Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding perfectly cooked steak, rich sides, and every bite was full of flavor. You can tell real care goes into the quality and presentation of each dish. The sauces were incredible and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. It has a true speakeasy vibe — warm lighting, classy décor, and an intimate, upscale feel that makes the whole experience special. The second floor dining area is especially beautiful and cozy, giving you that hidden-gem, old-school lounge energy. It’s the perfect spot for date night or a special occasion. Between the food, the service, and the ambiance, this place is a 10/10. Can’t wait to come back.

The Adult happy meal is well worth it. The wings are great to share, crispy and moist. The pig in a blanket are a great shareable while the mac and cheese 🧀 definitely get 2 because you will want more. The drinks hit the spot and don't disappoint. Definitely a great neighborhood spot and a must if your from out of town. BTW if you sit near the door wear your coat its a bit drafty in the winter.

Just came for the second time with my sister and we had a great time. We had the tuesday’s adult happy meal. The cocktails were amazing, food was pretty great and service was excellent, would like to thanks Nick for the hospitality, he definitely make it better. I will come back and also bring friends to this awesome restaurant!

10/10 food and experience - we got the steak frites with the 18oz option. Genuinely incredible. The vibe and staff were also fantastic. Creamed spinach was so good Definitely coming back — one of the best priced menus we’ve seen in a while! Excited to try their other menu items ASAP ❤️🥩🍔 Come here for an amazing date spot ❤️

I’m gonna be honest I’m at a loss for words. I’m rating this on the quality of the food alone because the vibe and service was ok, however there was no music which I found strange. The burger which we came for specifically, was dry and flavorless. It tasted like my grandmothers chop meat - not in a good way. Pedestrian at best. The creamed spinach was bitter and may have been the most dissatisfying, along with the 35 dollar French dip which was soggy and stale. I’d categorize this as bowling alley food. The meat was edible, but it felt like a shop rite meal I could have executed better myself. I left annoyed and feeling nauseous. I’ve been on a burger bucket list hunt in Manhattan, and this was by far the worst, almost putting me off burgers entirely. My entire night is derailed. I wouldn’t recommend this meal to my worst enemy. Friendly staff was their only redemption.

The food is great and the staff is very welcoming. It’s one of my favorite restaurants! And they have so many good deals, I still can’t believe they have happy hour on the weekend.

We had the most amazing Caesar salad here and the mac and cheese is also delicious! The wait staff were really friendly and accommodating and they made the best cocktails as well as non-alcoholic mocktails! Will definitely come back here again and recommend it to all our friends.

It was a cute dimly lit restaurant. The ambience was nice. I ate here with my sister. Could easily be a place that you bring a date to. The food tasted good. I had the perfect cut of steak that was cooked how I like it. I also had the French Onion Soup which was also delightful.

I had been wanting to try &Son for its Adult Happy Meal for quite some time. Got to do it today. I had the Adult Happy Meal. Duh. :) with a gin martini. So good. Exactly what I had been expecting. Great location. Sat outside on a perfect afternoon and view of 9th St. Server was great! Definitely will go back. Cheers. :)

I have been wanting to try this place for a while after coming across a social media post about their amazing steak dinner deals/prices. I was NOT disappointed. When you walk into the establishment, it is into a cool, calm looking bar and the restaurant is 'speakeasy-esque' - it's located through a door at the back of the room. The restaurant area is very spacious and carries on that dimmer, cool feeling from the bar. The place feels nice but not too pretentious. My party and I started with the Caesar salad which was delicious! They shake up the dish by topping it with parmesan crisps (instead of croutons) and an egg yolk custard which were both surprising but interesting additions. For my main, I went with the surf & turf (steak, lobster and fries). VERY reasonably priced. Amazing portion size and ABSOLUTELY delicious. I visited as an extension of my birthday celebration, so they gave us a free dessert - chocolate mousse - which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. This place is 100% worth it.

I've been seeing this place on Instagram and finally checked it out! I was intrigued by their curated meals and the "roll a 7 before 7 pm" offer. The offer is only valid at the bar and the front room area. The restaurant is super cute. I loved the interior and vibe. Service was okay. Our server wasn't the nicest. He seemed to kind of rush us to order food. And I swear he was laughing at my friend and I at one point for who knows what. Taking food pictures? Being a little indecisive? We each ordered: - Born and Raised: fries, Manhattan on the Rocks, and French dip sandwich The sandwich was to die for and the fries were thin (in a good way) and easy to keep munching on. Tip: you can substitute the cocktail for any of the happy hour cocktails or house wine! I substituted for rosé because I didn't like any of the happy hour cocktails. My friend substituted for a martini. Their happy hour cocktails are only $9 and aren't advertised on the menu. Our server let us know. For $9 you can get: house wine, Manhattan on the Rocks, martini, or Old Fashioned. Sadly, I did not roll a 7 before 7 pm but I would love to come back to try any of their other curated meals.

Solid spot if you're looking for a drink and burger! My friends and I came on a Monday night for the adult happy meal and we were not disappointed. The adult happy meal is a cheeseburger with fries and an adult beverage for $27!! Pretty much a steal! We did start off with the lobster Mac and the Caesar salad and both were great! Burgers were delicious with shoe string fries! Service was good and the ambiance is dimly light so def gives off the nyc sexy vibe.

One of the best burgers I've ever had! You cannot beat the price of the adult happy meal. A fantastic burger, a generous amount of fries and a cocktail for $27. This might be the best deal in NYC. The meat was quality and seasoned well. The dipping sauce for the fries that was also on the burger was delicious. We also got the pigs in a blanket which were fantastic as well. We will be stopping in here every time we're in the city from now on! The server was pleasant and attentive and the restaurant itself had a fun vibe. Great Village eatery!

Such a great restaurant. Really enjoyed the burger and all the small touches. Definitely a fun vibe with amazing food. We will be back. Owner is very friendly. Enjoy the formal dining room as well as the fun bar in the back. You've got to get the Caesar salad.

There's a lot to like about & Son -- if you're looking for a speakeasy-style cocktail bar or a nice steakhouse, they've got both covered. First, the space itself is lovely, with a beautiful bar in the front, a spacious room with a domed skylight in the back, and even more seating in several different segments upstairs. As an actual speakeasy, & Son was designed to include lots of nooks and crannies, making for a really interesting setting. The food was great. We had the prix fixe menu, and it was excellent. My only feedback would be a lack of seasoning in a few dishes (the mashed potatoes side, the spreads that come with the bread). But the steak was prepared to perfection and definitely worth the steep price tag. The other drawback I'll note was the dessert. Ending the meal with some cheesecake seemed like a no-brainer, but we were really disappointed that a jar with loosely packed ingredients came out instead. Definitely not what we expected for our dessert, and not in a good way. Overall an excellent dining experience, and relatively cheap for fine dining standards (so, still expensive), but don't expect a home run with every single dish.

Great food and ambiance but the waitress was weird about us splitting the bill. I understand that's an annoying ask but the party size was small and my friend was visiting for work and needed to put her meal on her corporate card. We ended up having to do the math ourselves and she came back to correct our math because we forgot to include tax, which I got stuck paying the entirety of. Just an annoying experience, wasn't expecting to have to do a math problem while I was out at dinner!

While the servers were nice (they still have no clue how to serve at a better end res. in town). The food/dishes were one of the most flat one for me in recent years in NYC. I eat out every night just to put things into perspective. Esp. given their price tags... no doubt nothing worth the costs here. The Cesare Salad was humongous without much tastes. Even tho the Filet mignon was tender but no crust, not much tastes either. The bernaise sauce, bland. The shoestring fries... were just flat. Please dbl fry them, I won't even take credit for them. No, I won't recommend.

Had a delicious meal here with top notch service. The waiters were extremely professional and the drinks were textbook! The NY Strip steak was cooked to perfection and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great setting and service, shout out to the inexpensive ($6 each) desserts, we ordered one of each. Porterhouse was reasonably priced, actually cooked properly, and featured a daring but delectable rub. The striped bass, unfortunately, was super expensive ($47 I think) for an unsatisfying, almost un-splittable portion. Compared to the whole fish at Minetta Tavern, not worthwhile. Without the fish dish in play, this menu is pretty much just steak.

We've always had a good experience here. Despite never having a reservation, the staff has managed to accommodate us either at the bar or when a table has turned up unexpectedly. Friendly service, hearty dishes, and good cocktails. The combination of food and hospitality has made it a new favorite, and the upstairs bar is a treat if you get a chance to grab an after-dinner drink there.

Probably some of the best pigs in a blanket I've had. I'll be back to try their steaks. They offer deals during the week so make sure to check them out! Very cozy, dark, nice townhome setting with a table by the fire place. Make a reservation for a drink upstairs in the speakeasy.

I brought my fiancé here for his birthday. We arrived early for reservation and we were able to grab a table to the upstairs speakeasy without a reservation! We got a Spicy Paloma and The Italian Daiquiri. The drinks were good but we weren't amazed and they were slightly pricey for what they were. We loved the decor and ambiance of the speakeasy. After our round of drinks we headed back down for our dinner resy. We did the date night deal, which is a really good deal. For $78/pp you share a salad, 32oz porterhouse for 2, 2 sides, a choice of sauce and a bottle of red. We did the Caesar salad, Mac and cheese, french fries and horseradish cream sauce. We also ordered the Pigs in the Blanket. The Pigs in the Blanket and the Caesar salad were good. The steak was a good portion for two people. The mac and cheese portion was a little small for 2 people but it and the fries were also good. Overall the good not amazing. After dinner we did another round of cocktails: Old Smokey and Linger Longer and ordered a chocolate mousse for dessert. Our waitress served it with a candle which was a nice touch. The mousse was small but good. The 2nd round of drinks were great! Our server was great. She thoroughly explained the menu and she and the rest of the servers were very attentive. Overall we had a good experience.

Great service, very respectful The stairs were very good. The best part of the porterhouse is the filet by far. The sides are all good but not great. There is an aspirational component for sure with the flavor combos. The interior is gorgeous though the space in the bathroom is not meant for more than one person to walk at a time.

The Thursday night date night meal was amazing value. I could have done with a bit of a table wipe down inbetween the courses, but it was otherwise lovely

The Happy Meal is definitely a fan favorite at the restaurant, but I was not feeling a burger so opted for the Martini Dinner. Upon ordering, I had wanted to replace the Dirty Martini with the Cold Brew Cream Martini, but it was not allowed. I went ahead with the Dirty Martini and we replaced the other with an Old Fashion. We ordered two Butchers Cut which came out with a side of fries. Everything was delicious (except for the martini since I don't drink much) and this is definitely a place I would come back to for the meal deals. I believe the Martini Dinner is only available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We were seated on a balcony that overlooked the entire restaurant. They also had a cute little room with bar seating which is a place I'd like to be seated in the next time I go.

Very decent steaks here. I got the surf and turf with the NY strip. Quality of the meat was good overall. The steak was cooked a little too much, I'd asked for medium rare but it was more like a medium. Beautiful dining room area. Prices are reasonable for the type of food and the area.

Well-executed and unfussy steaks, coupled with top-notch service, earned this review for & Son. Highly recommend. The menu has a range of price points, in contrast to so many other steak restaurants. There is an affordable Adult Happy Meal served until 7pm which is a burger, fries, and a drink. More traditional steakhouse options like Porterhouse for two and NY Strip are mid range, and a prix fixe meal for the table is the menu's flagship. A solid drink list of wines and cocktails compliments the meats well. The service was impressive--a dropped steak knife was replaced in less than a minute by the eagle-eyed staff. The restaurant is located in a former townhouse, with the main dining room in a former library, providing a unique and cozy feel.

I wanted to try this place due to their daily deals that have been popping up on social media. My friend and I made a reservation for a Tuesday night, which was the overlap between the deal I wanted (Adult Happy Meal- $25 for burger, fries, and cold brew espresso martini), and the deal he wanted (Martini Steak Dinner- $39- for butchers choice steak, fries, martini). Starting w the food... my burger was fine, if a bit bland. The burger patty was well cooked, but the bun tasted stale/old. Fries were crispy and plentiful. The espresso martini which came with the meal was my favorite part- delicious and creamy like a milkshake! However, my friend's meal was def worse than mine. His steak was way overcooked (supposed to be med rare, but was more like med well/well done), and also not very flavorful. I tried some and it was definitely not a good steak. The server did bring complimentary black and white cookies with the bill, which were sugary and tasty. Non-food wise, the space is so chic, I love the old New York feeling entryway with the bar that leads into a more modern airy and open dining room. We sat on the top floor which had a beautiful view and peaked into their library-themed speakeasy (gorg!). Service is super friendly and attentive! Our server was stellar and always checking in on us. They were also able to substitute my friend's martini that came with the deal for a Manhattan which was nice. Overall I have mixed feelings about this place. The service and space is amazing, but the food was firmly subpar. I would maybe consider coming back to try another night's deal, or perhaps the way to go would be ordering off their normal menu. With that being said I think now that I've tried the happy meal deal, it'll be a while before/if I come back.

The "adult happy meal" is such a steal! $25 for a thick juicy burger, crispy shoestring fries, and a cold brew cream martini (which you can substitute for another beverage)! It wasn't the absolute best burger of my life, but at this good of a price it didn't need to be -- and say it was still really good!! We went at 6pm on a Monday (because I think this deal is only available on Mon & Tues?) and sat in the main dining area. It was pretty empty in the restaurant, but it had a nice look & feel, and our waitress was super nice. They also gave us little black & white cookies when the check came - super sweet but yummy & a nice little surprise!

This was a good meal but not great. The vibes and ambiance in this restaurant are amazing! It's also so big inside that it's a great spot for a small group. The decor is stunning and the bartenders know what they're doing. Unfortunately I felt the food was subpar. I found a hair in a piece of bread and they didn't do anything about it. The steak was way way undercooked and the mashed potatoes were pretty basic. I loved the chopped salad and our drinks were amazing but I think I'd come back just to try something else. Cute place but I think I've had better steak elsewhere for way less.

Came here for my birthday party on a Tuesday night, we were six people. Three of them were late and we were told that they couldn't sit us until we were all here, so we had to wait. It wasn't until I asked to be seated in a waiting area that they asked us if we wanted to go to the speakeasy and grab a drink (it had been 15+ minutes by then). We had a drink in there and it was very good, but VERY slow. When the rest of the party arrived we finally had a table and we ordered a filet mignon each and basically all the appetizers to share. Food was good, we enjoyed it! Meat was properly cooked and we didn't have any issues or anything. They also cut the cake for us The ambiance is super cute. Will definitely be back.

Came here to try out their mid-week steak menu. $39 for steak, fries and a martini. Good deal. I was able to substitute the martini for a glass of house wine. Beer was also an option. Steak and fries were pretty solid. Dipped in the sauce, very enjoyable. Would love to try other things on their menu next time.

I treated myself to a pre-Valentine's dinner at &Sons' Greenwich Village location and was initially disappointed they wouldn't allow a reservation for one, I got worried especially given how quickly restaurants book up. But the moment I walked in, the nerves disappeared. The warm, dimly lit space was inviting, and my waiter led me past the open bar and kitchen into a stunning high ceilinged dining room. He cleared the unnecessary second plate, poured my water, and left me to revisit the menu I had already read over the night before trying to make careful decisions in what I wanted. Perhaps a salad? PERHAPS NOT. JK I started with the steakhouse wedge because the crumbled bleu cheese and thick cut bacon bits were calling my name. It didn't disappoint. Then came my meal, a perfectly seasoned NY Strip, medium-rare, with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Some might find the steak a bit salty, but paired with the sides? Delicious. The bits of fat from the strip were so tasty and rendered down. The mashed potatoes were smooth (though I wouldn't have minded more butter), and the creamed spinach, topped with crisped parmesan, was flavorful, though not as creamy as expected. An extra dirty martini, with small-batch vodka chosen by my waiter, was my idea of a perfect pairing. While I may not have been able to reserve a table for one, this solo dining experience was worth every bite. Book for 2 if you're going alone, they didn't make a fuss. I'll be back

I really enjoyed this Steakeasy! I had previously visited the location inside Mel's Burger and liked it as well, but this was by far my favorite. We started with the warm bread and savory jams. The egg yolk custard was definitely new for me but it actually paired really well with the garlic confit and the bacon jam. The classic Caesar was delicious and I could not get enough of the parmesan crisps. For our entrees we tried the Filet Mignon with Mac & Cheese Carbonara, Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes, and Creamed Spinach. I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of the Mac due to the egg yolk but I loved everything else. The steak was nicely cooked and the chimichurri sauce was a great addition. The Blueberry cheesecake and Chocolate mousse were the perfect ending to our meal. Ambiance was beautiful, service was impeccable. Not much to complaint about!

Try the steak dinner for two! They literally just keep bringing food to your table in HEALTHY portions. Steak, lobster Mac n cheese and the blueberry dessert was delicious! Shout out to Priscilla for amazing customer service! It was pretty packed and not much space but well worth the dinner reservations.

A friend and I decided we had to stop in during a weeknight after reading about their fun and affordable pre fixe options. We made a reservation for a Tuesday night at 6:45pm and were seated as soon as we were both there. We were led up to the speakeasy/bar area. I went with the Adult Happy Meal and my friend did the martini dinner. We also decided to share pigs in a blanket to start. Amazing deal aside, the food was very good. My burger was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The "cold brew cream" martini was delicious and hit the spot. Ambiance was great. The whole restaurant space is warm and inviting. We were lucky to be seated up in the speakeasy area, which is cozy and intimate. They also have a special cocktail menu (I ordered a very well made Boss Tweed), so If you can get seated upstairs I would! Service was great too. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed or neglected the entire meal. Overall, I highly recommend you stop in for either a curated meal or to order off the menu. Great food, service and ambiance made for a fun evening!

Went here for brunch and had a great experience. I was surprised by how empty the establishment was given the food and service were great. The Cesar salad was tasty and the steak perfectly seasoned and cooked. It has a nice steakhouse traditional feel but not stuffy. I didn't have the bottomless but they offer a good deal.

Went on a Tuesday and had the adults happy meal. For $25, you can't beat it. Opted to switch the cold brew martini for a dirty martini. Service was quick and we got all of her food and drinks relatively fast. To know how to reservation and did a walk in but did not have any problem getting a seat (high top). I would come again.

I love the ambiance of & Sons and we were able to sit at the bar while we waited for our table, although we didnt get our drink till two seconds before we were about to be sat but the bartender was working alone and was extremely busy. The food portions were insane, that salad was literally falling off the plate. I love that they have prefixed specials for different days and prices really well for what they give you. My only issue and why I didnt give it 5 stars was that when our main was served (we did the prefix steak dinner that came with three sides) all of the food was pretty cold. The mac and cheese carbonara had a raw egg in it and the pasta was warm enough to cook it through but it was definitely not hot, neither was the mash or the spinach. And this might just be a preference to me personally but I like piping hot food lol so if you dont mind that then 5 stars all around.

Great Ambiance and the food was good and nice portions. We loved out waitress. I believe her name was Patricia or Priscilla. We def go again just on her service alone. Would love if they would play jazz music to go with the vibe.

My three friends and I agreed, the best burger we've ever had! A few friends and I came during a weekday for happy hour and we all partook in the "Adult Happy Meal" - a burger, fries and their version of an espresso martini with cold brew and whiskey. This was only available at the bar, but we were able to be seated as soon as we walked in. All 3 were delicious! The most delicious was the burger. The sesame bun was crispy and so soft with such a tender patty, they molded together so well and completely. The fries were a little thicker than shoe string and. Their version of the espresso martini with whiskey was a really nice surprise. The drink was super smooth. Our server was also the best! She was super personable and authentically nice. The vibe here is a cool first date or an intimate place to go with a few friends. They host quite a few jazz events here like jazz brunch. Will definitely come back during the day for brunch or lunch because they do have skylight in the dining room. The bathroom was also all white marble and clean which was nice and bright.

Food was delicious, my filet was like butter. Service and ambiance were great. The only negative, they need to clarify that restaurant hours and speakeasy hours are not the same. We purposely went here with the plan of having some cocktails at the speakeasy but it is closed on Sundays.

Our intention was to go upstairs to the Father's Study but it was closed for an event. So we just sat at the bar to grab some drinks. The drinks were great but the service and staff weren't the friendliest... Starts with walking in and just greeted by a stare. The bartenders don't really greet you either. I'm not entirely sure why we were treated this way since they treated other guests with a nice greeting and friendly smiles. So if you are looking for a good drink you should come here, but if you were here for service, this is not the place. The place is cute for a dinner or a date. But I've got to say it was one of the most uncomfortable places I've been to in an awhile... As I'm writing this review my friend that I came with said it gives off "white privilege" and they acted as if they've never seen two Chinese guests show up before...lol

I've been to &son twice, once for dinner and once for brunch, and I have really enjoyed both meals. The interior is beautiful and at night they have live jazz playing, which added a lot to the overall ambiance and vibe. This is definitely a fun place for a date or a business meal. At dinner, my friend and I opted to do a la carte instead of the prix fixe meal and shared a salad, side, and steak. The classic Caesar was a delicious pair to the steak, and the sirloin we got was very tender. I enjoyed the mac n cheese, but my friend thought it was a little bland and nothing to write home about. The dirty martinis were the star of the show and paired great with our meal - we ended up each ordering three because they were so good. I'd love to come back and try their dinner prix fixe deal next time. The brunch prix fixe was a great deal and we left full and happy. I actually really enjoyed the warm cinnamon squares they offered to start, even though I'm not a sweets person, and the egg white souffle was super unique. The breakfast burger was cooked well, though there was a little too much egg yolk jam for my liking. It's a great brunch deal for all the food you get, so I definitely recommend trying this place out for brunch or for dinner!

We had a wonderful time visiting a speakeasy recently. My review is only for the cocktail experience, as we went there after dinner. We made a reservation on Resy and were escorted by the host of the steakhouse to a table upstairs. The speakeasy concept was spot on, with a very cool menu. We chose to sit in the library section, next to the bar, for a more intimate experience. We arrived just before the service was winding down, but the bartender/server was very attentive.

This was my first visit....I was offered a delicious old fashioned cocktail...i liked the vibe and the lower level location of the restaurant...Priscilla was my server she was awesome! She gave Great recommendations ....and based on the recommendation I chose the porterhouse....perfect temperature on the steak...I chose onion soup and blue cheese salad wedge...both were excellent compliments to my steak. Looking forward to returning

Came in for their 'adult meal deal' but found that the burger was lacking salt and the cocktail was jut ok. It was their version of an espresso martini but was not to my taste. My friend ordered the steak deal and also felt a lack of seasoning. The main draw here is definitely the overall vibe and atmosphere. It's very cute and charming with the skylight and would be great for a semi-affordable date night as they offer a few different pricing specials. My favorite part of the meal was the blueberry cheesecake in the jar. This was very good. Service was standard. I didn't leave thinking that I must come back.

I really enjoyed the ambiance. It made for a great first Father's Day dinner. The salads were delicious and large. Perfect for sharing. I thought my steak was cooked a little more than I liked. I asked for medium rare and it felt more medium. But overall I really enjoyed and would come back.

What a smart on point restaurant. From the moment we walked in everyone couldn't have been nicer. Cozy warm and inviting, and not blasted out by music. Able to converse and enjoy the evening . Started w a Caesar salad which was ginormous and delicious ! Decided to not go big being it was late, ordered the burger ! Out outstanding ! Perfectly cooked juicy fresh simple asking to the palate. Waiter was so nice and accommodating! A definite return .

Dined in the upstairs portion of the restaurant for a work dinner with some colleagues. The ambience throughout the restaurant is fantastic. Timeless, classy decor and lighting you'd expect from a bar and steakhouse. Upstairs area had plenty of room and an additional bar for some of the craft cocktails they take a lot of pride in. I had 2 dirty martinis and was a big fan, though it took a lot for me to not go with the old fashioned as it seemed like a place that would really know their stuff. NY strip steak frites was cooked perfectly and was incredibly flavorful along with our sides for the table and an excellent blueberry cheesecake dessert. Service was attentive but not overbearing and they got every order correct to a tee for a party of 5. Will definitely be returning for date nights and special occasions. Cheers!

Beautiful ambiance and great place to have a more casual steak dinner with friends. Service was attentive by multiple waiters (it doesn't seem like one waiter is assigned to a table). Food wise, their multi course all inclusive steak dinner is a good deal but don't expect the best steak you've ever eaten like from a fancy steakhouse. We ordered the sirloin and the classic NY strip with a side of horseradish sauce which added great flavor. The steaks had some fatty parts that were hard to chew but otherwise had good flavor from the bone marrow butter. The starters, sides and dessert were also good but nothing super special. I loved the Caesar salad though and how it came with big parmesan crisps.

First off, I love the restaurant ambiance - you first walk into a bar stocked with local New York spirits, love the open space allowing a nice breeze with the windows opened especially during late spring/early summer, continue walking through the bar, is the beautiful dining room. High ceilings, big windows with beautiful natural light, it feels like walking into a cool museum! Delicious cocktail options, especially love the different takes on the old fashion. Now for food, the burger, the Cesar salad and the creamed spinach are my favorites!!! Burger was thick and juicy. Love the cheese crisp and egg yolk custard on the salad. I love a creamed spinach that has more greens than cream so I feel slightly healthy ;) but honestly is one of the best creamed spinach I've had. Mac and cheese carbonara - I wish it wasn't called Mac and cheese or a carbonara because I personally don't think it was either one or fusion but nevertheless still a tasty cheese sauced pasta. I wish there are more steak options for a steakhouse but I also do appreciate the simpler menu. Love the service, everyone's kind and fun which makes for a great evening :) Looking forward to coming back to try one of their daily specials! Don't forget to make a resso for their upstairs speakeasy too after dinner, super snug and intimate!

I wanted to bring my wife after her hair cut to a nice Saturday brunch. What better place than & Son with a live Jazz band and creative cocktails? We're seated with a nice view of the band playing on the second floor. Our waiter was very helpful in our cocktail selections. While we're sipping on bubbly, we ordered the Churro squares to start. Wowza! Krazy-good and very addictive, this was a nice start to our meal. I ordered for my main dish steak & eggs. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly. Tender, juicy and a large portion, this was the right amount for brunch. Very fun spot, I highly recommend & Son for lunch, Brunch and Dinner.

Cute spot! The ambiance is great. Good martinis, plus a cute bar upstairs. Great for a girls night.

I hardly ever write 3 stars. I would give this a 2 stars if it wasn't for the service and the ambiance. I really enjoyed the setting and my server was nice. Food / drink was mediocre at best. We went for the midweek martini dinner. The gin quality must have been really poor because it felt like ingesting rubbing alcohol. The steak was also WAY overcooked for medium rare. However, we were getting their midweek deal - like $40 for steak + fries & a martini so we weren't gonna send it back. However, I would have preferred less steak but a more masterful preparation. Medium Rare rather than well-done especially for a "steakeasy"
