The Jersey City Delivery & Takeout Directory

"While the combo with various deli meats, fresh mozzarella, and crunchy, chewy bread is our favorite sandwich here, there’s no wrong way to order at this deli in The Heights. Order any or all of the five subs offered here by calling in an order for pickup at 201-653-1666." - matt tervooren

The 21 Best Restaurants In Jersey City 2024

"New Jersey is full of Italian delis, and Andrea Salumeria is one of its best. This family-owned, brick-lined storefront has small aisles stacked with imported Italian groceries, dried meats, and fresh homemade mozzarella alongside their specialty sandwiches, salads, and pastas.  Come for lunch and order one of the five sandwich choices, though know that The Combo (with ham, salami, sopressata, capicola, mozzarella, provolone, and sweet peppers) is the undisputed hero of them all. Try to beat the lunch rush by coming before noon. If that’s not an option, the wait will be worth it. There’s no seating, but you can take your sandwich to one of the nearby parks—Riverview-Fisk is just a few blocks away. " - matt tervooren, nisha vedi pawar, kendal nicole lambert

Great little authentic Italian deli. No frills. Great spot for a sandwich and has a decent but small assortment of Italian grocery items. Jarred artichokes, sauces, pasta, cookies, ravioli, etc.

Google
Best Deli in Jersey City…friendly, warm, inviting and the food is top notch. Deli meats sliced and packaged in wax paper the way it should be! Everything sold here is excellent quality. There is a reason it’s so loved. Also, Pete’s special tuna with mutz is not to be missed!

Visiting from Florida, my friend takes me to this place. Said they have the best sandwiches in NJ. Bold statement I thought, so let’s give it a shot. He wasn’t lying. The Soprano sandwich, which is what I got, was out of this world. The man behind the counter made a joke saying that the only thing about that sandwich I should know, is when I finish it, I’ll be able to speak Italian. Might not be able to do that but for a moment I felt like I was actually eating food over there. Every time I come back to NJ I’ll be getting a sandwich here. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Google
My mother put me on to these sandwiches almost 20 years ago. Same thing everytime , Turkey mozz sun dried tomato balsamic mayo . I started getting them everytime I’m in Jersey city for work , and they are fresh everytime … I love how the shop looks like I stepped into a little piece of Italy with all of the foreign goods on the shelves

Yelp
I have waited too long to try the great Andrea Salumeria. I called in my order for two sandwiches and 15 minutes later I was walking out with a heavy bag of goodness. I am sure you've heard of them before and there is a reason why, they make classic & tasty sandwiches. I am a creature of habit at a deli, and so for my first order, it was my usual: turkey, roastbeef, the works. *chef's kiss* So good. The bread was incredible, it was stuffed to the brim with meats, just the right amount of everything. I have found my go-to deli in the area. Not only was the food outstanding, but the guys behind the counter were a delight, the person that took my order over the phone was patient and kind and the space is filled to the brim with Italian goodies. I cannot wait to come back.

Yelp
My go to place to get an Italian sub. Got the soprano and added hot peppers. The bread is always soft and the meats always taste fresh. Didn't get any of the salads there this time but the pasta salads are also delicious. If you are in the area highly recommend stopping in
google avatar

Yelp
My only complaint was that I didn't see 5 guys sitting outside the shop like it was Satriale's. I was expecting to talk to some guys with pinky rings about some guy who owes me money. I didn't find anyone who could point me in the direction of who to talk to about a dish best served cold. So I had a cannoli and a sandwich and managed to fuhgetboutit. Definitely will return. Excellent meat and bread and cheese.

Yelp
Love, Andrea salumeria what a great neighborhood place, their mozzarella is so fresh and I love their iceberg lettuce salads, they don't have anything fried, but they do have great meats

Yelp
We went for the Italian Cold Cuts because they look so good and interesting. They were huge sandwiches like hoagies, and we became happy campers. Although the Misses could not finish eating her sandwiches with a tiny tummy lol, so she gave them to me. Love the vibe here and people. Nice clean looking family style place. Friendly people and good sandwiches with fresh breads and meats. We will be back for more.

Yelp
One of my favorite sandwich spot and had a quick bite there before heading home. I had the Fresh Mutz Sandwich and takeout an Combo Sandwich for my wife. The sandwiches didn't disappoint at all. It was made fresh and hot. The flavors were well-balanced and had a great quality. The tomato and roast peppers was good with Fresh Lettuce and fresh mutz. The buns were fresh and tasty too. Worth the price and has great customer service.

Yelp
We visited Andrea Salumeria as part of a food tour and we had a great experience. Pete, the owner, is super nice and you can really see his passion for his business. We were given a very generous portion of the Soprano sandwich, which was fantastic. I am definitely coming back for this sandwich. It was so good, the bread was soft, the house made mozzarella was rich and moist. Best of all, was their roasted peppers! It was so good we went back after the tour to buy a container of it to take home. We also came back to buy one of the panettone, which Pete sells at a very reasonable price. Honestly, way more reasonable than a lot of the shops I used to go to in Bay Ridge. Almost everyone who came through the store while we were there on the tour was a regular and you can just see the warm welcome Pete gives them all.

Yelp
Quality Italian products, great sandwiches, top tier customer service. Their bread is fantastic for a nice sandwich. Great stuff

Yelp
Ordered a sandwich at Andrea Salumeria on Friday afternoon. Impressed by the quality and will. need more time to explore the other offerings. Quality: The excellent things I heard about Andrea Salumeria were correct. On this visit I only ordered a sandwich, but I will certainly be back for more items. The What's Up Sandwich is a spicy Italian combination. It has ham cappicola, hot sopresata, hot cappicola, mozzarella, provolone, and hot peppers. There is definitely heat behind it, but with sharp provolone and the salty meats it create a well balanced sandwich. The bread was a little tough, which would be my only real complaint. Quantity: Large and filling sandwich. Value: $12.50 for the What's Up Sandwich. Ambiance: Andrea Salumeria is a Italian speciality shop located in Jersey City Heights. The shop is tiny and every inch filled with different products. A fridge at the entrance contains pastas and drinks, the walls are covered with sauces and other cooking ingredients, and the counter showcases the meats and prepared items. There is not much space inside, so expect to squeeze if it is busy. Crowd: I just beat the lunch rush as about ten people walked in right after me and completely filled the space. Service: Friendly guys behind the counter, but be sure to have your order ready to go. Parking: Some street parking throughout the area.

Yelp
Pete and the boys make the best sandwiches hands down. Top ingredients and fresh bread.

Yelp
Jersey City, NJ // The heights staple. Transplants will pass by it, but the locals will frequent it. It's a IYKYK type deal. Space will be small for some but it does not miss. Food always packs a punch and the people that have made this establishment what it is today are amazing. Personal fave: - Soprano: soppressata, prosciutto, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, evoo - Turkey & salami with everything

Yelp
Great Italian Specialty Items there Sandwiches r rated # 1 in New Jersey.Pete the owner is a great guy and a character .Everything is fresh and there Mozzarella is to die for.

Yelp
If anyone from Jersey City reads this they already know and don't need my review, the sandwiches here are outstanding. I would give it six stars if I could but we all live under some sort of limits. I've been coming here for years and they are still the best. It's a little hole in the wall on Central Ave. in the heights. You could blindfold me and I would know where I was from the awesome smell that hits you when you walk in. The sandwiches and bread are top notch and the salads (try the cold cut pasta) are just as good. Same guys behind the counter forever and they never fail to smile while they serve you. The deli also offers assorted Italian cookies and pastries as well as all sorts of pasta, sauces, jarred condiments, and assorted Italian foods. Not a bad thing to say. If you're in the area a must try for lunch.

Yelp
My absolute favorite sandwich shop in Jersey City. I don't know if the owner truly remembers me or is an incredible talker. Either way, I leave there feeling like a million bucks with a delicious sandwich. Try the fresh mozzarella. The mini cannolis are good too. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
The best of the best! The owner and others who work there always make you feel like you're an old friend stopping by- they're so friendly. Their sandwiches are incredible, as are the pasta salads. They also have a wide range of Italian goods and grocery items to purchase. You won't regret supporting this long-time Jersey City business!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this place! Such a great family owned and run business! The meats and cheeses are excellent! Everything is always so fresh and delicious!! We've come here a few more times since the first review lol. We would be here more if we lived closer! I ordered the roast beef with extra mozzarella and wow! Amazing!! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
You can't go wrong here. Pete is the man, and everything they make/sell is done so with passion and knowledge.

Yelp
We try out the fresh roasted beef and mozzarella sandwiches comparing to fiords s in Hoboken the. Fiords when's hands down !
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Very good sandwich and friendly service. Mozzarella is excellent, as is the cold-cut quality. Their sun-dried tomatoes are some of the best I have ever had. Only thing I will point out is that the sandwich I just finished didn't have as much meat packed in as some of the other Italian deli sandwiches I have had in Hoboken. Nevertheless still wayyyyy above average, and still a place I will go to again.
google avatar

Yelp
Best Italian subs in town hands down Soprano and combo are favs with sundried tomatoes and fresh mozz

Yelp
Great hidden gem on Central Avenue in the Heights. Always great food & fabulous service. Pete & his staff are the best!

Yelp
This place has some reputation on it! The reviews are top notch and honestly there product speaks for itself. First off the staff in here are nice people. The guy was very helpful and even made a suggestion on what I should have. FYI, they don't have hot food except soup but who cares. The Italian sandwiches are where its at. The italian sandwich was not salty either which sometimes is a fault of some deli's. The Mozzarella is the star of the show and it is great. The caprese sandwich was also good too. There isn't much of a menu here so make sure you know what you want. The bread is very good and it was very soft. It did not have a hard exterior which I like. Some italian bread has an exterior so hard that you can lose a tooth on it. Not here. Sandwiches are a simple thing but they do them right here. This is an old school deli and I love spots like this. This place lived up to its reputation. Definitely come check this out.

Yelp
Andrea's has been my friend's childhood favourite for the longest, and upon visiting him this time in Jersey City, he said he'd treat me. I was excited, as I love a good deli sandwich as a Brooklyn-boy myself. I got the combo sandwich, and upon waiting, they were kind enough to let me try a fresh slice of mozzarella {or "mutz", as they call it} - I was so accustomed to the crappy Polly-O salted string-cheese variety that I wasn't even sure I was eating the same cheese. This was whole-other level type stuff, and I was so excited for the sandwich. When we got back home, the $10 pound of meat flanked between two bread slices was opened and I eagerly began consuming. The cured meat beckoned for floss after, and I was happy, but I realised something was missing. The sandwich was just...alright. This may be an unpopular opinion, but it lacked any real flavour. I was hoping the cured meat would give it a more savory taste with the salting/spices, but I genuinely could not make out any of the meats. I can't lie - I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the sandwich, and thought it needed something else, maybe a sauce, to pull it through. I don't have the heart to tell my best friend that I think his favourite childhood sandwich spot is just "meh", but I can't lie to my Yelp community and lead them astray.

Yelp
Very stuffed delicious sandwich! Will definitely be ordering from this place again! Coworkers ordered for lunch and it was a hit!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Andreas is the absolute best deli/sandwich spot I've ever been to. Everyone makes you feel like family when you walk in and your face is always remembered. The Soprano is absolutely to die for and Pete's Tuna Sandwich is the best tuna I have ever had. Pete is even there to say hello. I wish there were more establishments like this. No gimmicks, nothing over the top, just delicious food and amazing service.
google avatar

Yara C.

Yelp
Really solid Italian food place, and I love that they have some Italian groceries as well. I love their sandwiches, Andrea Salumeria is a JC classic.
google avatar

Pamela M.

Yelp
We had the Soprano and the What's Up. Amazing, quality meats and cheeses with unique marriages of flavors with sun dried tomatoes on one and hot peppers on the other. Difficult to park in the area so take a friend that can sit in the car while you run in to order. Reasonable price for the amount and quality of the ingredients.
google avatar

Yeraldine S.

Yelp
I am disappointed to announce that this was my first time trying #AndreaSalumeria after being a local in Jersey City for many years :( I have let too much time pass by and now I have to make it up to them. I contacted the place and placed an order (quick & easy).- It was difficult finding parking around the area but it was worth going around in circles for a few minutes. I tried the Soprano (Sopresata, Prosciutto, Mozzarella (SO GOOD), Sundry Tomatoes, Extra Virgin Oil) - It was perfect. I cannot wait to try more of the sandwiches and salads. -Take my money and loyalty! One of the best Italian sandwiches I have had in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious. Hits the spot. They're so nice, gotta get them when they're open! Feels so exclusive going there, a small joint in the Heights, love their food and their sandwiches
google avatar

Yelp
Bread is too hard. Almost broke my teeth. The other stuff is good. This place is definitely over rated.
google avatar

Yelp
House-made Mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich. Do it. Get the hot pepper spread. Absolutely phenomenal classic sandwich. I went with my vegan friend the other day and they whipped up a truly satisfying sandwich w that spread as the base. Wink at the guy behind the corner. He loves that. You'll love it too.
google avatar

Yelp
My first real Italian Salumeria in Jersey and what can I say? This place is the REAL Jersey Deal. Come for the sandwiches, leave with the cannolis! I love the spicy What's Up sub and the prosciutto mutz special but EVERYTHING they make is delicious. They do great soup of the day specials in winter and serve incredible fresh mutz. The cannolis are piped fresh to order and are incredible. The owners are characters too- this is a neighborhood gem & staple. It is the definition of True Authentic Italian Salumeria we are so lucky to have in NJ. There is no seating so it's just quick service cold cuts at the counter and specialty sandwiches/deli sides etc. go out of your way or comfort zone, come up to the heights, and grab you a delicious sub and I'll guarantee you'll probably leave with a story to tell!
google avatar

Diego M.

Yelp
Best place in the city to get your Boars Head deli meats; they have the best spicy capicola. Also have delicious sandwiches that are worth trying!
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
Like everyone else has said, this is a damn good Italian sandwich. I still have my Hoboken go-to's, but this is no doubt the best that you can find in JC. The reason this sammie is so amazing is pretty simple. It's filled to the brim with meats, fresh mutz and veggies. So basically, it's all you could want from an Italian sandwich and more. The bread is perfectly baked and the portions are massive. One sandwich is easily enough to feed two people. We ordered two for two people and it was an unnecessary amount of food. I ended up eating half for lunch and half for din. I ordered a soprano which had fresh mutz, prosciutto, sopressata and sun dried tomato. The meat to cheese ratio was absolutely perfect and each bite was heavenly. My only complaint is that the sandwich was a bit oily so next time I'd ask them to go lighter. Otherwise, this was a top notch sandwich experience. While the menu is pretty basic lunch fare (sandwiches, salads, soups, etc) the storefront is actually a small speciality grocery store. You can find a variety of cold and packaged Italian grocery items. You can tell that most of the brands are authentic Italian. It's no surprise that Andrea Salumeria is a well known local favorite and is consistently ranked one of the best (if not the best) Italian sandwiches in NJ. It's for sure worth a visit.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Discovered this place while living in the Heights a few years back and even after living in Manhattan and currently in Williamsburg Brooklyn, I have yet to find a better sandwich shop anywhere. Whenever I see my family in NJ, go hiking in NJ, or pretty much do anything in that general direction, better believe I'm stopping here. Being family run, you can easily tell that their food is good because there's a lot of love that goes into it. Pete is the man, friendly, always with a witty joke or two, and someone you would love to crack a few beers open with. The consistency of the quality of their food is remarkable. I have never been disappointed. The Soprano is IMO, the perfect sandwich, made up of fresh baguette, homemade mozzarella, soppressata, prosciutto, sundried tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil. I like to add some balsamic vinegar to it for some acidity and I kid you not, I can eat this thing everyday and not get tired of it. The wall opposite the cured meats is a wide array of authentic Italian cooking oils, spices, pastas, etc. My only critique would be that the store is actually tough to see from the outside but it makes it all the more charming as a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and go here immediately.
google avatar

Camille M.

Yelp
Best deli. Best food best service!!! My favorite is the truffle cheese among many other items. Everything is always fresh and delicious!!

Ron M.

Yelp
This is a great place for old school italian sandwiches. Very friendly staff. Had a few combos . Generous amount of meats and cheese on really good italian bread . Reasonable prices. I also got the Petes Tuna which is their specialty. Excellent place a must if you are in the area.

Yelp
They've been around for a long time. I've been ordering for years. I may not know everyone's names but it's always a warm welcome so you get great customer service and great food. sandwiches always taste so fresh!!! you can tell when something is made with "love&care" and it always is. a go to apor here in Jersey City heights.

Yelp
Hands down the best deli I have been to. Do yourself a favor and get a sandwich anyone will change your belief on what a sandwich should taste like.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious. The mozzarella tasted fresh. The sandwich was full of meat and cheese. I would definitely recommend this deli. Parking can be difficult as it is metered street parking on a busy street. Walkable if you live in Jersey city heights.

Yelp
***LOVE AFFAIR WITH PASTA*** Dear Andrea, I had to find out about you on my own. I saw the outgoing calls to you, I noticed the secretive "I have to step out real quick " routine and the "don't bring me lunch to work today. I aready ate" excuses! Deep down I knew something was up... SMH... I couldn't believe my bf was having affair with your pasta! He had no choice ,but to confess his where abouts. Things will never be the same as I've now fallen for you too! These days all we do is bicker about what days to visit you. *** sighs*** till we meet again xo THE PASTA *=*=**=**=* This is some RIDICULOUSLY AH-MAY-ZING cold cut pasta. I effin swear !This is the kind of hearty pasta that will knock you out of your chair and leave you begging for more. You taste the freshness, the marinated oils/ vinegars and all kinds of mixed textures. Giving the pasta an organic taste unlike any other .5/5 -ham -salami -Mutz -peppers -tomatoes THE DELI *=*=*=*=*=* Located in the middle of Central Ave in the heights. You can count your steps in and out of the deli. That's how small the space is. It's meant for nothing more than ordering and picking up. Some days you will find parking , Some days you might have to risk it all and double park, but hey it's worth it. :)) SERVICE *=*=*=*=* Always greeted and served with an easy going smile. ( love the Italian accents & vibe in there) WARNING: *=*=*=*=*=* Andreas will steal heart and your pockets. She's just that gooood!

Raul S.

Yelp
Maybe it was just me but I didn't enjoyed the sandwiches(I only ate half), they might be good for an outing on the summer when there's no much food around, but I didn't like the hard and cold bread and the peppers were somewhat spicy but not flavor in them same for the cold cuts, the only good thing I liked was the mozzarella
google avatar

Juan S.

Yelp
Happen to be in the neighborhood for lunch and ordered the Combo and Soprano again to go. Last experience, the Soprano was well made. Not sure what was different this time. On both, the bread was tougher, the meat and moz were dry, the peppers tasted old and kept out overnight. There are better spots in Jersey City.
google avatar

KrisKat Y.

Yelp
Called in a small Italian platter really last minute. An hour and a half before I had to pick it up. Guys on the phone - super helpful. Guys at the counter when i went to pick up the platter - super nice. Yeah, the platter is "cute". Meats and cheese? YUM. People couldn't stop eating it. So fresh, so delicious. Bread? Soft and just enough crisp on the crust. We turned it into garlic bread. Definitely will go back.

Yelp
"It Mutz Have Been Love" by Mutzette Lay a sandwich On my pillow Leave the Ketchup On the ground I wake up hungry The sound of traffic In Hoboken And all around Feed me now I close my eyes And munch away It Mutz have been love With Andrea now It tastes so damn good But I dropped it somehow (f*** it, five second rule) It Mutz have been love With Andrea now From the moment I chomped To the time it ran out Over 200 reviews with a 5-star average? Fake reviews? Or the world's best deli? It's the latter. What to get: Hey Cuz, What's Up, Prosciutto w/ Fresh Mutz. Always: Get Fresh Mutz. And then: Join me in singing "It Mutz have been love" Owned by Andrea Bocelli, Andrea Lloyd Weber, Andreea aka Sahara (but thankfully Costi doesn't have a stake in it, but he does eat steak in it), and Andrea Dice Clay, this is one of the very best delis in North America. Here at Andrea, I like the Hey Cuz and the What's Up, but you can't go wrong with anything. Getting Prosciutto with Fresh Mutz it's always a winning combination but everything they sell is a winning combination. They have good prices, even though they don't do half sandwiches, which is slightly annoying. If you visit North Jersey and don't visit this Deli and the aforementioned others, then you are really really really missing out and I feel bad for you, son. I've got 99 delis but there ain't one that is as good as the ones in North Jersey. As I have said before, the big secret is that Northern NJ is home to the best Italian delis in the world. Well I should say Italian-American but you knew what I meant when I said it. There are some great ones in Chicago and NYC (although I kinda consider this NYC but shh), in Albany and even Dallas. But there is nothing as good as what is in Hoboken and Jersey City and Union City. There are a dozen spots in Ho-broken and nearby Jurbs (Jersey Burbs), all vying for the title of the world's best Italian Deli, and in the end it really comes down to the "big 5" (although I'm still exploring and finding new ones). I can't decide which of the 5 is best, and people I've taken to them have differing opinions. Although one thing we all agree on is: if the other 4 didn't exist, then the one remaining would be the best in the world. That's how good these 5 are. Vito's, M & P Biancamano, Fran's, Andrea Salumeria, and Fiore. If I had a gun to my head and I had to pick one: I'd take all 5. The selling point of all 5 (and all good delis in this area) is that they have Fresh Mozzarella. It's literally fresh, like, still gooey, warm, squidy, just made, and absolute heaven. Their imported meats are the best of the best. Their breads and seasonings, incomparable. You can't get any better than these sandwiches. Come and try for yourself. They have ruined all Italian delis everywhere for me, forever. For a traditional Italian sandwich, nothing will ever compare to Hoboken. Andrea is right up there in the top five in both this region and nationally. Their fresh mozzarella is a warm gooey piece of heaven. They will give you a free sample if you ask for it. You will simply never find a better Deli then this. It's right up there, along with Vito's, Fiore, Fran's, and M & P Biancamano - all within 2 miles of this place. They have nicer service here at Andrea than most of the others, too. The region is legendary for its freshly-made, warm, gooey, Fresh Mozzarella (aka Mutz), so make sure you try that, and get it on your sandwich. Yelp
I live about an hour away Andrea's is a must stop whenever I'm in the area. The guys behind the counter are fantastic and friendly. Each time I've been there I try some of their quality choices. Mozzarella is great. And I highly recommend the peppers in oil!

Yelp
This is the best Italian deli in Jersey City hands-down. If you want to buy prosciutto and fresh homemade mozzarella and this is the place to get it. If you want delicious sandwiches that are packed with meat and this is the place to go. All their salad assortment that they have are amazing. And they get things in that are imported from Italy that you can't find other places. Go there four weeks before Easter and buy those chocolate eggs imported from Italy for all your children in your family. My favorite sandwich from them is a prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich with roasted peppers, tell them to add some of the extra oil from inside the peppers on the inside of the bread. And then I also buy a side of the stuffed hot little round peppers with the bread crumbs inside. I take like three or four of those and I chop them up and I smear them on the bread on the inside of the sandwich oh my god you're ready for a sandwich of your life. Go give it a shot.

Yelp
Good sandwich. Little pricy and took long time fo get food. We ordered 7 sandwiches around 11:30 and food did not come until 1. It was typical place. Same Jersey style sandwich and regular deli sandwich you can get it from most of deli's in Hoboken area. Maybe we can get hot dishes next time. I was not overall overwhelmed. I figure it would be awesome with all these 5 star rating. Bread did not seem to be too fresh either. Will try again soon. Maybe we did not pick what they are good at. I had roast beef sandwich with alpine cheese (I read on menu it had low sodium) and lettuce/tomatoes and little mayo. This time we tried with muzz cheese and it was very nice (on top of roast beef sandwich).

Yelp
I have been drooling over all the sandwich pics over the last few months and finally got to chance to visit last week. It's a bit tucked away in Jersey City heights, so parking could get tough. Don't give up so easily though, because the extra effort is going to be worth it. Despite the fact that they only show 4 options on the sandwich menu, those are just suggestions. The staff here can pretty much make anything you want if you want to order. Speaking of staff, they are probably the nicest people in all of Jersey City. Perfect atmosphere for a family business, no wonder they have been going strong since 1975. Since I wanted to try everything, I ordered the Soprano, the What's Up, the Combo, plus an extra side of fresh mutz to go. It's not mozzarella around Hoboken or Jersey City, just mutz... Favorite turned out to be the Soprano. Loved the contrast of the sun dried tomato against the creamy mozzarella and the perfectly cured prosciutto. Could have finished the whole thing by myself, but decided to stick with the original game plan and sample the rest of the sandwiches as well. What's Up definitely lived up to the hype as well. It carried a good bit of heat from the meat as well as the spicy peppers. The only thing that I would opt out of next time would be the chunks of sharp provolone they put in there. It was just throwing me off a bit. Overall, a great little deli with extremely reasonable prices for the quality that they put out. Will be back again really soon.
