What an awesome gem in South Austin! Very cozy vibe and the gelato was delicious! We even had to get a pint to take home. Will definitely be coming back.

This was a VERY good spot on a hot summer day. 10/10 experience. I tasted 3 falvors: Watermelon, Mango, and Cookies and Cream. They tasted all so fresh. They were presented so nicely.

Yummy Llama gelato Not exactly where you'd expect to find a gourmet gelato spot, but here it is. It's a small strip mall location with not much space to sit, I'd recommend planning on leaving after getting your gelato. Also note they have unusual operating hours. I've shown up a few times when they should have been open but it was closed. They have a nice variety of flavors and ways to enjoy their confections. The gelato is rich and flavorful, it doesn't take a lot to get your fill. That said portions are pretty generous. You can get a very small portion all the way up to more than enough for two. A bit out of the way but worth the effort.

A delicious and colorful experience! From the moment you arrive, this gelato shop captivates you with its fun and original vibe: a creative slogan and a llama wearing sunglasses invite you to leave the stress behind and enjoy some amazing gelato. The interior is vibrant and welcoming, with colorful walls and a charming message: “Your love story with gelato starts here.” It truly makes you feel like you’re in a special place. The flavors are incredible. We tried several, and each one was fresh and full of flavor. The creamy texture and the addition of fresh waffles made the experience even better. My personal favorites were the pistachio and walnut, though every flavor had something unique to offer. You can see the attention to detail in every gelato. The service was outstanding—friendly, quick, and with a smile, which is always appreciated. This place isn’t just an ice cream shop; it’s a must-visit spot if you’re looking for something special and lively. I highly recommend this place for families, friends, or even for treating yourself to a delightful moment. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

The place is so dirty I saw roaches comes from the cabinet and I saw the floor so nasty. I don’t know how they let them open store like that in Barton Greek mall. Also the ice cream doesn’t have that much milk most of its water and 3 balls with $9 is really not worth it and it’s so sweet not delicious at all When I told the lady about the Roaches 🪳 she doesn’t do anything and just ignore it!

I went in to grab a gelato with my kids today to my surprise the lady asked me to sit and wait 5 mins. She then took the order of the next person in line who came in after me. This made me very upset so I got up and left.

We had high hopes for this little spot, but were sorely disappointed. First, the customer service. Upon entry, we stood waiting for quite a while and never saw anyone, even after ringing the bell twice. Finally, the girl came out and just looked at us like “what do you want”. It was a strange interaction. The gelato: The website claims to make gelato fresh each day but it looked like a majority of the gelato had freezer burn from sitting too long. The pistachio was terrible - it had what tasted like coconut shavings in it and it was bitter. The Mexican vanilla was tasty (hence the 2 stars). My kiddo got cookies and cream and birthday cake and she said she was finished about 4 bites in. Unheard of! It also felt unsafe being there at 8pm on a Friday. The store is in a dark corner of the parking lot and it just felt “off”.
