The Outdoor Drink Dispenser That Can Be Passed Down Through Generations | Eater

"Vintage glass beverage dispensers produced by a now-defunct glass company frequently turn up on Etsy and represent a classic, collectible option among the many dispenser styles and materials. These large glass jars with airtight lids and spigots exemplify the form most often used at family gatherings: highly customizable (etched designs, painted fruit motifs, stickers) and practical for parties because they’re transparent, easy to transport and refill, and helpful for distinguishing adult from kid-friendly drinks. Beyond their utility, they carry sentimental value as heirloom artifacts that evoke memories of celebrations and family traditions." - Jesse Sparks

The Surprising Versatility of an Old-School Orange Juice Carafe | Eater

"Another long-running glassware firm noted among sellers of vintage orange-juice carafes; historically rooted in the same era as other classic manufacturers and still producing kitchen goods and tableware today. Items attributed to this maker regularly appear in online vintage listings and are part of the mid-20th-century aesthetic resurgence around these retro carafes." - Emma Wartzman

I’ve used this anchor hocking 2 cup measuring cup for many years and it seemed to be just as good quality as the Pyrex. I just needed a 3 quart baking dish and saw the anchor hocking at Walmart for less than seven dollars. Took it home and washed it. It was hard to get the glue that they use from the cardboard insert off. But then I noticed little cracks on the underside And thought oh no that’s not good so I returned it to Walmart and went to get another one and inspected at least four of the same and they all were like that. So I bought the Pyrex, which looks perfect.

Hello everyone, I have to be honest I use anchor Hocking glass ware. But another reason I am writing my grandson that has disability issues. Has been hired and from what I gather doing his job. I always will support this company and others whose willing to give a disabilied young adult a chance to be self sufficient Good kid not on probation not a trouble maker. But someone was making fun of him, See he has tics something that he can not help comes with his disease and studetters. Diagnosed with Asphbergers. He just wants to work. That's only issue he has had. So I want to publicly thank this company to give someone a chance. Thanks Marilyn Sloan

5 year warranty on bakeware? Ours didn’t even last 5 minutes in a 350 degree oven. I purchased a dish today to cook dinner in for family visiting us from 7 hours away. I had been planning this dinner for weeks and purchased groceries specifically for it. Not even 5 minutes into baking, we heard a loud bang and saw our dish and all of our dinner contents strewn across our oven in a glassy disaster (see photos). Not only are we now out money for the dish itself, but for the dinner we had cooking as well as over $100 of takeout we had to order last minute. Displeased is an understatement. Thank God this didn’t happen while my mother was taking the dish in or out of the oven.

I had the old stackable anchor hocking set, and the biggest bowl shattered one day in the cabinet. I just received my free replacement. This company is awesome.

I ordered 6 glass coffee mugs and I am so pleased at the excellent quality. They are made in America which makes it even better. The customer service far exceeded my expectations. The packaging was very good and the shipping time was good as well. I can't say enough about the quality of this company. I will be ordering more from them soon. I won't buy dishes of any kind made in China. I only buy made in America. So thank you Anchor-Hocking for great quality and keeping the jobs here in the U.S.

I am a resident of Lancaster and am proud to have an American made manufacturer in our Glass City. I own mostly Anchor-Hocking glassware and will continue to support this company as they make great products. I do not mind them being in town and I do not believe it is an eyesore to our community.
