The food is delicious! The beef and chicken kabobs are very moist and rich. There is a large variety of choices and the presentation is very enticing. I took two stars off service because on the last two occasions I was here, it took a full ~ 20 - 30 minutes to refill the buffet with popular items like the beef and chicken kabobs. A lot of people were left waiting and you could see the owner going over to the cooks and having tense conversations about the delay. The cooks need to be prepared for the busy hours. I took two stars away from atmosphere due to the owners/management not taking responsibility to admonish parents who literally let their children RUN around the restaurant. It is disturbing and annoying to other diners. Management needs to step in and make parents responsible for keeping their children in chairs at the table and not being able to leave the table unaccompanied.

We were at the Andalous Mediterranean Buffet during Ramadan, and it was unbelievably busy. There were not enough tables inside to accommodate all the people that were coming in. And no one was turned away or informed that it might be 30min+ wait until there is an inside seating option available. Cashier at the front would collect the payments and then people are trapped, at least that what that felt like. We ended up seating on the patio, and that would have been a wonderful idea, however, it was cold and windy, so experience was not the best to say the least. The décor of the place is dated and the rusty and dirty air vents on the ceiling are the same as they were a year ago. The whole in the ceiling at the front is also still there… We would have left if it weren’t for a friend who we were meeting us there and who purchased our tickets in advance. One positive thing about the place being crowded – all the food was fresh and turned over very frequently. And the food was really good. There are plenty of vegetable options, numerous fresh salads and hot cooked stews, etc. Chicken was good and so was fish. Dessert bar was full of fresh melons and jello. However, a young girl licked and touched almost all watermelon pieces, it was truly disgusting. So that was it for us. We will not be coming back, that’s for sure. It is sad though, because they can really cook!

Customer service was ok. Food was not good. Rice had carrots. The falafel was ok. Pita bread was good. Salad was ok.

My visit at the end of Ramadan for the final Iftar with my family was deeply disappointing and raised several serious concerns. The first issue was the significant price increase—from $19.99 to $25.99 per adult—even though my previous visit was just four months ago. Such a sharp rise, without any noticeable improvement in quality or service, was difficult to justify. Additionally, the pricing policy charges adult rates starting at age 9 which makes dining there increasingly expensive for families. The second—and most alarming—issue was the cleanliness of the plates and cutlery. The hygiene level was far below acceptable standards. I had to search extensively just to find a single plate I could use, and even then, I barely found one. This was particularly disappointing on such a meaningful evening. Had it not been the last day of Ramadan, and had my children not been fasting, I would have left immediately. I was unable to take photos due to how crowded it was, but the situation was clearly unacceptable. The condition of the plates was unhygienic and unappetizing, and raises concerns about possible health risks. I even had to ask my children not to eat the bottom layer of their food to avoid contact with the surface of the plate. The third concern was the quality of the food itself. Several chicken dishes had an off-putting smell and an unpleasant taste, making them inedible. I always stress the importance of not wasting food, yet I found myself encouraging my children to avoid eating certain portions for their own safety. Overall, the experience was far below expectations and did not reflect the value the restaurant claims to offer. I do not intend to return, as I see no reason to risk wasting more time, money, or peace of mind. And if what’s visible to customers is this poor, it raises serious concerns about the standards in the kitchen.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Alandalous Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The assortment of salads was impressive, offering fresh and flavorful options for everyone. I also appreciated that soft drinks, coffee, and tea were included in the price, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The open buffet setup was convenient and allowed me to try a little bit of everything. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great Halal food and excellent value!

Overall this was a great buffet to eat at. The food was very fresh and every bite was a full burst of flavors. The culture and atmosphere of this restaurant was very authentic. The service was 5 stars as well. If you bring something to their attention they are very quick and attentive to make sure things are right. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This buffet is an absolute treat for anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine! There’s an impressive variety of dishes—from fresh salads and grilled meats to flavorful rice and veggie options. The dessert section is just as amazing, featuring baklava, jelly, and other traditional sweets that are hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the building itself is beautifully designed—spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, which adds to the overall dining experience. Whether you’re going with family or a group of friends, it’s a great place to enjoy a flavorful, relaxed meal. Highly recommend for both the food and the ambiance!

Yelp
Went specifically to the Central Expressway location site and it showed a menu as options for ordering. When I arrived, was told that was only at their other location and I had to purchase a buffet dinner for $20. The restaurant itself was freezing cold, which led to our food getting cold immediately upon sitting down at our table. Many of the meat options were not fresh, including the chicken kebab, what they called beef kebab (really kafta), and the gyro meat was extremely thick and dry. The healthy salad options were limited, with lots of couscous, rice, pasta, and bread. The salads did not have many vegetables and were mostly lettuce. After 3 cups of hot tea, a plate and a half of cold food, and forced conversation, we ran out into the Texas heat to defrost. I was so cold. I drove home without any AC on in my car and was more than comfortable. False advertising on the website, as I had planned to get a few small items off the menu. They need to fix this and be upfront.

Yelp
We ordered online for perhaps the fourth time. Until now, the food was quite good. However, we couldn't eat the food this time. The chicken kabob was too dry and the pita was hard as a rock. Hummus and dolmas were OK. Plus, the portion size was tiny. Since there are so many Middle eastern places in Richardson, we'll choose someplace else next time.

Yelp
This Mediterranean buffet had a huge food selection, but the best part for me was the pita bread. Fresh, warm, soft and perfect for dipping. The garlic sauce was delicious, wealthy and flavorful. I appreciate their precise attention to cleanliness and considerate provision of gloves, preventing guests from handling serving utensils with bare hands. One small, mindful gesture is important. It makes a large difference. The food, service and buffet make it worth a visit.

Yelp
Arrived at 2:15 PM on a Wednesday for the buffet. The interior was inviting and the cool room was refreshing compared to the 100 degree outside. Service was good, with fast plate pickup. However, all of the meats and chicken were very dry, and the veggie dishes were mushy. Bread was missing from the buffet for the first 15 minutes. The salads I tried were the highlight - fresh and tasty. Overall, great service and ambiance, but the buffet quality could be improved.

Ruby P.

Yelp
This is a nice restaurant with fresh food, a clean environment, and beautiful interior decor. They offer most of the classic Mediterranean dishes, like hummus and kebabs, which were delicious and well-prepared. However, I felt the meat selection was a bit limited--they mainly had chicken, beef, and gyro. I was hoping to see more variety, such as lamb, salmon, or other seafood, which I typically expect at a Mediterranean restaurant. I'd consider revisiting for the lovely atmosphere, but probably not for the food alone.

Yelp
We had dinner at Andalous Mediterranean Buffet and really enjoyed it. The grilled chicken was tender and full of flavor the pasta salad was fresh and well-seasoned and the Greek salad had the perfect mix of crisp veggies and tangy dressing. There were so many great options to choose from and everything tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and kept the buffet clean and well stocked. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming making it a great spot for a casual meal. We will definitely be back.

Marc S.

Yelp
This place has gone way down hill, most the food was not hot or it was not available- gyro meat was tough, falafel was hard as a rock, beef and chicken kabobs were never out. Roasted cauliflower was old and rubber.... Won't be back, charged me more than the website showed

Yelp
This place is amazing. I love Mediterranean cuisine and sometimes the hardest part is deciding what to get. Andalous allows you to sample all the major recipes from an awesome and well-maintained buffet. The pita bread is baked onsite and always steaming fresh, the gyro meat is delicious, the multiple hummus flavors will fill your plate before you know what hit you, and the atmosphere is anything but basic. If it wasn't for BBQ, I might say this is my favorite restaurant in Dallas.

Yelp
We went here to have weekday lunch. Busy place with lots of locals. Their food is fresh and delicious. You need to pay first before you eat. Service Staff are kind and helpful. Lots of parking space. Clean and well decorated and lighted dining place.

Yelp
Great Mediterranean Buffet, prefer this one over Dimasi's. Better and more spacious dining area, very fresh foods. They have worthier salad options and well seasoned hot foods. Clean establishment!

Candace C.

Yelp
I've been coming here for about a month following my doctor appointments. I'm on a very strict diet and this place has so many vegetarian and even vegan options. The best part is they're all delicious. It's also a great place to bring your non-vegetarian friends too as meat options are plentiful and from what I hear delicious. It's also very clean with nice staff. Highly recommend.

Mike B.

Yelp
Decided to come here because it was close to the hotel. We were greeted when we came in and paid for the buffet. there were a lot of options. The food was good. There were only a handful of people when we came in about 7 pm. The tables were clean and the atmosphere was nice. I'd recommend Andalous.

Yelp
Same great taste as their last Colinas location. I used to work in Irving and would stop by once a week! I love their spicy hummus! Their cookies and baklava selections are also great! I usually get a meat and sides during lunch for work.

Yelp
I loved the food and the variety here especially the grilled chicken and the hummus was a must try , the pita bread was on point and I loved the desserts too. The vibe is medieval and ambiance is amazing . For food reviews follow @as.clicks on instagram

Yelp
The dinner buffet was awesome. The best I have been to in this area. The food was fresh and delicious and had a wide variety of salads and meats and sides. The pita bread was warm and fresh out the oven.the restaurant was very clean and the service was great. I highly recommend coming here for dinner.

Yelp
I love Mediterranean food and this place I keep coming back because of their babaganoush dip ( I might have butcher the name) it's eggplant dip. It is the best and if you love hummus so much to choose from . Lamb and beef here is so tender .

William H.

Yelp
We had dinner at Andalous Mediterranean Buffet and had an awesome service by Molly Barbian. She is extremely very nice and knowledgeable about her work. I have been a couple of times here and she make it a very enjoyable experience to come have a nice dinner. There is a nice selection on your buffet.

Yelp
Lots of choices!! If you like to try different foods, this is the place for you. Lots to try. Very good food. Good flavors. Great variety. The restaurant is just a big open space with tables. Lot of tables. Service was good. They kept the food hot and made sure everything was fresh. Good choice.

Chris K.

Yelp
I went at 4 on a thursday. Picked up an order to go. I received very little food for 2 orders, about $18 a person for salad and a few pieces of chicken. Around $10 a pound. The humas had been sitting out and was not safe to eat. The flavors were good, the selection was ok, but not really something I would recommend. Might be better if not to go and at a time when food is fresher. Lady at front was rude and seemed to be bothered that she had to get off her phone to help me.

Yelp
Outstanding!! The food is always delicioushigh quality and fresh. Definitely one of the best buffets I've ever been to.

Yelp
Food is always very fresh and lots of delicious selections! They now have "All U Can Eat", buffet There is also, a child's menu that is great! They do have a private dining room for large meetings and family gatherings available. Service is nice!

Jere W.

Yelp
Wow! Great recipes! Tastes as nice and flavorful as in the finest restaurants in Beirut and Bahrain! I'm coming back!

Yelp
Super easy to spot off the highway with convenient parking! I've had their catered food from the Arlington location before, so I knew it was going to be a great dinner! I went with a couple of my friends on a weekend evening, and I will say the selection of items is great! There are 4 different kinds of hummus, different salads, and a variety of meats and side dishes! My most favorite item is the garlic sauce!!! It goes well with everything, especially the chicken kabobs! I also enjoyed the tabbouleh, coriander potatoes, zucchini/mushrooms, and of course pita! Service was good, the staff cleared our table at a decent pace. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for good quality buffet in a casual environment! :)

Yelp
My husband and I came here around 6:30 pm on a Monday night. There were only 4 cars in the huge parking lot, so I was worried this place was not going to be good. I was totally wrong. Andalous is a great and extensive buffet with lots of veggie options. I found everything to be quite fresh and with exciting flavors. The pita bread was exceptional. I did not find a few of the meat offerings to my liking since most of the chicken was white meat and a few items were a little dry or overcooked. My husband was very pleased that the baklava had walnuts instead of pistachios. This is now my favorite buffet in Dallas. Oh, and the place got a lot busier at sunset (Ramadan).
google avatar

Kristen R.

Yelp
We did take out recently and it was so good. You get a lot of food for the price. Everything was fresh. We will be back!

Yelp
We came here for Iftar in Ramadan after fasting all day. The food was not fresh at all. The meat was not flavorful and super dry as well as cold. Very disappointing. Staff didn't seem to care when we offered them feedback.

Yelp
Definitely worth a try. So many options to select from. All the salads taste great. Bread is served fresh.

Yelp
So I have a couple go to Greek/Mediterranean spots. I decided to try something new tonight and couldn't be happier I did! I ordered delivery as I didn't want to get out, and the food was awesome!! Beef shawarma was great and the sides were tasty too! Pitas were both soft and crunchy, only $.55 to add??? Great dinner and my usual go tos might be seeking less of me know. Thanks for an amazing dinner!!
google avatar

Shibashis G.

Yelp
Great food and ambience with great choices of salads, kabobs, veggies, dips and curries. The best items for me were the grilled items specifically the beef kababs and the gyros. The hot off the pita bread was also good.

Yelp
If your rolling down MacArthur towards 114 in Irving you can drive into some amazing Mediterranean food at Andalous!! It is located in a strip mall right by a Juice spot and Indian chain store. The moment you open the door, the smell of fresh baked pita hits you. Start off with a tray, and you have the option of a couple of sides and a meat, complete with 2 pita bread. You can see the bread baking in an open oven!! The salad bar is amazing!! Greek salad, pasta salad, fattoush, 2 types of hummus, baba ghanoush, they have it all!! The side are just a fresh; potatoes, cauliflower, rice, veggies, they have it all. You could come in and have a purely veggies meal and have up to probably 40 different combinations. For the meats, they have baked chicken, grilled chicken, kabobs and my choice today; lamb shank!! It costs extra but it is worth it. My meal was fantastic. It wasn't cheap, but only because I had an extra side and lamb is "double meat". Fresh food for about $15, you can't beat it.

Yelp
This location is in Richardson near Campbell & 75. The food was excellent with the exception of the baklava & the gyro meat. The nuts in the baklava were rancid, so it was inedible. Baklava is one of the reasons I come to this restaurant, so it kind of ruined the experience for me. The gyro meat was very dry. I will not be coming back to this location. Service, the buffet was well stocked. The tables around us stayed dirty for quite sometime after the patrons had left. Ambiance- I liked the music they played, lighting was good.

Yelp
great selection of dishes for a buffet We headed here to try all of Andalous' dishes after visiting their cafeteria style location in Irving. The restaurant is spacious enough for large groups and is a buffet. We went around 3 on a Saturday afternoon, and for two people with tax, it was $47.67. To start off with, there's a large selection of dishes to choose from. From the sides, I had the hummus, and it was decent and the correct consistency and flavor. I also had the tzatziki sauce, which I felt was a little on the watery side. Coming along to the breads and rice, the pita bread is so soft, and one of the stars of this buffet. It made a great pocket for a gyro sandwich. I also tried the vermicelli rice, which was fluffy, and well seasoned. Moving along to the main dishes and meats, there's a lot to choose from. First off, you HAVE to get the red snapper. I was hesitant because I don't like fish outside, but I LOVED the red snapper. It has a slight tart aftertaste, and it's so soft. It went so well with the rice. I also really liked their gyro meat, koftas, fried fish, and chicken nuggets. The rest of the meats were good, too. I liked that they had 2-3 selection of desserts unlike other Arab buffets. Out of the desserts, I liked their rice pudding and soft serve ice cream the best. Brownie was okay, but it had a more cake-like texture. Baklava was also okay.

Yelp
Food was good, american lady in front was really sweet she deserves a raise. Great atmosphere as well would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat

Yelp
Interesting experience. All the salads and hummus were good. However, the lame shank I paid extra for was disgusting. It looked greenish, and had big globs of fat. I know lamb shanks are fatty, but this was just ick. Before I could get too upset about that though, I tried all the other main courses and rice they had, and they were amazing! I easily cleaned every last bite off my plate. So thanks for that! Desserts were good too.

Yelp
This place was fantastic. All the options were fresh, lunch crowd was busy and atmosphere was great. We loved nearly everything we tried. Not a buffet kinda guy but will definitely be back.

Yelp
Worth the money for sure! Decent selection. Ice cream machine was broken. Rice pudding tasted store bought but still appreciated. Buffet price includes soft drinks and dessert.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Molly took care of us. definitely going back with my family!

Yelp
Just got to town and we stopped at Andalous for an early dinner. Barb had been to their other location and was told to try this one. It was fantastic- so many great choices - wish I could have eaten more!

Yelp
We saw this place was right next to our hotel, the Wingate and since I never been to a Mediterranean buffet before in my life decided to check this out. The food is quite filling as well as I unfortunately could not eat a whole lot of food unfortunately. Also, California no buffets since covid. The buffet price was $18.95 per person for dinner and this includes drink. The selection was awesome and enjoyed the Tahini sauce and some of the hummus. I decided to try everything and sample for the meat. Here is what I loved 1. Lamb 2. Falafel 3. Gyro meat 4. Chicken thigh 5. fried wish 6. Rice pudding Here is what I did not like 1. skewer meat - ground beef 2. Curry chicken, it was dry I wish though they would help clean up the dishes more from the tables more. The food is filling as well as I only had 2 and a half dishes. But food is fresh and could definitely come here again.

Manal E.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience with Andalousa Restaurant in general and , an incredible experience with Molly Thank You so much Molly for making my visit memorable
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty nice spot for all of your Mediterranean food needs! Has all the goodies from gyro, hummus, lentil soup, pita bread. Etc. All the food was real good. Highly recommend the fried fish and garlic sauce! Lamb shank is extra, but worth
google avatar

Amana C.

Yelp
The term buffet here is misleading. You can pick and choose what you want but it's definitely not unlimited. And it's more of a this or that situation. Nonetheless the salad and meats were all delicious. Would have loved to grab more but you couldn't.
google avatar

Tina S.

Yelp
I went in for a lunch, and noticed that the Tabouli did not look like it had any olive oil, and the hostess at the front admitted that they use Canola (which is a very toxic pesticide) and NO olive oil in the entire restaurant. YUK. Who in the world has a Mediterranean restaurant with NO OLIVE OIL? I went ahead and got only a side of rice, which did contain the cheap Canola. Please save your money. Do not eat at an establishment which chooses to use CHEAP CANOLA in liu of authentic olive oil.

Kate R.

Yelp
I've been coming here for a while now! I love the food it's amazing! They have so many options, there's honestly something for every palate. My friends and I each are very picky in different ways and are all unanimously happy eating here. The service is superb, Molly especially is a ray of sunshine and so sweet seeing her there to welcome you in and help with your order is like seeing your best friend after a long day of work! The place is very clean as well! Every time I've stopped by it's always been very clean. It's a great place to meet up with friends, family or a date.

Vivian H.

Yelp
My friend had recommended Andalous so this was first visit. It is easy to get into the large customer parking. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly employee and a neat orderly buffet bar. The food was very good and flavourful. I got my lunch to go. Later I received a phone call from Molly, an employee, stating my debit card had been found in the parking lot. Molly took the time to find a way to contact me and notify me. I appreciate her excellent customer service. Thanks, Molly.

Yelp
Went on Labor Day for lunch. Inside is spacious with high ceilings and lots of windows so tables don't feel crowded. Huge number of selections, everything was fresh and hot. Self serve drinks and a small but nice choice of desserts. Water glasses were promptly refilled and used plates cleared. Our group left stuffed and happy
