"The sports bar closed its San Marcos location in mid-July because, as owner told Community Impact, 'lack of revenue.' The San Antonio and Schertz locations remain open." - Nadia Chaudhury

We’ve been to the Buffalo NY location and it didn’t disappoint. The SM TX location didn’t either. We were seated quickly. Our waiter Joseph was very courteous, funny and treated us as family. The kitchen manager was awesome too. We were able to try sauces before getting them, beer was nice and cold, wings were just as expected! We will definitely be going back.

This is the old Mamacitas restaurant. I wanted to give this place some love since I hardly every see the parking lot full. I decide to place my order online. I roll into the parking lot, the parking lot is not very full at all. It is a tad bit confusing trying to find where you pick up To Go orders. (It was in the spot where they used to make flour tortillas.) I was impressed that our food was immediately ready when I came into the restaurant. The chicken wings were big wings and you got more than 8. You are going to pay almost $20 for a wing meal deal with side. We only got some small thing of ranch, which we paid extra for. The wings were flavorful. They are much larger than some of the other wing places we have visited. I also ordered a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak. The bread was fantastic. The chicken had little to no flavor at all. The veggies were cooked perfectly. I had expected a tad bit more cheese on the sandwich. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of flavor and lack of cheese. I ordered tater tots for both meals. Whoever is working the kitchen was a tad bit heavy handed salting the tots. I ended up throwing my tots out. They were crispy, but not editable with the amount of salt they put on them. Overall, this place left me with mixed feelings. I expected the food quality to be a little higher than what it was. If I was just reviewing on service alone, I would give this place 5 stars. The food was descent, but lackluster. I had much higher expectations of this place. I am hoping the quality will only get better.

This place needs to be known, as a person who likes good tasting and even unique burgers this place makes my top 5 for sure. In the town of San Marcos it's in the top 3 best place to get a burger. The burger is unique and with its coleslaw on it (which I never had or heard of) made this burger good and unique , I had the bbq bacon burger and I added the 5 wings.. the wings are good sized and with juicy meat on the inside . My father had the pecan salad with its blueberry vinegrate sause, man the salad pop. All in all I'd say come in enjoy the food, nice atmosphere, good caring staff , and even good alcoholic beverages.

Starting off with some speed bumps, we were seated quickly but had to ask for a server after a long wait; waited long enough to put our drinks, apps and dinner order at once. Finally a waitress from another section took our table. From then on, service was great and even tipped a deserving 20%. Food is good but definitely not worth the prices. They charge extra for separating two sauces on a 10 piece order that’s already $17, plus another charge for blue cheese (≈$19). They forgot to sauce half the wings, so they just poured it on the plate. Got food dropped on me by a different waitress. No specials on Wednesday, which is against the unwritten wing laws of sports without forks, shame. In all seriousness, I rather keep it homegrown with Pluckers.

I was excited to try the restaurant for its variety of menu items. We ended up getting an appetizer sampler and some Anchor Bites that were on special. All of the food was crisp and tasty. The medium buffalo sauce and honey bbq were both nice. The honey BBQ actually a bit of a surprise, I guess it has a nice tang to it. They allowed us to use potato wedges for the load fries portion of our sampler (I was craving wedges). The pizza logs weren't what I envisioned but they were warm and gooey to our liking. Their fried breading in the mozzarella and Mac balls is pretty hearty. Overall it was an enjoyable snack spread. The staff were all pleasant. Our only criticisms were the atmosphere - probably could have been a little darker and for some reason they push their chairs in at angle which created a very disorganized appearance. I don't think it had the intended effect. We'll probably be back some time to try the burgers and pizza, and get some more boneless wings!

I don’t see this restaurant lasting very long. Waitress was nice but place has no atmosphere. Just tons and tons of tables. I ordered 2 appetizers and the Brussels Sprouts were burnt. They didn’t charge me for them. Tchartedhe sweet potato fries were okay , not great but not horrible, small portion size. I will only go back if someone else in my group wants to go but definitely not going to be on my list of places to go back to. Update: per owners comment about not enjoying the “Crispy Brussel Sprouts” - per picture I just uploaded I’m not sure “crispy” would be the correct adjective I would use to describe what I was served. I think burnt, scorched, charred would be more in line to what was presented to me.

I absolutely love this place. Let's start with the bar atmosphere first. My personal favorite is Danielle. She absolutely sets the tone for the whole bar and the atmosphere. My drink is never empty and the great conversations are endless. She's super good at what she does and this place is lucky to have her. Let's venture out to the dinning room. Ms Harlee is absolutely crushing it. For this being her first serving position, you'd never know. She greets you with a smile a small conversation. She's the reason why I don't care where I sit. She's super attentive and has an eye for detail. Between these two...this place is in good hands.
