"The bar of this very small ham and cheese shop is a nice place to stop by after work or meetings to have some of their lovely baguettes of jamón de bellota. The mountains of freshly cut Spanish ham are about as close as it gets to heaven for a jamón lover."

Great little eatery with super friendly staff. They could tell I couldn’t speak Spanish and were very willing to help me order. Good selection of drinks and snacks!

If you’re on the hunt for top-notch bocadillos made with the finest ibérico, you’ve got to check out Andreu. It’s definitely a favorite spot of mine for bocadillos, not to mention their delicious “cocas” and “tastets” – truly a treat! 😋

Very good place for a quick bite while you’re shopping. Loved the jamón serrano and brie! But the brie with truffles was not that good as you couldn’t taste the truffle.

Everything is delicious! Made with high quality and you can always buy the ham if you like it.

Best jamon sandwich in Barcelona...

Went there when we arrived because it was a 5 minute walk from our hotel. I thought it was very good but, since it was in a mall, I thought I would find better food elsewhere later in our stay. After a week in Barcelona I find this is one the best and most reasonably priced places we visited. We returned several times. Good, fresh food, clean area, good prices and prompt and friendly service. Really like this place!

Yelp
oink, oink! i live primarily in the south and southwestern parts of spain, roam the oak forests freely, eating only acorns in my final days. the black Iberian pig they call me, but in death, jamón ibérico de bellota they anoint me. do check my pata negra to make sure they are real and not merely painted. my strict exercise and diet regime, plus a quality curing process lasting between 12-48months, results in intensely flavourful ham, smooth and savoury with a gentle marbling that has been shown to be healthy. andreu brings you that genuine iberian ham from acorn fed pigs, like me, of the jabugo region. if a seat happens to open up at their u-shaped bar counter, grab it! if not, take a number and they will attend to you as soon as possible. a picture menu makes it relatively easy for non native speaking humans to simply point to order. hanging from above, i can't help but observe a multitude of lip licking satisfied customers. my personal recommendation is to have slivers of me lying on top of soft melted brie, lying on top of a contrastingly crusty bread. the open face sandwich, thus created, ensures a crunchy bite, creamy spread and a rich savoury finish that is best washed down with a glass of cava or a red. a beaming nik t., with 2 thumbs up, must surely mean i did not die in vain?
