Andaz Seoul Gangnam, by Hyatt

It was my first time visiting Seoul and I’ve heard so many great things about Andaz Gangnam. I redeemed 80,000 points for 4 nights to secure a room with 2 twins for my friend and I. Day of arrival, we were automatically upgraded to the 2 twin premium due to my GOH award. Cash price was $2351. I loved the extra space. I wish the toilet wasn’t so far away from the bathroom, and I also wish we had 2 sinks. The handheld shower didn’t stay upright, so it was annoying. We didn’t make a fuss bc we didn’t feel like switching rooms. ||Concierge was SUPER helpful, from making chiro appts, to nail appts, to dinner recommendations. Shoutout to Yeongmin, Calvin and Mirim. Globalist breakfast was very nice every morning; I sure miss the fresh juices! I also spoiled myself with a 40min back massage on our last day, it was very relaxing. Location was very convenient, right above the metro.

Amazing Breakfast and staff. Pool and Sauna areas were top notch. Unfortunately rooms / hard product are already starting to notice deterioration due to material choice. But otherwise, a great stay and amazing location to tons of great restaurants and subway station.

If you want to stay in an international standard 5* in the Apgujeongdong area this is really the only choice. The basement connects into Seoul Metro and also Hyundai Department Store which is very helpful. The underground also has some excellent restaurant choices which are not run by the hotel but is very convenient. Staff are very helpful and there was mixed snacks complimentary in the room which was a very nice touch. Jogakbo the Korean restaurant is also superb and well priced. Great stay.

Andaz Seoul Gangnam was the perfect place for our family of 4. We were booked in the Andaz Suite on the 14th floor. They had a rollaway bed already set up. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and it was so nice to have an additional powder room. The free breakfast for Globalist was huge and delicious, offering both western and Korean cuisine. The hotel also has a great indoor pool that the kids enjoyed. The location could not be beat as the subway is below the hotel and there is also an underground walkway to the Hyundai Department stores which has a great food court. Concierge and housekeeping were so friendly and helpful as well. Will plan on returning to this hotel the next time we go to Seoul.

The location is just fantastic. Right by Abgujung-dong #3 train station and Hyundai Department store. My parents live so closeby, my kids liked the indooor pool and snacks provided in the room for free. Honestly price is little high for the size, but all the quality is really on top of everything. There are restaurants on underground floor as well. Chinese restaurant was a top notch! If you are looking for the location and quality hotel, this is it.

While staying at the Andaz Hotel, I happened to stop by a wine bar nearby called vino615, and it turned out to be a real gem. The staff's thoughtful recommendations made it easy to explore new wines, and the overall selection was truly impressive. If you're in the area and looking for a relaxed yet refined spot to enjoy a glass, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

For those looking for a trendy hotel well located in the fashion/luxury district of Seoul. 5 stars hotel quality and one of the very few option of Korean restaurant in Hotel. Located next to subway station, very easy to move around the city

Upscale modern design hotel that's situated close to the subway. Rooms are well appointed and great views of the city. Hidden gem is the pool and free sauna/hot tub (separate from the paid Jjimjilbang). Spent 4 hours here on Monday morning and very few hotel guests using. Pricing is quite high although Hyatt points can be a great deal.
