Andrews on the Corner, a restaurant owned by the same family for more than 100 years, offers just that, with burgers, beers from Atwater next door, and stellar chicken wings." - Serena Maria Daniels

Andrews on the Corner has two large rooms, a patio with Detroit River views, and a lengthy bar and features local taps from neighbor Atwater. Despite looking like it stepped straight out of 1899, Andrews also has several TVs keyed into local sports, and walls decorated with many moments from Red Wings history, including the several Stanley Cup appearances at the beloved bar." - Serena Maria Daniels

A True Detroit Treasure! Andrew's Restaurant in downtown Detroit is a family-owned gem that’s been around since 1918 — and you can feel the love in every detail. The food is amazing, full of flavor and made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the best part is that the whole family works there, keeping the tradition alive. You’ll even see the owner nearby helping out in the parking lot — it doesn’t get more hands-on or heartfelt than that! Just a short walk from the beautiful Detroit Riverwalk, this spot is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic food and genuine people. Great, great place!

So glad we stopped in! Met the owner Tom, who is fantastic. Family feeling and great customer service. He really cares and it shows. Warren our waiter was attentive and great at his job. The walleye basket was cooked perfectly and fresh fish, my husband loved the Ruben and the chicken strips our family got were delicious. Bathrooms were super clean as well. We will be back again and highly recommend to stop in here!

LEGENDARY TRUE DETROIT HOCKEY BAR!!! If you are a Detroiter and a true Red Wings hockey fan or just obsessed with hockey in general, then you ABSOLUTELY know about Andrews! And you also likely do know Tom and have had the Perch with fries at some point. If you haven’t had the Perch with fries, then you need to. They sadly no longer do shuttles to the games, but still an awesome place to hang out and get your game on! That goes for watching any of our great Detroit sports teams actually. Or stop in after the game. Great food with a friendly atmosphere. If you hang out for a while, you will be back. They have outdoor seating in the warmer months and are located very near the Detroit river and definitely a great place to go while enjoying the Detroit River Walk. Located in the historic Rivertown district, Andrews has been around since 1918. WOW! That is AMAZING!!! Definitely recommend you get to know Andrews 👍👍 Celebrate Detroit history. GREAT memories made here! Don’t forget to have a Bad Medicine. Ask the bartender and say hi to Tom. ❤️❤️❤️

It's a nice place. Warm wood floors and walls and old fashioned tin tiles on the ceiling. It wasn't busy at the hour we were there. The fish I had was lightly breaded, more seasoning than breading, which I really like, and not overcooked. It was flaky not dry. All of the food we had was tasty and the portions generous but not too huge. I'd definitely go again.

Nice laid back place. Food was great. Ruben was perfect and my wife's perch sandwich was "exactly how their supposed to be." Our server was so nice. Our family always samples local establishments when on vacation and I'm glad we stopped here. It's now on our list of places to revisit when we're back in Detroit.

I had the perch sandwich, which is easily one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever had. Toasted bread, crunchy fish, fresh veggies. The pretzels were hot, soft, and delicious. The service was genuine, kind and welcoming. I will definitely come again!

This is my second visit to the restaurant and the food was ok. Fries had no seasoning. The waitress was AWESOME, great service! The ladies room is embarrassing. Dingy and really needs to be more welcoming to Your female guest.

There's a smallish menu here, but a list of specials that rotates. I got the steak tips in zip sauce and did not regret it. Savory to the last bite paired with garlic bread.
