Our first trip to Klein's Camp was in 2023 and it was soooo amazing, we had to come back! We were honestly a little afraid that our second trip may not live up to the fantastic experience expectations that we had during our first trip. Well, we didn't need to worry at all, as our second time was just as amazing, if not more, than our first!!|We were so fortunate, once again, to have the dream team duo of Seleu (Guide) and Laboo (Tracker) on our game drives. What made our stay even better was the outstanding service by James (Butler) and Masai Warrior guard (Sparro) escorting my wife and I to and from our unit after dark. We also were lucky to have met and always being greeted (each morning and after returning from the game drives) by the camp manager, Nina, with a smile and always positive demeanor.|I can't describe how friendly and accommodating everyone was, making our stay even more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. They truly made us feel like family and further strengthened our life long friendships and love of this amazing camp.|The game drives were definitely our favorite, as we love seeing and being close to the amazing African animals in the Serengeti. During our first trip in 2023, we were lucky enough to see the Big 5 during the 4 days of our stay there, including one of the closest encounters to a black rhino that any of the guides at this camp have ever experienced. Although we did not see the black rhino on this most recent trip, we had experiences just as amazing, with close up encounters with leopards, cheetahs, elephants, African buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, water buck, gazelles, ostriches, and many encounters with lions, with experiences of seeing them marking, mating and courting their young cubs. It was simply a magical experience, not to mention the amazing driving skills by Seleu on some challenging on and offroad ventures during our drives.|I could go on and on about this amazing camp from the drives, to the people, the accommodations, and the super delicious food, whether in their dining room or on game drives in the bush. We have now stayed at 5 different &Beyond camps and Klein's Camp will always be our favorite and have a special place in our heart, with many, many priceless memories. |We will definitely be back for a 3rd visit and although it was 2 years since our last stay, I hope we won't need to wait that long for our next!!

Absolutely beautiful time of year to be there and not very crowded in that part of the country. Yes, the grass is long and the migration is further south at that time, but some of our most spectacular animal sightings in Tanzania were there (including a leopard climbing up a tree to finish eating its prey, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, the list goes on). Our guide, Seleu, was fantastic and we learned so much from him. There didn't seem to be a question he couldn't answer! He also took us to a Maasai home and a nearby school, which was very eye-opening and educational. A highlight of our trip.|The camp is exceptional. Luxurious accommodations with first-class hospitality and delicious (and plentiful!) cuisine. The "sundowners" were an unexpected treat - we did not expect our jeep to be turned into a bar where we could enjoy a gin and tonic while watching the sun set over the Serengeti. Unforgettable!

Stunning location with beautiful architecture using local materials |Great location for exploring Serengeti National park. Top notch chef able to cater to vegan diet Took day trip to Mara river to wildebeest migration, hippos and Nile crocodiles. Were treated to traditional Masai song and dance during dinner one evening. On our last night, my husband and I were surprised with a private dinner at the pool area. Lovely camp and staff. First class safari experience

The most amazing experience ever. Literally a once in a lifetime experience. Every aspect of our visit was managed perfectly, even allowing for runway closures etc. Staff were amazing, facilities amazing and just a truly amazing experience. Oh, and I forgot the animals ! Bat Eared foxes, Jackals, Hyena, Birds, a Chameleon , Baboon, Zebra and many many more.|We also got to visit a Maasi family and village which was a very humbling experience||Fabulous experience

We spent 2 nights here at the end of a 10 day safari trip and loved it. It’s quite remote in the hills at 1800 m altitude (no mosquitoes in the dry season), so ideal to relax a bit. The unique feature of this camp is that it is in a private concession, so you can do night drives, go off road closer to animals if needed and you are practically alone. After experiencing the craziness in some spots in the Serengeti, this felt wonderful. We saw lions very close multiple times. |Staff and rangers are super friendly and knowledgeable. We liked the style/design, but that is personal and you can check out the pictures by yourself.|I noticed a few negative reviews. It seems some people come here with wrong expectations. First, this is not the place to go if you want to see the great migration. It’s many hours away in the Serengeti park, so book a lodge there on your trip. It is also a luxury camp, but not a 5 star hotel. You don’t have the food choice and room luxury you would find there. This place is amazing for a different, private wildlife experience and a lot of calm.

We have been at multiple lodges and safari camp, but Klein’s is right there at the top. Secluded on a private concession yet with all the big cats (we saw a leopard and cheetah fighting over a prey), elephants, giraffes and other key animals means you basically have the park for yourself. Yet it is only a 2 hour drive to the Mara river (yes, over a game drive road, so basically a game drive in itself) to see the migration. The food was excellent but what makes this lodge is its fun, caring and personable staff. A special shout out to our guide Massay and our spotter Tipapa who went above and beyond to give us an unforgetttable experience, and our butler Rueben whose personal care in a fun manner made all the difference. We didn’t want to leave!

Firstly, all of the staff and game driver, Karipoi, were amazing. I can’t say enough amazing things about the people who work at this lodge. The sunset bonfire and Maasai performance were spectacular. Eliza is a spectacular massage therapist. ||Location is on private land so outside of the Seregenti park. This allows for a night game drive which isn’t allowed in the Seregenti. Unfortunately, this night game drive is a trade off for the wildebeest migration as it’s a 10 hour round trip. Despite being at KC for 3 nights, we never had time to use the pool as we spent all day on game drives given the remote location.||The lodge is very old and the rooms are in desperate need of a face lift. The bathrooms haven’t been updated in 30 years. ||Meals were so-so. They try to be extremely accommodating but none of the meals “wowed” us. It was all edible and fine.

Top notch experience from arrival to departure. Can’t say enough great things about the accommodations, food and very attentive staff, especially Ivan (Manager), Dennis to went above and beyond to make sure we were having a wonderful experience and of course our Safari Guide and Spotter, Rabin and Gwandou. ||So glad we found &Beyond to book our bucket list Safari trip. The photos very accurately reflect what we observed. It seemed like the entire staff knew our names, loved working there and had enormous pride in their work and their culture. ||Asante sana and hakuna matata!
