Sharon, the owner, is incredibly enthusiastic about every detail—large or small—about this wonderfully historic place with an immense amount of plants, trees, and flowers from around the world that are thriving in Barbados. It’s a lush wonderland and educational without being too high-brow. A must for any visit to Barbados! 12/6/25 visit

Since an entrance you are welcomed by a lovely lady working on cash desk. She was super nice and helpful. We also decided to have a drink and pastry at cafe there. They are making them fresh everyday and we also were able to buy a loaf of bread! It was delicious and similar to more European style bread (not that sweet and deliciously crusty, so we enjoyed it with just a butter 😄). Both lemonade and pastries was delicious.

Beautiful botanic gardens, filled with fabulous trees and wildlife. Great trail through the gardens with an audio tour app. A restaurant and cafe serving the most delicious pastries, so good we bought extra to take home! 10/10 recommend spending a morning here and stopping for some food at the end. Pick up a lovely local hand crafted gift in the gift shop on your way out 🥰

A fascinating and entirely authentic botanical garden which is the love of Sharon, the current owner's, life. After many years of neglect her small team are bringing it all back to a very beautiful life. The gardens are full of the most amazing trees which can be viewed from the path which winds its way around the garden. Great café too which serves excellent cakes and pastries.

Excellent botanical garden. A must visit if you are impressed by botanical spaces and are into botany. Lots of flora you will only find in this island, some that ahs been imported but thrives here, and greenery will fill your point of view whichever way you look. The Eastside cafe near the entrance has good coffee. It did rain on my visit and I recommend bringing an umbrella so you can enjoy comfortably.

I am a fan of Botanical Gardens and this was by far one of the most beautiful peaceful Gardens I have ever been to. The staff were so kind and very helpful. I had the most delicious snack of a croissant and a coffee that was so fresh. I really enjoyed talking to the owner, Sharon, she was so lovely. I downloaded the app which I thought was extremely helpful explaining all of the beautiful Plants and Flowers that are a part of this garden. There is also a little cafe on site and a cute little locally sponsored shop. I saw lots of green monkeys! I traveled by bus and it was a long trip from the other side of island but definitely worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this visit!

This is exceptional if you enjoy gardens and wildlife. Sharon and her team are really welcoming and knowledgeable, keen and ready to make the visit more memorable. I was fortunate enough to take some amazing photos of hummingbirds but there is more than enough fauna and flora for everyone. Just go - it’s wonderful!
