Chef-owner Andreas Kotsifos, formerly of The Palm, brings a European-leaning steakhouse to Allen with tableside touches and a deep wine list. The Dallas Morning News profiled its opening and old-school craft. Think lobster bisque, prime steaks, and a refined, quietly celebratory room.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and his birthday last night, and the entire evening was top-tier! Steve, Javeon, and the entire floor team were absolutely amazing—attentive, professional, and warm. Chef and owner Andrea truly made the night unforgettable. His cuisine was flawless from start to finish. We savored every bite, from the rich lobster bisque and refreshing shrimp cocktail to the crab and avocado, perfectly fried ravioli, tender duck, and the decadent lobster mac and goat cheese. We ended the night on a sweet note with the divine tuxedo chocolate cake. The entire experience was nothing short of exceptional—a perfect blend of fine dining, hospitality, and celebration. Thank you to everyone who made the night so special!

My husband and I decided at 8:30 that we wanted to have a quick dinner for my birthday after kids went to sleep so we got to the restaurant around 9pm. The service was great - Greg was our waiter. And the other waited Dillon was also very pleasant. For the appetizer we ordered a foie gras which was very similar to what we’ve had in Paris. For the main course, we ordered whole bass that was off the menu and it was absolutely delicious. I read some of the other reviews as well and the pricing in my opinion was good. The service was in a timely manner as well. It’s possible we just got lucky as we arrived when everyone else was leaving, however, we eat quite late so this is not unusual for us. The drink was absolutely delicious and not watered down (as I saw other people mention). Overall, if you come on a slower day, you’ll have amazing service and delicious food!

We came here for my birthday as my parents had been here before so they had to show it off to me. We each ordered something different and then shared so I can talk about what my favorite was out of everything. We ended up ordering the lamb meatballs, tuna sashimi, and baked olives for appetizers. Of those three, the lamb meatballs by far was my favorite. The bread is also very good, it was rustic with a dusting of something very tasty around it, I wasn't quite sure what that was, but it was good, we ended up taking the rest of it home. For entrees we ordered the Lobster Thermidor, Beef Wellington, and Filet Mignon with lobster bernaise. Believe it or not my favorite was not the one that I ordered, The Lobster Thermidor is to die for! Don't be afraid of the price, of course all these were above $50 a piece, get the Lobster Thermidor if you can. Even the green beans were perfectly cooked. The beef wellington pastry crust was delicious, it had a wonderful Smoky flavor and was still had nice and crispy layers of course. The filet mignon could have used some salt or butter, and the bearnaise side was cold. There was no salt on the table so I just had it as is without wanting to insult the staff. For dessert we had the tuxedo chocolate cake and the coconut cake. The tuxedo chocolate cake had multiple flavors going on I would recommend it. The coconut cake had a drizzle of caramel, and you can really taste the coconut which I appreciated. The piano player came around and asked us what we wanted to have played, that was a nice touch. Our waiter was very busy with a lot of tables but still took the time to be personable with us and talk us through things. All in all we had a lovely meal I think we sat there for a good two hours and over ate to our delight. Of course I would highly recommend this place, the owner and Chef is Greek so that of course was a delight to hear. As far as atmosphere and dress we went in our Sunday best, I saw others in formal wear because I think it was prom night, and there was a table of people wearing casual clothes, so I don't think anyone can go wrong here, just do your best. I would say it's an upscale place so you might want to do Sunday Best or better. I have reviews in 11 states and counting with over 1 million views of my reviews, follow me for free if you like reading about food!

🌟 A Must-Try Fine Dining Experience! 🌟 We had a wonderful experience at this elegant restaurant owned by a globally known chef. From the warm welcome by the host to the polished ambiance, everything felt top-notch. Our server, Stormie, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional—great service throughout the night. We started with calamari—perfectly cooked and paired with a rich, tasty marinara sauce. The Andrea’s Salad (named after the chef) was fresh and addictive, with a delicious vinaigrette dressing. The wedge salad was crisp and loaded with crunchy bacon—also a hit! For entrées: • New York steak (medium rare): Juicy and full of flavor. • Filet mignon (10 oz., medium rare): Good but could’ve used a bit more searing for a deeper taste. • Chilean sea bass: Amazing! Generous portion, perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Served with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed corn, and sweet asparagus—just perfect. •. For our sides, we ordered the lobster mac and goat cheese , and healthy asparagus. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared — the lobster mac was rich and creamy, the goat cheese added a delightful tang, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked for a lighter touch. Dessert was a light pistachio ricotta cake—elegant and not overly sweet. I originally wanted the lobster thermidor (unavailable that day), so I already have a reason to come back! Highly recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys fine dining with top-quality food and service. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Andreas Prime Steak and Seafood is an absolute gem! From the moment my Mom and I stepped foot inside, we were blown away by the impeccable service and stunning Mediterranean ambiance. The peacock decor added a touch of elegance, making us feel like royalty. Our waiter, John, was not only incredibly charming but also provided us with top-notch service, going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. The lobster bisque and Andreas Salad were both heavenly starters, setting the stage for the mouthwatering mains to come. The chicken parmesan was massive and could easily feed us for days, while the beef wellington wrapped in delicate philo dough was a true showstopper. The cocktails were expertly crafted and delicious, perfectly complementing our meal. To top it all off, the housemade key lime pie was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable dining experience. We will definitely be returning to Andreas Prime Steak and Seafood for more incredible meals in the future. Five stars all around!

Absolutely loved the food and service. Came during DFW's Restaurant week (month). Ordered off both the restaurant week menu and regular menu. I can't wait to come back! Ordered: oysters Rockefeller, lobster bisque wedge salad, lamb meatballs, filet mignon, shuffle mashed potatoes, cream corn, creme brulee, galaktoboureko. Steak was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was such a beautiful experience as well. So pretty! Even the bathroom was stunning!

Google
First time to visit. Server / Sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly. Kind of a hole in the wall but a really great prime steakehiuse. One of the few restaurants in DFW that serves biuillabaise. Lobster Mac and cheese is very flavorful.

Yelp
From the moment we stepped into this restaurant, we were blown away by the intimate and inviting ambiance, dim lighting, cozy seating, and a refined yet relaxed atmosphere that set the tone for a perfect evening. Everything about the service was seamless and intentional. Each course from drinks to dessert was timed perfectly. We never felt rushed, yet we never had to wait. The staff was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. Water glasses were never empty, and every detail was taken care of before we even had to ask. For dinner, I had the ribeye cooked to a flawless medium rare, rich, juicy, and deeply flavorful. The lobster mac and cheese was creamy and packed with chunks of lobster. The creamed spinach was a classic done right, well seasoned, and the perfect complement to the steak. But the real surprise of the night was dessert: the Dubai chocolate cheesecake. I could eat that ten times over. Rich but not heavy, sweet but balanced, and just completely addictive. Special shoutout to Javion, our waiter he was phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, this place nails every detail. It's rare to find a restaurant where ambiance, timing, food quality, and service all align so perfectly but this restaurant pulls it off effortlessly. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
We decided to celebrate my birthday dinner at Andreas last night due to my overall curiosity about this restaurant. I've been coming to the Starbucks next door for years and this restaurant just sits unassumingly in this strip mall and I just thought to myself it must be doing well for it to still be here after all this time. With that said, upon entering, the mood inside was quite lavish and understated at the same time. It was one taxidermy peacock away from being a bit too much but regardless the ambiance was moody and pleasant. We sat at the bar as we arrived early and strangely the gentleman working the bar did not seem like he cared for us too much, no welcome no greeting and we had to interrupt him in a seemingly empty bar to get a drink out of him and the drinks took entirely too long to come out. But at least the drinks were good. Our waiter was top notch. Very professional. Something you would expect at a top dollar steak house. We really enjoyed him and his level of attentiveness to us. The beer poached shrimp cocktail was one of the better ones I can recall having. Perfectly cooked and perfectly chilled with a very clean taste. The escargot had a wonderful garlic flavor and were cooked correctly. The flatbread it was served with was something my wife and I both recognized as something you can purchase at Whole Foods. The Caesar salad was well dressed and very good along with the white anchovy it was served with. My wife and I shared the tomahawk steak. It was definitely cooked correctly and served pre-cut, no issues there at all. The flavor and seasoning on the meat was also spot on. To my surprise, the meat ate a little tough for a ribeye but was still quite delectable. The potato gratin dauphinoise was the perfect accompaniment to the steak. All in all a great meal and if you are local to Allen, want an intimate evening out, Andreas is worth a visit.

Yelp
Yelp had actually recommended this restaurant as somewhere to try. It was incredible! We started with lobster bisque & olives. Both were great but I want to shout out the lobster bisque because it was my FAVORITE part of the entire meal. Next we split the 10oz filet & ordered the garlic green beans. The green beans were lacking in my opinion. They were not very flavorful. Service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable & of course, friendly. Ambience is okay. It's decorated a tad old school & my grandmother would have loved it. We will most definitely be back to try other things.

Yelp
I drive by this place all the time but doesnt think anything of it. Finally got to try it. Beautiful and nice ambiance on the inside, I don't know why I wasn't expecting that initially. I ordered the duck breast and wish I had it as medium rare instead of medium. It was still delicious either way. The filet was tasty. Paired well with the sides of mashed potatoes and green beans. The wedge salad is your typical wedge salad, but sometimes I just want something typical like that. The fried calamari and the tuna tartare were good appetizers. Good service. Glad I finally got to try this place. Will definitely come back again.

Yelp
I'm not normally on this side of town unless I'm meeting friends. We've been here during restaurant week and another time. The bacon wrapped dates so so freaking delicious. I've ordered it each time I've been here. This is my go to app! It is really good. The steak and potatoes were really good here as well. We sat at the bar one time and the service was great. This isn't really a kid friendly restaurant as there wasn't much my little would eat. Luckily they had French fries lol. The ambience is really nice too.

John H.

Yelp
Never had a good meal there or at the bar. Drinks are okay. But the bar is usually dead.

Yelp
We had a great evening at Andrea's. The appetizers were hearty, the service was tremendous, and the quality of food is top notch. The crab cakes and filet were both great entrees. I don't know how to spell or pronounce the Greek desert I got, but it was like a baklava cheesecake. So good. The drinks are generously strong. The restaurant is very fancy inside. A great upscale experience.

Yelp
Great food and service. Our marriage ministry enjoyed a night of fine dining at Andrea's as a part of retreat. Great times!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place being so close to home and being a huge fan of steaks. I wish I wouldn't have came before the rush the waiter kept returning to the table too often not allowing me to enjoy the food or conversation with my wife as he had no other table at the time. It was a little pricey for the establishment with much nicer places giving you more bang for your buck. The dessert was probably the best part of the meal with the coffee martini . I can't say I would return with their being so many other places to grab a good steak .

Yelp
We came here as a group of 4 last month on a Saturday night and it was a pleasant experience . They were not crowded, which was nice. I loved the ambiance - it was giving Alice in wonderland mixed w/ Mediterranean vibes. Very cute . They also seem to have a back room for larger parties . Our server was also very kind and helpful. Most importantly, Chef Andreas came out to greet us himself. Onto the food, some of it was delicious while other parts were relatively underwhelming. The fried cheese ravioli is nothing to write home about - I would not recommend them. French onion soup : tasty but a bit too much sherry for my liking. Crab cakes and Salmon were pretty good The boys grabbed steaks and raved about them ( filet and ny strip ) The lobster Mac and goat cheese was good but VERY rich. I was a big fan of the potato gratin as well. Overall, worth checking out

Yelp
Great food and always excellent service. Steaks, chicken parm, and bolognese dish are always good. Drinks and ambiance are also great!

Yelp
Did you hear about that one steak place in Allen? I love how eclectic the tasting menu was. I made a decision to come here based on the pictures of the dessert. It was also based on an article I read of this establishment. Specifically, how the chef showcases an understanding of French cooking techniques. Honorable mention was given to his lobster bisque soup. Oh my, it was creamy and comforting to indulge in. I loved the salad with the goat cheese brûlée on the outer shell. I requested candied pecans which was such a nice texture to add to the pistachios on it. Chef's kiss. We enter the space and the host was so gentlemanly and welcoming! The icing on the cake was when the executive chef made an appearance at our table. How about the handmade card for the celebrations of life? Portions are sizable, flavorful...definitely with some bites being more salty on the steak. This could've been because the ribeye was a such a generous and thick cut of meat. The bar area is separate from the restaurant side of things. Yet, the loud music impacts the high-end feel the ambiance provides! Would I visit in spite of this? The hospitality and personalization of Andreas would definitely have me visiting again!

Yelp
Truly one of our favorite spots. I actually came here twice this month for birthday dinners. As always the service was top notch and the food was excellent. This go around we had the small seafood tower which was so good, with amazing portions, the oysters, the tuna tartare, which was really nice, the fried ravioli, which I loved, filet mignon and lobster. Chef Andrea greeted our table, we even met his wife too. I also learned that he used to be the executive chef at the Palm in Dallas. So happy that there's a nice steak restaurant close by! Definitely give this place a try.

Yelp
Wow!! I was completely blown away by this place. First and foremost, I was meeting clients for business so although I wanted to get more photos (especially of the beautifully decorated restaurant), I didn't want to be rude or come across as distracted. We each started off with an off menu smoked whiskey cocktail which was fantastic and then moved on to some wine (they an extensive selection) while sharing Oysters Rockefeller and Bacon wrapped dates which were delicious. For my first course I went with the lobster bisque, it was scrumptious and I soaked up every last drop with the fresh baked bread. And for my main dish, I opted for the lamb chops which were cooked medium rare, perfectly seasoned and fairly portioned. We shared asparagus, mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms as our accompaniments. For dessert we settled on some Porto and limoncello pie. The perfect finale to a pleasant and memorable experience!! Before leaving Dallas, I recommended this spot to several clients and colleagues and it will be my go to each time I am in town!!

Yelp
Good spot in Allen, if you can give a pass on the decor, the service was great, the steaks excellent and the food very good. We enjoyed the fluflee charcuterie board, the crab and avocado stack and the steaks - we recommend all 3. The wine selection is also very good with something for everyone. We really appreciated the service and loved the live piano. Thank you!

Yelp
I got there early to enjoy their happy hour. Have you ever been the first 1 to a bar. It definitely could be awkward but in this case I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm! Stormi and Kenneth were the bartenders and they were truly a delight. The drinks are made with care and the attentive service was wonderful even when the bar was at capacity! The ahi tuna on the happy hour menu was exceptional. Overall my recommendation is definitely to try this stunning restaurant out. The owner chef really creates masterpieces.

Yelp
Such a great restaurant in the area! My husband and I were torn on what to eat for our anniversary dinner and decided on Andreas Prime. It was a bit of a drive for us. We were seated immediately. The table was decorated very thoughtfully for our anniversary including a hand written/drawn card. We asked who had created it and it turns out it was the maître d' who came over and told us some amazing stories. As for the food, we were initially disappointed that they were out of the ceviche martini and the lobster thermidor but were beyond wow-ed by everything we did end up ordering (steak tartare, calamari, beef wellington, creamed spinach, onion rings). Even the butter served with the bread with uniquely sweet and light. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for the special occasion which was much appreciated. Can't wait to come back for more special occasions!

Steve E.

Yelp
This place is a total "Knock Out"!!! The Beef Wellington was absolutely amazing. Greg's service was absolutely first class! Recommend Andreas for a group or a quiet date.
google avatar

Matthew E.

Yelp
We've been to Andrea's twice now, and both times were fantastic. Yes, it's expensive, but the quality of the food, and excellent service make it worth it for special events. The first time we went, the A5 wagyu strip blew our minds and ruined other steaks for us. The last time, it was the Australian Wagyu.. Amazing. We preferred that over the A5 because of its meaty "steakiness" while still being super tender. The stuffed dates and baked olive appetizers are fantastic. The staff are friendly, informative, not pretentious, and you feel like they actually CARE about your experience. From the hostess, Maître d', and server, they all give you a feeling of welcome and appreciation for your business. Obviously not a regular dine out night place, but for special occasions.... Amazing!

Yelp
We went on a Saturday night hoping to find a table available but were pleasantly surprised to get a table. Our waiter, Greg was fantastic. His dedication to assuring we enjoyed our evening. The Angels Envy Old Fashion were amazing. My wife had a very dirty martini and throughly enjoyed it. Our appetizer was the Crab and avocado stack, really good. My wife enjoyed the full Red Snapper special for the night and the presentation and taste was delightful. I had the Prime Rib special they have on Saturday nights now and it cut like melted butter. Absolutely fantastic meal, ambience and service. As a side note if you want to see a young man that knows his craft, watch the bus waiter setup tables, he absolutely has a systematic way of working. Bravo to all the staff.

Yelp
Went for restaurant week. Definitely the best restaurant week experience this year. The lobster bisque, dates, Andreas salad, bread and honey butter and the new york strips were all excellent. I love meatballs - after trying the lamb meatballs here, I will stay committed to beef and pork. Yeah - the meatballs definitely were not my thing. Not sure on the desserts yet because we were too full to eat them. But everything else was excellent. Will definitely go back.

Love To Dine Out M.

Yelp
We went for the first time during Restaurant Week. The ambiance, the attentive service and delicious food were amazing. It was, by far, the best lobster bisque I have ever had and the stuffed dates were a combination of everything that I enjoy, from sweet, to salty to savory. My filet was so tender I could have cut it with a fork and the tuxedo cake finished off the meal to perfection. Our server, Greg, was attentive, helpful and made the evening feel like a special occasion event. The whole experience was upscale without feeling stuffy. We couldn't have imagined a better night out. We hope to be back soon.

Yelp
What a beautiful experience. Everything from start to finish was delicious. The staff was excellent and made great recommendations, the head chef actually came out and greeted each table at some point. Absolutely delicious! Take your date here!

Yelp
The food was phenomenal!!! I had beef wellington for the 1st and WOW! They have set the bar! Dolan took care of us and he was very attentive and helpful. Well definitely be back! Ambiance was wonderful even the bathrooms were lovely lol! Great place amazing experience

Yelp
This is such a fun little cocktail lounge vibe in Allen. Upscale and beautiful. Great drinks and apps. The service is better at the bar but we still choose the comfy lounge chairs usually.
google avatar

Allie G.

Yelp
Went here for the first time from recommendations on FB. No disappointment at all! The service was on point, food was phenomenal & drinks were superb! I enjoyed the cheesecake so much, but didn't get a picture of it. The prime rib was huge! Lamb chops were cooked perfectly, and all the sides were mouthwatering. I'll be back

Jackie B.

Yelp
Dined on Saturday evening, taking advantage of restaurant week. Portions were huge, Andreas salad was the best I have ever had! Hubby had a large steak and green beans and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Chicken Parmesan and it was the largest portion I have ever been served! Deserts were key lime pie and chocolate cake, but we had to take them to go. I have taken advantage of restaurant week many times before, and the portions are usually smaller, limited choices and a very rushed feel. But Andreas was relaxing, impeccable service, and one of the best meals we have ever had. Thank you for a wonderful evening and we will return soon!

Gerardo R.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The service was incredible, the staff really helped make our anniversary special (I called ahead and mentioned it to them). The ambiance was very pleasant and romantic. Overall my girlfriend had a great time and was super happy with our choice!

Yelp
Andrea's presents itself as a fine dining steak and seafood house--white tablecloths, moody lighting, and menu prices that rival high-end steakhouses. Unfortunately, the food and execution don't come close. The lobster mac and cheese arrived as overcooked pasta smothered in something that tasted suspiciously like warm Cheese Whiz. The lobster was scarce, rubbery, and clearly not fresh. The "16 oz" ribeye I ordered looked and ate more like 8 ounces, half of which was gristle. Zero flavor, poorly cooked, and barely warm. I brought it home for my dog--and she's the only one who seemed to enjoy it. Even the raw oysters were a bait-and-switch. The menu led me to expect crisp, briny Blue Points. Instead, I got soft, mild Gulf oysters--fine for a dive bar on the coast, not a restaurant charging this kind of premium. To be fair, the service was fine. Our server was courteous and attentive. This isn't a front-of-house issue--it's an ownership issue. Someone is making low-cost sourcing and prep decisions while charging top-tier prices. Andrea's wants to charge Capital Grille prices while delivering Golden Corral quality. It's all sizzle, no steak--and definitely not worth the tab.

Yelp
My friend suggested this place for happy hour. We sat at the bar, and the service was great. The bartenders were really friendly, and they had a decent happy hour menu with drinks and food. I highly recommend the Rockefeller oysters, bacon wrapped dates and calamari. The sliders were okay but a little too pink for me. Get the coconut cream pie, and thank me later.
google avatar

Albert C.

Yelp
Food was great and service was even better! (Shout out to our server Brayden) Came around 6PM on a Friday and it wasn't too busy, but it was starting to fill up. We were seated in the side room which was quieter and more intimate. Highly recommend!

Yelp
None of us wanted to cook so we're off to Andreas prime steak restaurant for a traditional Turkey Thanksgiving meal for two and prime Filet Mignon for our non Turkey lover. The turkey was more than delicious ,the truffle mashed potatoes had exactly the right amount of truffle flavor. The Filet was excellent but the Bread pudding with the Jack Daniel's topping was the standout of the meal with the pumpkin pie coming in second Beautiful ambiance and stellar service. What an excellent choice we made.
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
We ordered the three course menu for takeout. This included rockafeller oysters, lobster bisque, and steak. The food was very disappointing and the steaks were well done when we both ask for medium rare. The rockafeller had spinach which overpowered the entire oyster and the lobster bisque tasted like sour nacho cheese. The only saving graces was the Greek dessert which was light and fluffy along with the friendly outgoing customer service. We paid $170 dollars for this whole meal which is even more devastating.

Jill M.

Yelp
Waiter was good, food was just okay... I thought the dessert was INCREDIBLE!!! Wine was over priced.

Yelp
We have been wanting to try this place out for a while. Great food! Great service! and amazing playlist. Bro, was cutting my cheese up for me that tells you everything you need to know. Amazing wines selection and cocktail drinks. I will be coming back at least once a month. This restaurant is in my top 5 now. Try it. I'm all about trying nice places to eat. This was on point.

Ronald R.

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere and great food. Our waiter was very attentive and expedent. The prices were good for all we got. Not an every night kind of place. Will be going back in the future.

Diana L.

Yelp
Seafood tower was great. Drinks were good. But steak was just ok- we had better at Perry's. What made this experience 2 starts is the slowest service ever. Should not take 3 hours to eat on a Wednesday night when the place was 2/3 empty.

Chenita L.

Yelp
Service was better than the food. Third time coming and will not return. Crab cakes served warm at best and shaped like an ice cream scoop. Most likely previously frozen but definitely not freshly prepared. First visit, waiter entered wrong steaks by mistake. Underwhelmed by Oyster Rockefeller that had too much spinach and sauce. Barrel cut fillet not worth the price, had better tasting at other upscale chain restaurants.

Yelp
This place is just amazing. Great food and great service. Ordered a lot of dishes and none of them disappointed. I've been 3 times in less than 2 months. Probably will go back soon.

Yelp
The food, the service, the atmosphere were all excellent. The chef visits tables in between preparing the orders. How often do you see that. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Is Sunday brunch still happening or no? We are looking for a really nice brunch spot.

Yelp
You know it was exceptional when you're still talking about it the next day! My husband and I are still talking about the wonderful experience we had at this fabulous restaurant last night!! We started with a delicious cocktail and the blue cheese bacon-wrapped dates appetizer, so good! The bar area is beautiful, with the seating option of the backlit onyx bar or a small table with blue velvet club chairs and a jazz guitarist playing. We then decided to move to the dinning area for the full experience. We shared a bottle of wine, the ribeye (medium rare & cooked to perfection), a side of yummy truffle whipped potatoes and onion rings. Oh, and the bread with the amazing butter... Our server Jaxon was spot on! The right balance of professional and attentiveness. He paid attention to details. Our evening was going so well my husband and I decided to make it our Anniversary dinner redo, since our dining experience somewhere else had been a big disappointment. We shared that story with Jaxon and he brought us an anniversary dessert to help celebrate. The crème brûlée was outstanding! I would say I saved the best for last but all the above was hard to beat. The General Manager, Stephen (with a ph - lol ) was so welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in. We had various conversations with him though the evening. He truly made us feel special! Icing on the cake, we got to meet the fabulous chef! We will be back! I only got one picture. We enjoyed just being in the moment.

Yelp
So I'm giving this 5 stars but I would probably say 4.5 stars. My wife and I went here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The food was good although I've had better from other restaurants. I ordered an A5 Wagyu and crab. The Wagyu was just cooked to temp but they didn't render the fat as much as I've seen other places do.

Yelp
My wife and I walked in last night (12/18/24) and decided to sit at the bar to eat. The dining room looked about 75% full, so we were surprised to see the bartenders rushing around as if they were in the weeds. The bar was a mess, with departed guests' drinks and checks laying around, generally disorderly. Back bar was chaos, dirty glasses, many bottles of wine sitting atop the back bar. One (apparently senior) bartender was constantly making drinks for wait staff, ignoring bar customers. The other bartender was aimlessly roaming around, carrying glasses back and forth (with his fingers in them!), just looking confused. He eventually took our order after about 15 minutes of waiting (!). Wife and I ordered wine by the glass (both red) but they were at room temperature. Should have been cooler. My wine was served in a dirty glass. In the end, a place that charges $50+ for a steak (a la carte) and $16 for a glass of pinot really should have MUCH better service. They lost a couple of covers last night; we went across 75 to Brio and had a fine dinner at their bar... They need to tighten things up. Too bad...the food really is good. Service is the weak link here.

Yelp
This was truly one of the most awkward and strange restaurant experience we've ever had. We walk in at 7:30 on a Saturday night hoping we could get in. Not a problem. The bar had no customers and plenty of open tables in the dining room. We sat for nearly 15 minutes while very confused looking service staff looked at us. Finally our server came up, apologized and took our drink order. He seemed very unsure and awkward as he took our drink order. Literally after another 15 minute wait the drinks arrived but incorrect. Without getting too into details the service staff in general seemed very disorganized and uncomfortable. The wine list is very limited and WAY over priced. Cocktails way over priced! Food was poor quality overall and I just have to laugh at the piece of bacon they use. I thought it was Sizzlean. So nasty! Papas Brothers Steakhouse or Capital Grill are so much better in every aspect and honestly much less expensive.

Yelp
Pre arrival we read the dress requirements which said no baseball caps and jackets preferred for men. Well that's not necessary true. We are dressed more than casual and the men in our party are wearing jackets. A guest just walked past us in a t-shirt and ball cap. Hmm. So we asked to have our wine decanted. The waiter poured it into the decanter and immediately poured it into the glasses. Not usually the way it's done. Filet is good, baked potato is cooked well. Don't understand why there's no salt and pepper at the table. We also had the Lobster Bernaise was cold and tasted like stadium cheese.

Yelp
The service wasn't great, they got my billing wrong, the food was average and there was something floating around in my drink. I requested a certain sauce with my steak and they didn't send it. When I requested it again they said the chef/cook (must be a cook because a chef would never) left already for the night. These attention to detail are what you expect at a steak house.

Yelp
The beef Wellington was amazing. Lobster bisque and French onion soup and crème brûlée were great also. Sent back the lobster Mac and cheese. Tasted fishy.

Yelp
We waited in anticipation for this to open. Our anticipation paid off with the perfect dining experience. Our waitress Kara was incredibly professional, thoughtful and sweet. We had the crab and avocado stack first with a wedge salad. Fantastic. Our entrees blew us away. Beautifully presented and as good as any meal we've ever had. Chilean Sea Bass and Chicken Parmesan to die for. They are known for steaks, as well as seafood, so I ordered a prime strip to take home and have tomorrow. The host and manager came to our table as did the chef. You don't see this level of service and attention to detail at the Cheesecake factory that's for sure. Trust us, this should be your go-to if you're in Plano, Allen or McKinney. Thanks for a great evening!
