I used to turn my nose up at chains, but then I realized I shouldn't hate on an establishment for good enough to have massive growth. Yes, many establishments end up losing quality, especially the bigger they get. But not all.
&Pizza is a perfect example of a chain that has the quality of a "mom n pop", while also having the price point and consistency of a chain. Definetely sign up for their rewards...it's one of the best rewards programs I've ever signed up for. They randomly drop offers like $5 pie.
Ordering online or via the app is very convenient.
The first time I ever tried this place was in DCA airport. I got the moonstruck. This particular pie isn't available at all locations, BUT since you can customize your pie however you like, you can replicate it pretty well.
I usually add goat cheese and fig balsamic to every pie I get. Everyone has different tastes so that might not be your jam. The good thing is the menu is fully customizable, so you should be able to find something you like! It might take some trial and error till you find the perfect combinations. Or you can stick to the basics if you already know what you like. I normally like "adventurous" combinations, but my husband usually just gets the heifer, (pepperoni pizza with ranch drizzle) and it's super yummy!
They have fantastic vegetarian options and vegan options! I personally did not care for the vegan sausage, but the vegan chicken is PHENOMINAL.
Seriously, give this place a try. You might not like it, especially if you have a particular type of pizza you prefer. I personally like pretty much any type. Thin crust, thick crust, I'll eat it all. I think Detroit style is my fave thick crust, and St Louis is my fave thin crust. But other than school lunch pizza, there really haven't been many pizzas in my life I didn't like.
The only downside for me is they don't have anything besides pizza, knots, and dessert. No wings or anything like that. But hey, maybe that's why the pizza is SO GOOD. Because it's pretty much all they do.
