Andrew Murray Vineyards Los Olivos Tasting Room

My recent visit to E11even under Andrew Murrary Winery in Los Olivos, CA, left me utterly enchanted. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warmest welcome from Alisa, whose genuine hospitality set the tone for a remarkable tasting experience. Initially intending to sample their Cabernet, my plans swiftly evolved as Alisa guided me through an array of tastings, each one more delightful than the last. The moment I savored their Petite Sirah, I knew I had discovered something truly special. Its robust flavor profile was a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication evident in every sip. The ambiance of the winery added to the overall charm of the visit. Their quaint boutique exuded elegance, showcasing their exquisite wines with finesse. And the patio at the back provided a serene escape, offering the perfect spot to enjoy a glass amidst the beauty of the surroundings. E11even Winery has undoubtedly won my heart, and I am already counting down the days until my return. Whether you're a seasoned wine aficionado or simply seeking an unforgettable experience, this hidden gem in Los Olivos is not to be missed. My only regret? Not discovering it sooner.

This is the E11even tasting room, which is Andrew Murray's second label. While Andrew Murray Vineyards is delicious and has some standouts, we both prefer E11even, and as a bonus - they're more affordable. Becoming a member here also gets you the member perks at Andrew Murray as well. The sauv blanc, petit syrah, petit verdot, and cab franc are all standouts. Alice usually runs the tasting room solo, and she's awesome. Loads of info and always up for a friendly chat. Well worth stopping by!

We love to travel to Santa Ynez and Los Olivos for wine pick up, tastings, and a meal. Isaac, at E11even tasting room in downtown Los Olivos, was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with additional purchases. Always a relaxing enjoyable time at Andrew Murray.

We began our wine tasting tour here with Uber; we became stranded as there was no phone service to call Uber. The staff at the winery refused to assist us in any manner. We even telephoned cab companies who were unavailable to come, yet the staff at Andrew Murray were simply not the least bit interested in calling uber for us or providing a one-time code use for WiFi. We bought wine, spent money, yet no-one was interested in assisting us in any way. A couple visiting had the genero sity to help us otherwise we would probably still be there!! We were entirely disappointed and outraged.

So, Alice kept telling me about Andrew Murray and how they’re known for their syrahs and that we had to try it. Finally did. And, well, yeah. That was a bit of a let down. They don’t have a large syrah collection or anything and the rest of their wines were perfectly ok, but not to my taste. Also, the room itself is a touch sterile/modern to my liking. I’d probably save my tasting fee and try another one were I to do it over again.

Nicole was great! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Referred us to home vineyard Andrew Murray and we were very impressed. Wines were great, would go back next trip up.

Nice tasting room in Los Olivos, but only pours his second label (E11even) here. Need to visit the winery for his excellent wines and tasting experience.
