * Sucuklu Pide: Flatbread, dried beef soujouk, onions, campari tomato and kesseri cheese ($21): https://tinyurl.com/yfhjacmp My fav part of our meal, the elongated boat-shaped Turkish flatbread with a crisp-chewy border was topped with rich, buttery kesseri cheese and dried Turkish beef sausage akin to a spiced beef pepperoni. Delicious and savory. You can never go wrong with carbs and cheese! * Yogurt Köfte: Zirch minced beef, cumin, red onions, house bread cubes, house tomato sauce, yogurt, burnt butter served w/ meyhane pilav ($26): https://tinyurl.com/yhsesfzf Craving elements of a Iskender kebab (i.e. buttery toasted bread and yogurt), I went with this for my main. I enjoyed the crisp pide cubes with cooling yogurt but felt the rest of the dish needs work. The köfte had a wet spongy texture and could have had more char. The Turkish bulgur pilav was too mushy for my liking. * Adana: Zirh minced beef & lamb, onions, parsley, red bell pepper paste, served w/ chickpea, kale, red cabbage, sundried tomato, meyhane pilav, marash ($26): https://tinyurl.com/bdn57yt5 Not my dish but I had a taste. The adana kebab fared a little better, tender with more spices and touch of sweet earthiness from the marash (red pepper flakes). But, the dish felt unbalanced with both the tomato-y veggie side and tomato-y bulgur pilaf. S E R V I C E Very friendly staff and prompt service. A M B I A N C E Modern rustic vibes with table seating for about 25 people and bar counter seating. Sidewalk and parklet seating outdoors. P A R K I N G Garage parking at Mission-Bartlett Garage, 3.5 blocks away. Overall, while the food was a mixed bag, Anatolian Table is brand new so they have plenty of potential. Given the lack of Turkish restos in the area, they're nice addition to The Mission/Mission-Dolores dining scene.

Yelp
Anatolian Table was booming when we visited on Friday night, and the hype is justified since everything was absolutely amazing. We tried dolmas as appetizer, Kusbasi pide and Lahmacun as main dishes. I can say that Lahmacun was one of the best I have ever eaten in Bay Area. My only minor criticism is that it could be served a bit more hot, but it is understandable given how packed this place was. For pide there is nothing that comes even close in Bay Area. It was delicious and crispy. We wrapped the meal with rice pudding, which was very light. I loved the taste of pistachios on top. I also want to add that owner/hosts were super friendly and nice. We will for sure come back to try new stuff.

Yelp
Loved this place!! Such a good addition to the neighborhood. The staff were all so friendly! Burrata was fantastic, as were the pide and the yogurt kofte. Only qualm was that we ordered our pide with sunny side up eggs but they gave us scrambled. They seemed extremely busy so we didn't want to point it out. We'd definitely come back and order more food :)

Yelp
TLDR; very good & worth the try!! Go support! After the closing of Yellow Moto pizza, I was really curious to see what restaurant would replace it. Anatolian Table is a welcome addition to Valencia, bringing delicious Aegean / Anatolian food to the street. Service was great & the staff was kind. We asked for their recommendations and ordered the yogurt kofte, adana, and kusbasi pide. I also got the octapodaki as I love octopus! The kusbasi pide was similar to pizza. I thought it was solid but nothing unique or stand-out. However, all of the other dishes were great. Both the yogurt kofte and adana were well seasoned and tender. My favorite was the octapodaki-- I don't think it's listed as an entree, but I felt that it was the perfect size as I wasn't very hungry. The arugula was nice and fresh, balancing well with the butter beans & sauteed tomatoes. The octopus was cooked perfectly, keeping it firm but tender at the same time. Overall, we had a great time. They also have outdoor seating with heating lights. Definitely will be going again!

Yelp
Anatolian Table is the kind of restaurant San Francisco was in need of. I've been there a few times in the past few weeks because I simply can't stay away. As a big fan of Lahmaçun, I can confidently say theirs is the best I've had anywhere in the U.S. The service is warm and genuinely hospitable. From the owner to the chef to the wait staff, everyone is incredibly friendly, so it already feels like a second home. The space itself is beautiful and immaculately clean, which speaks volumes about the care they put into every detail. This past Saturday evening, I showed up a bit late after they had already closed, but once they saw me, the chefs reopened the kitchen and still delivered an amazing experience for me and my friends. Safe to say, I'm officially a fan of Anatolian Table.

Yelp
This restaurant is always buzzing and busy, and a great date night spot on the Valencia corridor. They don't take reservations, but there was no wait on a Sunday evening. Everything in the mezze sampler was delicious, my favorite was the labneh. The moussaka was a standout, every bite was cheesy and delicious.

Yelp
Anatolian Table has a lively atmosphere with great music. Nice place to dine outside. The servers were friendly, helpful with the menu and efficient. The dishes we had, see photos, were beautifully presented and of high caliber. The sutlac, rice pudding didn't have much detectable in rice texture and was OK but the Kunefe was great!

Yelp
Authentic, Delicious, and Full of Heart! Anatolian Table is truly a hidden gem that transports you straight to Turkey from the very first bite. The moment you walk in, you're welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The food is absolutely outstanding -- everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. every dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. You can really taste the authenticity in each bite -- it's clear the chefs know and love what they're doing. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. They're happy to explain the dishes and make you feel like a truly valued guest. The service was quick, but we never felt rushed -- just perfectly paced. If you're looking for a true taste of Turkish cuisine in a warm, inviting space, Anatolian Table is the place to go. We'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Food was great. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Biggest complaint is with the service. Our server was rarely around. It took us 20 minutes after getting seated to get water. The owner actually had to direct him to our table because he saw we were seated for so long with no progress. Big ups to the dude by the way, pleasant fellow. Gets people seated and even offered for people to come inside for the warmth. Whenever our server was around it was good but bro was not around. For a restaurant at this price point, that's just not acceptable. The place is vibrant and modern. The presentation of the food here is spot on and makes it look extra appetizing. The moussaka is phenomenal. Any eggplant enjoyer would thoroughly enjoy that dish. The heaters for outdoor seating keep you warm and they're alternatively turned on on warmer days to prevent it from being overbearing.

Yelp
The bread: stone cold. The food: totally bland. We ordered the tzatziki, octopus appetizer, and seafood squid ink pasta main course. The tzatziki was worse than some I've bought in a grocery store. The bread served with it was absolutely cold, and no amount of additional bread brought to the table ever materialized warm bread. Then came the octopus appetizer, which was quite rubbery. I could forgive it if not for the price; I've had some delicious grilled octopus for $22, this wasn't it. Finally the seafood pasta, which was passable. I had this place on my list for a while for some good reviews, but I've had few worse Mediterranean dishes than these.

Yelp
Food here is great! Despite what everyone says about some portions being small - I didn't think so. Me and my uncle had a hard time finishing a lamacun together. I will agree with another reviewer, there are certain foods that when it arrives at your table is lukewarm at best - cool at worst. and I really think a lot of our dishes would have been really really good - if it were somewhat hotter. Not sure why that is. Almost felt like I was eating left overs of an amazing meal or something.

Yelp
Food was really delicious. Absolutely loved it. We ordered couple of things to try. Sucuklu Pide, Mantarli Pide and Kasarli beyti. I liked all of them. My favorite I would say Kasarli beyti meat wrapped on lavash. Service was friendly. They have indoor and outdoor dining. We sat outside and yes they have heaters. Highly recommended

Yelp
Finally got to check out this place and LOVED it ! We went for dinner on a Friday night and had to put our names down . The wait wasn't bad given how busy the restaurant was. We got seated at the bar and could see all flatbread getting cooked ! That made me order the veg flatbread with cheese / mushroom . The crust was so well done and tasted delicious ! We also ordered the Borek and Yogurt Kofte too .. everything was so yum ! We can't wait to be back soon to try other dishes on their menu ! So glad to see this place open in the mission !

Yelp
Beware - this restaurant hides the health mandate fee (4%) in the tax without mentioning it on the reciept or possibly even on their menus. A very shady way to run a business.

Yelp
Delicious food and very good service. Their pide is beautifully presented and delicious. Their meats are great too. I came here with a picky eater and we both left happy.
