The 20 Best Seattle Cafes To Work In

"Anchored Ship is perfect if you need calmness to park it and get serious, but also like changing up the scenery without having to relocate to another coffee shop. There are window-facing bar seats if you like working while people-watching, a back room full of tables for the heads-down crowd, and if you’re lucky enough to find it unoccupied, a micro-loft with string lights and a living room set. They serve Washington-sourced roasts like Kuma and Camber, and sometimes there’s a fun special, like lemon-lavender cold brew. " - aimee rizzo

The Best Seattle Coffee Shops With Outdoor Seating

"This spot that we love for almond macchiatos and lavender lemon cold brew normally doesn’t have any outdoor seating, but they recently took over Ballard Ave. to make room for a makeshift patio. Plus, Anchored Ship serves Counter Culture coffee, a.k.a. espresso bean royalty." - aimee rizzo

Anchored Ship Coffee Bar Review - Ballard - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Anchored Ship is excellent if you want a chill place to hang out and possibly get some work done, but also like changing up the scenery once in awhile without having to relocate to another coffee shop. We realize that’s specific, but if you’re a person who posts up at coffee shops on the regular, you know this is a very real problem. This place is tiny, but there are window-facing bar seats if you like working while people-watching, a back room full of tables for the heads-down crowd, and if you’re lucky to find it unoccupied, a micro-loft with string lights and a sofa. Their lattes are great, and if you're a wine fan, they double as a natural bottle shop." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
Anchorship Coffee is a staple in the Ballard neighborhood, and I've been coming here for years. One of my favorite things, especially in the summer, is their coffee slushy—it’s absolutely amazing. I’m not usually a fan of cold coffee, but this has definitely changed my perspective. The staff is generally friendly, though some are more personable than others. I actually like that diversity in energy, though. Growing up in Ballard, which was once a neighborhood full of sailors and had a rougher edge, the staff here often reminds me of that nostalgic old Ballard feeling. That’s not to say they’re rude, quite the opposite. There's just a certain charm in the way they interact that reminds me of the area’s past. My only complaint is that the prices have risen significantly. An 8oz latte with a pastry or other baked good can run up to $12 before tip, which feels a bit steeper than other spots in the neighborhood. Thus, I've gone from once a week here to about once a month as a treat.

The Mocha I had was very impressive, brewed with the espresso blend roasted by the Kuma Coffee Roasters. Though I have been a fan of this roasters for several years, I had never tasted their espresso blend (or any other blends). They also have very impressive selections of wines from all over the world for retail. Has anyone had a wine from Slovania? If they were to offer pour over, I would rate this place 5 stars.

Google
This coffee place is so easy to miss! This place was recommended to me for their baked goods. And, the recommendation was spot on! I tried the buckwheat banana bread - it was soo good!! Dense, moist and delicious! Everything you’d expect from a banana bread! I also loved how filling it was too! I also tried the pistachio matcha with oat milk - I didn’t know what to expect but quite liked it and would recommend it too, if matcha is your thing. 🙂 They’ve a lot of art pieces on the walls and have seating upstairs - check the place out - it is a very inviting and happy place! They’ve some glassware for sale as well! You can check those out along with all the wine bottles in there!!

Google
Peculiar coffee shop in the heart of Ballard. The layout is a little clunky as it appears to be an old house converted into a coffee shop. Not much they can do about that, but it still feels clunky. I didn't feel inclined to stay and hang out more than 15 mins. The shop ended up being pretty busy while I was there with a single barista, so the service was a bit slow. I ordered a Mocha and Hot Chocolate and both drinks were decent, but I don't think I'd go back given all the options available.

Google
Lovely coffee bar that emanates the soul of Seattle. Service is friendly and laid back, coffee is very good and the burritos are surprisingly tasty and well-made. Cozy seating and a warm, inviting atmosphere make this a wonderful asset to Ballard.

Google
Very cozy spot - perfect winter day nook! Yummy food options and the coffee was phenomenal. Service was fast but personable. Nice loft set up with contributes to the overall atmosphere. Small spot upstairs though so watch your head on the way up. Would and will come back again and again!

Google
A Sunday staple for us. I usually get a vanilla latte, which always hits the spot. I have noticed depending on the barista the latte can be hit or miss. Always friendly and quick service and lovely spot. The wine shop also has great options if you are in the market for a bottle.

Google
This is a charming coffee shop that also has an interesting assortment of bottles of wine from various areas for sale (check out the vermouth varieties from Spain). My go to, regular drip coffee, was very good, and triple shot vanilla latte was also smooth and excellent. Artsy/hip area (clean and safe) to walk around, too. Very friendly service with a local vibe. Nice, relaxing place to sit and sip, or visit with others. Worth the visit.

Yelp
Adorable space with wonderful coffee and pastries, plus you can find some excellent natural wine here!

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday early in the morning before the farmers market opened. The barista was friendly and offered recommendations since I hadn't been in before. I tried their matcha, which was okay - a good amount of sweetness, but was not whisked enough. They had a wide selection of wines and alcohol on the side that was also for sale - a great spot to pick up a quick gift. There was tons of seating in the back. Given the time, it was very empty and quiet (though they were playing heavy metal, which was not my vibe). Overall, a good experience, though it won't be my go-to in the area!
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
I liked their chai and the barista was very friendly and helpful. This spot has indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice too. The inside also has a few other items for sale, like natural wines, glassware, and more. This spot felt very local and neighborly but also very modern and well-stocked. It had way more than I expected initially from the size. Great place to stop and browse and have a little boost to your day!

Yelp
Imagine this: You walk into a small corner of the universe that smells like warm, melted nostalgia, the kind that hugs you with chocolate and whispers sweet nothings of sugar-coated promises. The cookies? Well, they're more than cookies. They're the kind of baked love letters you'd write if you had flour in your veins and a soul dipped in vanilla. The service? As sweet as that first bite. The location? Cozy enough to make you wonder why the rest of the world isn't built for reading books and stealing moments with another perfectly baked treat. And the coffee? It won't make you question your life choices -- it'll just help you savor them a little longer.

Yelp
One star for the hospitality. One star for the aesthetics and local art decor. But as a coffee shop, it did not make it on my list. I tried the famous lavender chai latte and I can't say that I tasted anything but watered down milk and a pinch of spice. It was also an extremely small cup, and $5 for a 6oz did not seem worth it. I wouldn't even pay $1 for it. I feel that this place is more of a wine shop that just so happens to serve coffee. It seems etched into an apartment building that was converted into an office space. Though there's plenty of wall outlets, there's only about 7 tables in a tiny corner that if one guy coughs non-stop, they'd infect the majority of patrons. Unfortunately I had two of those during my visit and I was not the only one who wanted to get out of there.

Yelp
I love this little coffee shop and we decided to meet there for the farmers market this weekend. It was absolutely pouring rain outside and we thought grabbing a warm drink and sitting inside to warm up would be perfect. The staff does not allow you to sit inside because it can get "too busy"??!! If that is not the most backwards business tactic ever. To make matters worse we all ordered lattes that were served lukewarm. After the initial curt reaction from the barista I did not dare ask if I could have her heat it up. I have had great experiences here so i was very sad to leave just as cold as I was when I arrived. On a lighter note, the salmon berry goods buckwheat banana bread is excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok coffee, rude service that's all I have to say. Please any other cafe on this beautiful street in Ballard will be better.

Marco V.

Yelp
I got the pistachio matcha. The drink was lukewarm for some reason and the matcha was so clumpy and not mixed in to the point that it was undrinkable.

Yelp
This place has lots of good vibes. Coffee shop right when you enter, wine shop just beyond and upstairs. It's a little tight on the entry and not a ton of room for the line but that's ok! The breakfast sandwich took a bit long to take but was well worth it. The veggie pesto was obviously handmade-pesto, fresh motz slice and homemade veggie Patty! So good. The cold brew is delicious and holds up on its own without flavor or creamer. A little sad the upstairs sitting area was closed off, there weren't any places to sit and eat/drink so you have to be taking it to go. Other than the seating issue I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Cute coffee spot in downtown Ballard. Stopped in to work for a bit in the afternoon and liked the place. Its quiet and they have no music too- which felt good as I had meetings today, they have wine bar too, lots of wine all over the store as well to buy.
google avatar

Angela R.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop. Great coffee! Really interesting selection of organic wine though we did not purchase any as we were leaving town the next day. The decor for the upstairs seating area is nice, it's also a shared space for their wine. Barista was sweet and helpful!
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
Super swift service, the decor was soooo quaint and cute, conveniently located for grabbing a coffee and hitting all the cute spots in Ballard, and the coffee was very good and was out in a jiffy. I would absolutely come here again.
google avatar

Grayce C.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop inside an eclectic wine store. This place has ample seating pretty good coffee! I had a vanilla late, which was nothing special and a rice crispy treat which was delicious. My only complaint really is how cold it was inside, I was working remotely and was literally shivering the whole time and had to leave.
google avatar

Raz S.

Yelp
Good vibe + good coffee = happy customer. I had their seasonal blueberry matcha Frappuccino over light ice and enjoyed it on the patio in Ballard. The barista for the hour was actually the owner. I would definitely go back and try their other creations come summer.

Yelp
This is a great local coffee shop to grab some coffee and go or sit down and do some work! This is located on Ballard Ave so it's right in the middle of the lot of restaurants on that street and in that area. Based on these reviews it seems like the lavender chai latte is really popular. I didn't order that but I got the hazelnut iced latte which was good. One cool thing is that they have a flavor wheel which will help you decide what you should get based on what flavors you like or what you're feeling at the moment. They have a nice area behind the counter where people can do some work using their free wifi. There also seemed to be an upstairs space that people can also use which makes this place bigger than it seems! There's even a lift to allow those with disabilities to get to the back of the shop who can't use the stairs. How inclusive and accessible!

Yelp
We are very picky about espresso and the lattes were great here ! Great barista - didn't have to wait long either.
google avatar

Kristin M.

Yelp
I love this place. I can't wait until it's open for indoor seating again. Great coffee, pleasant barista and the breakfast sandwiches sound amazing! Parking is hard in the area so do yourself a favor and walk!
google avatar

Yelp
No, I don't have any photos to add of the peanut butter sesame cookie, or the pistachio oat milk latte, yelp. they were both gone immediately. holy cow. when the barista said their PB cookies were better than expected, i was set up for a good cookie, and it still overshot my expectations. chewy, moist, savory, nutty... too good. and yay for pistachio lattes! seldom seen, always a pleasure. their wine selection looked great. saw some bottles i recognized from other natural wine shops around. the space is clean and quiet and welcoming, and the staff was super sweet n kind. definitely a great experience. thanks!

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop! Adorable seating in the upstairs area. Went on a weekday and it felt so secluded and quiet. Got the chai (hot) and a hazelnut americano (iced). Both drinks were decent. Very nice service from the barista, and she was able to tell me which company they get their syrups/flavorings from (Holy Kakow which is organic). They also have some type of wine club and lots of wines on display, which is cute.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
Great space to work! Got a pumpkin latte to try - didn't have strong pumpkin taste and wasn't overly sweet. Looked like they have a great wine selection! Would come back to try a few out! Seemed to be a lot you wouldn't see at the grocery stores.

Yelp
Is it always this overpriced? $7 for this small iced coffee that was the size of my fist. Save your money and go to a more reasonably priced coffee shop.

Mariella R.

Yelp
My favorite coffee place in all of Seattle! Great espresso roast, even better chai blend, and the staff are always super sweet!
google avatar

Sean L.

Yelp
Very cute coffee shop in Ballard. Right when I walked in there was a sweet little balcony area above where you order the coffee to sit a chill, nice touch. We got a couple of lattes and they have multiple options for milk including your typical milk and almond/oat as well. The prices are reasonable for a coffee shop and the service was friendly and prompt. We were there mid-afternoon on a weekend and it was not too busy, there was plenty of space for our party of five people to sit down in the back and relax. Fun fact - there's a nail salon connected to the place so you could go get your nails down while you're there. The lattes were delicious and the coffee shop was very homey and welcoming, really enjoyed our break from exploring Seattle here!

Yelp
An excellent artisan coffee shop, with a smooth, winey CounterCulture local roast in the grinder, excellent Salmonberry Bakery pastries, food and drink options for pale, angry vegans and militant vegetarians yet approachable for normal folks too. Fun, artsy, local atmosphere. A cravable Ballard experience! I always start with a little mocha, because I have coffee trust issues and because it's nearly impossible to screw up. You just need to be at least as good at making espresso as your average Starbucks barista...or my cat. Chocolate covers a world of sins...although to my misfortune I can usually still taste them. Theirs was saintly indeed, the unusual chocolate sauce they use lent brown sugar and vanilla notes to the molasses and nut tang of the espresso, the flavors smoothed together nicely by the milk. The effect was a mildly sweet cocoa and coffee, with hints of honey. Very pleasant. Trust established, I moved on to a straight espresso. Although I would have preferred the barista had poured it straight into the service cup instead of transferring the shot (you lose valuable crema when you do that) the shot was pleasantly nutty and lively on the nose, belying it's South American origins, but tangy (winey) on the tongue, with a strong molasses note and hints of spice and anise, likely from its African component. Finish was slightly bitter. A slightly longer full extraction pulled ristretto might ease that finish. Nonetheless delightful! The Cappuccino, which I consider to be the pinnacle of the barista's art when done well, was unfortunately done in the wet, Seattle latte style. It was however quite beautiful (see picture) and well-proportioned, (cappuccinos should be 1/3 espresso, 1/3 milk, and 1/3 foam) if a bit milk-heavy. The marvelous molasses flavors really shine through in the unsweetened cappuccino, and the finish is chocolaty and comforting. CappQuest©rating 9/10 An exemplary cafe in the embarrassment of coffee riches that is Ballard, and a must-stop for any coffee lover! Highest recommendation.

Yelp
We stopped in for an afternoon pick-me-up. I had a 12 Oz lavender chai tea latte and my daughter had the 8 Oz pumpkin spice version with oat milk. They were delicious! Surprisingly, they were served in paper cups even for here. I was happy to discover that that we could compost them when we left. Cute atmosphere, wall mural and little décor touches. The menu is short but has plenty of good options. Great place to work or study upstairs.
google avatar

Yelp
Coffee was decent at best. The wait was VERY long. Our sandwich was supposed to take 7 minutes per the barista but we waited 18 and were told someone else took our sandwich then it magically appeared in the oven and ready. The matcha was also ok at best.
google avatar

Doris W.

Yelp
Cute lil coffee shop in the middle of old town/downtown Ballard. I have ran in here twice to grab a cup of coffee. Both times, I have enjoyed their daily drip! I am not a fussy coffee drinker when it comes to local shops (I only get fussy at Starbux haha). Parking: Street parking Great place to stop by for a cup of joe when wandering the Ballard Farmers Market on Sundays! This place gets busy! Overall, cute atmosphere inside and friendly employees!
google avatar

Niki H.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my matcha latte from here - it was well balanced. Unfortunately they don't take cash which is what I use most of the time, so I find myself going to other coffee shops instead that do. If they took cash I'd definitely be stopping by more often!

Yelp
Totally fantastic and delightful local coffee shop. We flew into Seattle for a meeting not far from Anchored Ship and we were delighted by their friendly staff, excellent service, and quality drinks. This was a particularly interesting occasion because our visit was amidst the current COVID19 Shelter In Place orders and all food/drink establishments are Take Out only. Thankfully it was a beautiful day to walk the empty streets. We're super appreciative of the fact that Anchored Ship has stayed open despite the current social and economic challenges. I was thrilled to be able to support them and look forward being able to visit them next time we're in town for a meeting. Folks like these represent the best of small business America. Keep up the good work!

Yelp
Great place one of the few real places on the Avenue. Part of the "Old Ballard" with decor to match. Wish they had microbrew. Cold brew coffee offered. A rather wide selection of wine. Both upstairs and outside seating under a makeshift covered area extending onto the street from the sidewalk in front. Food limited to a breakfast sandwich (mozzarella with either ham or roasted pepper on a ciabatta roll, $6). Lovely people working here.
google avatar

Arlene S.

Yelp
The coffee shop is located on Ballard Avenue surrounded by various restaurants and boutique shops. Good stop if you're walking around the area to shop around. With covid19 precautions, the staff asked the guests to wait outside the shop with an umbrella covering when it rains. Once you ordered, then you can wait inside. They have an outdoor seating area if anyone wants to stay to sip on their coffee. They have a space with different types of wine and decorated by artworks from local artists. The staff was extremely friendly and the order was completed fast. I got cappuccino with vanilla syrup and it tasted great. My partner ordered the drip coffee and it was more acidic than I expected so wasn't a huge fan. Saw another reviewer that lavender chai latte was recommended so definitely want to come back and try other drinks.
google avatar

Liz O.

Yelp
We were perusing at the Ballard Market and stopped in for a coffee. It was very busy due to the market but worth the wait for good coffee. I liked that stir sticks are made of pasta and compostable. The comfy loungy spots are usually taken, so best to take your cuppa to go.
google avatar

Jane L.

Yelp
Not sure about the pricing at this cafe. I paid $7 for a 12oz specialty latte drink and around $6 for a hazelnut latte. You can buy similar drinks across the street for less price, especially since this street in Ballard has multiple cafes and brunch spots. The flavors were not special enough to justify the price, so I don't think I will be going back here. Do not wish to be astonished by $14 bill for 2 cups of latte.

Yelp
I went to Anchored Ship Coffee Bar today with my friend to do work and it was an okay experience. I have heard a lot about it in the past few months and have been meaning to give it a try. Overall, it was fine, but that's pretty much it. The environment of the shop is very cute. It feels homey and is overall pretty cute! The coffee was very good, except their caramel flavoring in my latte tasted a little off. I honestly couldn't pin down what it was about the flavor, but it wasn't caramel-y it was almost a little nutty instead. Honestly, no idea. The wifi is free, there are good spots to do homework and it is decently quiet. However, the line moved so incredibly slow it was ridiculous. There was one girl working, but either they need to be able to better staff or have people capable of doing multiple things at once, which it didn't seem like she could do. Due to the layout of the space, sound travels. There are little signs around that say to use headphones, but I think that's suggested to drown out the sounds of extremely loud talkers. This was my other issue with the employee. She was "speaking" at the same level most people yell. Idk if it was the sound being carried, but I am pretty sure she was yelling everything. Which definitely kinda ruins the environment. It was pretty annoying to be very honest, and it wasn't just my friend and I that noticed it. Another customer sitting beside us also commented on the loud barista. I might come back, I might not. There are other shops in the area I think have just as "cute" of a space, but better customer service and a quieter staff.

Yelp
argueably the cutest coffee joint in Seattle! This place shares its space with a little sewing store making for a very intimate space. The best feature is the little upstairs nook which feels like a cross between a tree house and club house. Sort of like the Joe Bar in Capitol Hill but even smaller. It is probably worth noting that it is a little toasty up their which is nice in the colder months but might be stifling in the summer. The barista working that night was very charming and friendly. Great place to fuel up in Ballard!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Well, I don't always give 5-STARS, but I have to admit this is one of my favorite coffee places of all time! It is located right in the historical section of Ballard, near all the funky shops. It's really a great place to hang-out and chat with friends. Whilst my wife and I were here, we saw a lot of locals come in for a visit and coffee. Everyone was really friendly, but maybe that's how all Ballardians are. There's a fabric/sewing shop in the rear, and offices beyond that. There's also a small "lending library" that patrons can use to trade good books. I submitted a copy of Joel Osteen's, "Become a Better You," and checked-out some poetry book by Donald Miller. Anyway, whenever we're in town from Dublin, we make it a point to stop here and stay a while. The last time I was here there was a wild "Geocaching" convention in town, and the place was swarming with all kinds of really geeky people, thirsty for brews. Just this past weekend, we were in town again, and even though it hailed on us, we were determined to stop here again. We were so drenched when we came through the door, that all the other customers just stared at us, as though we were troglodytes. (Several of the locals kept telling us how unusual the weather was, but we were skeptical.) On our last visit, my wife and I each had a cappuccino. Very promptly made, and the price was more than reasonable. (Much cheaper, and much fewer calories than that fun chocolate store across the street.) There's one barista (the tall guy with the wild beard) who is really knowledgeable. I asked him a lot of questions about how coffee is made, and he knew all the answers! Incredible! He even explained to me how the roasting process works. He looked a little familiar to me, but I can't quite place him, and I was too shy to ask him his name. Perhaps someone else can figure it out. (Maybe he's been in movies?) There's also a Wi-fi that I was able to use. (I admit I just guessed the password.) This saved me a few minutes on my chintzy data plan. so that's a plus. Finally, I have to mention the cozy upstairs nook. There's several seats and small tables up there. On cold days, it stays nice and warm! I stayed up there a while later on when the weather got really cold. In fact, I'm up there right now, reading that book by Donald Miller. Hmmm... interesting ...

Yelp
In a word: disappointing. My lavender chai smelled fragrant but did not taste good at all. I've also gotten a latte here but it was forgettable. The real reason for the two stars: bad customer service. The blond barista with a nose ring couldn't have been ruder to me.

Yelp
Hands down the best lavender chai I've had. I didn't read yelp reviews before making my decision, so I'm glad that I picked a popular one. The flavors are well balanced and nothing was overpowering. I was floored after a sip. Friendly staff. Cute decor. I'm a fan.

Yelp
Really cute little coffee house. They made my soy latte perfect! The drip coffee was excellent also. I got a coconut lime bar and it was amazing! Lots of cute seating upstairs.

Yelp
Anchored ship is a peculiar place. Enter the front door and move through some steel braced frames and order at the small front counter. There are a number of pretty decent drinks, and a great selection of pastries. From there, you can either hope to find a spot in the comfy loft above the front desk, which has a couch and comfy chairs. If there's a spot here this is the gold mine, a little hideaway nook to enjoy a delicious beverage. Beyond the 100sq ft at the front, the rest of the shop is up some stairs to a fairly plain back room. For being called Anchored ship, the Maritime theme is lost here. There's an odd collection of cheapish chairs and a few tables, but really not too many. All the walls are cream-colored with a very random assortment of decorations. What I will say is the chairs are at least not stools which is more accommodating to those who would like to slowly sip their coffee and read a book or talk to a friend. I think if they painted back here and decorated with a bit more of a theme, hopefully one paying homage to their name, and added a bit more seating this could be a great place. Perhaps anchored ship is meant to imply that they just landed and set up shop? But I don't think so. :)

Yelp
Cute little small coffee shop and all but some employees weren't that friendly. I usually feel welcomed when entering a coffee shop and while I'm taking my order. The day my cousins and I visited, we didn't get such great service. There was two employees working who didn't quiet acknowledge us and there was no one else in line. We stopped by many coffee shops with only one Barista working who was super friendly and gave us incredible customer service. That's how all baristas should be. Not sure if I'd come back here. I ordered a lavender chai and I've honestly tried better. I tasted more milk than lavender.

Yelp
Asked for only a little ice in my iced coffee and was told that they would charge me extra to fill up my cup since I asked for less ice. Very poor and petty customer service.

Yelp
Based on a to-go order. I got a quad oat milk latte which was quite delicious. The worker was friendly and service was quick despite me not being first in line. I initially ordered a triple, but they brew their espresso shots in batches of 2. The coffee bar has seating, but I didn't utilize it. The area where you order coffee is pretty cramped. Barely room for 2 people.

Yelp
Pretty cute place with some limited food options but great coffee and chai! It was an awesome place to work and I think I wound up buying 2-3 drinks just for myself!

Yelp
Ah! We were in Ballard shopping and wanted a quick hit of caffeine :) waited in line for 15 minutes since it's one in and one out. The place is adorable and staff was really friendly. But our lattes were "meh". I'm surprised because the reviews are great. We both got the oat milk latte, they use Califia which is a good brand of oat milk. So it has to be the espresso or the temp they heat the milk. It tastes a little burnt. Maybe a deep clean of the espresso machine? But we typically grab coffee at espresso vivace daily and back to back comparison this doesn't come close. Hopefully it was just an off day! Bc this place is adorable! They also have natural wines for sale at a super reasonable price!! I bought a bottle that the barista recommended. Will update when I give it a taste :)

Yelp
Oh this place is such a surprise! Lots of spots to sit down and enjoy a quiet place to work on your laptop while having a delicious cafe and snack. Today I'm enjoying a pumpkin chai ...mmmmm. Loving this place and loving fall.

Yelp
I had been to this place a few years ago and a lot has changed since then! They've added MUCH more area to sit. They used to not have a seating area in the back, but they've added more tables and seating there. My bf and I ordered a cappuccino and pour over. And we were both amazed at the quality of the cup of coffee! The beans that were used for our coffee was the brand: "Counter Culture."I immediately went to the front and bought both bags of beans: the ones used for the espresso and the ones for the pour over. Also, their decor is just so beautiful...... Who wouldn't want to study or meet in this space? A must-check out cafe in the Ballard area!

Yelp
Friendly service, delicious coffee and well worth the wait. I love visiting this coffee bar, especially when Rosie is working.
