Andino Gelato Sunset

My partner and I happened upon the location in Sunset Valley after a stroll through the Wildflower Center. It was the only ice cream shop opened late. Upon entering we were greeted with the warmest smile, easy laughter and great care as they loaded up the most beautiful bubble cone with the tastiest, freshest ingredients. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was so minty, like the flavor came directly from a plant, not artificial flavors. The interior was fun, inviting and culturally significant to the brand. I’m so delighted. It’s my new favorite gelato place. 🍦

What an awesome gem in South Austin! Very cozy vibe and the gelato was delicious! We even had to get a pint to take home. Will definitely be coming back.

This was a VERY good spot on a hot summer day. 10/10 experience. I tasted 3 falvors: Watermelon, Mango, and Cookies and Cream. They tasted all so fresh. They were presented so nicely.

Yummy Llama gelato Not exactly where you'd expect to find a gourmet gelato spot, but here it is. It's a small strip mall location with not much space to sit, I'd recommend planning on leaving after getting your gelato. Also note they have unusual operating hours. I've shown up a few times when they should have been open but it was closed. They have a nice variety of flavors and ways to enjoy their confections. The gelato is rich and flavorful, it doesn't take a lot to get your fill. That said portions are pretty generous. You can get a very small portion all the way up to more than enough for two. A bit out of the way but worth the effort.

The flavors are incredible. We tried several, and each one was fresh and full of flavor. The creamy texture and the addition of fresh waffles made the experience even better. My personal favorites were the pistachio and walnut, though every flavor had something unique to offer. You can see the attention to detail in every gelato. The service was outstanding—friendly, quick, and with a smile, which is always appreciated. This place isn’t just an ice cream shop; it’s a must-visit spot if you’re looking for something special and lively. I highly recommend this place for families, friends, or even for treating yourself to a delightful moment. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

The place is so dirty I saw roaches comes from the cabinet and I saw the floor so nasty. I don’t know how they let them open store like that in Barton Greek mall. Also the ice cream doesn’t have that much milk most of its water and 3 balls with $9 is really not worth it and it’s so sweet not delicious at all When I told the lady about the Roaches 🪳 she doesn’t do anything and just ignore it!

This spot has great vibes, great people and, great gelato! Highly recommend you get that desert craving quenched here.

We were on the hunt for some magnificent gelato. We got ok gelato. The coconut was over flavored, the Stracciatella texture was off (almost like there were tiny ice chips in it), and overall the texture or flavor or both were off. While refreshing, and a sweet pick me up, it didn't met expectations. The lama theme is adorable however and the service was excellent. I know this looked like a new location, so hopefully they are just working out the kinks. If you're not picky and just want something sweet and refreshing you will love this place!

The gelato was so good, the staff was so kind, and we really enjoyed how cute the shop was and all the fun graphics! 10/10 will be back!!!
