&pizza

Been to about 5-8 &pizzas in the DC and MD area. Generally speaking, inconsistent customer service is the norm with most locations I’ve been to. Of late though, I would say this is my go to location preferably as the customer service is predictably better than most of the other ones that I frequent. One server here routinely serves with a smile which I can’t say about any other location I’ve been too. They consistently get my order right, they use better sanitary practices, and they do a better job of creating a balanced pizza, unlike some locations that don’t even care how they place your ingredients. Only reason I gave 4 stars, is because they told me they had no cups for water and I had to pay for one. Free water should be available for any paying customer. This is a fast food standard in USA. IDK, maybe it’s just me, but I seen at least one other person mention in their review that they acted funny with them about water. Otherwise def recommend this location.

My pizza was sooo delicious. I'm a bit upset I forgot to get a picture of it. But it was the mushroom pizza with goat cheese. All the flavors came together so well. It was amazing. I'm definately going to get it again. Additionally, the cashier was one of the sweetest kindest more patient people ever. The store wasn't full and she let me and my colleagues really take our time to figure out what we wanted. She answered our questions with patience and a smile. It's refreshing to be treated so well. I definately plan to go back soon.

The manager was very helpful when we accidentally placed the order for the wrong location. He made the pizzas right away and was generous by giving a free soft drink while we were waiting. I had a gluten free crust pizza. The food was good. The location is convenient and clean. If you're looking for quick and delicious dinner, I'd recommended this place.

This place is nice and you have to order your pizza and take it by yourself. The wait in the line was not too bad. The prices are ok too. They do not have any fountain drinks at this place. The drinks are a bit expensive so just be careful. The pizza was very different and delicious. You can select from the prefixed menu or you can build one by yourself according to your taste. I went with the second option and it was great. The toppings are unlimited and you can select any base and cheese. The crust was thin and crackly.

Yooo when I went to &pizza today I did NOT expect to get a pizza this tasty. Staff listened closely to what I wanted and I loved how positive the atmosphere here is. Everything was cooked to perfection. I don’t favor pizza that much because of the sauce but THIS pizza ima have to order again. Thank you to staff for making my first time experience great! Definitely coming again !

THIS FOOD IS NOT CLEAN ITS SO FOUL SMELLING LIKE A WET DOG WITH DRIZZLED SPICE THE MENU SAID “DIRTY BIRD”. Menu cannot have any negative connotations on it for serving meals. No foul jokes can be on any fake menu. People cannot pay for dirty food.

I used to like this location; I’m not a fan anymore. I don’t know what they’ve done with the dough, but mine has a cracker like consistency now. Of all the &Pizzas I’ve been too, I’ve never I countered that. The ladies behind the counter claimed that’s the way it is. I appreciate them remaking it, but I disagree. This “pizza” is crunchy. I think it’s because they gave me gluten free crust now that I look at it, but I didn’t order that.

Pizzas are delicious and light, my favorites are the Billie and the Kalamata Harris. I order through the app and pick up or you can have it delivered. It's usually ready within 10-15 mn. The only issue I had is the store not displaying a pick up sign, so it was confusing to know where to go to pick up my order the first time. I had to ask other customers , waited in the wrong line while the girl taking the orders who could hear me, could have just pointed me to the right direction.

Though the pizza tasted good, it was super dry (needed more sauce and cheese!) would test it out again... maybe just a bad day!

&Pizza is always delicious. Why? Because you decide how you want it. You pick the sauce. You pick the toppings. If it sucks, it's your fault. I always start with their New G, but add other stuff, especially mozzarella. And mushroom are a staple for me. My pizza was delicious. My friend liked hers too, but would probably go less spicy text time. This was her second time (I bought her one previously). I convinced her to get the app. You should too, if you don't already have it. They send you deals all the time. Free pizza on your birthday. Sometimes you can nab a pizza for $3.00! Then you can splurge on one of their fancy soda. They are so good too! There's only three tables for dine in, and no outdoor seating.

I was always a fan of &pizza but something has changed. Not just at this location but I think it's the pizza dough they use. It's not the light flaky crust it used to be. Also I don't see all of the toppings that I used to see. I ordered a pizza and because they have online orders, Uber and other ppl walking in. They put my pizza in the oven behind them and it was given to someone else. I was so irritated bcuz I handpicked my toppings. The person at the front insisted that I take the woman's, who he swap. I couldn't believe it. I won't be back because the quality is not the up to parr. There was no ambience, the seating area appeared to be unkept

Decided to order from this location for the first time today through a delivery service. When the food arrived I noticed that there were NO sauces for the Garlic Knots and I was also missing a paid can of soda. The phone number for this location on google/yelp/website gives an immediate voicemail that this line could not take incoming calls. So I can't get ahold of anyone. Frustrating, as I would like for my issues to be remedied. The Create your own pizza was good Garlic Knots - Eh, since I didn't have any sauce to dip them in. Also, they weren't really "garlicky" Chocolate Chip Cookie - Huge. Fresh as could be as it was made/packaged yesterday Soda/Tea - Just taste like flavored water Would not recommend this location or you may be better off picking up your food to check before you leave.

Oh how I love &Pizza and their delicious pizzas! Buuuuut, this location needs a little assistance in the time management department. I have to agree with my fellow Yelp Elite Katrina L, it takes forever for your pizza to be made here! I've visited several locations in DC and MoCo, so I know it takes time for the pizzas to be made, but the timing here was much longer for some reason. The concept is the same here as with all other &Pizzas. You come in and place your one of a kind pizza order or pre-made options. The staff will make your pizza to order and put it in the oven and bake it while you wait. I came in on a Saturday and it was only a a handful of people in front of me, yet I found myself in line waiting forever. I could only imagine if it were a mad rush during lunchtime, I would probably still be waiting for my pizza. The staff was nice enough, although the last staff member put the incorrect drizzle on my pizza, but we are wearing masks, so I can't really fault her for the miscommunication. It was still delicious and still hot and fresh. I am glad &Pizza decided to venture across the county line to Gorgeous Prince George's...just wish it were a closer to my neck of the woods. I'll be back, but maybe to shorten my wait time, I'll order online next time.

Glad this location came here! I fell in love with &pizza soon as I first tried it years ago and I'm happy to see them expanding. I had a $5 credit to use for St. Paddy's Day (why not?!). I love &pizza and they are a bit pricey to me for a personal pizza but it's delicious and I always order the create your own. The only downside I had with this location was the crazy parking. I literally had to keep driving around for almost 10 minutes before a spot opened up. I understand it is located at a mall and with other restaurants around, but still. It was a bit annoying and I was starving! Service was good and there was a decent amount of seating. I like the couches in the front!

I went to their spot located at 3500 East-West Hwy., Unit 1250 Hyattsville M.D. because I was just going to their spot!! I figured since I only have a picture review of this place why not do the video LITE POCKET MEAL joint! Now if you haven't been here, and/or you don't have it in your city, I feel for you!! Alright they have oval shaped pizza, with a wide variety of unlimited toppings for $10...That's it. . . All right first you choose your bread... A traditional bread, or gluten-free bread. Then you choose your sauce (marinara, spicy marinara, pesto, or garlic Parmesan). Now it's time to put your toppings on!! Now it's too many toppings for me the name here so I'm a let y'all know what I got on this pie!! . . I copped their regular crust, with that spicy marinara, and a splash of that garlic parm. I got spinach, onions, a little bit of basil, fresh mozzarella mix with shredded mozzarella, grilled onions, jalapeños, roasted red peppers, mushrooms,pepperoni, & sausage!! . . After it was cooked, I finessed this pie with garlic oil, hot honey, red pepper flakes, their everything blend, grated Parmesan cheese, and ranch (pictured $5.30 with my award points on their app). I also got their Mango Passionfruit soda (pictured $2.25). STAMP!! . This spot has consistently been a STAMP for me...it's my GO TO when I need a quick inexpensive pie!! . . Customer service was excellent, online navigation is super simple (download their app), the establishment was clean, parking was tough, I recommend making your own pie!! I love the spot. The folks are always so kind and professional. The pizza was so good. Get the hot spicy honey. They take all the recommended precautions. The place is lovely.

Oh how I wish there was an &pizza in Anne Arundel County! I guess I should be thankful that I don't have to go all the way to DC anymore since there's one in PG County. I drove all the way here to get the gnarlic pizza. Unfortunately they no longer have the garlic ricotta sauce. However the young lady that made my pizza had a great suggestion. Since they still had the garlic oil she mixed it with the white cheese sauce. Then I topped my pizza with grilled onions, bacon, spinach, chicken, fresh mozzarella and shredded mozzarella. Thank God they still had the basil pesto finishing sauce. I ate the whole pizza in the parking lot in my car. It was just as delicious as I remembered. I love all the &pizza options from crust & sauce, to toppings & finishers. I forgot how good the crust was! Maybe one day they'll make it available for sale in grocery stores.

I came upon this new &pizza location and honestly, my first thought was that this area is beneath them. I lived across the street from PG Plaza for a while, so I can say that. The restaurant was on the outside of the mall in its own space instead of in the food court, and it had a nice bit of color in the decor, and but there were some significant issues. The line moved pretty slowly, and it took me close to 20 minutes from entering to get a pizza, mostly because only one person was working the line. The mall was packed and they were doing decent business, so this is a staffing issue. I also got a fountain drink, and of course &pizza has delicious sodas, but my pear fig elixir came out of the machine flat. Seriously? Never had that happen before. I tried a second flavor (cherry cola), and it too did not have a single bubble. They had some cool-looking couch seating, but there weren't really any places to put a pizza near these couches, which was a bit baffling. The payment processing was not working and that added some hassle as well. Too many problems to write off as a bad day. This is on top of a slight erosion of quality that I've noticed at all the locations; some nice toppings and other options are gone, and nothing good seems to have replaced them yet. I got pesto sauce, but the sundried tomatoes and fresh basil I used to get with it are gone, along with the feta and the cooked mushrooms and the ancient grains crust. I hope the menu gets a bit of a jolt sometime soon with new vegetables or nuts or herbs. The saving grace of course, is that I still got a pretty good fast casual pizza. It came out quite spicy, as I had some spicy sauce on top of my pesto and the jalapeños were on point when I visited. So I haven't really savaged this location, but seeing as how this is my 18th &pizza review (!), I know what to expect here, and this location needs some work.

Great location, convenient, fabulous staff!

The cashier and young lady who fixed our pizzas this evening really saved this place!!!!! First, when we walked in and this older young lady who was making pizzas literally looked me in my eyes and I greeted her politely saying "hello" and she ignored me!! I mean did they open and not train their staff on customer service?!!!!!! Can we say RUDE???!!!! But nonetheless this younger more vibrant young lady came around and greeted us with a smile and was just so pleasant. At the end of my order I asked the young lady if I could tip her personally as she definitely deserved it and turned this 1 star rating into a 5.... No matter how good your food is, the customer service is what really matters!! People will always remember how you make them feel...Management should definitely pass that along to the staff working here...

Great location! This was my first time at &Pizza and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients and very sweet employees working here. They were patient with me, and I am very indecisive :(! But they didn't make me feel bad about it. They suggested things to me and helped me out a lot actually. I will return!

Yall know I love &pizza...way more than I should. I've had it at locations all over the DC Area and two of the things I appreciate about the chain are the level of consistency, and how I can get a made-to-order pizza fairly quickly. However, this location has a LOT of work to do before that can reach that standard. Despite coming in during the middle of a weekday afternoon, they were not prepared to do business at all... which made me very late for an appointment that I was otherwise on time for. They ran out of dough when it was my turn to order, so I had to wait because of that. When I finally got to order, there was a logjam at the condiment and pay stations (with one person working both,.. and not very well). When it was my turn to request toppings, he stopped taking requests io cut not only my pizza, but all of the other pizzas behind me, which added to the already ridiculous delay. I usually order the same thing (waaaaay too many ingredients to name here) and top it with a healthy drizzle of the Cherry Bomb BBQ sauce. When I asked for the sauce, the guy looked at me as if I was speaking in tongues. He had literally no clue what I was talking about, so I told him to forget it and pulled my card out to pay. The visit took well over 20 minutes, which is not what I'm used to from this place. I've gone to other locations at the peak of lunch rush and been out in 10 minutes, max. There were only of handful of people in line here, and most of those people had already had their pizzas made, so there was no excuse for the holdup. This place is severely understaffed and the staff require retraining to become more familiar with the menu. They would be wise to address these issues soon because there are way too many other food options within a short walking distance for people to wait 20+ minutes for pizza.

&pizza should have never come to Maryland. Literally every experience I've had at this location has been gravely disappointing, and it keeps getting worse and worse. My 'to-go' orders have been turned into 'come-in-and-wait-15-minutes, turning the 'convenience' of ordering ahead into more of a nuisance. I tried to give this location a fair shot - (it was new), and folks needed time to adjust. Ok, fine. But when the same issue happens 2-3 times, and staff offer no apologies, my angry Yelp Elitist vibes are all the way on, and I'm calling it what it is. What 'it is', is a local pizza chain with staff that need more training and much better customer service. I love &pizza, but the irritation of this particular location will send me down the street to Blaze Pizza without any regrets.

[This review is on the high end of four stars.] I love the &pizza concept, and this is among their better locations. It's clean, the employees are awesome, and there's decent indoor seating with outdoor tables available when the weather is nice. If there's a downside to this location, it's that it gets very busy at a certain time in the evening, and sometimes with customers who hold up the line a bit with their indecision and/or complicated orders. That can add a few minutes to the time that it takes to get the food. But the employees handle it well. They keep things moving as fast as possible, even when it requires working very hard, they accommodate customers' requests well, and they do it all politely and with a positive energy that I'd find it hard to muster under the same circumstances. If you haven't been to an &pizza, think of it as "the Chipotle of pizza," well executed with good ingredients on a good crust with an oven that manages to cook everything just right in a few minutes. Also, newbies should definitely consider trying their sodas, which are great. If you have been to other locations and liked them, you'll be happy with this location. This is a relatively new spot, and the company's management should be proud that they got it firing on all cylinders right away and should give kudos to all of the people working hard to make it a great place.

I've living in the DMV for about 3 years now and people All over have raved about &pizza. I see them everywhere from DC to Bethesda, but I have never found myself ordering one until the Christmas Eve afternoon hunger pains hit! I was hunting for a few last minute items and I said to myself "&pizza it's time to give you a try!" I'm certainly glad I did. I had a lot of family with me from Atlanta so I ordered several pizzas and let them have at it....everything was amazing and I loved the peculiar size of the pizzas. The staff was wonderful and personable for a fast causal establishment and I will be ordering & pizza more often. Hopefully they bring one to downtown silver spring soon. I think they would benefit from having &pizza in Silver Spring. I will try the veggie pizza the next time I go to an & pizza.

Great location. Super clean! The line wasn't long as well. So if you are in a hurry I highly suggest coming here. Chipotle next door has a long line. The staff is nice as well. They were really helpful in selecting toppings and sauce. Great location once again. Will definitely be back!! Keep it up &pizzza

UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. I was ready for some run of the mill, average subway level pizza...but no. This place was REALLY GOOD. Super fresh toppings, the dough has those little hard corn niblet things on the bottom...agh...we ate it SO fast. The service was really food too. The guy that finished our pizza was super sweet. Anyway...definitely eat here and LOAD your pizza up with toppings. Unlimited toppinnnnngs!!!

I walk in. This place just opened so I thought we'd have outstanding service. Nope. Manager was in the back office. Yup I'm taking notes. The set up is like all these other pizza places, pick your toppings and add the extras. What I didn't get is the guy who put my toppings on my pizza told me to Yelp. Okay. So you want people to rate the service? Interesting. A lady and 3 kids were before us. Took literally 17 minutes to order and get our food. It's not a quick spot. The issue, while the girl was at the topping station the manager was in the back, the cashier was overwhelmed and the other girl/guy were MIA. Whoa! The best part, I turn around ask the girl at the soda fountain for a box and she says you can get it. That's it folks there you have it! I'd never come back.

This is my go-to neighborhood spot for pizza. Currently, the East-West location is offering buy one get one free specials. So, 2 pizzas for less than $11. Customer service could be better, but it's Covid-19 season and the workers are overwhelmed and the company is understaffed.

I love LOVE LOVE &pizza I frequent the locations in DC the pizza is always in the top 10 best pizza in the United States on my list. This locations wait time needs work they take longer to make orders here than at any other location.

So they have their Covid-19 procedures in place.. So I placed my order via yelp and that was a smooth process . They really need to have their staff get better at assembly line, the back up came at the end when the young man was so overwhelmed that people's orders were sitting waiting to get boxed up for ten mins or more , my order was ready and just sat there waiting for him to figure out what to do next . After I got my pizza , IT WAS COLD ... There were at least 20 inside the store waiting... social distancing was not in effect Do better ...

Delicious! I came in on a Sunday afternoon . It wasn't pretty full, which allowed me to order and enjoy the process. The taste of the ingredients and the pie, outstanding.

No issues with the pizza, delicious per usual! The customer service was good as well. They listen to the customer's needs. Only complaint I can give us that the trash cans were over flowing and it made the place look messy but I understand they probably just got done serving for the dinner time rush.

This &pizza offers the same personal pizzas and soda you can count on from any of their many locations in the DMV. However, both times I've visited, it's clear they aren't able to keep up with the volume of dine in customers. Trash is overflowing, napkin dispensers are empty, and tables are dirty. Pizza from this location is best enjoyed carry-out style. If you're at or near the mall and looking for somewhere to sit down and eat, it is better to skip this location. BTW, the staff are plenty friendly. It just doesn't seem like the location appropriately staffs to have someone working anywhere except behind the counter doing prep, taking orders, or ringing up customers.

I'm new to the area this is my first time buying a pizza and if it's good I will be back. It's not first time having shrimp on the piza

My PIZZA was AMAZING! So fresh soooooo flavorful. I enjoyed every bite! I also had there Ginger Berry Lemonade..SOOOO good! I am definitely returning to the restaurant.

&Pizza is always a hit. They might not always have the friendliest people working there but the pizza itself, since you are the director of its existence, never fails you. Definitely one of my happy places. Very affordable as well. Great parking options here at this location!

Customer service is terrible. They don't greet you. They just stare at you like you're inconveniencing their day. Canceled my order because the cashier wouldn't let me pick out a drink before ringing me up. He complained that I didn't acknowledge him when I was looking at the display counter. I had no idea I was at work. They're backwards and overall lackluster. 0/10 do not recommend.

JACOB WAS HORRIBLE. 10/29/23 @ 2:00 pm. I can not say it enough his attitude is awful and I believe he is racist. He did not want to help. There was no toilet paper and he said there was nothing he could do and I should leave the store while my pizza was being made to go out into the mall restrooms. He lied and said the shipment was late and arriving tomorrow but on the way out my mom used the restroom and when another coworker came in Jacob made the other guy fill the roll of toilet paper meaning there was more in the back. My pizza box was a mess due to my toppings being thrown together. I had a few slices left and asked for a small box to go. Jacob was rude and said he would not and could not give me a box to go. I have NEVER in my life been to a food establishment that would not give a paying customer a to go BOX. Absolutely ridiculous. I have never experienced this horrible service to the point I needed to do such a negative review. I am honestly appalled by Jacob's nasty attitude. If he doesn't like black people he should not work in customer service. It is clear he hates his job and black people as well. I've been an &Pizza customer for 3+ years. I began frequenting the U Street location in college, the North Bethesda location once I started my career, and now the PG Plaza location as it's close to my home. That being said, I believe in providing companies that review their customers' feedback, quality feedback. I recently received an invitation to try out the new gluten-free crust on January 15th. I was ecstatic to take advantage of the opportunity! I went to the PG Plaza location on January 15th to redeem my offer and was thoroughly impressed. In addition to being vegan, the crust was the same size as the classic crust and crisped up in the oven resulting in a sturdy, yet tasty pizza. I was sold. So much so that the husband and I came back for a second and third pizza the same night! Now fast forward to today, January 17th, I giddily returned to this location (when pizza is good, it's good) with the expectation that I would have the same, if not better, experience. Not the case. The crust didn't appear to be fully cooked. By the time I realized this, I was already home. Also, the young lady that crafted my pizza was sweet but was stingy with the toppings. So I ended up with a half-cooked pizza & sparse toppings. On a positive note, it's good to see local businesses supporting the furloughed feds. Although I wasn't impacted, my mother and sister are and they've worried about one less meal because of &Pizza's generosity.

All &Pizza's are not created equally! Lol! They each have something they excel at. Today this location is be honored for their customer service & for having the most flavorful basil pesto drizzle. Today I used the &pizza app for the first time. It was NOT a success. I built my own pizza & when i went to pick it up it looked nothing like the pizza I usually get. They insisted to remake it for me, and gave me a free fountain drink for the inconvenience! Pizza turned out amazing after the redo! & was the most flavorful to date from this location. &Pizza is always bomb. Usually this location tastes bland, but today is was THE BOMB! I was able to get it crispy like I like it, and it taste there dark cherry cOLa, it was just ok.

I usually go to &pizza on Hst but I didn't feel like making the drive there, But I'm so glad I stopped by this location. Don't get me wrong Hst has excellent customer service and not to mention they're open late late on the weekend. PG mall location pleasantly surprised me especially being as though there's so much competition around them, so I got a warm welcome upon walking in my pizza was expertly made by Waverly and I was able to use my rewards I'm happy and satisfied with my experience here!

The mavericks i ordered were supposed to come with shrimp which cost extra but they didnt add them to the pizza when i picked them up, nor did they add the other toppings.

Due to the loss of business during a pandemic you'd think they would ensure quality. Nope. I ordered Uber Eats and the pizzas delivered were very very dry and had cheese missing in half of them. They sold me pizza hastily thrown together. No thanks won't be ordering from here again.

Came here on my cheat day. And I had. No clue they served vegan sausage. I had a veggie pizza with vegan sausage. It was so good. Love the customer service here. The girls were so helpful.

The food and servic was very good & professional. This has been my second time at this location & staff like Will and Wazerly had been great & professional. it's nothing like great customer service when your paying.

The pizza is really good when not overcooked, the parking is horrendous, and the customer service is mediocre at best. Recently I ordered the OG with shrimp for pick up. The cashier acknowledged me when I came and he told me that the preparer was finishing up my pizza, which was fine because I wanted it nice and hot. The preparer was not paying attention and proceeded to place my pizza in the hot box. The cashier immediately gave me my pizza, however the preparer did not finish my pizza since the basil was missing and the food was overcooked. As I walked back to my car I started to smell something burnt. I opened the box and noticed the missing ingredient and it being overcooked. Overall, the chain is good and the pizza is great however, they need to work on their staff.
